This might be why it was up last week.
iggy, what is the time line between filing and acceptance ... and to approval?
My guess is that Anavex will PR the MAA filing since it PR'ed the "pull" from the EMA. Each positive step will improve the SP ... and the shareholders' attitude!!

His batting average is just above the Mendoza line, which keeps him in the line-up. ⚾️

Steady, IMO, once the MAA is filed, the shorts will begin to reduce their numbers as the percentages favor Anavex's approval once it goes to the EMA. I doubt it will be rapid, but a gradual reduction with the MM's assistance as long as the MM's are able to minimize the price fluctuations. If the demand becomes strong after the MAA were filed, then the MM's might not be able to hold back the flood. 🌊

plex, in January 2023, I started to keep track of open positions and this was on the list back then.
george and k9, FYI - That position has been listed for months ... it is not a recent posting.
kevin, Anavex is @ 41%+ ... is that correct? That is good, right?
Good morning, Kb:
You asked "When" the ASM was (Post #460012) and I thought you asked "What" it was.
That is why I apologized.
Peace,
powerwalker
Mistake mine, Kb.
mrp, I still think that some news is coming before the ASM. It is 4 weeks later than last year and there wasn't anything significant in the proxy that would have caused the delay. Keep your eyes and ears open. 🤞

P.S. xo, FYI - if you want to color and do other features with your content, do color first and then the other features ... color should be closest to the contents.
Tred, I agree with you whole-heartedly ... PSA only.

That must have been the bonus for calendar 2022 since the bonus for calendar 2023 could not have been determined by the time the September 2023 fiscal year was finalized.

pogue, how do you know TGD received his full 2023 bonus?
ANAVEX NOW ... RIGHT NOW ... MONO-STYLE ... for LIFE ... and for ALL AGES!!!
As an add-on to Reyeton and pogue, since the Rett data was released on January 2, Anavex and TGD knew of the information before December 31st. Since TGD's bonus is calculated on a calendar year basis, he would not have received full value for the Rett bonus provision of his 2023 bonus.
ANAVEX NOW ... RIGHT NOW ... MONO-STYLE ... for LIFE ... and for ALL AGES!!!
Touché, Reyeton. I am not a very good devil's advocate.
You and pogue win the argument.
pogue, you did not own Anavex stock then and you don't own any now.
ANAVEX NOW ... RIGHT NOW ... MONO-STYLE ... for LIFE ... and for ALL AGES!!!
Reyeton, let me play devil's advocate.
Anavex has a Sept 30 year end and bonuses are tied to performance during the fiscal year, not the calendar year. His bonus for FYE Sept 2023 had already been determined by the time the Rett results were received and released. It is more likely that Anavex received the data near December 31 as the people doing the data work/review wanted to get it off their plates/desks so they could secure their bonuses.
Once the Rett data was received, TGD, Dr. Kaufmann and Anavex had no choice, but to release it quickly as it was a material event with bad news.

Reyeton, I like your last two words, "Right Now!" It reminds me of:
ANAVEX NOW ... RIGHT NOW ... MONO-STYLE ... for LIFE ... and for ALL AGES!!!
from my younger days.
Peace,

mrp, let's try to be non-political when we know both parties' nominees are at the point that each needs 2-73 immediately.
So, pogue, still waiting for your answer as to how much brain loss that you find acceptable for your family and/or you.
Don't break both of your arms patting yourself on the back!!
So, pogue, what level of brain volume loss would you want for your loved ones ... or for yourself?
P.S. Obviously "done" s/b "down."
Mea culpa for any confusion.
... and my Biotech degree from "Whose Knows Where University!"
One can only guess?
Actually, if she had written glowingly of blarcamesine, I'd not have responded at all as she was correct.
Question 1 for you, pogue: If you have a full 100 ml glass of water and you shrink it done to 75 ml, how much water do you lose?
Question 2: If you have a full 100 ml glass of water and you shrink it done to 98 ml, how much water do you lose?
Question 1 is the mabs; Question 2 is blarcamesine ... and the water is a person's brain volume and, likely, brain power.
Think of that as lacking in her article.
P.S. Bio*4, this for you, too.
Given that no one has heard of her in the neuro field, her details fail to mention the brain volume losses suffered by AD patients, compared to mabs' induced AD patients, compared to blarcamesine's patients. Another hack job done and paid for by hedge funds, no doubt.
Best of luck for her, family and her care team, Bobbuck
Good luck, Xena ... while I hope you and your doctor get a positive response, don't count one.
The question has been asked several times and Anavex's answer has always been, "No."
Compassionate use is only for participants in the trials. Anyone else with compassionate use or "Right-to-try" desires is SOL as Anavex is refusing those requests. It takes up too much time of Anavex employees.
P.S. Xena, this was stated a few years ago by Clint when someone asked and I believe TGD did also @ the 2023 AGM.
Xena, I am referencing today's position of Anavex towards compassionate use, not after its receives an approval.
Xena, as we have discussed before, per IR, Anavex is not interested in compassionate use. The reason is that it would detract from getting 2-73 to the market.
But you can try and best of luck to you.
Thanks, X and Xena.
X, is Apigenin what you took?
Great, mrp, to read your words of an acceptable presentation by TGD. I love it. 👍️
Kb, the irony of calling this production, "The Last Alzheimer's Patient," is lost on Gupta, Anderson and all of their sponsors.
Call them yourself, abe!
As Nike states, "Do it!"
So, any bets that Dr. Gupta mentions Anavex? Probably, a longer shot than the wagering on the least favorite horse in today's Preakness.
