Thanks! And that's without factoring anything in for their CMD process...care to guess what that patent might be worth?
Thanks again!
Great report. Where (or how) are you valuing NEYYF now?
Thanks
Latest update looks great.

So what would be the benefit of that?
Thanks
Why do you think it will "gush"? Although they had many zones, there really isn't that many feet of oil pay.

Company Description
Mart is a Canadian company producing light sweet crude oil from high
productivity wells onshore Nigeria. The Company has offices in London,
England and Lagos, Nigeria.

Developments
Mart has commenced a low risk drilling program on the Umusadege field in Nigeria. In Q2/10, the field averaged
1,920 bd net to Mart’s interest, which during the quarter was 74%.
Comments
Mart has passed the half way point on drilling UMU 6, the first of three locations. Situated up-dip to the west from the
two currently producing wells, the new locations are relatively low risk. Under the farm-in arrangement with the leaseholders,
Mart pays 100% of the capital and operating costs of the field for a 50% interest. Drilling costs are estimated
at $8 million per well.
The production sharing agreement allows Mart to receive 97.5% of the net revenue from the field until it recovers its
capital costs. RPS Energy has estimated the development locations being drilled should be capable of 3,000 - 4,000 bd
gross. Based on costs encountered in the first half of 2010, we expect Mart’s netbacks from production could be
$65/b, and if the wells produce at 3,500 bd, they would pay out in about a month. If all three locations are drilled one
after the other, the Company’s share of production for the first quarter of 2011 could be very high – for modeling
purposes, we are assuming an average of 7,500 bd with cash flow of
.11 (we are expecting
.09 for all of 2010).
We may be conservative in our modeling, and may make revisions as the drilling results are released.
As capital is recovered, and the share of production drops to 50%, we expect by year-end the Company could be
producing, at a minimum, net 5,000 bd (with annualized cash flow of
.24). For the full year 2011, this would allow
production to average almost 6,500 bd and result in reported cash flow of
.34.
MAUXF upgraded with a .75 target.

GTE...new find with some very good numbers. They keep on clicking!!
While I would love for your projections to come true about MAUXF, can I ask what you base them on (why would 2500 bpd get us to .80)?
Thanks
Wunderlich upgrades GTE to $12.50 target!

Thanks Digi. And will do so going forward!
Agreed. Any talk of them moving to a real exchange in the US?
Thanks
Why does MART trade such low volume (I own MAUXF on the pink sheets)?
I tried that before I posted, but to no avail.
Thanks
link please?
Thanks
Thanks. Does it pretty much mirror the Canadian stock price?
Can you buy CEN on an American exchange?
Hank,
Why are you so high on MAUXF?
Thanks
This is huge for renewable energy in China, and hopefully, for APWR specifically.

You call 2.8 million shares on Friday "light volume"??? And on a half-day no less??
Wow, what a rally so far today in an otherwise sea of red!!
Short interest down 1M shares.

Anyone know when earnings are due? I originally thought Monday, the 3rd, but since we haven't seen an announcement from the company, I'm doubtful.
Thanks
Thanks for the post. Can I ask what crossover are you referring to?
Thanks
That was a quick change of heart!
Doubtful after today's news of the pipeline shutdown for a few weeks...
GTE target raised to C$6.50 from $C4.50 by R James this morning. Also, JP Morgan started them at Neutral.
Thanks. Is that $3.50?
Would you be kind enough to post a graph with what channels exactly you are looking at? Thanks very much.
From oiljack on IV:
Costayaco
You don't thnik our "understanding" of Costayaco just got a little better now do yah??
We know how leaky this boat has always been....aint no different now.
"Material" oil at C-8 and a "material" new understanding of the oil-water issue.....watch for it.

Nice move up this week for GTE! C8 results should be right around the corner (and hopefully a positive update on C7 as well)!
I think it's a great company. Excellent cash flows, lots of cash, no debt, some decent producing wells, and LOTS of opportunities (their territory in Peru is particularly attractive to me). This "elephant hunting ground" has the potential to discover a billion barrels. I like their conservative growth pattern to date. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is the fact that they are asking to increase the outstanding share count (presumably for an upcoming takeover). I don't like further dilution. Longer term, this could hit double digits!
I pulled this from IV, can't verify with a link.

Did you sell out Ed?
And just like that...poof...he was gone!
APWR is really on a tear lately. Anyone have any opinions on it?
Thanks
What if an update on C7 or news on C8 comes out and is very positive? Would that change your mind?
