thats the winning ticket in my mind...ive been hoping that would happen
BOTH...bin laden is toast...id say the 2nd or 3rd week in october...they have him marinating until they need him....we can play politics too!!
sorry...i lost my best friend [cousin] on 911...and am constantly reminded everytime i see his son and daughters...i think if you polled the surviving family members of 911...you would find nearly unanimous support for george bush....and frankly.....those are the people who matter to me!!!...
lets get something stright...iraq might be a thorn...but its the democrats who are pushing it into his side...if it wasnt an election year...we wouldnt be doing so "poorly" in iraq....the media[democrats] only show the bad side...they dont show the 95% of the iraquis happily enjoying "freedom"
i think it will backfire on them if thats their strategy...precicesly because of what i said
have a little more faith in the US publics resolve...we aint the chicken sh1t spaniards
BUYERS UP!!
idc closed at nine week high ye
sterday...the next high will not take nine weeks
if corporate america is not buying this...its only because they are buying something better from RIMM [wall streets pda and stock of choice]
glad to see this...i was starting to think that the military contract thing was a one time blurb to keep the dogs at bay...any idea exactly what we are trying to sell to the military
dont know about you guys...but ive been as active as ive been in a long time buying idc ...since the sanyo liscence...and after the buyback announcement last week
random....maybe if our protocol stack works very well w/ the zyray chip....broadcom will also consider using it...right now infineon is using our protocol stack in conjunction w/ the s-gold baseband and the zyray spinner chips...any input from the peanut gallery would be appreciated
i use the 5 minute chart...i think it gives a clearer picture
its pretty much an epidemic..especially at the smaller firms..the big guys have been able to increase mkt share because of electronic trading...while further narrowing spreads...and volume is light to further exasperate the trend
gman...id like to see a nice "tape bomb" either late thursday or early friday...you know...trading halte...d idc announces earnings to be 10 cents better than "expected"..in the second qtr...see's full year earnings topping estimates by 50 cents...
thats not the case mr blue...i think idc has had its fill of contracts that are "triggered" by another company
will somebody please show the buyer a legitimate offering on 200k shares...i think if some supply was shown it would be lifted...anyone?
also...since both indexes are weighted indexes...idc will be a relatively large russell 2000 stock vs being a relatively small russell 1000 stock...so that more more index money will be moved into idc
yes more money is indexed to the 2000 than the 1000...we had an outflow last year when we went from 2000 to 1000...
im not sure if you want to trumpet falling from the russell 1000 into the russell 2000...im thinking.. you accept the increase in indexed money into your shares.....and keep your mouth shut
you just rang a bell...WHAT IF....by samsung arguing that the entire nokia contract.. not just the rate...is applicable to them...has somehow walked into the possibility that they too are liscenced for not only tdma/gsm...but also for is-95 cdma2000 and umts...boy wouldnt that be fun.....it must be very exciting to actually be a player in this game!!
she trades all the way down on nothing...and comes right back up on nothing....not a single block trade today
r^)...?
come to think of it...i think phillips was also one of the triggers
question?...is it a good thing or a bad thing that the buyback has yet to surface?
thanks loop...the "dark side" purveyors were a little out of control
have some faith in the arbitration proccess...its not meant to send people home empty handed
thats why i have stated that idc might not mind losing on the 2g trigger issue and why howard wants the arbiters to undergo a thorough review of the "entire contract" including 3g triggers
believe me...idc was only concerned w/ one trigger...the gorilla they had standing in front of them at that time
imalurker...i agree....the idea of arbitration is to settle these things...not to look for a way to endlessly prolong a COMMERCIAL dispute...only lawyers look for a way to endlessly prolong a situation
how could nokia accept lu as a handset trigger...when they're handset sales are non-existant....you fight who they put in front of you...and ericsonn lost the fight...regardless of how much weight they lost during the fight...they started out the "THE HEAVYWEIGHT"
i think the 3 arbitatrators must come to a unanimous COMPROMISE
NO...they were among the first to liscence...they then entered into the BCDMA alliance...years before nokia was signed in 1999...you mean to tell me that after all of your rhetoric...you didnt know this FACT!!!
lets see...i emailed ghors privately and told him not to place any emphasis on what you said...you then admit "IR didnt say that"...believe me your on mental ignore...its the others that i worry about
you say they didnt say that..."but you got that impression"...thats worthless...as is much of everything else you post
it doesnt really matter what nokia thinks...they got caught w/ their pants down and are scrambling to buy time and erode what they owe...they have admitted that they didnt expect idc to be as successfull as they were w/ ericy
sometimes things react differently than what youd expect...for example im pretty sure that there was selling by people who knew judge lynne was going to unseal the documents...BUT...there was nary a reaction to it actually happening..imo...those folks will cover at higher prices
i think thats as way off as you can be....the business plan has been designed to be able to stand up to nokia in whatever venue it takes at this point
yup...they all get to pay the same amount for sales PRIOR TO 2002....its after 2002 that it gets tricky for nok....they signed the contract fully knowing that siemans is paid up and motorola won in court...they signed the contract thinking that ericy would whip up on idc...they lost that bet...pure and simple
i think it comes from the same people who brought us the magic 8 ball
