Seeking Alpha has been bi-polar on its reporting of PAL. In one report they are simply awesome, in the next, simply toxic.
This event seems to be already baked into the palladium burger equation.
Digging up old news from a 2011 law suit that the market knows about. PAL got its financing with all this stuff factored in.
Maybe you were a class member? Or even an employee of the trial attorneys? That would explain a lot.
"On June 24, 2014, the Company entered into a settlement agreement, subject to court approval, related to the potential class action lawsuit disclosed on September 2, 2011."
Yes, our neighbor has a lot more credibility.
Greetings tick. Maybe we will drill the gold property some day.
But you see it's my money and its my risk with PAL.
I'm assuming that we are all adults here and taking risks? Any minors on I-Hub trading with their parents' money?
PAL is a legitimate company that is trading at its lows. For me, that is not a scam. And yes, if you don't understand how I-Hub works, you will lose your money.
So glad you are here to help us poor investors, willy winkie my dear boy (girl).
You of course, have no ulterior motives.
I'll be reading that report. I'm on your side. Otherwise, I would not be spending my time on this board "saving" others from their investment mistakes.
10 reasons why I've been accumulating PAL prior to earnings tomorrow morning.
1. Palladium at a 5 year high
2.South African mining strike.
3.less supply drives price up.
4.Price unseeingly goes up and its not calculated in the projected earnings.
5. stocks go up when they beat projections
6. Loss of the worker sent fear through the street.
7. stock is low. buy low sell high
8. There are other palladium stocks but this seems to be the best VALUE play at this moment before earnings.
9. I see this sector gaining traction in the near future.
10. I'm just being a PAL. Do your own homework as you should take anything on here with great skepticism.
GLTA.
I had tix for the LfC v. Olympiacos game, in Chicago, but alas, I couldn't go cause I'm in Europe now.
Did your son enjoy the games?
If you bought PAL at $2.00..... yeah it sucks..........I got in now.........so life is good. PAL is going higher and higher. Time to buy is when the blood is flowing in the streets.
Thanks, Stephanie.
That's Kai. He passed 5 years ago. He will always be my sensitive dobie boy.
Here's hoping for another dismal season for Man U.
Liverpool in the ascendency, once more.

Palladium Rises to 13-Year High on Expectations of Low Supplies
DOW JONES & COMPANY, INC. 10:38 AM ET 07/08/14
Palladium prices hit a new 13-year high Tuesday, as the market is faced with dwindling supplies of the metal in the aftermath of South Africa's miners' strike.
Palladium for September delivery, the most-actively traded contract, was recently up 0.6% to $873.75 a troy ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Prices climbed to $876 an ounce earlier in the session, the highest level since February 2001. Platinum, which is often mined together with palladium, was up 0.7% to $1,505.40 a troy ounce.
Investors believe the two metals, which are used mainly as a component in car-exhaust filters, are in short supply after a strike by South African miners halted production at several key mines for five months. South Africa is the world's largest producer of platinum and its second-largest palladium producer. Although the strikes ended in June, it will take several months for the mines to reach their former capacity.
Meanwhile, auto sales in the U.S., Europe and China are climbing. BMW AG was the latest car maker to report strong numbers, after the company announced Tuesday that it had sold more cars than ever before in the first half of the year, helped by strong demand in China.
"It's going to be awhile until everyone is back at work and producing, and inventories build up to previous levels," said Frank McGhee, head of precious metals at Integrated Broker Services. "The rally is starting to look a bit overdone, but that doesn't mean it can't continue."
Prices for platinum and palladium are up 9% and 24% this year, respectively.
In other markets, gold prices shuffled between gains and losses, as investors weighed a stronger U.S. economy against continued conflicts in Ukraine, Israel and Iraq. Some investors use gold as a hedge against political and economic uncertainty.
Gold for August delivery, the most-actively traded contract, was recently at $1,317.30 a troy ounce, broadly unchanged for the session. The contract has traded in a range of $1,315.60 to $1,325.70 an ounce Tuesday.
A pretty football song...............YNWA...What else would you expect from wanker fans.
Brazil vs Germany
Argentina vs Holland
Germany beats Brazil and is beaten by Holland in the final.
Bloody aussies!
Argentina and Brazil have stepped up their game! Both teams are playing (will be) w/o their big name strikers. My money is on Argentina, now that Neymar is gone and Thiago Silva misses the next game.
Wonder if the Netherlands and Germany can improve their performances? They'll have to otherwise it will be an Argentina v. Brazil final.
I hope Brazil beats Germany!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In September of 2012 I wrote a piece about the heroes of mining. The first person mentioned in the article was Carl Pescio from Nevada. Carl staked hundreds of properties in Nevada before joining forces with Vista Gold to form Allied Nevada in 2008. Allied did very well for years before needing to raise over $1.3 billion to build a processing plant to process 120,000 tonnes per day of sulfide material. That sort of money just isn’t to be found easily today and Allied Nevada slid over 90% from $45 a share in 2011 to just over $4 today.
Carl kept a few of the choice projects and did a deal with a tiny junior named Rimrock Gold (RMRK-OTCBB) on several project surrounding the ultra high-grade Hollister Mine northwest of Elko Nevada at the intersection of the Carlin Trend and the Northern Nevada Rift. When it was in production, the Hollister Mine produced 80,000 ounces of gold a year at a grade of 1.3 ounces per tonne.
Great Basin Gold operated Hollister until the company went into bankruptcy in 2012 because of their South African properties. The Hollister Mine was put up for auction and sold to Waterton Global Resource Management in early 2013 for $15 million. Waterton shut down mining at Hollister in late November of 2013 in order to focus on resource development drilling.
The Hollister/Midas deposits and surrounding projects now controlled by Rimrock Gold are in the nature of epithermal veins systems capped by sinters. I’ve tried in vain to find a good discussion of just what a sinter is because it has so much to do with the mineralization of both Hollister and the high-grade Midas mine nearby. This is the best and closest I could find.
Rimrock management feels their projects will be similar in nature to both Hollister and Midas but, due to uplifting, believe gold will be found nearer to the surface than at Hollister and Midas.
A sinter is nothing more than a cap of silica that overlies a hot water system similar to those hot springs at Yellowstone. Hot water seeps through cracks in the rocks until it starts to boil based on lower pressure and minerals that have been absorbed along the way precipitate out.
When the hydrothermal fluids contain silica, a sinter or cap of silica may form. This cap traps the hydrothermal fluids below it and that concentrates the minerals. So Midas has over 1 ounce of gold equivalent per tonne and Hollister has North America’s highest-grade deposit at 1.3 ounces of gold per tonne.

ps. Hey Smurf, great handle.
Yes, USA v. Belgium on July, 1st.
We play on..................screw the Germans.............
I know................he will miss the first 9 games of the EPL... and the first 3 Champions League games.......big bummer for Liverpool. Hopefully, Barca still wants him.
I will miss Suarez at Liverpool but getting $80 mill plus Alexis Sanchez will make me feel a lot better. The game must go on...too bad Suarez could have been a huge legend over at LFC.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpools-luis-suarez-still-transfer-3764829
In defense of Suarez.
Did Suarez go in and try to break someone's leg? Take em out of the game? If Suarez threw an elbow and bloodied an eye would that have been a nicer more acceptable foul? What about a Zidane head butt special?
So, where does biting fall in the scheme of nasty fouls?
For a busted leg Suarez would earn nothing but a yellow card. Come on, for Suarez biting is a form of fouling. We don't like it cause...its not a real manly- man foul. It is a form of bad sporting behavior....but its not a bone crushing tackle that damages a players career.
Liverpool now should sell Suarez to Real Madrid collect $40 mill and Alexis Sanchez.
Greece does it!
Positive cash flow now for PAL and will be operating in the black end of Q4.
The time to buy in is now while PAL is trading in the .30's.
Those bashing are either:
A. Trying to get cheap shares or
B. Clueless types looking for scams.
PAL is a little gold mine. Ride it up.
PAL shares or you can by Stillwater shares at around $16.00 bucks a share. Yes, this is a calculated risk. PAL is moving that's the signal to get on board.
Those are some wise fools. I got my shares of PAL. Do you?
"The problem with palladium's supply chain is that more than 80% of the world's palladium is produced by two countries: South Africa and Russia. Recently, both these countries have been dealing with problems that have affected supplies.
The latest labor dispute in South Africa is only unique due to its duration, lasting almost six months. Supply chain disruptions in the country are frequent. It seems we can't go more than a year without a strike, and when strikes are not crimping output, power supply issues rear their ugly head.
Historically, Russia could come to the rescue when the palladium market was in a shortage, but over the past decade Russia has not stepped up to the plate as much as it used to. According to palladium analysts this is because the country simply no longer has the palladium reserves to intervene. But, because Russia does not release stockpile data, it is anyone's guess why the country has stopped adding surplus palladium to the global market.
Adding more pressure on Russian supplies was the recent geopolitical tensions between the country and Ukraine. Western powers enacted, and have threatened more sanctions against Russia due to its actions in Ukraine. These sanctions had, and have, the potential to impact palladium exports.
Demand for palladium remains robust
Palladium's primary use is in the auto industry, as an auto catalyst. As the global economy has improved over the past couple of years, so have the demand expectations for the commodity.
A great deal of increased demand for palladium will come from emerging markets, which are currently undergoing a rapid increase in wealth. This increase in wealth means higher demand for more luxury items including cars and jewelry.
In addition, palladium is starting to see an influx in investment demand. Historically, palladium has not been as popular of an investment as its precious metal counterparts gold and palladium, but the metal's recent rally is attracting the attention of investors, and this is turn has resulted in more interest in physical-backed ETFs – which in turn has created more demand for the metal.
