Neil,
I will research the specificity of the solo/scmi revenues with our CFO and get back to you on that, I being a paid communicator and BELIEVER in scmi/mmxt, will not shoot from the hip, the communications I provide come from the appropriate sources although I am also a convinced shareholder and also do provide my personal opinion, I will attempt to distinguish the difference when communicating.
In terms of the numbers I provided specifically in the 2nd quarter we come in at an average 3.5 cents per cd on approximately 7 million cd's. I expect that the first 2 weeks in July provided some good production numbers thus the July 13th press indicating the significant milestone. mariomax
My optimistic, enthusiastic, intuition is tied more to the big picture of time and magnitude therefore I find it easy to be patient and I am most content with our superior positioning, technology and market leadership. The industry is tiny and is about to explode so I am very excited about such a cheap price, for other opportunity seekers, more now than ever.
If you are constrained by the compartementality of in-house projections for this year, you are stuck with a small picture view and must be frustrated. If you can raise your sights of a bigger picture you will find that it is a more exciting view and ride. Life is a choice, my view has always been long-term with huge prospects for copy-protection in which we are PERFECTLY positioned. Good-luck.
The number of cd's produced is of no surprise, yes approx. 7 million and/or slightly more or less.
On July 13th we announced we were at the 20 million mark, grand total. ten million as by the end of 2004 and ten million as of July 13th for 05. Therefore, 1st qtr + 2nd qtr + up to Jul 13 production, is near 10 million.
If one was to use the sensibility of past numbers to determine if we will make 145m cd's produced, one would think not, that is not to make that number,
but
this would not be a correct way of measuring whether or not we can achieve this number.
The reality is:
A. 4th quarter is the lion share of the record business.
B. SonyBmg's Hesse clearly states they will be @ a 100% rate of copy prection by the end of the year or begining of 06.
C. The momentum is going our way with Sony/Bmg, we are getting all the releases including the latest trend from Sony specifically.
D. This is with or without apple or the merger.
E. If in fact, Apple recognizes copy-protection, with mediamax ipod ready and the best technology out there...Katy and Sally bar the door we are locked into a huge victory/winner = Revenues/higher valuations(JMO).
F. Legal digital down loads is suddenly, in 2005, a huge business opportunity for mmxt/scmi because of our superior mediamax technological software component, called secureburn. This is huge!
G. Watch Universal very closely on BOTH the cd and digital down load side, this alone CAN put us @ the top, with the number 1 and number 2 record companies.
H. mediamax is international, this will be marketed very soon.
I. Warner, is a huge company...video and audio...pay close attention to them, they are up to speed in copy-protection after San Diego.
J. Koch, They are now the 5th largest record company, lets keep are ears open there, rumor is they like the market leader.
K. Csn is real and big, however the "short term" aspect is in fact coming into question(not under our control).
L. Dark Noise is/will be in clear pursuit, eventually most possibly plugging up the analog hole.
mariomax
To further clarify the revenue issue, whether or not the legal read is one interpretation or another, is irrelevant, certainly what you read is correct.
The point being our CPA, tax consultant,Director, CFO, Mr. AL Golusin treats the numbers legally and correctly from an accounting realm, ethics and otherwise.
accounting treatment: mmxt=40%, scmi 60%, scmi has solo mostly pre-mmxt contracts that bring additional revenues.
approximate total revenues from mmxt contracts: mmxt=85k,scmi=130k, scmi additional revenue= 30k to 50k(scmi, non-reporting).
Units pressed in quarter: appx. 7 million @ appx. .035 avg.
self proclaimed deadline? The week of August 15th was an estimated date for the completion of the audit. The auditor's are doing the best they can, they are in control, it was their estimate. The auditors, attorneys and SEC will take longer than they suggest. We scmi/mmxt move @ the speed of light, just ask SonyBmg or anyone of our customers, when we are in control we deliver quickly and flawlessly.
Thanks sting, therefore the 2 year consolidated audit is un-precedented and the historical reference to 2002 has no merit what-so-ever besides we were a garage company according to Krepick, in the pre-mvsn fo pa folly days. Garage companies are expected to make some mistakes along the way and can be forgiven not these so called mature companies.
Hi Howdy,
scmi/mmxt is a small business filer based on the criteria established by the SEC:
A. requires 1 year balance sheet
B. requires 2 year income statement
Big business is:
A. 2 year balance sheet
B. 3 year income statement
The criteria is set based on
magnitude of assets or revenues or market cap.
mariomax
Sammy, I agree with you, the respect and honor of the old days are probably, unfortunatly gone. Today you think someone is a friend and they take a cheap shot because they know there is no ramifications for their actions. My regards to the hill and the RP New England group. Please call scmi @ 866-sunncomm and I will give you my personal view on the situation. thx., Mario
Corey, In Howdy's defense, alhtough he has been a tremendous positive on this board, these are not all simple questions....I do have an update on these issues for you and anyone else...plse call 866-sunncomm or 602-267-7500. Thx., Mario
Steh: I have no knowledge of numbers before their released, we all are looking at the same public info. thats been released thus far, it is in the hands of the auditors. The q will be completed before the extended grace period expires. The consolidated 2 year audit was originally due this week, will probably be ready the end of next week, I count at least 5 auditors at the office and they are working their tails off. We are spendidly positioned for "the ultimate" in success. The q thats coming out will represent our 1st growth quarter and we could all pretty much count the combined numbers from the amount of releases produced during that time frame, so no need to sweat the small stuff..we have a big picture that is about to begin and it is going to be the most exciting thing out there, the stock price is cheap and in my opinion will prove to be one of the great opportunities of the present time. Thank-you. mariomax
Its acceptable to use grace as a bulletin board company, the constraints are over-whelming with sarbanes-oxley, small companies can't afford an entire team of top 5 accounting firms, get real, the only issue here is the dreadful "E", we are not at risk, so 5 days utilization is fine, no sweat! It goes with the territory, its there for your use, the "E" is the major screw up, not 5 days grace.
MMXT is NOT late on filing! the extension simply utilizes a 5 day grace period... calm down, please call 866-sunncomm with questions.. ask for Investor relations for information.
Mario
Touche, J.r., That could be the opportunity of a decade!
Max, pop the cork! your going to be rich! but drink the wine so you can live to enjoy it!
This year??? The opportunity is for us to be a 1/2 billion dollar company in 3 to 5 years!!!! The focus for next year is a possible high 8 figures!!!! That writing could be on the wall just around the corner!!! Wake up!!!
The last 2 years??? We have been building the company, its not a matter of right and wrong its about positioning for the big spurt of growth in the industry and WE ARE PERFECT IN THAT REGARD aaaannndddd the stock is a steal. Get a grip on reality and look at the forest not the bark of BS.
yes, this is a neg but lets put it in its proper perspective:
A. we won't get the awful "e"
B. This is an unusual time because we are crawling the offices and conference room with auditors.
C. We have the 2 year consolidated audit that is being completed for the s-4 filing which is for the merger and "Its on schedule" for completion over the next 5 business days.
Lets try not to over accentuate this negative because we have
so much happening from an audit stand point that is all being successfully completed.
This quarter will be our first growth quarter and is only the begining. It is amazing how well positioned we are for exponential growth that is about to occur shortly. There is a real big picture here for us that is phenominal, lets try to concentrate on it.
scmi/mmxt=
negatives= small potatoes
positives= major, major big
This is not BS, its true and those that take advantage of the over-sold stock will be well rewarded but I think we will all make money on this stock regardless of what price we payed its just another opportunity but this cheap nonsense will end soon when the industry recognizes copy-protection. Thank-you in advance for understanding.
congratulations on a spectacular purchase!!!!!!!
This company will not allow the shareholders to be "short changed" by cheap buyouts, we will vigorously move in the direction of achieving full value by the continuence of being the leader and standard.
MC, The SEC is their to help us, bless their hearts, I just wish they would step in, when the real crooks drive stock prices down to the ground by naked shorting and putting young companies out of business. mmax
Gibski, your still not getting it, try eating a fruit plate and make sure you use the red delicious stuff that will take the toxins out of your brain this way you will finally see the Mac truck loaded with baked cake and you guessed it xxxxx pie.
wake up while its cheap and clear that mental block of yours.
Thank-you Howdy!!! This is a smart guy... for all you doubters out there, the guy not only "gets" it but he is telling you this stuff while the stock is still a cheapy, I am a paid consultant thus a reason not to listen to me, although I try to give you all honest cues and clues but Howdy is just a guy in the know putting his money where his brain/mouth is. Thanks again Howdy for sharing and caring while were dirt cheap!
mariomax
attention all SCMI posters: Listen to Howdy!!!! His DD is impeccable!!!! He is right on the $$$$$!!!! He has figured this whole thing out, I will tell you he has friends in high places!
I like your thinking Howdy! I will stick to my more conservative opinion and hope it gets exceeded by larger valuations. I do not have a problem being wrong on this issue, please express your opinion on this because I believe it holds weight on this board. Thank-you in advance. mariomax
howdy howdy howdy Ho! I'll bet that since you are so well learned in the due diligence of the business/industry, we can probably agree on potential valuations, my suggestion .50 to $1.50, 1-3 years. If not bought out and short changed by deep pockets, $5 to $10, in 3 to 5 years. Randy, .25 will be a low estimate but year end is reasonable and steh $20 is not in my line of sight but I like it you even lift my spirits more positive. Good work Gents. mariomax
Howdy, I retain the ethical right as a consultant to the company to remain silent on such matters as "A big twist" per se. I will, however, tell you that at this point I believe you know what it is and who it is with.
I think you represent a large NY Financial concern or possibly a friend of the industry or both...perhaps a record company in itself and you have tried to talk the stock down, for accumulations sake! LOL, go get em tiger! I know you have created opportunities for smart buyers, thank-you, very much. The best part is you have now accumulated a sizable position and you are begining to come out of the closet, as a huge long, that bought a plethora of stock, cheap. My congratulations sir! I understand that you are still acquiring stock and love these prices, get it while its cheap, eh Howdster. I believe you are part of the deep pocket/smart money crowd. Oh so, schrewd Howdy, my hat is off to you! If you want me replaced, that is not a problem just come up with the appropriate replacement's.
yours truly,
Mario "IKE" Iacoviello

PS It is cajones, The Sicilians refer to the Spanish version of balls, to compliment a visigoth/conquistador/bull fighter type of courage, it takes real "cajones" to whack your enemies.
Thank-you steh, for those kind words! I will give you concise answers to your questions:
1. no buyers- we live in a society, that since the roaring 90's
the country has become a bunch of "momentum buyers", however that being said, DP & SM have been short for quite sometime, I now see them on the bid going long and perhaps covering but trying not to raise the price, they need an extended accumulation period, the sellers are the schmucks.
2. The industry needs to make public its intentions and than the market ready/leader will become more established, as just that the leader, in its pragmatic friendly readiness, than the stakes are in the hundreds of millions and perhaps at that point a possible offer would emerge until than, the leader would resent being short-changed by a big concern.
3. mvsn, bought the wrong company, they have spent a plethera of capital on being one year behind the leader, the industry wants competition any how so its a mute point at this juncture.
Thanks again and hang in there.
maybe Bmg's new copy-protection can or will be ipod ready, hellllllooooo. 4 is getting u gotz, wake up and smell the money. good-luck. MI
Gibski, mmxt: (and i'm not too technical)
volume up
up volume, up
spike(trying to break out)
only the begining.
Great speculation/opportunity because the industry is about to take off and were positioned to take off with it.
The merger is going to move the legitimization process even further in our favor. The branding process were going to engage in, will help bring the stock in line with the momentum of the positioning of the product.
I think sony/bmg thinks we act like a real company. If however,
an investor is viewing the half empty scenario vs. the half full scenario, maybe its not for that investor. If your an intuitve speculator this is a great deal, if however, your a sensible investor, why speculate?
The funny thing is that the spec. part is just about over and we will all than see where we are going, so complaining at this point is what doesn't make sense nor $$$$$$'s. Thank-you.
mariomax
Yes, its been speculative for 5 years and its been quite a ride. The legitimization process takes as long as it take's but its not as relevant when your in a position of magnitude, as we are, yes, its been longer than we all expected but thats just the way it is(buy, sell or hold(stop complaining(its boring))). The process has been slow till...now. I'm sorry if your not happy, maybe you'll feel better if you go to the library and seek facts. If you want a common sense deal, buy a big cap stock with more facts. It may be a better ride for you. good-luck steh.
An example, of your denial, of our success, is in your last post..."I only hope the "theory" that MM5 will be the "standard" of the industry, actually becomes a fact!!!!", you see Collin we have been the standard for two years, thats not the issue.
The point is, we are speculating on the MAGNITUDE of the industry, we know copy-protection/mediamax is ramping up, we know MM5 is a real leader/winner, we know were positioned to take full advantage of copy-protection.
We must allow the momentum of the industry(copy-protection(audio/video/digital)) to move at its own speed, it is not up to scmi, scmi creates value by positioning itself, quickly and as efficiently as possible. This is a great success of ours and also the reason why, we are so well, positioned.
We are sony/bmg's baby and they love us! They are a major component of the full negotiations of recognizing copy-protection. Why? They have the standard in their pocket. Who..mediamax, not a theory. mariomax
I'm happy your having fun Gib! Look...there are things we know...facts. There are things we are speculating on...conjecture. Everything just isn't a fact in speculation until it unfolds. Speculation in Greek means "pay to see" that is what we are invested in, its the wild west, pinks. Are you in denial of this in your constant request of facts.
The fact is we have success's in which you deny! So you want facts that are unreasonable because its speculative but the facts we have you deny. It sounds like real Giberish to me!
1 for 1
sumday, We are on target for the 4th quarter, the s-4 registration should be filed in early September and it is estimated to take 30-90 days. mariomax
Dr., I can try to point in the right direction in terms of our positioning in the industry but a fact is not a fact until its a fact. In my attempt to be intuitive, optimistic and calculatingly speculative in my sharing of information, I must try carefully not to mis-lead because things change quickly as we all know, therefore if info comes across as a riddle, I do apologize, for to mold a scenario based on a mixture of facts and speculation can be communicatively challenging. Thank-you.
mariomax
Thank-you to all positive serious longs! In tough times with the stock deeply under-valued, you hang in there, un-shaken and not driving through the rear view mirror but looking forward to good times based on the positioning of our product/technology. namely(sting, corey,aj and sahd3g) you guys fight the good fight and I appreciate it very much. Have a great week-end everybody!
P.S. Mr. Gib I hope you turn positive while the stock is still cheap, thanks for your participation none the less, you stir the pot but sometimes that makes better gravy.
mariomax
mmxt, is available for purchase on the Frankfurt and Berlin exchanges, the Germans will enjoy the BMG story with the American tech. company, especially when things unfold!
your welcome! and have a great night! what lingo was that German maybe? I hope so, mediamax will be promoted in Germany soon!
My understanding is csn is looking great and moving along nicely with a big fat positive twist to it! I'll keep you informed as it all begins. thanks again.
