Here's the deal about Davies/Johnston:
--Company had nothing to do with these reports of their murder imo
--It would not benefit the company in any way to falsify a report such as this
--It's not SRGE's fault that some idiot called a "newspaper" in Mexico and the paper ran with it
--There is a good chance this was all perpetrated by holders of short positions (imo) since this type of "news" would be harmful to the company and call into question their viability
--Company is trying to get a deal done.....that is where they are focused and they have nothing to report until it is a DONE DEAL imo
Financial Statements don't matter if a PRIVATE COMPANY is acquiring SRGE. It's on the PRIVATE COMPANY to perform their Due Diligence.
Attorney Letter is a moot point as well.
tob999, anything to get us out of the Grey Market (new shares, Liquidating Dividend, etc.) would be greatly appreciated !!!
Seriously, everyone should take a break from this board, enjoy the weekend and come back on Monday evening...at least that's what I am going to do.
Go SRGE! (Sierra World Equity talked about "Market Manipulation" of SRGE....?)
I don't like 3-Day weekends...too much time in between trading.
For all those beating up on SRGE, you can give it a rest for a few days....the Market is closed on Monday.
If SRGE's assets were sold for cash..SRGE would have the cash. And then, declare a Liquidating Dividend imo.
But, who knows how the transaction is structured. And, who knows if cash is even involved.
energy wave, you brought up something I had not considered regarding the Date of Record.
I was planning on buying some more shares on Tuesday. Would I be buying shares in a company that had just sold its assets and was planning on distributing the proceeds? Hadn't thought about that before..................
robygg, I agree. I was pretty bummed out when I saw the article last evening...but others here have made some good points about the reporter apparently being fed info.
Looking for SRGE update. MoMo, once you have recovered from last night's festivities with the Twins.....please post your thoughts here Bud. Thanks.
I just re-read the Dallas Morning News article......It appears that the reporter was contacted by someone on this board and the reporter pretty much just published what this poster told him.
Not good reporting imo.
sidedraft, thank you for the response.
The link you posted is trying to sell me something. Thanks.
What is this? http://minerasanjorge.com/
UPDATED AND CURRENT PUBLIC RECORDS WILL BE UPLOADED SOON
IF YOU ARE OR HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH AND AFFECTED BY MINERA SAN JORGE, PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON.
WE ARE WORKING DILIGENTLY TO GET EVERYONE UP TO DATE.
Wow, this board is inactive...just like SSTY
Thanks, missed that part.
It has been posted here for months that the Dallas address that SRGE is using is a Virtual Office. Guess What??? You are right, it is.
Google that address and Suite # and you'll find many companies/self-employed people use that address.
So, It's no wonder that they could not find SRGE there.
Why didn't the Dallas Morning News contact the Lessor/Operator of the Building?
From 8/31/12 Financial Statements Re: Office Lease
6.
Commitments and Contractual Obligations
The Company leased an executive office in Dallas, Texas. The lease term is three years commencing January 1, 2009 with the base rent in the first year is $16,870. The lease can continue on a month-to-month basis at the end of the term. The Company believes that its office space and facilities are sufficient to meet its present needs and does not anticipate any difficulty securing alternative or additional space, as needed, on terms acceptable to the Company.
SRGE needs to respond to this Dallas Morning News Article.
MoMo, can you please break away from the Twins long enough to comment on this Dallas Morning News article? Thanks.
Why didn't the Dallas Morning News reporters make inquiries of the Company that is apparently buying SRGE's assets?
Interesting post from a few months back about our buyer..
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=80815503
MoMo knows people in that area...including police who escorted him on his tour. Somebody is lying......and it is NOT MoMoRaptor!
imo....
I'm two steps ahead of you on that one...I'm working on it..lol
MoMo, I was thinking the same thing....the investigation is probably intense at this moment..and it's not wise to make any comments or confirm anything at this time.
MoMo, Welcome back from your ban.....MEGA NEWS any minute??? Or, do I have time to buy SRGE tomorrow?
What's your take?
Thanks
MoMo, Exactly! U.S. Consulate has nothing to do with it...imo
I am extremely bullish on SRGE and hope to pick up a few more shares tomorrow (if it's not too late)......but I have to tell you that the above post made me laugh very hard....
Take it easy on us Longs cyberbullymouse...lol
Wow! First volume of year = 2,250,000 shares in a single transaction.
Interesting.
Is this a purchase or sale?
Guys, the $.20 per share dividend you guys have been talking about regarding the sale of Cinco Minas was based on two factors:
1. The company selling Cinco Minas for between $500 Million and $600 Million, and
2. The company distributing 20 to 25% of the sales proceeds for the $.20 dividend. The company wanted the remaining funds to acquire new mining sites, etc.
If the company is liquidating its assets and sells Cinco Minas (not to mention their other properties) for these same amounts...you are looking at more like $1.00 to $2.00 per share.
It's all in the PR back in Nov 2011.
And, it sounds like they are selling more than just Cinco Minas (all mining properties)
It looks to me like a private Mexican company acquired SRGE's assets.....what am I missing here?
How is the link you posted relevant to SRGE?
Foghorn, how do you get to Yamana.?..I don't see them in the PR.
All I said is that maybe he was unmarried.
MOMORAPTOR!!!! WHERE IS THE BIG-BOY NYSE CORP!!????
MOMORAPTOR!!!! WHERE ARE THE ASIANS!!????
Looking forward to the details of this.....at least the private company comes up on a Google Search.
Since they are a Private Company....we don't know how much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ dinero they have.
I wonder if one of the Sexy Mexicans on the Board of Directors sold the company to a buddy down there in Mexico?
MO-MO-RAPTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS GOING DOWN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???
Not a big boy & not Asian.
Maybe we now know why Michael Davies was keeping such a low profile. Maybe he knew his life could be in danger.
