Sure thing, Princeton (Sarcasm). Most folks (Long, and for that matter, Short) smell a confederate post when they see it.
Help me understand: You claim to have been in AMRN with >100,000 shares for almost 3 years, yet, your account was born today and you're weighing in as a "helpful long"???
That kind of entry into the "conversation", has been previously employed by 99.999999% by other "helpful Long" who, in final analysis proved themselves to be Shorts (or even paid Shorts) time and time again.
The stock is currently trading at $20.63. Trust me...You will NOT pull it down for more than an hour, or at best, a day with such a transparent attempt.
A ≥25% reduction in major cardiovascular events is a Game Changer....Period.
I would say, very, very conservatively, you can easily expect a PPS > $35, come November 12th. ...most likely, quite a bit more.
MARK THIS POST Princeton, we'll be revisiting this conversation quite soon.
"Did I get that right?" Yes, ORBAPU, you got that right! Further, generics will be at a marked disadvantage as they are late to the game, and AMRN has already been engaged (for years) in securing sources of API materials.
Spot on, Raf. It very simply about making or losing money. AMRN is now making a lot of money for me and I have reason to believe that it will continue to do so, and do so admirably.
I guess that guys that are living in fear of a margin call relating to their overzealous shorting activities will just continue to spew FUD until they get that awful margin call. At that point, they will probably just go away slither back under a rock somewhere. There will, of course, be no admission that they were wrong here on a message board. They will just have to explain to their spouse why there won't be a new car or a decent vacation in the foreseeable future.
Such a pity.
raf, I find it amusing that certain shorts never quit.
They remind me of a baseball team that's at bat in the bottom of the 9th and currently losing 6-to-1, with two outs, two strikes, no balls (pun intended) and are are spouting off false bravado: "Yesirreee, boys...now we've got 'em right where we want 'em!"
Many "old timers" in AMRN will recall that around the time of any significant news event for Amarin, such as the ADCOM disaster, this board, (as well as Stocktwits et al) would suddenly see several new " concerned Longs" pop up. Typically, they would greet everyone with a "Hey guys, fellow Long here. I've been a lurker but just wanted to weigh in, ask advice, etc." Then after 2-3 posts, (sometimes, even in the initial post) they would start in with a plethora of "what are we gonna do if this or that happens?" "Have you considered that X stock is a better place to put your money?" type questions.
Over a very short period time, it would become clear that these new "Hi fellow Long", fellows were, in fact, very energetic, motivated, Shorts that were posting here for the sole purpose of spreading FUD, (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt).
This scenario seems, once more, to be at play now that AMRN is on everyone's radar.
Don't feed the shorts & trolls.
There will obviously continue to be fluctuations in the PPS due to day-traders darting in and out as they try to scrape up a few pennies here and there prior to Nov. 10th or a BO offer. In the meanwhile, those of us who are long-time longs, know what we have here and are not going to let go of our shares "on the cheap" in response to some asinine posting by some Johhny-come-lately, Short, naysayer who holds himself out to be "a true, but concerned Long".
I second your nomination, dmlcento.
Perhaps the FDA scheduled on that date precisely because they want to make sure that there is no one with brains there...
Hmmmm.... I remember him posting a LOT of FUD back in the day.
I used to think of him as "The Doctor of Doubt".
Dear Marino.... I think that anyone with half a brain would probably respond to your post with something on the order of:
"Blow me! (And while you're at it, blow my dog also.")
Go away..... You are stewing nonsense.
Yoyippie: just admit that you're a short and that that in all things, that is your"investment strategy...Spew FUD, and look for a penny or two, here or there. Go review your posts. (Anyone that takes anything you say with even a billionth of a grain of salt should also review your posts and they will quickly see that this is true.). You obviously do no true research, yet denigrate those who do.
So, buddy, enjoy you two cent gain as short lived as it will be. Those of us who have bothered to do some homework will, out of pity, probably toss you a quarter for a cup of coffee, when you're on the street homeless and covered with scabs.
(Trust me, in the long term, (and I've been here, and will continue to be here for the long term), you are gonna lose your ass due to such shortsighted thinking.)
Congratulations, Sam! What a great week. I hope that "Mom" and baby are doing well. And, as always, thank you again for the numbers.
KevGee59 : A quick story. On Sept. 24th (Last Monday) I called Zumantu's house and cell phones at 6:37 a.m. trying to awaken him to the amazingly wonderful news of the day. (He and I have become great friends and, as fate would have it, live less that 5 miles from each other. (he will confirm this story to be true.)
I am a studio musician by trade and it is somewhat unusual for us "professional noise makers" to arise too much before "the crack of Noon", as we often work sessions late into the evening thus, I generally don't ever look at my computer much before 8~8:30 in the morning... and even then my coffee trumps all other daily preliminaries.
For whatever reason, I could not sleep, came downstairs and in an admittedly blasphemous move, fired up the computer prior to even starting the coffee pot. After I saw the preliminary R-It notices and PPS heading skyward, ran upstairs to tell my wife the great news, called Zum, and went looking for the smelling salts.
For whatever reason, something felt different enough on Monday morning as to cause me to skip my usual, OCD, Rainman-like coffee ritual and head straight for the computer. One of the best days ever.
The volume and PPS rise over the last week, coupled with the positive R-It data show Pyr's arguments to be moot.
He is obviously trying to cover a massive short that is costing him a LOT of money.
Is this guy on suicide watch?
A cursory analysis of MARINO's 15,000+ posts will make it obvious to anyone that:
A.) There actually are,"pro Shorts".
B.) That MARINO is employed in that occupation.
(MARINO ... at this point, you are wasting your, and your employer's time here....the cat is out of the bag. Vascepa works.
specopsman' welcome! I see you just joined the AMRN / IHub board today... Care to say hello to everyone and introduce yourself?
Great stuff, Raf!
To the"old timers" here:
Remember: When we kept getting pinned to the mat at $6.66 every day for about six centuries?
Remember: Waiting for Fridays to check the O.B., thinking "Surely, it's gotta be there this week!"?
Remember: Adam Fartstain, Matthew Herpes, et al, as they spewed barrels of cold water (and diarrhea) on every single crumb of of good news we'd get?
So yeah, call me a vindictive fuck, (although I'm generally a pretty chill guy,) but I'm absolutely loving watching Shorts getting "waterboarded" with concentrated, hydrochloric acid as they get financially roasted.
JL re: "I want everyone who has stayed the course for this saga of sagas to understand how much I appreciate and thank you for your fortitude, education, wry humor, and patience.
You, Zum, (who, BTW, I have become great friends with, and who, as fate would have it, lives <3 miles from me), HD, Sam, (with his weekly numbers, BB, et al have kept me here on the ship even when I felt like Odysseus...tied to the mast by my own directive, as I being urged towards a rocky shore by "seductive", Short/FUD, voices.
I am so happy for all of us Longs, and so satisfied by the demise of the Shorts that taunted and insulted us. Most of all, I'm so grateful for the acquaintances and friends that I've made here, on the boards, and in real life as a result of learning a bit about Vascepa, and investing in Amarin.
In my case this has been a rough 5+ years in many ways, but today, I have nothing but thanks and admiration for all of those who been compatriots along the way.
Thanks, guys & gals!
I didn't know that Pyr was on twitter...
This li'l gem of a post from Pyrr, (wherein he unequivocally states that R-IT will fail), deserves to be revisited.
N.B.: It's odd that he would still feel comfortable, endlessly posting FUD when he has been so thoroughly discredited. Then, again... I guess that's what he gets paid to do.
I truly just love the smell of Shorts getting roasted in the morning...sublime.
To steal from the Folger's Coffee ad...
"The best part of waking up, is seeing Shorts bankrupt.
Thanks, Capt. Beer.....there's been more than one time where your courage in stating "Beer's good" on ST kept me marching when I felt like trowing in the towel. I may not have as many shares as you, but I am every bit as proud of our triumph!
Thanks again Captain!
I am so happy for all of us!
Welcome valuearb. You've been here since 2015, but this is your first post, and truthfully, it sounds a bit odd.
Pyr, I cannot believe that you would even show your face here now after all of your nonsense has been thoroughly disproved. Then again, inasmuch as we all live under pseudonyms, you, as a human being, have no skin in the game as far as your personal credibility with those that actually know your true identity.
With that in mind, post as much B.S. as you wish... there is not a soul on this board that takes you seriously.
How's that short workin' out for you, ricardoga?
You might want to take a break from posting nonsense for a while and figure out how you're going to keep your house now.
Buenos dias.
couldbebetter: I'm right with you on this. Secondary endpoints are likely to be interesting and fruitful for us, when divulged. Dry eye syndrome has been anecdotally referenced, as has, Vascepa's anti-inflammatory action. $50 may end up being low in the case of BO. I'm in no hurry to sell.
Patience and conviction has been rewarded for those of us who stayed long during some pretty nasty storms. I'm in no hurry to sell.
I have to admit to having a clinically significant case of schadenfreude as I imagine some of the mouthy Shorts getting margin calls or having to explain to their spouse why they have to sell their house.
Karma is a bitch.
I'm selling...(but not for less than $35).
Bump...
Congratulations to all! This has been a LONG haul. I am sure that the next sentence will reveal me to be a "bad person", but considering the torment that the shorts wielded towards us, I am comfortable saying it.
I hope that the Shorts who were so vocally nasty have lost their shorts (underpants) in a major way.

The agreement for supply and commercialization is for Canada only and includes all Canadian provinces.
Does anyone know if Pyorrhea is still shorting this at $3.38? I don't think it to be a wise move...
Personally, I take Py's reappearance on this board, coupled with his "well meaning" warnings to everyone regarding his opinion that there is no way that R-It could ever, possibly be successful as a good, strong buy signal.
In the event that anyone is unfamiliar with the method of accessing all of the archived posts from any given user, simply click on the user's name, then, upon arriving at the next screen, you'll see a linked number that will display of of that user's posts.
I'll leave everyone to draw their own conclusions, however, in Py's case, I cannot find any posts out of his 4,700+ posts where the intent seems to be anything other than trying to instill fear, doubt etc.
I've been waiting to buy more shares....thank you Py.
Thanks, Sam. Yes...odd numbers. My suspicion is that the numbers are possibly the sum of last weeks numbers added to this week's (short week) numbers. Perhaps someone at Symphony or IMS forgot to pull last weeks numbers out of an entry field before adding this week's numbers.
The other logical explanation, is that folks were loading up on Vascepa (et al) as a prophylactic measure to ward off the impending ill effects of excessive Thanksgiving gluttony

Vascepa now available in half-gram capsules. IMO, a good move by Co.
Murph, You seem to contradict yourself on a fairly regular basis with regard to AMRN. Out of passing curiosity, I just clicked on your name, then clicked on the 274 posts that you've shared on this board over the last 3 years. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that, per the information that you've shared in your posts: You lost your house, your wife and thus obviously, some of your local stature & comfort as a result of Amarin's stock price not playing out in concert with your investing strategy.
With that being said: Why are you still in here? Are there no other investments/trades that are more suitable to your personal risk tolerance and level of trading/investing experience?
Additionally, I am curious as to why you have, from time to time, posted statements saying that you're selling/sold, and that you'll never invest in AMRN,...yet you routinely show up here and on StockTwits to drone on when you apparently have no position and talk about selling. Help me out here, Murph: Are you trying to save the world?
I thank you in advance for your selfless, altruist endeavors, however absent a cogent answer from you, I'll have to stick with my currently held observation that you are probably just engaging in garden variety distribution of FUD.
Of course the possibility remains that you hold a position that is involved with (the flagging) sales of Lovaza or it's generic "trout burps", counter point, which would more than adequately explain the apparent dichotomy between your posts and reality.
Soon enough, it will be more difficult to communicate with our dear friend, Pyrr. Will reveal shortly.
Carry on, my friend. Good thing are coming YOUR way.
