I would like to remind the board that these forums are for both bullish and bearish traders. For every trade there is a buyer and a seller. The performance of AFYG since the fall pump by far supports a bearish outlook as does the performance of the company. Let's keep the comments on the stock itself and not other posters as rules dictate. Also remember, hope is not an investment strategy.
That said, Corey threw out some numbers regarding present production but did not include revenue verses operational costs. If he is a competent CEO he would know those numbers and share them during the conference call. The fact he did not is troubling and could mean those numbers would not support a bullish outlook.
I am also troubled by the continued excuses in getting current with the filings. CEO says it's soon but will not commit to a date. In his defense it's not likely he has any previous experience doing it.
Not only has the fat lady sung on this one but she left the building, lost a 100 pounds, got remarried and is now working for Tesla in emissions reduction design.
The one thing that is quite palpable is the crushing decline in investor sentiment in this room. You can almost taste it. The last bastion of positivity crumbling. Badly in need of a "nugget" of good news.
And so far, AFYG has done just exactly that.
When a real pump comes along there will be massive volume and other people like myself making moves, all with equal opportunity to make money. I see this ticker in the downside of the dump and won't call it as other than that. I refuse to pump on the dump.
In response to the conjecture below. If I was not possessed of impeccable integrity yes, I would be pumping AFYG as hard as I could. However, I like to sleep at night and refuse to lure others into a play I don't believe in. Pennies are a game for me, not real investing. If I saw anything I thought was positive I would be happy to get onboard but unfortunately that hasn't nearly been the case. The whole story here is deteriorating rapidly. Not interested in selling at such low volume and wrecking the price. I can wait years on this one since I no longer have anything to lose. I still see the best bet here is that someone else grabs the shell and creates something new.
Shouldn't someone holding shares be happy someone may be propping up the stock?
Wouldn't someone holding shares at a zero cost sell now at 3-5 cents rather than below a penny?
Wouldn't such a shareholder who had no faith in the company, want to maximize his investment rather than preach doom and gloom in hopes of watching his own holdings dwindle to zero?
In my opinion, trading a penny like AFYG based on technicals with this price and volume is second only to CEO personality traits among methods I would totally discard.
One thing you can bet on with these pennies with 100% confidence and that is, the time is always near. Always.
The way I see it, insiders are propping up the L2 in the face of the recent dismal conference call in the hope of finding new money before the final run for the exits. As long as they are acting like they have a way forward, the price is easily kept afloat. When information goes silent (and I predict it will), the end will occur with great rapidity. I wish I had better news but I don't subscribe to "the CEO sounds nice on the phone" school of investing.
Corey doesn't seem to have a high opinion of previous management yet they selected him to do something he had zero prior experience with. True statement.
So, does that make him correct?
I play these pennies for what they are P&D's. My remaining shares have an average cost basis of zero which is why I can wait these out, it's all house money at this point. I do admit to error in not selling out during last falls pump in the high teens but I gave the present team too much credit.
My best hope here is they drop the Lost Dutchman Gold Mine ruse and vector off into something unrelated for another pump. Maybe something like a 20 dollar gizmo that turns water into wine or prefab briefcase homes for china men.
I consider it a public service to show others just how ridiculous this whole scheme is. That and I find it incredulous people fall for it.
BREAKING NEWS, HOT OFF THE PRESS
The San Francisco 49ers are named after the 1849 Gold Rush miners. $AFYG http://bit.ly/1cOs3Gz
I'm going to wait until they change the company focus to something like a manned space program and will sell on that pump. It could take years though and maybe never. This Lost Dutchman ruse has just about run it course.
When you come right down to it, the price action tells you what you need to know about the conference call.
I can't be bothered to listen to the bs but expected if anything great was passed on people who listened would post it. So far I haven't heard anything but more excuses and delays.
No, I went for a swim figuring it was time better spent.
How much revenue to date? As a producer you must know much revenue you are producing.
Let me guess, that last 5% on the audit is going to take a very indefinite amount of time to complete.
Can't deny that sounds like a lot of bull, my bad.
It's obvious that sentiment has taken a dive around here(justifiably so I might add) which is exactly what I predicted. I may change my name to FlappoProphet since the other one has jumped ship.
It's a last chance for Corey to salvage any credibility he has left. Sooner or later you have to perform not just talk. IMO
I'm not optimistic.
It's never a good sign when on the most pivotal day in AFYG's existence, the bulls have left the building.
Gold is so pliable that it can be made into sewing thread. #gold #AFYG #mining http://bit.ly/1cOs3Gz
Reviewed their website.
Gold is a good conductor of heat and electricity as well as being very corrosion resistant. #AFYG #gold #mining
I don't see how a strategic partnership with another company who has never done anything is good news.
If I wanted it at .02 I could easily make it go there. Someone doesn't want it there and I would guess it's someone who still thinks there is some air left in the pump. There is NO trading going on at this point, only manipulation. The failure to make the first quarter goals and now to even simply pull of an announced "conference call" (using the term loosely) does not bode well for the future.
Did you know gold is 19.3 times as heavy as water and AFYG corporate headquarters are smaller than an ore car?
My predictions on this ticker have been more accurate than anyone else on the board by a wide margin. To include them not getting current when they said they would and the last conference call not coming off on schedule. Insiders are propping up the share price until it's obvious even to the most ardent bulls that the jig is up.
Did you know they made bubble gum back in the day that looks like gold nuggets? I saw it right in this gems twitter feed.
I don't believe him anymore.
I'm sorry but you are going to have to wait and buy my book to find that out.
Penny stocks are far from a coin flip, way far from it. Combine that with the laughingly amateur effort we have seen by AFYG here and you have about the 95% I quoted.
Try floating a book called "Penny Stocks The 50/50 Proposition" and see how many publishers line up.
I had a 95% chance of being correct.
Who is the "joke" on here? Seriously.
I intend on using AFYG as an example of a poorly run P&D in my book where all the signs were evident to even a novice.
I believe you are correct on the recent price support which leads me to believe they think they have a chance at a last push before reality overwhelms the remaining investors.
You have to hand it to me, I called that delay. Like I have said before, I have seen this movie too many times not recognize a scene or three.
AFYG has reached an important milestone from my perspective. When I get around to completing my next book "The ABC's of P&D's" I am going to dedicate an entire chapter to AFYG. The publisher has really been on me to get it finished but I have told him we need to wait until the whole of the AFYG story is told.
But you talked to Corey personally and he told you it was going to be on schedule, that's got to sting. Baked or fried on the crow?
LMAO
