I know there has been some speculation about the whole “O'Hurley Effect” over the past few days. Here is definitive proof there is an “effect” and there is no disputing the fact that its positive for CPRK:

The list goes on and on…!
My is off to O’Hurley and CM is doing a great job getting the word out as well. When was the last time you invested in a penny stock that got this kind of PR exposure?
GO CPRK! Go Longs…!!!
Lucky
I was unable to listen to the Big Biz show this afternoon. Were there any take aways from the interview?
Thanks!
Lucky
Agree with you 110%!
You're right Hammer. I'll help you out here. Go ahead and sell all your shares on Monday, I'll buy em up. This way you won't have to follow CPRK anymore. Just think, no more stressing about all the things "wrong" with the company. Lord knows you do have a long list of things "wrong" here.
Have a great weekend ya'll!
Lucky
Why don't you give him a call and ask for yourself?
Charles A. Moskowitz
617-633-2259
Don't you just love to twist words around and imply whatever you want?
If you would please read it again "and is presently preparing to ship another 250 tons of concentrate".
Sounds like they are producing well for not being at full capacity. But then again no matter where we've been at in the startup phase you haven't been happy, so who are we kidding here.. :(
Lucky
Boy does someone have a short memory - from the last PR 3 Nov 09:
"COPPER KING ANNOUNCES CONCENTRATE PRODUCTION UPDATE
MILFORD, UTAH.--(BUSINESS WIRE)—November 3, 2009—Copper King Mining Corporation (CPRK.PK "Copper King" or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has completed production of in excess of 500 tons of concentrates from its Milford, Utah mill, and is presently preparing to ship another 250 tons of concentrate to the receiving smelter. "
CM has stated many times that the company is shipping Cucon daily. Oh, I'm sorry... you've been gone for awhile, keep asking us about the facts and we'll bring you up to speed.
Lucky
Obama, did you place the title on this or did you get it from somewhere else?
Obamanonicz, welcome to the board. You definitely bring a different view and I believe most here tend to think about CPRK in a different light.
Most are researching the company, doing their DD and waiting for upcoming milestones (LTF, transparency, SX/EW, etc.). They’re also buying the stock at these low levels and averaging down as much as possible.
I myself bought roughly 1 year ago and honestly could care less that we’re down 75%. Why??? Because we now have so much going for us – producing Mill (Cucon and Mcon), shipping Con, on the way to becoming transparent, trying to get LTF and looking forward to SX/EW installation. That and I’ve been able to accumulate more shares than if the stock gained 75% over this year. I’ll continue to buy as much as I can because one day you’ll post a chart showing us the bullish trend and I’ll have more shares than you can shake a stick at .
You may be feeling a little bit of push back from board members here because you’ve posted over 15 posts today saying pretty much the same thing. We get you’re playing the charts, that’s certainly one way to invest. Reacting to a good trend is conducive to your investment style. Others like the speculative nature of this investment while others just want to see this company be successful and choose to support it during this early/critical phase of the start-up.
Quick question: Do you invest in stocks solely on chart movement or do you also know the inner workings of the company, the issues it’s facing and where they’re headed?
V/R,
Lucky
Who "else" is saying they want to take the company private?
Nice to see we're at 44% capacity (~2200 tpd). I had hoped for more by now but I understand it'll take time to ramp up production levels. It's also nice to see that they hope to hit 3375 tpd (67.5%) by the end of the year.
Full reporting WILL happen by Q2 2010 = pps+
Moving to a higher exchange = pps+
I really don't see the need to bash the report. I would hope the posters here would rather focus on sharing these facts with as many people as possible. More details will follow I'm sure.
Lucky
Let’s try to keep our eye on the horizon:
- Ramp up of production will yield 2 then 3 truck shipments per day. Eventually we’ll begin delivering Cucon via the rail-system.
- CPRK IS working towards becoming compliant.
- Cucon and Mcon sales (should be) covering all operating expenses.
- CPRK is working on acquiring LTF.
I’m not sure why all the sudden everyone is complaining about lack of info the company is (or is not) sharing with us shareholders. Has anything really changed here? Let’s stay grounded, focused and more importantly patient here.
Lucky
Is the company selling shares (i.e. more dilution) or are shares coming off restriction?
I’d think an annual shareholder’s meeting would be part of becoming PK compliant. For now, if they don’t have to disclose their financials how can we expect to have a shareholder’s meeting?
I’m looking forward to a PR or any status update on how everything is developing on the PK compliance front. We know they have a firm working this very issue. It would be nice to hear if we’re this on track to have this by the end of the year.
Lucky
IMO - I think 3 trucks a day is possible by EOM Jan 2010. But I'm not going to put too much into getting dividends from CPRK for a long while. Even if they get LTF in place. The money would most likely go to completing the SX/EW, hiring more employees and shoring up all aspects of the entire operation.
I'm just seeing a ton of messages about dividends here and it's probably way too early to bring that up.
Lucky
Well, we tend to get a wide range of "info" here about CPRK. Some speculation, some rumor, some with facts to back them up.
It's been my experience that they all end up staying for everyone to view and make their own decision about... not so in this case for some reason?
Charles must be at his PC. I just got an answer to my shipment question.
His reply was the same:
"Shipment #3 went today..."
Once the smelter is able to work out the delivery logistics/scheduling things will begin to fall into place.
Lucky
I heard a reduction of the silver % but nothing was mentioned about gold.
It was my understanding the gold % was higher.
Lucky
Didn't CM also say the shipment issues were NOT on CPRK's side but the smelter? Kinda hard to place blame on CPRK then...
Some might be upset over the interview and having the facts stated with such detail but remember, this is one of the first steps to becoming transparent. I'd rather know the facts (good, bad or otherwise) going forward.
At the end of today here are a few things to remember:
- We're still in a soft start mode.
- They've already told us we can expect to see a ramp up of production.
- We'll get to a delivery schedule of 2-3 trucks a day.
IMO, completing our soft start (i.e. more Ccon), getting LTF and becoming transparent will happen but it will take time. The road in front of them is clear, they have a plan and with a little patience we'll get there.
Lucky
They were very open about everything! This is the first time I've heard (or seen) them give so much detail about the company's state, Ccon, Mcon and mill/operations.
IMO, this is just a glimpse at what is in store for CPRK longs!
I know others will post their notes as well but here were some of the highlights I captured:
- Stated they are a "Producing mining company".
- 1500 tons a day (ore) Still in soft start... They'll maintain the quality side but plan to increase the quantity side.
- Soft start should be finished by the end of the year (3000/3500 tons at the end of the soft start).
- Ccon Shipment: Charles, "I want to make it absolutely clear! The shipment is out and is received at the smelter. It will continue as planned, M-F."
- Verified RBS payment is done by wire.
- Cash Flow 1500 tons a day (shipping 25 tons of Ccon - $42,500-$52,500) They are currently covering all expenses.
- They're not using 100% of the highest grade ore.!!
- Daily expenses: operationally speaking (fixed cost) $640,000, $217,000(I missed exactly what this was, I figure variable costs?). Later in the show they said monthly costs were ~$800k. This doesn't include debt service.
- "Hopeful with the most recent updated proforma they can prove they're a good candidate for LT financing."
- Loans backed by shares - Wouldn't say how many shares but did mention there were some loans backed by stock.
- Mcon: After the 75k they'll goto market price ($60-70). After the Massey obligation is met, 280 days at 800-1000 tons a day for open market sales.
- Pink Sheet compliant: Taken a back seat to getting the mill working but they are working towards becoming compliant. When will it happen? 1st Qtr next year.
- Share Buy Back? They will recapitalize (buyback or retire?) the company and they will not R/S.
- Dividends: This was mentioned at the end of the show and the discussion was cut show but I caught "too early to talk about it but the money "now" would be better spent on the company".
-Lucky
I was glad to hear them address most of the questions ya'll submitted to Charles and Bill Chippas!
I'll share my notes as soon as I clean them up a little bit.
Pervious interviews picked up ~23 min mark.
Try it now, they were on break for a lil bit.
Doesn't the float increase after restricted shares come off restriction? If so, that doesn't necessarily mean the company just sold a bunch of shares today...
I'm glad they hired a firm to prepare and provide those financials.
It would be nice to get a status update about that in today's interview.
Lucky

Thank you for pointing that out! Another green day for CPRK!
Please, let me get this straight - you're now saying the equipment might be calibrated incorrectly?
Is there no end to this?
After going back and re-reading the AMM report it doesn't state "concentrate". It says, "Copper King has been mining for probably about two years and stockpiling the ore".
It's good to have this much ore available and ready to be fed into the grinders!
Another exert from the AMM report, "1,200 to 1,500 tonnes of ore is going through the mill, generating 20 to 22 tonnes per day of copper concentrate".
Hope this clears everything up for you..??
Lucky
Still trying to play caught up here...
Has the company officially purchased the Eddy Gulch properties in CA? If not the DD period is right around the corner.
From the 19 Aug PR - "In an all-stock transaction, Colorado Goldfields will acquire the Eddy Gulch Properties in exchange for shares of Class A Common Stock. The acquisition is of course subject to mutual due diligence by both Colorado Goldfields and Eddy Gulch. The due diligence period extends to September 30, 2009."
Lucky
I haven't bought just yet. Still looking into the company to see if it's worth the risk.
Lucky
Hi everyone, I'm new to this board/stock and I'm currently sifting through the info available here. I’m considering investing in CGFIA.
I’m close by (Colo Springs) and if this turns out to be a worthwhile venture I’d love to check out their facilities.
Real quick could anyone share with me the current share structure? Specifically AS, OS and Float.
Also, how are they structured financially? Do they have long term or short term financing? Or… are they using their shareholders to pay for everything?
Thanks in advance,
Lucky
Nice day and a very nice week!
I can't wait to see what next week has in store for us :)
I do agree with many posters that we'll most likey see a surge in pps early on with a sell off towards the end of the week. But, (IMO) we will hold on to some nice gains.
Ya'll have a great weekend!
Lucky
A call for help that's not getting answered? LOL!
Lucky
Boy that list gets shorter and shorter....
+26% up today... not bad at all :)
Lucky
This is truly awesome news! IMO the PR could have waited until Monday but I speculate there were a ton of investors looking to get an update this week (which might explain why we’re getting the PR on a Thursday, 3 days before con shipment begins). The PR definitely puts to rest many issues and should ease the tensions that have been building for a few months.
We’re already up big and the volume is very heavy atm :)
Congrats to all the Longs!!!!! Go CPRK!!!!
Lucky
Thanks Nate for letting me know why this was getting deleted!
Here are four pictures taken over the last nine months. I've provided two sets, the first shown without any explanation (unmodified) and the second set with comments pointing to visible mining and extraction efforts.
Taken on 5 Feb 09
Taken on 26 Jun 09
Taken on 16 Jul 09
Taken on 9 Sep 09
Just a few observations about the Hidden Treasures Mine. It's unfortunate that all four of these pics weren't taken from the aerial view (this is why I included the original pics above).
5 Feb 09 - The "white" angled area is brought to your attention. In later photos you'll see that this area has been removed. Also notice the weathered color of the area.
26 Jun 09 - White area detailing further removal of ore.
16 Jul 09 - This photo shows how small the lower portion of the mine was back in Jun compared to the most recent photo (9 Sep).
9 Sep 09 - You see newly removed portions of the mine here. The bottom of the pit is notably larger. Prep work for future blasting.
A previous post implied that CPRK was not mining the Hidden Treasures mine. I believe the photos here show the truth..! (CPRK is actively mining as we speak).
Lucky
Candy, thank you for the info!
I for one have high expectations for this week. If memory serves me correctly Colorado said we should expect to have enough con for delivery by 15 Sep (tomorrow). If this doesn’t happen this week I’d be concerned. If we get out of Sep without a PR on con delivery, I’ll be upset to say the least.
We’re entering into the last three months of the year and we all know what January holds for us if we’re not delivering con shipments. I believe many Longs here have found the patience to brave this waiting period… it hasn’t been fun that’s for sure but we all know the opportunity this company has and some have bet heavily that it’ll succeed.
