I was about to post the same information. Project this out for the next year and we're looking at a 16 million dollar a year company (and growing). It's just a matter of time.
I'm voting yes on the split. Still contemplating the other issues.
thanks for answering. good to see you've been in for a year. it looked to me like you were not only new to this board but also to vtsi. many here are questioning the motives of ferris. I ask that you and others give him a chance to explain.
these are your first posts to this board ever. when did you get in? and what's your reasoning for voting no prior to the CC?
Awesome video. Now someone needs to learn how to use spellcheck.

another job posting. I'm liking this
awesome! thanks
"VirTra is proud to assist Lockheed Martin Global Training and Logistics in helping develop products that further the realistic training of our soldiers and other first responders,”
There are a lot of implications in this statement. Can someone post the link to pricing on these items?
another job posting yesterday. this time for a programmer with experience (including game writing) hmm.

Interesting article. Our officers going to Mexico to use a Virtra Systems sim.
Thanks kettleman. The relationship with cubic is interesting.
What did Ferris say prior to quietlurker's input? Thanks quietlurker for your entries, although it all sounds kind of vanilla.
That's what I'm thinking. The larger educational owner is based in Colorado. Could be more than just in California. Is this the 1st install we've had in California? Without doing research, my memory tells me that it is.
what do they mean 1st system? aren't most installs 1st systems. If you go to the school website it looks look they've been recently bought out by a larger entity. Seems to me similar wording to the 4 (in a row) Lockheed releases. Once again left to speculate.

actually that was two years ago. Last year about this time they released a pr stating "VirTra Systems Announces Reduction in Corporate Debt and Liabilities by over $1.19 Million" The actual financial report didn't come out until April. Hopefully the company will give us something to chew on soon.
What about Threat Dynamics? I didn't see a thing. Looking for good things ahead.
I have no expertise in this area, I just thought the threatfire belt could be adapted to almost any sim. Thanks for your reply.
yea, I posted it on October 1st Post # 25092. WEO asked so I reposted. Why wouldn't our products be compatible with simulated training?
Lockhead Martin Corp., Orlando, Fla., was awarded on Sept. 24, 2009 a $38,474,436 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This contract is for the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) system is the effort required to continue the design, development, integration, test, install, training, exercise support, management, software components of the Joint Land Component Constructive Training capability training system with other simulation models to form a constructive training environment. The WARSIM system will provide a battle command training environment that will allow unit commanders, staff, and command posts to focus their Warfighters and systems in countering threats across the operational continuum. Work is to be performed in Orlando, Fla., with an estimated completion date of Sept. 29, 2011. One bid solicited with one bid received. Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Acquisition Center, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity (W900KK-09-C-0055).
Not sure how to read this. Is this Virtra's biggest order to date or the biggest one from Lockheed Martin?
Could this possibly be the contract we're hoping Virtra will be involved with?

This is the first time I've seen the acronym TMaR (Trainee Monitoring and Recording for advanced debrief capability) This has been a requirement for some of the recent proposals I've seen. Interesting

not sure if this has been posted yet
Good question. Virtra would certainly be able to provide the equipment. Is this an application for the portable semi-trailer trainer they unveiled in 07? With the number of distributors and training companies Teeroy is uncovering I'm guessing this would be a joint bid.
Looks like this could possibly be met by Virtra?

Interesting that vtsi is competing against Ti training. I'm sure it will be more lucrative if vtsi wins the bid outright but with Ti training in the mix that gives virtra a 50% chance of being on the winning side. Any idea when the winning bid will be announced?

Police See Simulator Demonstrations
Ponca City Police officers and members of the Ponca City News staff were given a demonstration of a high-tech "use of force" simulator at the Ponca City Police Training Center in July.
The simulator, developed by Ti Training of Golden, Colo. uses the latest in high-definition video technology to create an interactive training experience in a variety of dangerous settings.
Each scenario has countless possible outcomes, based on actions taken by the trainee, said Greg Otte, president of Ti Training.
The simulator projects a life-size video against a wall of the training room. The trainee is equipped with all the equipment that would be on a police officer's duty belt — a real handgun with an air cartridge in the magazine, a pepper spray substitute, a taser that fires a laser beam and a low-light flashlight. The training instruments are safe, but work with the system to create a realistic response in the projected scene.
A trainer using a laptop computer selects sections of video to correspond with each decision and action the trainee makes. If the trainee fires a weapon at a subject in the video, for example, the reaction on screen is realistic.
"This unfolds in real time and includes blood and guts and street language," Otte said. "The action on-screen reacts to what an officer says and does."
"The device is about five or six generations beyond the old fire arms training simulators that the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training used to use," Ponca City Police Chief Clayton Johnson said.
Here's another TI Training sale. Hopefully VirTra. Check out section 8H

Welcome back, nice post. I also initially bought in at over thirty cents (back in the GAMZ days)but loaded up when we dropped sub penny. Wish I had the money to buy more. Couldn't agree more with your assesment.
with these latest finds that puts us at about $1,000,000 in new orders to end the year(with two more weeks to go). Nice!!!
nice find. The comparison to other systems is very interesting and exciting. Only the IES system comes close.
let's hope so
$700,000 in sales in the last week. While not as exciting as the Kelly posts used to be it's nice to see the actual dollar amounts attached to real sales.
Here's a good article on flight simulator trends. Let's hope some of the thinking translates to use of force simulation.
