Have 2K waiting to see what happens on the 7th.........hope the need more time drops the price decently
If we are getting a New Company (that will be compensated well for all the assets they took away), I'm fine with it.............But with just couple of hundred millions or perhaps few billions is not acceptable..........And some people call this a victory
Totally Agree
If they drag this into 2012, no mercy, fight till the end for a rightful judgement day on JPM/FDIC
Minimum $33 billion.......Maximum limitless (Dr. Acharya).....Let's dig in more....stick around for a bit while.........
Sir, paying off creditors, Ps, Ks would only take up less than $10 billion.............Now there are 1.7 billion outstanding shares for Commons.............24X1.7 = roughly 41 billion..........
$100 billion would equate to around $50 per share
You want to give up a 350 billion dollar company for $3 per share..........
Failed Bank : Washington Mutual, Inc - Henderson, Nevada
Date Closed : September 25, 2008
Assets : $307 billion
Deposits : $188 billion
Acquiring Bank : JPMorgan Chase - New York, New York
Assets Purchased : -
Deposits Purchased : -
Premium paid for acquiring deposits : -
Loss Sharing Agreement with FDIC for assets : -
Cost to the Deposit Insurance Fund : $0
Notes JPMorgan Chase acquired the banking operations of Washington Mutual Bank in a transaction facilitated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. JPMorgan Chase acquired the assets, assumed the qualified financial contracts and made a payment of $1.9 billion. Claims by equity, subordinated and senior debt holders were not acquired.
when that GSA gets killed we are obviously looking at the real value of WAMU not a new Co
2.2 trillion dollar company goes bankrupt because of $100 billion that they didn't even own previously? LOL what a joke.......
You can't ignore the fact that TD offered $30 billion just a year before all this mess started for just 1/4 of Washington Mutual............
Fight off another couple of years......We've been here more than 3 years now........
If JPM and FDIC don't want to ruin their reputation/future......They might as well give up a big chunk of what they ate.......It won't kill them or make them bankrupt.........JPM can handle a loss of hundred billion and function fine........Heck, it didn't even belong to them
This case is too big to be ignored not even by the "omnipotent" government or JPM......They can't get away with this that easily
It's our time to hit back now
we all know hedgies have no choice...........JPM will eventually have raise a white flag
I mean if we can get what we deserve back into the New Company I'm fine with that but getting a company with few billions or less sounds like a failure after 3 years
What makes people think the New Company will grow and that the commons will see profits over the next few years? We're not gaining back our 350 billion dollar company.....We'd probably end up with something like a couple of hundred million dollar company......How is that going to grow rapidly to compensate us all? Getting a new company that is not even 1/100 the size of the old WAMU is pointless and useless.....
Let's get rid of the GSA and take this to trial.....I don't want to end this for a measly New Company
eh, we're not 100% sure if it has been presented among the EC and our opponents secretly or quietly......Remember the $30 billion they presented was just "partial" things that they could prove right on without digging in much
Hey, if we get everything we deserve back.......3-5 years sounds fine to me
LOL I'm thankful that you're not leading this case.......Do you have more credibility than Dr. A?
Dig in deeper and there will be much more than $30 billion perhaps X4 or X5 that amount
Don't we have close to 5,000 people in this? If everyone donating $100 to the cause...Wouldn't it be enough to at least start?
Why not? commons make up the majority..........I guess you should hang out more in the wampq area
Still sticking to $64 per share minimum........No less....Anything less sounds like loss on our side
Did not say they'll have to pay out every cent of what they got........But they must pay a heavy enough toll for what they did wrong........I can't believe us of settling for something like 1/100 of the original WAMU....That would be a shame for all the three years we fought
I would like this to go into 2012
I want them paying up close to $100 billion dollar in the end.........This has dragged on way too long........Got to learn a lesson
What's the point of getting a New Company if its not even going to be worth a billion? (if we're getting a new company it better be like the previous size of WAMU not a 1/100 of its previous form).....JPM shall have to pay heavy toll for eating a 350 billion dollar company for 1.9 billion.............WHAT COMES AROUND COMES BACK AROUND
JPM and FDIC has clearly enough money to pay off and still be well off.............2.2 trillion dollar company and a government organization with almost unlimited cash flow.........Please don't they'll go bankrupt off of this.............My econ teacher said that JPM can handle a loss of up few hundred billions and still function fine
JPM is 2.2 trillion dollar company....What makes you guys think they can't afford to lose (give back) 1/20 of it? It didn't even belong to them in the first place
I thought we were all in this to get the value of WAMUQ back not settle for a couple of hundred million dollar company.......Let this drag longer, don't stop for chump change
You're just a low baller
I'm in it? how can you tell by this?
All I need is $24++ for commons they don't have to resign they don't have to give up their net worth........Just give back what WAMU is really worth
Mine is on $80
If GSA is taken care of, Dr. Acharya's number becomes reality
Do you even own any commons?
How do we kill the GSA?
