So Money!!
It would bring them great exposure, and could only help us here on the ihub.
I am glad to see signs of life from others and won't poo poo that in any way. Anything helps.
As one of the official ihub AFTC board Whiners I would like to submit my formal compliant.
Why does AFTC not feel it important to post this information themselves to there home page.
This would be a great opportunity to do so.
:)
there it is! in BOLD!
I did not see there name on there. I will re read your post.
AFTC is going to be apart of this?
Here here!! Kathy is watching this blog IMHO. Hope she takes some on our constructive thoughts.
Sweet! Thanks Monda. I'm feeling like we may get some big news. Keep up the good work.
LIFE!!
45 days after then end of the 3rd quarter. Help me out folks, what day are we looking at? Thanks.
When are we to get our next update?
Unless something has changed Jim concerned they were no longer working together after Volvo used AFT pumps in there test truck. Delphi
EPA approval is very important. In the past EPA was being politically pushed to keep DME off the list for not meeting the minimum admission level (RIDICULOUS BY THE WAY!!).
Now that this is out of the way, we will start to see REAL growth IMHO.
I thought that was against the rules.
COME ON!! LETS SEE SOME LIFE ALREADY!!!!!
:)
It is nice to see you back in form dear Luna!!
So are you saying we should call our congressmen??? ;)
I can answer the last part. NO, Jim and Kathy have not addressed if they would move up.
We do know that Jim hated OTC and even went as far to let investors know via e-mail, that although he would not bail completely on OTC, that he had every right to legally, if we did not stop the constant requests for news and updates.
His largest regret with AFTC was purchasing the shell that he used to sell OTC shares publicly. He said if he had to did it over, he would have stated private.
LUNA can correct me if I missed or exaggerated an any way. She was the one that finally got Jim to open up about it.
That is true, I guess this issue I have is that I have a e-mail long ago between Jim and myself in which he stated that NG was not a good fuel for cars. He was steering clear of getting into NG because of ware and tear.
The the issue I have is I am worried that the industry is touting NG knowing all along that NG is not viable for small cars and trucks because of wear and tear. In doing this they still hold all the cards.
I know for a fact from personal friends in the industry on alt fuel scene that DME is being blocked hard by many that make clean energy rules. "Clean Energy" on the political level has always been nothing more then the government trying to take control of the industry through regulation.
There was even a push by EPA to say DME was "too clean" with a tracking of 4 and they were not going to go under a rating of 5 on there scale system. Of course this was all back yard beer conversations, so I can't point to real evidence based paper work on it. But I trust those that I was talking to.
I have worries about people thinking that this helps us. Yes DME can be REFINED from NG, but it does not happen at the pump.
NG is only our ally at the refinery not at the pump.
My understanding is that natural gas is harsh on engines, but that natural gas can be converted to DME. DME is a much better option for ware and tear. This is why AFTC's work on making pumps with the best wear and tear protection make them so important to the industry as a whole.
An change from R/D to manufacturing in itself is a BIG deal, and I think that is why I am interested too know more about this movement.
If AFTC is on the cusp of becoming its own manufacturer, then this is a game changer.
This means,
1) no impending sale of AFTC to another company.
2) as you have all pointed out, market opportunity.
Bingo! ;) Looking for signs of LIFE!!
As always, I am hopeful about AFTC.
Good things will come. But, these are the things I think about in the mean time.
I work in the medical field. The Devil is in the details.
Here is a question I think they could have addressed.
'We are currently producing 8 more variations. After these are assembled and tested, they will choose one pump for manufacture".
QUESTION:
How long does it take to test 1 pump?
Are the 8 pumps being tested simultaneously?
When do they expect to have a completion of these in house tests?
"They have been assisting us in developing quality requirements for manufacture".
QUESTION:
Is there a estimate on the length it will take AFTC to have the requirements in place to be a proper manufacturing company?
What items are not in compliance?
Where is the manufacturing going to be done?
Did you buy a new building?
What opportunities does this open for you in the future?
Even an estimate on the pump cost would be nice. I think my last calculations was about 1000 a pump.
Beautiful!! Reading it from you instead of from them is always easier to comprehend.
See that was much less garbled and to the point.
Why could it not have been that.
OK. I bow out for now. See you all in 45 days.
Unless there is mayor new!
can you expound on what you considered to be "new info"?
Thank you
Monda, I know that and you know that. But, and this is just nit picking, I feel that it is imperative that AFTC needs to spell things out now. Now more then ever.
IMPO.
But like I said, a manufacturing contract would be huge.
I think there is a lot of good in it, but mostly it was the same update as last time.
Man it was hard to read! A lot of 'they' in there without specifics on who "they" are. I assume she is speaking about the military company. If I were to present this at my job, I would be in for a ear full from my upper management. Heck it does not even have a proper greeting!! Jumps right into it. Almost felt like an ihub post ;)
Seems thrown together at the last minute.
But, I will take the good and try not to worry about the bad.
Here is hoping that we see a manufacturing contract in 45 day!
GO AFTC!!
Aw heck! why not! I have a good feeling about this week!!
What importance does that have???
Understood, and trust me, if you (Monda) were in charge of the PR of this company, the sky would be the limit.
If it is only at .10 in 6 years, that is way under my expectations for what this should be at. If we get the right management team doing things the right way, we are at a buck. That is just how I feel.
I hate to see this company working for a dime, when it has the opportunity to be at a buck. JMHO
I hear you, and please understand I am for AFTC, but someone has to be the counter point.
Am I getting impatient? YES! It has been 6 years and I am in the hole 9000, not to mention all the folks that bought in because of my resounding endearment of the company.
Am I a quick flipper. NO. I have not sold a single share that I have bought.
I totally agree, she can take her sweet time. That was my point to begin with. Hard dates such as 8/14 are meaningless with AFTC, we will get news when we get it.
However, I find it hard to believe that there are not more folks interested in seeing a CEO be true to there promise, should the make one.
either way.
Rah Rah AFTC!!
im not concerned about it in the least. I just new that it would be late. It will always be late.
How did you know I am bald!!
:)
I used to make excuses for Jim, go all the way back and see the posts if you like, AFTC has never been on time with a statement.
Again I ask, who is keeping this company accountable to the share holders.
Well, I am going to call it a no go for today. Maybe tomorrow.
I really wish there was some signs of accountability at AFTC to its share holders.
When they say something, and it does not happen, such as, Update on 8/14, it would be nice to know why.
Who, what, when, where and why = success
Everything that I need to know, I learned in kindergarten, it still applies.
Just checking. I am not really holding my breath for it.
I see, this is then old news comment.
Did we get the 8/14 update?
