Woody, yes this will expose the naked shorts on INIX. We may not see how that squeeze play works out until a couple of days before the conversion date (Sept 10). Mimurray had a good post to explain this....

When a company does something like this a NOBO list has to be done. This is a list of benificail owners and it gives the company an accurate accounting of all of it's shares so that they know how many shares to distribute, and to whom.
If you are a shareholder by the record date, 9/10/2010, you qualify for the split shares and they will be automatically deposited in to your account.
In answer to your questions, INIX will deploy the funds that they were going to use for the share buyback and use those funds for marketing/operations instead.
I think if new investors did their DD, they would understand the drop in price once the split occurs. Most investors have been around long enough to understand what a split does with a stock.
I've been conserving my posts for the day as I only have five posts left out of fifteen. INIX is doing well. The bids are stacked up and the ask is very thin. When this puppy starts to move, I think we'll be surprised at how fast it goes. As long as we don't sell, we should see this squeeze play out.
Looks like the MMs are already trying to push INIX back down. Pretty comical. They are in deep poop!
Spread the word, peeps! Already hitting .0044! INIX is gapping up yet again. Just wait until this news hits the mainstream! Go INIX!
They will be crapping a brick!....a gold brick for all of us!
INIX pulled off a stroke of genius this time!
I'm not an expert on this stuff, but does a stock dividend make the MMs cover their short sales by having to account for all of their shares? If so, this could make INIX a great short squeeze play! The more I think about it, I think this might be better than a share buyback! Go INIX.
Looks like INIX gave you the answer to both of your questions! Check out the news just posted!
NEWS!!!! And good too!!!
PLAINVIEW, NY--(Marketwire - 09/01/10) - iFinix Corp (Pinksheets:INIX - News), a provider of real-time financial information and services to active traders and to the securities industry, announced today that it will issue a dividend in the form of a two-for-one forward stock split.
iFinix Corp. recently held a Board of directors meeting to address methods to enhance shareholder value and to regain shareholder confidence. Although a stock buyback was discussed, the board determined that deploying funds to accelerate the company's growth, rather than buyback its shares, was in the best interest of the company and its shareholders.
As a result the company's authorized shares will be increased to facilitate the forward stock split. The dividend will be issued to shareholders of record as of September 10th, 2010 (the "Record Date"). Additional information will be released once FINRA approves the terms of the dividend.

I like the enthusiasm! Go INIX!
Some days over the past several months were very painful to look at my account. Its looking better now though. I've been able to average down some as I figured the stock would pull up eventually. They've got some good things going on so its only a matter of time before one or two of their divisions really gets traction. Go INIX!
If INIX keeps climbing 20% every day, we'll be doing well over the next several weeks. I guess I haven't been around long enough to be in the rumor mill. Its hard to believe I've been in this stock for over a year now! Crazy!
Most of the INIX shares traded today were short. Here's the info from REGSHO:
20100831|INIX|2026829|3231550|O
62.7% shorts!
We're having pretty good gains despite the MMs trying to keep this down. Can you imagine how thin the ask would be if they didn't keep shorting it?!
I'd like to hear some rumors! With all of the new people coming in, I don't know what the deal is but I like it. INIX is showing signs of life again. Maybe we'll get back up to .045 cents like last December........one can only dream.
What I meant was, I think NETW went private and their new MM ID is NTFN. I don't know what their relationship is with INIX now.
I think they might be "NTFN" sitting at .15 cents on the ask. Not sure though. You can't find their old symbol on IHUB anymore.
I just hit the ask and they only had 50k of INIX available. Ask is thin.
I like all of the attention INIX is getting.
Been out most of the day so I haven't been able to keep up with the board. Looks like INIX is doing rather well. My average here is still too high to get too excited for myself but I'm glad to see the pps on the rise and new investors being able to take advantage of it.
I'd be loving it if INIX is AntiMarketMaker's next stock to go from double zeros to .30 cents. I'll take that any day of the week! :)
Eight minutes to open. Looks like the ask might open at .003. Interesting.....
I think I saw Lowtrade's analysis for INIX. I thought we might get some people from over there.
I just looked and now INIX is number 12 on the Top Active Boards. I know its a Sunday and everything but we haven't been up here in a while. Still number 1 on the breakout board too!
According to the most recent conference call, Ben said they are expecting INIX to be in the black by Q4. I'm hoping with the new divisions up and running that they will be profitable by Q3 but its nothing to hang your hat on. Only one more month of Q3 left. If we show some good profits by the end of the year, we may see a more solid pps.
INIX just released its Q2 report the week before last. Q3 will probably be due around November 15th or so.
INIX is number 2 on the breakout board! Should be an interesting day tomorrow. Good stuff.
No worries. INIX has a lot of different things going on. Its hard to keep up with all of the divisions and everything they offer.
RealTime is not the same as eFinix. There are three separate products in the software division. RealTime, eFinix, and Trader. INIX has only put out RealTime so far.
You're probably right about the chart. I'm not chartist but INIX definitely looks primed for a bounce play. We seem to have hit bottom just about trip 0s and maybe now we'll be on our way back up.
INIX is getting bigger in the buzz cloud and is number six on the breakout boards and climbing! Where is all this renewed interest coming from?
That would be great. If INIX went up 21.05% for the next 20 trading days, we'd be just over ten cents a share. :) Not that this means anything but its fun to think about. I'll think about .10 cents per share while Bernanke thinks about .001 cents per share.
I'm encouraged that we didn't go down to trip 0's after the financials came out. I was ready to buy a boat-load if INIX went that direction. Instead, I just got a skiff-load. Still pretty good though.
That's funny, Bernanke! After all those times of getting on people about their opinions regarding the financial viability and worth of the company, the best valuation you can come up with is your opinion that the company is going to go through a reverse merger(or similar re-org). Its no wonder you have a negative view of the company though....anything multiplied by nothing is still nothing. I'm a little disappointed that you can't/won't come up with anything better than that. Sarcasm doesn't beat numbers.
Am I worthy of the Bernanke ire?! :) While we may disagree on the valuation of the company, we'll have to agree to disagree. Valuations are so subjective anyway.. What method do we use? Multipliers?? (1xFY09)/float=.004? (5xFY09)/float=.02? (1xFY09)/AS=.0015? (5xFY09)/AS=.006? Total Assets/AS=.0056?
RealTime is not the end-all product of iFinix. I really don't know why you keep saying that. Maybe because you jumped on board while the hype for RT was winding up? I think iFinix Capital has a better chance of bringing in revenues than RealTime ever did. As long as the fees are reasonably priced and the system is fairly intuitive, they should be fine. You seem to think this company has nothing left to live for....is that true or do you secretly know the company will eventually do well and are continually buying shares? Let us know where you stand.... You either like the company or you don't.
Just because I felt like looking, for the month of August, we've had a short sale percentage of 36.96%. Out of the 48.5 million shares traded over the last few weeks, 17.9 million of those have been shorted. I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I would think something like that would hurt the pps of a stock.
I don't know whether to blame an individual or a Market Maker but someone is definitely playing around with this stock......or I am missing something. Am I missing something?
