Large Green, yes, thanks, I remember, but I am still hoping and praying for today! Please be right! Lol..

7/21 !!!!!!
CNBC headline: June home sales drop to slowest pace in 14 yrs.
Krombacher, well, I hope you are correct but based on my experience, nobody will ever pay $3B dollars for erhc because theie acreage rights are all unproven, and the few wells that were drilled were not commercial. Nobody will pay billions of dollars for unproven acreage and if you are TotalEnergies and Shell, there is no rush.. they just found billions of barrels offshore Namibia.. they can just wait on SEO to decide if wants to die first, or take a reasonable buy-out offer..
Again, I hope you are correct but in my opinion, at this point in time, impossible.
Nd9
Krombacher,
Just some simple, rough math (& rounding off to make the numbers easier). ERHC Energy has ~3 billion shares. Let's say TotalEnergies bought all of ERHC's rights, to JDZ and EEZ for $300M. So ERHC would get $0.10/share.
Today, TotalEnergies is trading for ~ $59/share and ERHC is trading for ~0.005/share. So 1 TTE share would equate to 11,800 shares of ERHC. Thus, in your hypothetical, if you had 5 million shares of ERHC, you would get ~423 shares of TTE.

Jpm up another $1.27 today
… and JPM continues use to go up for last 3 months..
thirty years ago she was incredible but now, she is old, and face is painted on..
I am not a lawyer but maybe the lawsuit before statue of limitations is for unjustly seizing wamu.. maybe after the statue expires the lawsuit would be for not distributing the reorganized assets in timely fashion.. I am just thinking out loud but I am sure the hedge funds are very smart and would not let statute of limitations expired if there was no other recourse.
The hedge funds probably also signed Non Disclosure Agreements with fdic and jpm, that have certain conditions and timelines agreed to..
Jmho
Nd9
Large Green, only one more week until 7/21 !!!
Nd9
iPrelude, thanks, that is the way I read it also. I hope I am wrong but I don’t currently see a payout for shareholders listed in this filling.
Nd9
But shareholders aren’t normally considered general unsecured creditors.. has there been a special designation for shareholders to get that $48,504,661.99?
Thanks
Nd9
Boris, on the flip side, if the hedge funds wait till sept and for statute of limitations to expire, and then nothing is distributed, can hedge funds still sue if statue has expired?
Nd9
The problem is that the failed bank list doesn't show which receiverships are still open..

The more you have, the more you spend.. I am sure he has expenses like everybody else..
July 21…. Same date as large green’s prediction..
Large Green, probably nothing but this week, I received emails from both Morgan Stanley and Schwab stating my E*trade and amtd accts would both be transferred by sept 1. Interesting..
Nd9
I guess you two don’t know what wishful thinking means..
There was an interesting phrase in email from Schwab, that said, after process is completed on Labor Day, "your assets will be waiting for you.." Of course, wishful thinking, hoping it's the money they owe old WAMU shareholders...
Another day, another riddle..
Schwab is now in the process of transitioning over all TD Ameritrade accounts. It has already moved over many of them, and the process is expected to be completed on Labor Day weekend (Sept. 2 through Sept. 5).

This Board now reminds me of the old Batman TV series. "Riddle me this Batman:" Just too many riddles.
JD’s dream is to be President.
BBANBOB, At one time, there was a rule put in place by fdic/sec/Congress/somebody (can’t remember) that basically stated that if one institution (e.g. jpm) was responsible for bringing down a second institution (e.g. wamu), then the first institution could not buy the second one.. I posted about that several years ago.. I am currently at work but can find later if needed..
Nd9
Come on big dog! I am soooo ready.

BBANBOB, well said. Eom.
