Brother, can you spare a $50,000?
I'm glad you did well with real estate. I'm afraid to do anything because I'm afraid you're right about the bubble and the fact I have no money either. Maybe one day I will venture into real estate.
Peace
Thanks, TTT
I don't think he has much of a case, but I'm not with the PGA either

This board has crawled to a stop which is good I guess because it mirrors what's going on with the current market. Len, are still around?

Sounds like a good idea. Thanks
I was just wondering what he was thinking on the coming year... oil, housing and the economy in general.
Lentinman, are you still around?
Len, I'm not sure where you are these days but I hope you are doing well. If you happen to read this I was curious if you had any new predictions or thoughts?
Thanks
Don

The question is how long will this go on? We need our jobs back and that won't happen unless our dollar crashes or we do something about trade. We have regulation on just about everything but trade. The U.S. needs to regulate how many jobs American companies can send overseas. If that company moves to another country then put a tarriff on their goods coming into the United States. We can't compete with Chinese wages, and more and more jobs will be sent there esp. during deflation and high taxes. There is always a solution to a problem even if it may hurt for a while.

Okay here's another question that will probably get another dumb--- answer... Why is EMA's name off of the board's assistant moderator list? Did he quit, or did he get tossed?
Oh wait, he had to replace the Easter Bunny, right?

I don't know exactly. I heard there was always a law to prevent this but nothing was ever done. How does this play out for dealers outside of Iraq? I guess they can always get more dinars, or is this it? Any thoughts, EMA?
Dear Warka Clients,
http://www.warka-bank.com/inner.php?type=3&id=74
Almost all of Iraq's debt has been forgiven now, and the rest will be paid off soon if this keeps up. Now if only the UN will stop dragging their feet and let Iraq stand on its own two feet.
So 21 trillion is out there floating around?
Only 9 posts here today. Is that a sign something isn't going well?
Forrest Gump: "Lieutenant Dan got me invested in some kind of Iraqi Dinar thing. So then I got a call from him, saying we don't have to worry about money no more. And I said, that's good! One less thing".
I wish for the day I see this board lit up with posts saying the reval happened and we can go exchange our dinars 1 for 1.

It's nice that all the countries are forgiving Iraq's debt as well as giving them loans, but it won't help Iraq unless something is done to make the dinar stronger. The problem will continue over the years unless something is done now. Iraq will be one of the biggest oil/gas producers again soon, and they will live in poverty? A LOP will not do anything to help this war torn country. Iraq1370, sorry I was just ranting in general, not to you Sir.
Let's hope they restore some value to the Iraqi People's dinar that was taken from them years ago.
"There are a lot of criticism directed to the Central Bank, particularly in respect of auction sale of the dollar, for example, The Minister of Planning and Cooperation, Ali Baban, the auction of smuggling foreign currency out of Iraq What is your response?"
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ar&u=http://magazine.imn.iq/articles/view.13359/&ei=5IWZS-
We may never know the true numbers.
I still think we will see a reval of one penny. Most people will think that will be it and cash in their dinars. I also think it will be the start of many revals to come as their economy gets stronger and stronger. Could they start keeping the larger bills that will be turned in for the dollars? This would cause a shortage and the demand will rise for the dinar causing a domino effect. Eventually the dinar will lose the 3 zeroes and lower denominations will be released as the dinar gets stronger. I wouldn't be surprised to see .20 in a few years or less. The more the dinar rises the easier it will be to have kept the larger dinars at a penny.
This is just a guess on my part and my thinking could be wrong. The loans Iraq gets from the IMF etc. could be a part of this plan? However, why would they keep selling more dinars now? Again, just a guess.
I wish this Iraqi Dinar thing will come to pass. Tomorrow works for me.
Ema, do you know if we can buy Iraqi Stocks from the big names like etrade?
