if they have all the company info, and they bail based on that, yes it probably would be.......but if you already own most of it, you are not going to bail.
my opinion is the buyer gave them permission to do it and they were bought on the open market. Remember I think the buyer needs 95% and maybe didnt have them yet.
exactly and have you went back and looked at the share counts?? You are now seeing my point. Never has there been a sec filing for major shareholders of record. The buyer may have decided long before he put in a offer that he wanted to buy and started buying on the open market. He then could have made them an offer, one they just couldnt refuse, the PR are made, we are all told, he or THEY continue to buy on the open market. Nothing illegal at all. And shorts that do not cover by the date of closing OWE the new owner for all those shorts. jmo
after the 2 bil put in....a 1bil buy in one block went thru.... come on people....who do you really think owns most of the 11.6 billion shares.
the idenity of the buyer isnt the issue... the public announcement were made that the price was .01 per share and that it was for 100% of the company.
well i disagree. THRR has 7 major shareholders of record that owned about 40% of the company at the end of Dec 09. There are no sec filings. If the buyer is any of these people they need to do nothing as far as I can tell. jmo
again, it is my opinion that whoever is buying has been buying on the open market. also my opinion that they ALREADY own most of the shares, hence ,there was a 1 bill block buy several weeks ago.
So if the buyer already own the 95% that I think he needs for this deal, that would only leave about 700 million for him to pay .01 per share. That would be about $7 mil. Now if 330 million are shorted and not covered before the deal closes, that money is then owed to the new owner. That would be $3 mil. If the share count shorted shares is 600 mil. Thats $6 mil owed to new owner. It is then basically shorters money that pays me for my shares. jmo.
no...perfectly legal. They told everyone April 30. they told everyone .01 per share. They said it over and over again and todays pr kind of points to that it is possible to wind it up. jmo
nothing illegal about it at all. Everyone has been well informed as to the date and the buyout. If the shorts do not cover, it is their own fault......and yes there are short.
hmmmm could be a very interesting afternoon....cuz if you and I know this.....i bet those with short interest, also know.

not only that but people with certain heart conditions are also more likely to get it. AND I AM NOT SAYING THAT TOM HAS A HEART CONDITION, but to make claims that he couldnt have possible been sick is ridiculous. Ask yourself, why would they even bother putting that in the pr if it wasnt true.
ahhh the forward looking statement......the one that is on EVERY STOCK whether it be a THRR or Microsoft.......THE ALL HAVE IT. EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM.
Nickle, do you remember when tom flessner announced back on Mar. 12 that 661 million shares had been shorted?? Well that is back when the price was much lower then today. Do you think that perhaps those shares have still not been bought back by the shorts?

there is sooo much to learn. Each day THRR teaches me more. I love this little company and truely cant wait to see what happens next. As a said before, I think that THRR does everything with great purpose.

mammas 1st rule....NEVER EVER panic sell. Someone else ends up with YOUR profit in their pocket. I feel very very bad for those who were led down that path. Its is truely sad.
Kings County Economic Development Office has THRR listed as one of the Major Employers in Hanford. Shows that they have 21. In Feb (i think it Feb) THRR put out a pr that said they were adding staff. Dec. disclosure said 14 employees . EDO says 21. Guess they added the staff that they said they needed.

Sorry but i saw that same info for free. However that info was ACTUALLY from last summer. You should be able to bring up that info of your puter and then post the link from there...and we should be able to see it.
TWO seperate entities. I worked for many years at a major financial institution and I managed another business (that I am part owner of) at the same time.......one hand did not wash the other as they are 2 seperate companies.

well when you get that one in writing..i will believe it. Have called and have verified. Sorry the property is NOT in foreclosure....and even if it were it would not matter as THRR DOES NOT OWN IT. It doesnt matter who owns it. And you have this conspiracy theory that THRR money is being used to save that building. YOu have NO PROOF of that just an opinion.

Those people do their own DD on whether or not THRR is a real comp. and since they have been more then willing to do articles over and over again on THRR you can be sure that they VERIFIED.

Sorry but if you really think that magazines and newspapers just get pr's sent to them and they start referring to the company in question, up in coming or leaders in the industry just cuz they received a pr.....you are sadly mistaken. The magazines and newpaper do DD too. Can you imagine if we could all just type up pr's saying that we were ALL the TOP investors in the world and then send them to top investing magazines and expect that they would do features and article on us based on that.........if only it worked that way....see they would send all us back emails that said " your village called.....all the idiots are missing."
