You truly think they did this to dump shares worth a slice of $55k??!! That's ridiculous.
That's a big IF that Truth!
Deeply hurt
Ha ha touché!
I'd like him to educate me on how to do it also
I'm in a similar situation Lebbe. My broker refuses to deal with residents of Vietnam so my account is effectively on hold. I can sell but can't buy and can only do so over the phone so trading is not an option for me.
Until I get to my new location and can prove my residence, I'm hamstrung by their restrictions.
The crazy thing is, once I get to Saudi Arabia, they are happy to deal with me and any other Saudi residents!!!!
I'm honestly not sure if the money is a big enough driver for Kim tbh.
He's already worth as much money as he could spend and the company is in its infancy.
Added to that I think he has a decent sized ego to be honest and I think he wants to be the one who gets the recognition and kudos for building one of the biggest success companies to make it out of the pink sheets :)
Live and learn what? How about you educate us all what you believe you know?
Love HOD finishes!
Well if they are talking about having it ready in 2 weeks, surely this implies it's a facility that has already been used in a similar manner??
Ha ha touché
I'm with you, I thought it was pretty well written. Certainly a massive upgrade from some previous PRs.
Funny, you see it like that. I on the other hand see this as the most honest, forthright ass whooping statement/PR that the company has ever produced. Funny how different people's minds work in such different ways, sure glad I've got mine and grateful I haven't got a mind like some.
Any idea what CRF means Truth?
Message from Ben after I queried that page. More than satisfied with his response, somewhat flattered that somebody has taken the time to produce something like this. Somebody who obviously values their spare time much less than me!:

Hi XXXX,
I guess that some funny guy published that to intentionally hurt the Company and they even went with the obviously fake poor English. Unfortunately, that's not the first time that saboteurs have played dirty with Kraig. It may mean that somebody is getting very nervous about Kraig's upcoming milestones.
Best regards,

This post needs to be stickied, brilliant. Props to glb2
I'm not too worried about GMO opposition in USA, after all about 40% of the worlds GM crops are grown in the USA, biggest producer in the world!
Knowing Vietnam like I do, the problem could well be more to do with kickbacks, under the guise of regulatory issues.
I.e if you don't line this persons pocket, there may be a (unlimited) 'delay' in getting approval. I'm sure Kim knows the Foreign and Corrupt Practices Act and would be very reluctant to line somebody's pockets illegally. Setting up a USA subsidiary could be a good move if only to 'call their bluff'. Often the strength of the corrupt comes from them believing that THEY are your only option. Illustrating that this is not the case can often be the catalyst to getting it approved. It's all about somebody big enough (VN government) pulling rank and pushing it through (without it definitely reduced kickbacks).
Don't spread lies spill, that's not what it said.
It's because Randy 'fame-whore 'Lewis is the goat herder.
Translation I may be able to help with, send me the links and I'll try and get an idea
Let me have a think but honestly no idea where is start with that one tbh
Errrrrrrr ask me one on sport Truth.
On the plus side, the rainy season is definitely on its way in the South. The humidity has ramped up recently and the first grey skies have appeared. If past experience is anything to go by, it will start shortly and it won't stop until around November. Plus side as far as KBLB is concerned but not a plus for me living in it!
Hello Truth,
The drought certainly is a big deal for Vietnam, the SW and Mekong region has been hit even harder than Lam Dong and the Central Provinces. The rice harvests this year have suffered greatly along with the coffee harvests and as such the prices of those commodities will rise. It's catastrophic for SE Asia in particular as there are plenty of countries this way that are reliant on Vietnam's Rice Crop. A lot of poor people will be unable to buy their usual number of sacks of rice. As for coffee, it's not a necessity like rice so no tears shed if people have an extra 10c put on their Latte every day.
As for KBLB, it's a relative non issue. We are not directly using agricultural farmland for our product. The biggest net effect will be an increase in the price of mulberry leaves due to a bum harvest. Mulberry is widely available and with the TPP there will be plenty of access to tariff free Mulberry. Although not necessarily a positive because it may result in some marginally increased operating costs, I'm not treating this as a one season investment and possibly next year there'll be a bumper harvest.
To shine a positive light (for KBLB) on a very negative thing (for Vietnam), Lam Dong will be crying out for the type of investment that KBLB is looking to provide.

Don't know if you noticed but the newsletter was sent from Jon's email address. Kim being a legal eagle wouldn't take chances like that if Jon was gone.....
Jon definitely isn't gone, personally had an email response just a week or so ago.
Top draw post es1
Can't argue with that Truth, it seems Kim's assertions that he will start to communicate better are still failing to come to fruition.
Each to their own, I'm a glass half full type of dude.
Not sure if anybody else has suggested this before but I've been thinking about the delay of the newsletter. I convinced myself that the newsletter is most likely already drafted and ready for release but Kim and Co. were waiting for the Vietnam deal to be sealed before releasing the newsletter that would contain more information about the deal therein.
Obviously that hasn't happened but I can't think of anything more logical that would explain why something as simple as a brief newsletter would be delayed so considerably. I'm thinking that Kim and Co. have something else up their sleeve (commercial deal) that is really close and will be the catalyst for releasing the newsletter. That's what I'm hoping for anyways.......
As Es1 had alluded to Bob, it hasn't stopped Apple from producing in China at all, it is a drop in the ocean to them. I think the biggest risk is the effect of sales in the Chinese market itself. Lots of Chinese copies flood the local market and don't really make it outside the country to anywhere near the same degree. You wouldn't expect it but even the Vietnamese have an inherent mistrust in Chinese goods, certainly not so for American goods regardless of country of manufacture.
Hello King, last post so can't respond until tomorrow.
FYI the number of sophisticated investors who invest on the markets is growing but definitely still limited. Another issue is with International brokers not really wanting to touch anybody in Vietnam.
If the Sub were listed on the Vietnamese exchanges then the opportunity for local investment is there. It may still be a relatively poor country but the number of millionaires grows exponentially here. I see more Bentley & Rolls Royce here than back in Liverpool which is amazing considering they are paying 65-100% import tax on such items as well as other taxes. Not unusual for somebody to blow a million bucks on a car here that may cost $400k in USA.
It's definitely a potential market of investors but not sure how KBLB would go about tapping into them.....
Not many opportunities (with regards brokers etc) to buy U.S stocks from Vietnam. I wouldn't expect much if anything from Vietnam.
'Could care less' is an idiom that seems to be used massively in USA.
Back in good old Blighty (England) we say 'couldn't care less' whereby the intended meaning is exactly how it reads.
I believe Spillmonkey's intended meaning is that Kim doesn't care.....
Hi Rayo, just a guess but I'm thinking the reason for cross breeding them is to ensure they are suitable for the environment, climate and conditions here in Vietnam. I hear that silkworms can be pretty sensitive to changes in factors such as the above so cross breeding may simply be to increase the hardiness of the worms to Vietnam.
I wouldn't be surprised if Kim and the team have tested this by hatching, spinning and reeling some MS and realised that the worms were a little bit homesick (not 100% efficient).
Agreed but I can see this surprising a few people and finishing green
Not blind, just knowledgable about the CSC deal and knowing that until we no longer require them, their continued involvement will always hurt the share price through dumping and manipulation.
Re: Dilution & selling into this news.
Hi Promaster, let's not forget that this isn't Kim selling into the news, it is CSC. Kim isn't allowed to sell straight to market as and when he pleases (without necessary paperwork at least). However he has been selling to CSC and it is up to them when they sell them. If I were running CSC and was liquid enough to do so, I would be waiting for news to sell into, plain and simple.
Let's also not forget that it is in CSC's interest to keep the share price down as the lower the average PPS, the more shares Kim needs to give away (this assumes that they hold onto them for a period).
I don't know whether you've noticed but there seems to be an extraordinary amount of paint jobs at the end of the day, most days. I think this is the result of a tug of war between CSC and somebody else who genuinely has Kraig's best interests at heart. The number of shares Kim gives away is dependant on the performance of the share price over time but specifically on the closing price each day.
It is in CSC's interests to paint it low at the end of the day. Conversely it is in KBLB's interests to paint it high at the end of the day. If I were involved in KBLB I would ensure somebody went to work on trying to paint this high as much as possible. I'd give a friend some cash and have him work on manipulating the closing share price each day.
I'm not for one second saying this is happening and I know it would be illegal but in my own head I would justify it as that I was simply re-balancing the scales of fairness, knowing that CSC are dodgy characters who love to manipulate.
Another (crackpot) theory that I have considered is whether it is possible that the CSC deal may be one of the reasons why news is sometimes delayed. If I were Kim and I knew that CSC had 20M shares to throw at the market, it would make me apprehensive to release good news in the knowledge that they would be dumping into the news. I would think about delaying selling and hazarding a guess as to when I thought they were out of shares.
All speculation but things that I would be thinking about if running KBLB.
Thanks TRUTH, no email received by me. Not in my spam either......
What is this Truth?
