This was interesting, sorry I didn't reply earlier. What a painful weekend of football, I was rooting for Denver, too. Rough.
Also, the cancellation of the reverse split, not too surprised here. It doesn't make sense financially for them to go through with it. Already have plenty of debt to pay off, but the financing helps.
What do you guys think?
Actually, double from around 3 months ago. I don't see it moving much until the 10-K, but with good results, I'm not worried about big chunks of shares. When it was trading around .40, there were a few chunks traded.
For real, I am watching a few that I wish would follow this correction... alas when there are no sellers.
I'm watching all your guys, I think people aren't willing to deal in the short term with the illiquidity, but any development and any of them will double in a day as people chase your suggestions.
Yeah just saw that, I think basically they just overstepped their boundaries and exaggerated who those guys were. They were early investors, not founders. Doesn't mean that what they are doing with the company is any less legit, but it certainly kills the momentum that the PR brought.
I was in a little at .06, out a bit higher, nothing exciting. Without that unfortunate development, that was a great find. Would have been a good week run, probably.
I think you are right about the LVVV share structure. The valuation isn't outrageous at these levels. I might look to try a trade. Out of all MJ stocks I have seen, this one makes the most sense. They already have a real product in production, which is nice to see.
Damn SING is really running.
Good play. Everything is momo right now, ugh.
At least it seems that LVWD is finally starting to get some upward momentum. Actual value.
I think there are probably a few of them. Good to see some upward momentum. I think we see it creep back to around .30.
Positive results or news would really send this higher.
So that has been you over the last few months nibbling around .2, I was looking for a correction to around .18, but it never came.
I think it's a good bet, its surprising to me that an established, profitable company with an impressive client list in such a hot space has puttered around this valuation for so long. People were worried about the loss of Ebay, but it had such a minor impact.
I don't think it will take much to bring it back around .30, but there is a lot of upside with good news or press.
Thanks for letting me know what I have to beat! ;)
Kiidddinggg, but if the market keeps correcting, we may see some .60s.
Seychelle East has some more updates, more looks at the retail packaging of some new products. Also, that guy, Jason, seems to have finished his bike riding around the world with a Seychelle bottle. Cool stuff.

I know the point is moot now, but here is the full commission report:
https://www.supportthevoter.gov/files/2014/01/Amer-Voting-Exper-final-draft-01-09-14-508.pdf
It discusses the impending voting machine crisis.
Also, Marion county tabled their plans to buy new machines:
http://www.indystar.com/article/20140122/NEWS05/301220024/Marion-County-holds-off-voting-machine-upgrade
I think this would have been a huge winner over the next few years, it's obvious why they would want full ownership right now. Such a cheap buyout.
Ask is pretty thin, too.
Well cheers, and to whoever the buyer was. Now we have someone with 200 shares bringing it down.
This stock sure trades strangely. I watched it stay in a 2% range for a full month with hundreds of thousands of shares traded, now this.
JGPK.. $2.00 … alright then. Actually sold 500.
I suppose I'll take it. Raise the ask, then, eh?
Yeah, it was trading strangely for such a long time. 100k shares would be traded at .40 with no movement. I definitely didn't pick up as much as I should have.
If this is happening now, It's going to be quite the ride if Q4 is blowout.
Speaking of $1.00…. JGPK Bid: 1.00 Ask 2.00
Ask flashed 6.00 briefly.
I did say it was thin!
Yep, and it's already a good run here in the past month, but I think I'm going to hold everything for the upcoming 10-K, unless we see $1.00 Seasonality doesn't seem to be always priced in to the small and thinly traded, and I'm guessing that this 4Q is going to be another record. Q3 already saw record net income, and Q4 is by far their biggest quarter.
Definitely some other eyes on it now, there has been very few sales to the bid, and the ask is quite thin. Looking very good.
I agree, the volume and liquidity has really picked up back to 2011 levels, the difference being that a lot more of the float is locked up now, we have a ton more cash and equity, and we are about to see more international distribution.
So likely won't see a large correction, but I'll be here if it happens!
I was surprised by the YoY drop in revs, but such is life if you make high enough quality pallets that you don't need to replace them all the time.
I did notice the increased inventory. While on it's own isn't inherently a good thing, I agree that that is the implication.
More than the immediate effect of the added business with Busch, clearly the industry recognition is picking up. I anticipate that we will see a step towards the resolution of the reverse split deal soon, an update is overdue. Holding and watching.
More huge consolidation volume around .80. This is already the second highest volume week in the past 2 years.
I think some larger players buying in right now. I was expecting (and hoping for) a larger correction after the 10-Q. I want cheap shares!
Not very much really. People probably expected a bigger Q3, nbd. Little movement with yet another day of huge volume, weak hands selling and profit taking.
Seeing a bit of selling possibly from people expecting a better Q3, hopefully we see .60s for a good buying opportunity. 2014 should be an exciting year for Seychelle.
More new distributors, Hawaii, Mexico. Also, heard the mention of the hot water filter technology and other new stuff that was posted to the Seychelle East Facebook page. He is spending a lot of time over in Asia, it seems. Good stuff.
Also, the PR showed up immediately in TD this time, actually from two separate sources, which is nice to see. I think Jim Place finally got to the bottom of the problem and fixed it.
Seychelle Reports Earnings Increased 18% for Third Qtr ended 11-30-13 Vs Prior Year which is the 3rd Consecutive Qtr with Multiple Digit Gains Vs Prior Year
9:06a ET January 15, 2014 (Business Wire)
Seychelle Water Filtration Products, a DBA of Seychelle Environmental Technologies, Inc. (Seychelle) (OTCQB: SYEV), a worldwide leader in the development, assembly and sale of proprietary portable water filtration bottles made several announcements today relating to its most recent fiscal quarter's end. For the Third Quarter ended November 30, 2013, Revenue was $1,197,653 compared to $1,161,785 in the prior year, an increase of $35,868 (+3.1%). In addition, Net Income after taxes of $197,415 was an increase of $30,319 (+18.1%) compared to the prior year's Net Income after taxes of $167,096.
In addition, the Company reported that sales revenue for the first nine months of the fiscal year ended November 30, 2013 was $3,860,657 compared to $2,779,604 in the prior year, up $1,081,053 (+38.9%). Net Income after income taxes was $480,503 for the same period and was up $407,112 (+554.7%) versus prior year Net Income of $73,391 or 5 times the Net Income over prior year.
Carl Palmer, President, Founder and Chairman stated that, "We are pleased to announce that both revenues and earnings are up for the third consecutive quarter with sales showing double digit gains versus prior year while earnings generated 5 times or greater digit gains versus prior year with higher margin products." Mr. Palmer went on to say that, "I am just completing my fourth trip to China and Hong Kong in the last 3 months, meeting with new and existing Distributors. We have been involved in sales force training meetings and market strategy planning as well as taking orders for initial distribution. I have also sourced several new product ideas that have the potential as well as the capability of being sold not only in Asia but North America as well. We hope to introduce them to the marketplace within the next 90 days." Mr. Palmer added that, "We believe that demand for pure water in China is especially high, and Seychelle is looking into the possibility of establishing an assembly operation in South China to handle the anticipated sales volume."
Dick Parsons, Chief Executive Officer, announced that, "As a result of our successful 20oz sports bottle test marketing program, we are launching two new initiatives. First, we plan to appoint a new Distributor in January for Hawaii, Guam and Micronesia to handle our RAD/Advanced 20oz Sports Bottle sales. We have developed attractive retail packaging and plan to target the estimated 1.5 million Japanese tourists who come to the Islands every year. The attractive retail package has some Japanese language on it, and the marketing program includes local street car advertising in Waikiki. Our strategy is for tourists from Japan as well as China, Philippines and South Korea to take the bottles back to their country thus potentially interesting retailers to contact us while we are setting up sales and distribution programs in those countries." Second, Mr. Parsons added that, "We are meeting with a large, potential Distributor from Mexico who has widespread distribution. Mexico is the second largest pure water market in the world. Our strategy is to penetrate the market with advanced filtration products for the outdoor, military, government and tourist markets as well as the drinking water market with our 20oz Sports Bottle. Initial meetings are targeted to commence within the next few weeks."
With Seychelle portable water filtration, consumers can drink, with complete confidence, perfectly filtered water that is great-tasting from a variety of sources - the tap, rivers, streams, ponds or creeks. The regular filter works for water from the tap while the standard and advanced filters are needed for most outdoor uses. The proprietary Seychelle Ionic Adsorption Micron Filtration (IAMF) has been tested extensively by Independent Government Laboratories in the US and throughout the world to strict EPA/ANSI protocols and NSF Standards 42 and 53 by Broward Testing Laboratories.

That fully diluted number has been known for the past 2 years. That is accounting for the matured warrants in the compensation package from 2012. They haven't exercised any thus far, however. Seychelle management doesn't dilute, check the last 5 years. That is a fully legitimate, albeit generous stock compensation package for directors.
I'd say they deserve it, though.
SYEV.. $0.82 10-Q is out, mid week surprisingly, not the usual week end.
Revenue is lower than I expected, judging by the PR early in the quarter, but again, the increase in sales from the expanded distribution won't be until Q4. Book value at another all time high, margins in-line.
Tomorrow we should see an accompanying PR, here's to some quality new info!
Volume has been way up over the past few weeks, people buying large chunks
If you feel like you need to take time to accumulate it first without moving it significantly, waiting would probably be fine with everyone. Imo.
Always like to read the insights, I'm good either way
Read my mind
I expect that we should see an update pretty soon on the split and dealing with the SEC. I'm in either way it swings. I'm guessing if they call it off we will see some arbitrageurs bailing out.
I don't have a subscription, so I can't PM. Made an email, though. zachbuffett.ihub@gmail.com
Ah thank you, will do. Didn't realize that one wasn't premium.
I can relate, I was holding off when it was trading heavily around .40 a while back, spooked by the big sellers. I thought I'd get another opportunity in the .30s, but it never happened. I still don't have as much as I'd like, but at least I'm comfortable holding all of them for the time being.
By the way, if you haven't seen this from SRMC, they have a series of videos on youtube. I particularly like this one from the '90s:
Btw, can't post to your trading account, but I've been buying SRMC the past few months, too. Love the earnings growth and the bonus dividend. They are really compensating the new guy, but thats how you retain talent, I suppose.
Also, you were gifted a chunk of JGPK at .32 not too long ago, weren't you. I was really jealous.
I had two accounts for a long time, my main on TD and a small secondary on eTrade. I always preferred Ameritrade's format and tools but I liked having some division of funds.
I had completely unacceptable trading issues with eTrade and immediately consolidated into TD. Never looked back.
I started out on Ameritrade, so I'm definitely biased, but I've never had trading problems with them. Knock on wood.
Then again, some stocks are inexplicably restricted on Ameritrade, too. Brokers aren't perfect, yet.
Yep, most likely after hours on Friday, historically. Could be earlier, though. Definitely after hours.
I'm hoping for 2mil+ revs, 350k income, but it's really the 4th quarter that's going to start being bigger. Actually, expenses could be higher this quarter, gearing up for expanded distribution.
Really just looking for the same direction from the accompanying PR. We shall see.
Yep, there are risks down here that are merely because of size and lack of exchange, compounding normal risks of a business, much less a small business. Higher potential rewards, at a cost.
I guess I should also factor in that my portfolio is assuredly smaller than others here. That is a limiting factor for diversification.
You pick winners a vast majority of the time, you can't beat yourself up about a single loser. I enjoy following your picks even if I don't buy them, because so many are so good.
Thanks for not making this board subscribers only, btw. Every so often I want to post something on the VMC, but I'm just not willing to subscribe. Maybe I'm cheap.
This is a really good overview.
Just to add my .02, I personally don't diversify as much as you say. I usually have around 5, and never more than 10, but I do miss out on a lot.
I never put a significant amount of money into a stock unless I feel really good about it. I might throw a little in a play if everyone else is on top of it, just to ride along. Most of the time, however, I need to feel personally like it is a good play. When I stray from this, it doesn't seem to work out well.
I also put a much higher percentage into companies I truly believe in and hold them for much longer term, like SYEV over the past few years. I trade a bit of my position as they inevitably fluctuate like OTCs do, but I always keep a portion of stock for the long term. I like to own stocks that I don't care if they go down in the short term. It's even better if I am hoping that they fall just to increase my position.
I'll sell quickly if something doesn't seem right, but it takes a lot more for me to buy. I follow a lot of stocks mentioned here, but I usually don't buy them unless I came across them independently first, or I at least feel like I would have loved them had I come across it independently.
Like I said, I do miss out on a lot that other people hit on, but I'm comfortable missing out, it doesn't bother me nearly as much as losing money on a play.
Other than that I am with you.
I'm not as experienced as the rest on this board, and potentially not as successful, but that is my perspective.
Also, with CTDH, revs were much lower QoQ, when people were hoping for more growth. Also, they don't release official PRs so the stock gets no love. It could be a good play in the .07s at this point, though. A good quarter would put it back up to .1. I like it personally, because you don't have to worry about it losing a ton of money. I try to only play companies that aren't in danger of bankruptcy.
Yeah, they have customers with seasonal sales, so 4Q is definitely the biggest. Other than that anomaly, QoQ revs are growing, too.
Q1: 10.3 mil Q2: 10.7 mil Q3: 11.3 mil
I expect to see Q4 over 13 mil honestly, relative to last year.
JGPK Actually, sales aren't flat at all. Q4 is by far the largest quarter, and Q3 of this year matched Q4 of last year. YoY Q3 saw rev growth of like 30%
Fiscal 2012 FY Rev was 38 million, and this year is well on pace for 45+. This wasn't actually an earnings growth play for me, it was revenue growth, plus the fact that it is just undervalued in general. 10 million cap trading at .25 to sales with growing income, seems discounted to me.
Honestly, the volume traded around .40 was strange, days with $100k volume and no movement.
JGPK is finally making a run. It has traded very strangely in the past, but the large sellers seem to be gone now.
They really timed it right too, this would have run much higher in the coming months IMO.
At least wish this would have happened a week or so from now. I still had orders in for more.
