I really did expect some more action then this when the financials were released. I think we have all learned from past experience that the price boost is generally higher the second day... lets say full day in this case since the financials didn't come out till after 5 yesterday. I got my fingers crossed for a little bit of a boost tomorrow and maybe a .11 resistance for the near future. I agree with ssparsons that it would be nice if Virtra bought back some more shares, on the other hand they are growing rapidly. As long as they are putting the money to good use then we should ultimately get the benefit of this in the future. So in the mean time hold tight and let it grow. Good luck to everyone!
What is with the crazy volume spikes?
My palms are itching... Hope this means good news tomorrow! That happened the last time we went up... ????
Wow... that story is crazy. Cops definately need training on thinking before they act instead of acting before they think. They should have known the situation before they walked into it. There are probably many more situations like that, but unfortunately the crooked cops squirm their way out. Luckily these two were recorded.
Wow, looks like you had a great summer! I love the pictures.
I didn't realize this yesterday on Virtra's website but they did post the Brazilian sale...

Although the stock price has been dropping, I have yet to sell any shares. I will continue to hold at the very least until the 3rd quarter financials. There are too many possibilities and I strongly believe this stock has yet to reach its high point this year, regardless of it's current bargain price.
Good luck to all and Happy Friday!
thats called spyware or adware... you need to get webroot antispyware software. Thats my favorite program for that stuff.
Why doesn't this news show under my scottrade account? Whats the deal with that? and why are they not making it a press release on their website? Are they waiting for an all in one PR like the last where they announced multiple sales?
Lets start a chant... LOL NEWS! NEWS! NEWS! They spoiled us the other week with all that good news. Slow and steady wins the race! I'm a mommy of a 6 year old so I had bring back the old Tortoise and the Hair saying. Just remember that fundamentals are key!
Does that mean we can't talk about Obama's health care plan?
HAHA kidding :)
That does sound wise, but I don't see them doing that just yet. Seems like the company is taking things step by step. They are probably more worried about solidifying contracts at the moment. Thats a good point though and we should probably be looking forward to that moment in I'm guessing another year or so. I think now is the time to continue increasing the revenues and customer base... other things will fall in to place afterwards.
Good point. If they split it up, the price would have went even higher possibly. There probably is more news coming.
This was a great close for a Friday. That big red candle didn't scare too many away. I'm not gonna lie I was tempted... to sell a few the other day to offset the additional 5k I purchased... but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I know it's going to go higher... it's just that red candle that says, um what if your wrong? LOL and then it's all the money you've made that says... am I being greedy with it? That went through my head, but still I didn't sell because I need a really nice new car and Bob Ferris is going to indirectly buy me one!
Well VTSI is the only penny I've invested in... except for NPRI. They look to be a possibility, but I'm definitely not sure on that one. No where in VTSI's ballpark though, thats for sure. I picked VTSI before they got their first LM order.
Financials are definately important. What do people purchase stocks based on? What do they look at? PE ratio's... u know operating income... expenses, debt... which I'm sure Virtra will tackle soon. Very important. If your one of those people who goes by the chart, I think you will always be a step behind instead of a step ahead the game. Thats just my opinion. I've only started trading back in March, so what the heck do I know? But I've had myself a few good picks! made some money on STP and AMD.
Agreed. Those people selling at .11 are just people who havn't been in this stock and are cashing in for a quick buck. Their loss in the end. Those 3rd quarter financials are going to be pretty!
Anyone that is on this board... add me on your facebook if you have one. NicoleMarie7595@aol.com is my email I use on there. I'm interested to put the screen names with the faces.
I'm going to have to forcast my taxes before I decide to sell. I don't make any money so it's not going to effect me to much. I think I've made about 5k this year... actually a bit less. I'm in school full-time and have a lil part-time bookkeeping position about 8-10 hrs a week. Was a whopping 20hrs a week during the summer. I live at home with my momma. LOL Long story, but I'm working on my bachelor's degree.
Good point RM. I noticed that too... The response to the news seems to lag a bit then people jump on buying the stock. Tomorrow should be even more exciting. Too bad I will be in class taking a Managerial Econ test. :(
WHOOP THERE IT IS! :) .10 LOL
Low volume back then only like 5,000 shares in that range. I wonder why? It's probably alot of factors, or maybe they just didn't have that many out? Beats me and I'm not in the mood to do the research at the moment.
I looked at VTSI history WAAAY back... They were in the $3 range in 1998. Now thats potential!
Yes this is definately exciting. You should of been here a several months ago, when we were all chomping our nails waiting for the take off. We all new it was coming but didn't know when. We still have far to go and I'm waiting. As much as I like the profits now, I'm going to hang on because I know there are plenty more to come based on past performance and my confidence in how well Bob is running things.
YEAH... That sure looks good. Look at the OLMP bid. Is that person on crack? .01 That is surely funny. Guess thats a bid that was placed a long time ago and just hung around?? I'm still new... so my interpreting skills of all this aren't too tuned, but I can definately interpret financial statements and I like the progress Virtra is making!
Wow... I hope I'm wrong and your right! I wasn't that optimistic considering its a Friday, but anything is possible.
Good morning everyone. Any guesses on what the close will be today? I'm going to guess .083. Whoever comes closest to the correct closing price wins a new cherry red corvette! LOL... not really but anyway, I thought it would be fun to guestimate.
I bought 8000 at .059... then someone came behind me and bought 10000 at .06 yippeee... didn't want a red!! My limit was .06.
I got two good stocks right now! VTSI is taking off and AMD is as well. Bought AMD at 3.61 a share not too long ago now it's up to 5.57 a share. NICE, but I got most of my dollars in VTSI which is even BETTER! Looking good. Looking good.
I think buying the undervalued stocks is the way to go. I'm still fairly new at this and I found some good stocks and sold too soon because I was trying my hand at being a trader. All things rise and fall with time and if you pick a good one, it's destined to rise. I'm just curious as to see how it will effect my taxes. If you sell to soon for the short term it's 30% off your gains that the gov't gets. Am I right on this.. and it goes down to around 15% if you hold for a year?? I'm in school now and only work part-time so I have a minimal income and expect to get the earned income credit as I have in the past since I'm a single mother. Anyone know off hand how selling in the long term if I make say 3-4 thousand dollars will effect my taxes?
I hear ya... I was originally in this for the short term, but it's definately a long termer.
the speech therapy post is old news... I seen it and thought it may have been recent but it's like 2005 news.
How do you know someone bought 250000 shares?
Virtra also in on speech therapy??
http://www.therapytimes.com/sidebar.cfm?contentID=815&sb=3
Looks like they are almost better off without news. That's suprising.
I hear ya on that! I mean WTF? Pardon my expression, but geezy peasy. Do people just not realize that this company is kicking ass?? Or is it just going to stay a lowballer till sometime next year maybe christmas, or how about the following christmas? They should really go through the roof in 2020. LOL I was just hoping to see some better action, maybe I'm just impatient.
So.. are you on their payroll now or something? :)
Smithasd definately has a point. I been sitting here thinking why would a company not want their stock price to go up... Are they going to try to buy more TS? Doesn't make sense for them to purchase it at two diff times unless they are waiting on more money to come through for something. That is the only sense I can make out of it. Otherwise it is just really bad marketing. The letters from the CEO portion of their website has been dead for a loong while. Hopefully they are really busy working on something???
Guess I was wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere... Can't find it now and that does seem alot earlier then when they have previously released results.
Thanks.
I read somewhere a while ago that the financials are supposed to come out on the 14th... So the longest we should all be waiting is another week. Lets all cross our fingers and hope for the best!
This definately adds in some confidence to my investment.
Great post!!!!
They just got an order from Lockheed and from what I've seen that is just the "appetizer". Not sure of the truth behind it, but they seem to have great financials a good product and new management for the past year or so which is helping increase their profits. I like them and I think there will be more good news to come. We'll just have to wait and see.
