the only problem is, i hate to tell you this, but, it's been setting up for a major run for two years. the only thing that's going to cause this to run is news. and, yes, if they get some good news we could easily be in multiple pennies. but, as someone that's been here a while, i'm not holding my breath any longer...just hopin' GLTA AFPW!!!
it's done this before. in July it ran up to above .01 on news that a resolution was reached with their old landlord. my guess is, there's a short position and someone that knows with the right news this could run quite a bit.
what are the implications for this. i thought all stocks were "trade for trade"
it's best to just ignore him.
he's been owned for some time now.
dude, if you know something, spit it out. i'm not sure a contract administrator would necessarily know what's going on in the field, but if he's told you something you should share it with all of us.
i might add, this sequester stuff hasn't helped a whole lot. but, the government does want to save money. GLTA!!! AFPW
with regards to this issue of "heavy lifting" it does make you wonder, what does a company like Genport see in a little spec of a company like AFPW? remembering, they're actually privy to what the management, the hated Fong & Cade, know is actually going on behind the scenes. this is basically the one thing that keeps me interested here. i still believe in this technology. hopefully, we're going to see some return on this "investment" soon. GLTA!!!
i know, by the looks of this thing it may get that low. but, way back when we were in this price range the last time before the RS, there was well over a billion shares in the float. i think the market cap is extemely low right now. on the other hand, maybe that's all this is worth.
he's also got a hot blond hanging onto him. he must be doing something right.
in recent days, there's been comments here on this board that the AF's purchase of the PBIS is dead, over, kaput. at least it's good to see that this isn't the case and there's still a deal on the table. i don't see this pr as pure fluff. at least they're letting us know the lights are still on and hopefully there's something coming. GLTA AFPW
unfortunately, there's very little interest in this company anymore. they've diluted it back to the stone age and i see where we're now in the .0007/.0008 channel with a dump of 8.88 million shares. the only new people i'm seeing around here are penney speculators seeing a potential run to .004 or something. the real question is, how much would this company be worth in a stock purchase if such a thing ever actually happens? my guess is, not very much. but, who knows?
JP, i'm not seeing those words in any of the prs. i'm not saying it wasn't stated, maybe i missed it. i do remember them saying there was a delay due to the sequestration, but that's it. could you paste the quote or provide a link?
well...what's your guess? if you don't mind my asking.
just look at what happened back in mid july. this thing popped pretty quckly and then went back down just as quickly. my guess is someone that holds a short position here decided to cover because, (a) they weren't sure how the market would react to the news. and (b) if there was other news on the heels of the rental payment agreement, they were afraid this thing could fly and they might be in trouble. in other words someone out there was a little scared and showed their hand a bit. i took that little run as an indication that i should average down a bit more, just in case we finally get news. it's not pleasant putting more money into this thing, but i don't see any alternative. GLTA
well said!
it moved up to over a penny not too long ago on news that they'd reached an agreement on their debt with their landlord. go look at the chart. i don't think that was just trading, i think it was also short covering. that was my signal to buy more and average down. it's painful, but it would appear this thing could move pretty quickly with news. AFPW
it would matter to investors. if the Air Force buys, oh, say, 20 PBISs this thing will be in multiple pennies very quickly.
No. 21 on the breakout board! AFPW GLTA
how do you know the air force isn't interested? they paid to have some very specific alterations and improvements that they found beneficial as a result of field testing made. they wouldn't have done that if they weren't interested. they wouldn't have done that if they weren't more than just interested. the real problem is that the sequester went into effect and slowed the process for purchases. i still believe the PBIS will be successful and the air force will purchase additional units. the only problem has been the painfully slow nature of this process and the company's lack of money to fund their operations in the meantime. whether or not we've turned a corner remains to be seen, but you definitely need to stop spreading your lies. /AFPW
remember, there are plenty of people, like myself, sitting on the sideline, waiting to get in. i'm not a basher and you won't hear me making obnoxious statements at the expense of other long term investors. yes, there's going to be downward pressure, but, it wouldn't surprise me at all if management has timed everything with some news that causes a spike. this is likely to get painful, but there is absolutely no predicting how low it will go. ACTC is still possibly a huge money maker. GLTA.
with this amount of dumping, it's amazing we're not in the triple zips already.
i hope they're aware of this.
that's why i've sunk a few hundred more into this. i too have tripled my holdings for a few hundred. the only ray of hope i see here is the way this moved a couple of weeks ago. news could make this pop. GLTA AFPW
i agree. remember, there are plenty of people, like myself, that are sitting on the sidelines waiting for a bottom to buy in to. ACTC's longterm potential is to big to ignore.
the problem is the government is famous for taking its sweet time on making a decision, especially when it involves new technology. also, the sequester didn't help. it still wouldn't surprise me to wake up one morning and find out the air force is ordering 40 PBISs. there's a reason Genport is interested in Alumifuel. it's just ugly to watch what happens in the meantime. what we're witnessing is the effects of toxic financing.
i don't think there's going to be another reverse split. this company is worth so little right now, the next step is BK.
the dilution seems to have stopped, at least for the time being. it would be a good time to make an announcement.
i've believed all along that there is tremendous potential. the product could be revolutionary(and i don't use that term loosely). unfortunately, the management is terrible. a couple of days ago i tripled my holdings here for $300. i wasn't going to say anything about it, because it really isn't something to brag about, but i decided to give it one last shot. i guess i still want to believe something good can happen here. the price is definitely right. GLTA AFPW
at this point news--hopefully positive--is the only thing that will cause a reversal.
i'm sorry. you're right. nobody knows for sure what's going on here. i was just trying to be funny. i do hope that this all somehow works out for the good of investors.
no. just plain ol' dillution.
i will say this, at least for now, it looks like we're showing a little strength in trading today. if we could get some news this thing would take off.
not true. with a government purchase, a delay of a few months is almost to be expected. half a year is nothing to them. i'm not saying i'm brimming with optimism over this company, just that delays are not unusual. that the government paid for alterations and improvements to their PBIS is a seriously good sign. i don't know what the future holds, but i still have hope.
my understanding is that the decision has been delayed by the sequester. to my knowledge this is the only information we have on this matter. if you have other info please post a link...thanks
at least we have some confirmation that the merger is still on. things are looking a lot better now then they did for the last few weeks. AFPW
everything else is speculation. so now you're up to date.

"I NO UNDERSTAND NOTHING :S" at last you've said something that is true. why don't you do some research and find out for yourself. everyone here is sick of reading your posts.
what do you mean by "maxed out os"? from my calculations, just adding all of the large amounts of shares that have sold since the RS, we're at maybe 70 or 80 million shares. someone else reported that we're at 52 mil. how do you "run it" up 250%? something else is going on here. let's all hope we're on the verge of something good...news wise, that is.
