Does anyone know how many pumps CRGS has? Have they tried several scales?
Hope the pump can be scaled to what ever the needs are and they have several examples to showcase.
I'm sure they have limited data. Typically from my past experience when we tested a product it took several months and numerous test pieces.
In my humble opinion, there will be no deal in the near future. I suspect they will like the pump but will request CRGS to make a number of units and put them thru a testing routine for endurance. If the pumps can hold up then we may see some movement on a deal. I'm not sure what the life cycle of a pump is?? 5000 hours, 20000 hours??? Again just my humble opinion!
No doubt the performance test will be positive. Has CRGS done any durability / reliability testing? Having worked for company that made parts for Ford, any new or modified product had to go thru extensive testing. We would make a small scale production run and test those parts thru a duty cycle and take them apart, magnaflux test each component, test the metal integrity, wear tear.... The testing would mimic the life cycle of the unit. From my past experience this could take 6 month or year (if every thing went right) to determine if the new part or modification was acceptable. I hope CRGS has some endurance data they can share.
Lets get a couple of companies involved and have a bidding war. Just my humble opinion, publishing some data may help move the deal forward.
I still don't understand why they do not post any technical data "pump" results on the web site. Just my humble opinion, If I had a better, smaller more efficient pump..I would want to get the word out.
After looking over patent in detail, it's my humble opinion the pump is good, but I fear not as good as advertised. Much like the watch..who is going to buy it? Why buy it? The patent is old wait it out. If its a major company looking at us..just steal it and lawyer it out. Keeping my fingers crossed we have a engineering and sales team that can bring something home. Again just my humble opinion.
Looks like we are doing the CRGS limbo.....how low can she go!
Any guess on where this is by Christmas?
One word..SAD!
The folks that downloaded the app, what's your feedback?
Lets agree to disagree. I've been with this company from the beginning and the old staff along new staff have failed to add stock holder value. I hope this will change in the near future. History say it will not... hoping I'm wrong and this does not belly up.
You have exposed my lack of PC correctness!
Can't justify $50K, I would can about 2/3 of the current staff. I will speculate that the 50K was the price to keep him on board. Would not look good to have your "key" people leaving the company when it should be ready to take off. In my humble opinion it appears that the folks closest to CRGS see the hand writing on the wall and are trying to jump ship...all the signs of a company in distress.
Hmmm..normal turnover or are people jumping ship?
UP 76% Go figure!
It was development agreement with BAIC..my bad!
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 28, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Richard A. Kaplan, Chief Executive Officer of Torvec, Inc. (OTCQB:TOVC), announced today that Torvec has entered into an agreement with Chinese automotive manufacturer, BAIC Motor Co., Ltd. Under the agreement, BAIC Motor Co., Ltd. will pay Torvec to manufacture a number of prototypes of its IsoTorque® differential for one of BAIC's anticipated future car models. Torvec will supply BAIC with these prototypes for its evaluation and testing.
Did we not have something like with DAIC..the Chinese car company?
The sell spree to .20 made sense to me. No revenues, product quality, burning thru cash. Once we see some sales number all can change but until then ... it "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a cheese burger today"... another oldie reference. Keeping my fingers crossed they pull a rabbit out of the hat.
It will be interesting to see how the stock reacts today. IMHO I see no uptick in price or volume. Lets hope I wrong!
Oaks today & Derby tomorrow..life is good! Be glad CRGS is not a horse or we would be making a trip to the glue factory. Got to be old to get that joke..lol.
Another mint julep please!!!!!
CURA is better? I don't know that, no data to support that. I know you think the real time monitoring is superior. The real time monitoring will depend on how accurate the system is..who would want real time monitoring if the system is only 60%-70% accurate? I hope it 99% accurate, but based on the info in the patent, using limited inputs, I find it hard to believing its all that and a bag of chips. I could be wrong, but until the company post some data we will never know. Perhaps the marketing people have done studies that companies would be willing to pay for the real time support, my guess / opinion most would opt out.
I hope you found the bottom. What were they offering the stock to preferred investors..0.25. Got to feel sorry for those folks. I hope all recover and make money in the end.
I respectfully disagree, the share price does matter along with a good balance sheet. As time passes by so does opportunity. Companies are less likely to do business with us if we are always on the verge of insolvency. Even if CRGS has the best technology, most large companies will go with CAT as they are established and most likely will still be in business years down the road.
Down to 0.25... does not look like a stock about to pop..despite insider buying.
20 years in my case = crazy. I can only blame my self.
Would not put too much faith in the short squeeze. There will be some squeeze, but most MM's will only squeeze a little as they may be on the short end one day. Just my humble opinion.
Amen Dino.. Lack up updates on progress leads one to believe there is no progress. Just my humble opinion.
It would not surprise me that Cat does not have a pump very close to ours...wink wink!
Thanks, I did not realize a publication was the same as a patent. Never too old to learn.. again thanks!
In my humble opinion I don't see any thing happening. The old saying buy on rumor and sell on news. If CRGS was close.. IMHO we should be seeing increased price and volume. Of course I could be completely wrong and the stock will skyrocket when the watch is out. Let's hope so for all the old-timers.
Can I imposed on your good nature to provide the patent number. I did a quick search for Torvec and came up empty. May not be using the search tool correctly. Many thanks in advance!
My point was not about a comparison of the two products. In my humble opinion I doubt that Cat came up with this system independently. It's my belief they saw what CRGS was doing modified it slightly and have a product to market. Same thing could happen with the pump.
I reiterate again, I could care less of any one buys, sells or hold this stock. My only agenda in posting is to represent my opinion, which happens to be one that is pessimistic instead of optimistic. Do your own DD and decide.
Glad to see they have a new patent. What an amazing coincident that Cat has developed a fatigue management watch...along with CRGS.

In my humble opinion time is running out on the pump. How old is the patent? If I were a an OEM .. why buy it when I can wait a year or two and re-patent it? If I'm a big enough OEM I just steal it outright and let CRGS fight it in court. Not very ethical but I have seen it happen too often.
Welcome G... Why stop at Kaplan? I say cut deeper.
Can't help but wonder if energy, time, effort and money spent on developing the watch would have been better spent in hiring a metallurgist and staff to correct the reliability issues with the ISO Torque?
I think the share price reflects market reality. We have a watch that may or may not work. I don't discount the many that have seen the watch. My question is how accurate is the algorithm? Is it 50% 75% or 110% accurate? Is it the same for both sexes, old vs young? In looking at the science it appears to me that a hand full of parameters are being used to come up with the numbers. My hat's off to the cat the developed the algorithm. Hopefully the Beta testing will have some result that will prove to be beneficial in touting the capabilities of the watch. My humble opinion is that data does not exist. If the beta test was going well and the product ready to launch, I would expect the volume and share price to be going up. In today connected world it very hard to keep good news under wrap.
As far as the pump goes, my humble opinion...what do we really have? No concrete data, just some charts on the web site. As I stated in earlier post, I hope the development is for one client that is getting all the data and they may be the big pay day at the end. Trying to get buy in from external investors on a pump with no data avaible will be hard, again just my humble opinion.
