HD, approximately what percentage of shares did his sale represent?
I do not question the timing or whether Joe sold based upon any inside info. My issue is with having someone at his level with such a heavily devested "level of interest" in the company.
Understood. I would think that any type of milestone that he would achieve and be rewarded for with options would be tied to making the win public. Also, I still think I feel the same way in that I would prefer to have everyone in the C-Suite committed and bullish about the long term value of the company enough to not want to sell a large chunk of their stock position.
Anyone have thoughts about a shareholder grassroots push to address these kinds of volume sales with officers of the company? What I mean is that if he does not trust the long term value of the stock enough to hold onto a large percentage of it, is he the right guy to keep onboard? Actions speak louder than words Joe.
We keep hearing it but don't see any results other than wiped phones with incriminating texts
Back to my initial question. Do you believe that the buyout price will be a multiple of 2 times peak sales?
Once they reach those sales levels? Absolutely. Buying your shares at that number now well they're available on the market at current prices? It appears that your logic remains consistent...
So if I follow your math correctly, that would result in a buyout price of roughly 2 times peak sales? You may need to alter your numbers and narrative once again.
So does that mean that your BO price calculation is off by a multiple of 10 as well?
RF and BW, I like to read all info. BB has been positive as well as very negative on AMRN at times over the past 7+ years. I just notice that some parties are strongly bent on direction and in this case noticed that BW did not seem to post other than negative news and specifically in response to BB. Just an observation that provokes my question about personal intent and whether it is for the overall good of the board.
Just went back and looked at your past 12-15 posts. Kind of scratching my head why you are on this chatroom. Seems your only purpose is to refute anything positive posted by BB. True or what is your purpose in spending time and posted on here negatively so much?
From a pragmatic point of view, with the well placed journalists that have affected the stock price over the years by writing inaccurate hit pieces, how much more accurate would the story today have to be and difficult to be fabricated as the previous the negative ones? I understand that the share volume was substantial today. I also know that greed is a powerful thing when mixed in at the right time and could potentially push dollars in that would not normally act on something like this. I want to believe that this is the start of a protracted price increase, I just want to keep a level head. Do we have more reliable sources tied to this story than the hit pieces in the past?
or FFS may come back 2 or 3 days from now and say that his charts told him to sell if we see the price go down in between now and then...
The quality of a person's character shines through in times like this.
How does his opinion of expanded label and corresponding increased revenues/profits leading to higher share price make your point?
I count myself lucky that I am not in a foxhole with some here. We face some adversity and the sky is falling. Come on, each of us that have held a position in Amarin for a while has been thru the ringer but we have been rewarded with a healthy price increase, our hopes have been scientifically validated and we are now going thru the process of how sausage is made. I too wish that this would be a steady March to $50 by early next year but I also did not wish for an "opportunity" to buy in the low $1's. You can go back and look at a few of my hopeless posts at that time. It's easy to be grumpy and wish that I would have sold a good portion of my position in the $20's and look at an opportunity to buy back in the low to mid teens now but I did not want to realize capital gains in 2018. Oh well.... The product works, the market will grow and in the end, we will all feel ok just like we do now as we look back at the price in late 2014. Dont spend any time looking at a 1 month chart, focus more on a 5 year chart as we finish out 2018 and have faith that some day you will look back at the price in late 2018 and wish you would have bought shares. As I look at the calendar, Elf you dont have any time to spend doing anything but load the sleigh and spread some cheer. Merry Christmas to all and (hopefully) to all a good night!
Some irrelevant award that is meaning glass while they gain higher viewership from parties like us and in the process gain the ability to commercialize (profit) the higher number of visits to their website. I see your thinking, I just think it plays into their hands a bit more than vice versa.
Why are you encouraging us to drive website visits up for this entity that employs 2 of the largest enemies of Amarin?
Kids, let's take a breath. At this rate we may need to have a boxing ring at the Vegas event. While watching an elf box a fish sounds interesting... let's go to our neutral corners and remember what the common goal is and the progress we have made towards that.
You are a cold human being
Hmmm, what price did your order fill at?
Dan/Boston any option opportunities that look attractive in light of this pullback?
I can't remember if the board thinks this is better than Pharmepa Restore and why. Anyone?
Your call. Just thought it would be interesting for everyone to understand the compliance concern topic so we could gauge for ourselves regarding the probability of validity of their concern vs. nefarious intentions.
Can you expound on what he referenced regarding compliance issues?
If their agenda is right and true then why would they respond to their accusers in a less than above board manner? Them responding to their critics in a way like what you suggest would be further evidence of their true intentions.
This has been a pressure cooker for a long time now and many are "over-invested" in this stock and this combination can cause manic reactions in some. It's tough to walk away from the board but a few days but I encourage everyone to do it once in a while. Might be the break and recalibration that is helpful/necessary once in a while.
The stock price is only up 500+ percent in the last month and a 1/2…
Is it public disclosure info to find out who started this process with this firm?
What do you base this on?
There are a lot of battle scars from the past 7 years. I think this group has the ability to hug it out.

Just got on as well
Riddle me this ya elf...
With a jump next week will you roll these into longer term options or hold them for a few weeks?
Jump in, the water's great. Disregard those fins... :)
Rest of my order just filled. We shall see...
Grabbed a few at $1.96. Was hoping for a larger slide in price but have a partial fill still open
Did you execute on buying Jan $30's?
Chill
How does Michael Phelps ever find a car that fits him to spend his millions on. That dude has a very long upper torso and stubs for legs... :)
Seems like you might be making a number of assumptions to get to that conclusion with the limited scope of information you have. I tend to defend that that have been good to me and as on this morning that measure is over $12M of good. JL, feel free to be flippant...
