No, because all tickers are not the same length - news icon is temporary so it doesn't matter much. Maybe to the left of ticker, though.

I used it for cleaning my registry... most of the other features are already available in Windows in some way or another.
Did it help... I didn't notice... but I already keep a pretty clean, lean machine.
Will it help you? Depends... when's the last time you defragged or ran disk clean up?
Won't hurt to give it a try anyway.
I've used it in the past, didn't hurt anything. No catch that I remember.
Unfortunately, MSE won't work for you.

Hey, thanks for writing... I always buy an enclosure for the old drive when I buy a new HD. No exeption here. I run an old Dell Latitude, had a 40 (37.2) GB and I have a 60 (55.8) GB spare, already enclosed. I was constantly running into limited space problems when converting movies or loading music.
I thought long and hard about buying this 120 (111) GB when I could have gotten at least a TB for the same price... except that a TB would have had to be external and 120 is the top limit for this model internal. IOW, it wouldn't have helped me out with my space struggles where I needed the help.
Right now I'm moving my movies from my spare to the new spare, then I'll defrag them both and still yet may drop an image of my new disk on one of them. Or keep a running backup. I've always been pretty good about backing up what's important to me.
Now, you may be wondering why I didn't clone my old disk... it always bugged me that it had "valued customer" for the name of the first admin account... would never let me change it and it's not the account I use.
Now that the grief is over, I can enjoy it again. It wouldn't have been so bad had I realized there were no network drivers on the reinstall disc. Just don't ever want to do it again. Funny thing is, I had just restored my nephews pc a couple months ago... went smooth as silk.
I did learn an interesting tidbit, or relearned as I think I wonder this every time I buy a new drive...
Oh... I don't know what I was looking at during that previous post. I used Easeus Todo
http://www.todo-backup.com/
It made two dvd discs and I will use my original Windows reinstall, then use their program to restore the HD with the two discs made by their program.
That should work, right? Will you please delete that post that points to the wrong program... I don't need to confuse myself any more than I have. Thanks!
Isn't this what I want to do?
http://www.todo-backup.com/backup-resource/restore-system-after-crash.htm
If need be I would reinstall with my xp disc, load their program from wherever, probably save it on a spare drive, then choose the Restore task, pointing to the first of two dvd disc...
So I don't even need BartPE if I have my original reinstall disk. Just reinstall and then use a ReflectFree image of my hd to install everything else I had imaged?
Hey all... I replaced my hd last week and did a clean install with the disc that came with the pc. I never want to do that again. I've read up on creating and/or slipstreaming a recovery disc but that uses the old reinstall disk.
My question is... will these two programs, free editions:
BartPE
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,63901/description.html
Macrium
http://www.macrium.com/ReflectFree.asp
allow me to, after they're made, insert BartPE disc, bootable, to install my current, at time of creating, os with all current drivers, sp 3, updates and hotfixes etc.
and insert Macrium disc to install all my programs and settings as they are at the time of creating
so in the end I have exactly what I have right now, on this pc, of course.
I see Macrium will allow using a BartPE plugin... is it necessary if I already have a BartPE bootable emergency disc?
TIA to anyone with any knowledge of these programs and/or alternative procedures to accomplish the same.
Oh... the one up right now isn't the same one that was up at my last post. They must be going through them fairly quickly. Well, it does say ALL DAY, lol.
I try to check cowboom (what a name, eh) daily... they really do have some great deals sometimes.
There's another one up already... it does include os key. Don't know, off hand, what a key would cost...

Interesting application. Could be several reasons you were unable to print it form Outlook. Were you able to print from Yahoo? It looks like the sender of the email created the restricted permissions.
You could try doing a screenshot. At any rate, it doesn't appear to be an update that is preventing you from printing.
Use the down arrow and Enter... it will work as intended every time.
Firefox - Backing up and restoring bookmarks

I believe so. Mom got it from a link on a trusted website via pdf file as far as we were able to determine.
Think Point... my Mom got it yesterday. We had to boot into safe mode (with networking if you need to download Malware Bytes), Ctrl/Alt/Delete to get the task manager, stop the service hotfix.exe (or something with hot in it).
Go to Applications under task manager and click new task
Type explorer.exe and the desktop will load.
Then run your Malware Bytes, then your MSE... then you might also run a search for the file on your pc to be sure it's gone.

In general? It depends. I'm not against restores by any means but personally it's usually a last resort and depends on length of time between noticing the problem and changes since the last restore point.
Don't know about that. I know it wasn't part of the problem when I was experiencing it way back when. I'm having vague memories on the tip of my tongue teasing me about it... I hate when that happens...
