Turn Positive question...I think for him to turn positive
would be if the company gave a dividend of $100 for anyone
that has 100 shares of the company.
I know that would satisfy me and make me extremely happy. Than
for sure we could all go onto seventh level (heaven) for a cruise
on my favorite vessel.
correct... and fixed now try...sorry.

Seems like trading was halted
maybe, level II shows, 2:03:54 as the last time traded...how about you?
I agree with you on the "don't use stop loss orders" For those
not aware of what happens with the stop loss.
"Stop Loss" becomes a market order when the price is triggered.
Careful with those orders on ALL stocks and for sure with the
pennies.
Since I watch the market daily/by the hour... I never use
"stop loss orders". What you will also see when a stock
price plunges, you will also get the "dead cat bounce"
Another thing to be careful of especially with the pennies.
Crawford Thanks for this post...I sent it on to my friend and
his wife. He has had MacD for quite a few years now and I thought
he might just try the clinical trials and see if he could
get accepted.
correction noted...thanks ... first mistake that I have
made in my life... lol
"homes..10"... I agree that the RS is not really necessary, however in order to get listed on Nasdq one of requirements is for
the price of the stock to be at or above a certain price
range. That would make it more acceptable and what everyone
is hoping for. For the company to be recognizable it would
be much better to be listed on one of the exchanges.
And another requirement is to have revenue, which as yet this
company doesn't have any.
There are many companies that dont go that route and continue in
business still listed on the OTC. And listing is fairly expensive
for a company as there are other requirements to be met once
listed.
Stanzair welcome to the iHub board
And if you are going to post pictures of ships...let it be
"the Allure of the Seas" lol , where we could all meet and enjoy
a few bubblies and meal compliments of ACTC.
BIO/CEO/Invstr Conf 2014,Feb 10-11 Tues, 2/11, 1:30 pm for ACTC
I guess that is 1:30pm EST
ACTc home page had a link to the webcast of last year's presentation. The webcast should be available this year as well.
Conference is February 10-11 at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in NYC.
Registration: $2,795 (non-member)
I think the free webcast(s) will do just fine

re the patents
Advanced Cell Technology, Marlborough, Mass., has been assigned a patent (8,642,328) developed by Robert Lanza
The patents belong to ACTC.. Another reason why I believe
that Dr. Lanza isn't going anywhere. Yes he developed them
while in the employ of ACTC, but the patents were assigned to
ACTC. You want to use them or the procedures - pay a royalty.
could be a good revenue stream for ACTC...
I have seen this before with a company. Big company tried
to copy a machine (siemens) but they backed off with a small
letter from attorneys.
ACTC PRESS CONFERENCE WITH MEDIA SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEK,
I WONDER WHAT THE ANNOUNCEMENT IS?
Media from all over the world be here to cover this event, it is indeed historical!
post from another board
Chuck - I second that as I have a friend with macD and it
is a terrible disease to lose ones eyesight. You don't know
what it is like until you see what a person goes through
in order to do what came naturally before.
That is what I am hoping for and I try and keep him informed
of what is going on with these procedures.
Thanks for the explanation and for expanding on that.
much appreciated.
A record for this board...Almost 30 posts and not evenone
deleted and not even one post/picture of sinking ship.
Now we can see it can be done and hopefully that it could
continue. The rest is just nonsense. Adults acting like
adults in relation to a very important subject that everyone
can relate to - making money. Keep up the good work people.
sorry I missed one xx100. was deleted. but anyway it is
still appreciated that the nonsense is virtually non-existent.
any more Ayes ... Lol
Placebo effect....I don't know why that was even brought up
in regards to this procedure.
when testing drugs for ailment, some get actual drug and some
get placebo and sometimes the people who got the placebo
claim to feel better.
But with eyesight??? either you can see or not...No placebo
is going to make you see the bottom lines of a chart when
checking eyes.
Either you can see the lines or not....No placebo is going
to even come close to make you see the bottom lines.
ACTC RUNNING OUT OF CASH?
I think because they spent too much time and money on sinking
ships, instead of doing some thorough research.
Yes I think it is known as accumulation phase.
Quite possible that is happening as we speak.
And DDLS...thanks for driving the price down today
so that I was able to get it at a lower price than it is
trading at up to the close.
I will try and buy some more on Friday...I will let you know
and maybe you can really get busy and post more than the usual
number of posts of sinking ships.
I am trying to accumulate as much as you Ecat. (well done)..
in the article do they show sinking ships
along with the important details?
yes guy3, I did the same. I added today in spite of the
sinking ship annoying posts.
new investors...I passed the story on to some of my
friends. Not saying they should buy ACTC. But just
telling about what they were working on...They told me
together that they think it should be bought and indicated
that they bought some.
great minds think alike.
When someone posted the url for NEJM I went there to check to
see if there was any article about stem cells and there
wasn't anything listed.
Just article on sinking ships and how wrong it is for people
to constantly harp on this as if it was chronic illness.
Unfortunately they don't offer a cure.
Totally disagree...Havent yet seen (all my life) that someone
wouldn't want scientists to succeed especially in this
regard that would save peoples sight.
Just bot another 5k @.086
sure beats buying a ticket on a sinking ship...Lol
feels like passage on "the Allure of the Seas"
Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me.
Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 29 Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, 30 Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.
I don't see that he would have been better off with a German
Shepherd.
My guess is you probably bot a lot higher e.g. in the 0.20's
The anger that you show towards this company and towards a doctor
who is devoting most of his life for the good of mankind, seems
to be a learned tendency to show retaliation.
Instead, I would average down in buying the stock and recover
what is lost, and even make some gains on the news forthcoming.
That is how the market works.
Pardon my ignorance, but I don't know the difference between
sarcasm and truthful posts.
If that is an example of the trustworthiness of his posts,
the rest of his posts fall in the same category.
Personally I wouldn't believe/follow any of his ramblings.
what would make someone post pictures of sinking ships and
buy 100,000 shares @ .096..I don't believe it.
Oh you too, both you and I did the same trades...
how interesting that two people on this board have the
same thinking about trading..
congrats...
A doctor that is working on saving peoples sight and
could be up for a Nobel prize....an SOB
Got to be the most ridiculous post that I have ever seen on
any stock MB or for that matter on any board.
Just shows the mentality of the poster.
and where are the moderators in this regard?
asleep at the wheel?
and near the end of the article...
My instinct is this. ACTC is about to get bestowed upon them one of the greatest allowances in FDA prizes... BREAKTHROUGH STATUS. That is: Section 902 of the FDASIA articulates two general criteria according to which the FDA may designate an investigational drug as a breakthrough therapy. First, this designation can be applied only within the context of a "serious or life-threatening disease or condition." Second, it must be predicated on "preliminary clinical evidence indicat[ing] that the drug may demonstrate substantial improvement over existing therapies on 1 or more clinically significant endpoints." The FDA has interpreted the second criterion to mean that data from studies in animals or conducted in vitro showing that a drug has promise are not sufficient to justify this designation; data from clinical trials in humans are needed.(1)
Funny the article doesn't say anything about sinking ships
Yesterday's 60 minute stem cell program on Science channel with Stephen Hawking was fascinating. Dr. Lanza was the first person profiled and he and 4 or so others were all fantastic. One takeaway was that ACTC seems to be the only one very close to commercializing a treatment, and the others are mostly doing basic research. Amazing, but not ready to commercialize. Imagine how the press will eat this up if and when ACTC can provide promising results of its trials!

Plus - I think the show was taped back in October 2013..
Nothing new here but might me something new in NEJM on
Thursday
NOW.......where is that picture of the
sinking ship...lol lol
TV show and 2 posts from another MB (uncensored Lol)
Robert Lanza opened the program with his take on stem cells. Vision therapy was mentioned and his (Lanza's) take on stem cells. Several other scientists had their part as well and different views on stem cells were explored.
I thought it very important that Lanza was first and was positioned as one of the world's foremost authorities.
Again, a very interesting and informative program...Folks, stem cell therapy is the future!!
Changing my sentiment from BUY to STRONG BUY....
I loved the program and was struck by the fact that even though many aspects of stem cell work were discussed, Lanza's work (ACTC's) was seemingly the only work that has the potential to get to the market in the near future. All the scientists came across well, but Lanza came first and did a great job.
It looks as though previous shows are available on-line once
the shows have been on TV.
I tried the science channel hoping that they would be showing
it at the same time on-line as on tv but no go..
So you/I will have to check
http://www.sciencechannel.com/
and see if the video is available some time after tomorrow
and after tonights replay at 1:00am
also it might just be available on www.youtube.com later.
