This may just give Drumstick more to whine about... but I am begining to beleive that our sales in China were either somewhat disapointing or non-existant with the 45+ day delay in reporting them. - Thebouch
APH is a long term project IMO & if you are one to keep the S/P under a microscope you are in for an extended period of frustration! I can't see a prolonged positive upswing in share price going forward in the short term. This is just a startup company trying to keep it's momentem in an economic storm, and I feel Dr T.O has more or less chosen to advance the company while potecting the cash reserves. This has definatly slowed down our progress, but I still see us advancing to the point where we will generate positive cash flow & it is then that I see us making quicker strides forward. I took the position in this company with the understanding that it may take upwards of 5 years to truley have the plan come to fruition. Nothing has changed since day one, however I feel that the CEO has taken care of business to the best of his ability and positioned the company to move forward quickly when the economic enviroment allows. I support his decision and feel confident that in a reasonable time frame, those that saw the vision as Dr T outlined in his original letter to investors, will reap the rewards. "Patience is a virtue" is not just some catch phrase, in this instance it may also be the difference between major losses & major gains to some of us. I feel the frustration of those on this board & others but I keep my sanity by looking at the overall economic picture, and by reminding myself of my original goals & timeline. -Paul
Dr T does tend to keep his sence of humour durring these history making times! After all he has lost literly MILLIONS $$ of paper gains since Mar 4/08 !!! - thebouch
Just spoke to TB about Dr T Owen running for Council in New Westminster BC - He did not have any knowledge of Dr T's political ambitions when they last spoke just prior to todays update. He will be calling him right back to get some questions answered. I am not one to find fault with someone trying to make a difference in todays' society through the political arena, but IMHO we need the CEO of Alda focused on getting this pharma up & running. It is in these uncertain times that shareholders look to managment for leadership and I must now for the first time since July of 07 question myself as to the possibility that Alda's CEO may not be giving his full attention & energies to our end goal. Unless you are an exceptional individual, you wouldn't concider taking on two VERY time consuming positions of CEO for a developing company & that of a City Councilor in a city of some 60,000 people. I will post again if TB gets some answers. - thebouch
Frustration with the share price is one thing...but suggesting that Alda is sitting by and doing nothing could not be further from reality. We are in the middle of an economic crisis of Biblical proportions. The only prudent thing for the company to do is to proceed with the building of the buisness model while preserving the cash on hand the best that they can.(We apparently could weather this storm for close to two more years without futher cash & that is without any sales of our own) Junior companies without cash in their accounts will be finding it next to impossible to raise funds without giving the company away. We are in great shape to not only survive this economic storm, but to also use this time to advance the company on various fronts. You are going to see scores of juniors without cash go under durring the comming months/years.
With no info comming out from Alda we will possibly see a further decline in SP but in reallity were you going to sell at .25 or .30 or .35???? Just sit back and let those who must sell at this level do so & the SP will fall to what ever the market will bear. Our time is not close at hand... our time is when the markets start to rise again & fear is once again replaced by hope & even greed. If the SP is at .12 or .20 makes little difference to me. I'm not inclined to sell at either price, and all the while I'm sure Dr T.O. is building more value into our company. Your last sentence has me scratching my head a little tho...You suggest that if APH can't do anything to improve the situation , that they should then sell out to a larger pharma..you stated"I certainly wouldn't want them to sell at this price" Do you think in this economic enviroment that there is a company out there willing to buy into APH at $1-$2 Sh??? Try to relax Nothing goes up for ever & nothing goes down for ever. - the bouch
I wonder if you would then care to share with us your insights on the s/p of our beloved APH going forward 3 -6 - 12 months . (I enjoy looking back to see if people who gloat can be prolific at prognostication or if indeed they are just one hit wonders) thebouch
Cosmo - do you have any stocks that are not down 10% today? I don't , please let us all in on any magic formula you have for picking winners on -600 point days. Please hurry that info, my portfolio needs your help fast - Paul
OTC is a foot in the door and only a small portion of what I view here as baby steps toward an end goal. Markets in general will be deciding factor over what may prove to be an extended period of uncertainty. Alda, in spite of what I see as a unique and needed product may very weel flounder even on good news & building profits untill this US wave washes by.- GL Cosmo - Paul
If all goes well we may look back at this N/R as the first step in getting the SP back to respectability. Looking ahead Oct should prove to be the turning point in our company. If the US votes this next plan into law we may get a bit of a rest from the daily rollercoaster ride we have been accustomed to lately. With respect to Alda Short term, we can expect not only some idea of sales in China, but also if more is required for our US listing (Oct 25th I believe) - We could very well be on the OTCBB by end of month. We are now aware of the name of the MM - Looked on internet and found the firm Pennaluna to be very small yet very old. Hope they know what they are doing !!!. Several of our products will be ready to hit the shelves by months end as well. So needless to say, I'm also expecting to see some sort of N/R regarding placement of product prior to Nov.- One step at a time. - Paul
Good post surfinNj - nice to get an American view as well.! On the big picture, I can see some more MAJOR turbulance ahead until the markets can get a handle on the bailout plan(S). With this kaos and uncertainty the junior markets will feel the longer version of this pain. With this in mind I see no quick fix to the APH situation. IMO there is no way in hell TO can turn this ship around in the current storm. I feel we are more or less going to stay at the level to which people who understand Alda's potential will let it sink. This may turn out to be .15c per/sh, possibly lower if the next bailout gets dragged out too long & with it further errosion of confidence within the investment comunity. Stickly as an APH investor, I am still unsure if I prefer a bailout at this time which may just extend the life cycle of the underpinning problem in the financial sector, or would we prefer to let the chips fall where they may & attempt to pick up the pieces after the quicker demise of the banking system.
Are you sure you have enough shares for that last item surferdude????HAHAHAHA - See we can still keep our composure & humour in the face of this adversity. We will prevale lad - count on it ! - Paul
TICK>>>TICK>>>TICK>>>I'm growing older... I'd still like to be young enough to spend this money Terry !!! - The old man
Thanks for taking the time & effort DS ! My money is on the patient Dr.(LOL) When I got into this investment a year ago last July I held a three-five year window on my gamble. Things are not as I wish them to be, but I have the faith in three things here. 1) The product (Most important) 2) The leadership of the company (and his ability to resist the temptation to drive this companies S/P is these mad times) 3)And my own experience - which tells me that no market goes up forever & conversly no market goes down forever! - Call me insane but I can honestly tell you that even with the markets in the shambles that they are today, if given the decision of taking $1.57 a share or taking what I believe Alda will be trading at near the end of my 3-5 yrs window... I would choose the latter.Keep the faith and someday people hearing your APH story will refer to you as an investor with vision & balls of steel. (sorry to all the ladies on board !!) Put this investment away - don't even look at it for a couple of months - you are not going to sell at these levels now anyway - why torment yourself (and those of us who still read your entries!!) - Paul
This might be a good time to start the upswing Dr T - Paul
In my "Perfect" world, APH would need a good chunk of cash to begin an advertising campain. The amount of cash would depend on how large an area that is to recieve this barage. If they begin regionaly it might not take all that much money & when/if sales start to increase they would/could roll that cash flow back into further increasing the size of thier targeted area. Thus controling the burn rate somewhat. This is not the best approach IMHO but may be the required approach if the raising of capital becomes problematic due to an extended period of market downturn. I would believe at this point, that we will see some kind of plan from TO shortly. We do not want to miss the Flu season as I see this as the best time to introduce a new & improved version of bacterial/viral control.- Paul
I saw that as well Janet - makes one wonder at least a little what the project he was so enthrald with the day the markets started to fold . The delaying of N/Rs can be debated until the cows come home. However it is still nice to hear that the Company is working towards other milestones that will be useful when 'our' time is upon us. Will we see the polar opposite image of our friend Mr Drumstick !! Paul
What was expected by that question.. an answer of "Yes I break the law whenever it suits the company" - The man is no idiot - Paul
Cosmo IMHO you are missing the larger picture here. The hand sanitizer is only the first step in building profits here. The applications that T36r may be capable of are the real deal. Hand sanitizer will provide cash flow and much needed exposure to all the right institutions, also to buy time in order to exploit more complicated uses for this unique composition. What most are hoping for here(IMO) is that TO can prove the product then find a larger Pharma who has the vision to see how T36r would fit in synergisticaly with a larger Pharma's productline. Good luck to all those who may decide that the wait & gamble are not in thier best interest at this time. - Paul
Drumstick - if you go into anything DON'T PUT IT "ALL" IN ! Diversify and in this market enviroment you had better be sniping at very obvious oversold situations - Good Luck with that & JMHO leave the venture market as I see more downside here over short term - - For everyone else intent on staying the course - our time will come.. Paul
SurfinNj I share your growing frustration as well. However mine is tempered with the realization that Alda can not fight the spiral of downward energy that the TSX-v has been experiencing for these last few months. We still see very little volume from our company and our market seems to be going down 2-5 % on an almost daily basis. As ugly as .35c is - we still are holding our own out there & knowing that no market goes down (or up) forever is at least some comfort. The company is not standing still & I'm sure when the market does it's about-face we will be prepared to take our shot at new highs. - Don't lose the faith brother. - Paul
Sorry if I confused the issue of "trolling"with Red Bull , it was not meant as such. The Trolling paralell was a shot at MMN for going on Agoracom with a post of -Come see what I've got on TCC, only to lead a group of APH faithful to a locked door. - (Don't take this at all as a slam at TCC per say, I will probably join sooner than later, but refuse to on MMN's marketing scheme) - Paul
Live long and prosper !
I'm not denouncing the hard work that members of the different BB's put into the DD that goes on in formulating investment strategies pertaining to companies such as Alda. As well most who invest in penny stocks would be well served by an investment of $20/month to obtain info on the gambles that they make. Furthermore after being on TCC for close to a year now I do realize the Chief has done an amazing amount of work to achieve his plan thus far.-I'm not even saying that I won't become a (paying)member in the future. However it won't be because someone is holding me for ransom. This info is readily available with just a short E-mail to the CEO of our company, although I'm sure he wastes much too much of his time answering the same questions over-&-over again on a weekly basis. Perhaps MMN would be better served had he shared his juicy bits in the private confines of the Chat room designed for privacy, rather than attempt to drum up more TCC subscribers by trolling on other BB's for them! Nothing against the man himself but it looks to me like his primary focus is on membership rather that APH share price. To each their own however. Oh and by the way, "if membership has it's privileges", I guess any who pay for these juicy bits have then bought the right to deseminate them on other forums as they chose to. My sole purpose on these boards is to advance my investments by presenting my information/opinions/insights to any who may find them of use. For most that follow APH , the name TechnicalBuy instantly grabs your attention. He once belonged to TCC but was run out of town. I don't see him charging a fee for insight into his conversations with Mr Owens
Hey surfnj- MNM has gone as far as request under suggestions, that they implament a new button on the RED BULL to make paste & copy more difficult to do. Seems to me he has lost his direction a little and is taking part in the building up of the TCC membership to the direct detriment of APH share value. What better way is there to build a stronger share price then to deliver pertanent , TIMELY, accurate company generated info to the investment community at large!!!? I once put that question to him in a PM and it was obvious where his immediate interest was - not in sp but proving his worth to the TCC Mngt. Info should belong to the investors of Alda. Does this MNM truly believe that we would be better served by a CEO that had to take time from his real purpose in life right now, the advancing of all our interests, to answer litterly 100's of E-mails weekly all asking the same 10 -12 similar questions. Forming a group of a dozen questions is not rocket science my fellow APH follower. Why tie TO up all day on the computer just because you want to deliver your special report to your paying audience?
Seems to be a steady stream of people still ready to unload the shares of APH at .44-.46 Might be time for a little NR to blow away the resistance at this level - Paul
Thanks Surfnj - that post was very well appreciated. IMHO we will need fairly heavey volume to keep momo heading north today (with no announcement) Seems odd to me that the MM was not mentioned in those Q & A's - may come this week & was left off list on purpose. HHMMNN - GT today folks - Paul
Hey Surfnj have a restful vacation - looks like the excitement is going to build here over the next short while as predicted - the bouch
Was anyone on this board able to post MNM's " top secret "post from TCC called "Rumour"? TIA - Paul
Not looking very sharp so far!! LOL
Live long and prosper !
Just because elephants live longer than 100 years don't think they live forever!! LOL My advanced age makes the near term increase in APH all the more critical. I retire in 5 yrs 3 months and this pharma may make those retirement years all the more enjoyable. It also looks as this baby is going to behave much the way I predicted 3 weeks ago. That being a strengthening from .29c to near .40 just before Labour day on fairly low but ever increasing daily volumes. I think the begining of next week (With the help of the markets in general)will signal the official start of the next "greed" phase with beleivers starting to leap-frog bids to re-position themselves in time for the N/R's most understand are imminant.- Enjoy the weekend all - after all can anyone tell me the last weekend we enjoyed after a winning week in APH?-Paul - PS I'm in the Janetcanada sweepstakes at 32 years LOL
I got ripped off - post 1958 disappeared (just like the fear of buying APH is doing as we speak !!!) 5 more trading days left in summer session after today - not that I'm counting LOL - the bouch
Couldn't resist - humour me (I was born in 1958 so I'll take this post LOL - Could see a little softer price seeing as it is Friday today & we saw a 13% increase yesterday - GLTA - Paul
A little firmer here at .34 but only 30,000K+ entering into the power Hour (3-4) The Next 60 mins may tell what tomorrow holds in store! - Paul
If those interested in accumulating a position at these levels have the same basic belief that I have, that we will start the promotion of APH shortly after Labour day. We will begin to see a S/P increase in value as time starts to become a factor. Already we have begun to see a pent up demand in the .30c level. This IMO will be followed shortly by a leap frogging of current bids in order to fill at the lowest price. As I write this a mere 77,000 shares stand between current price and .44. This will easily be taken out at the begining of any real N/R. With just 6 more trading days left of the summer session & with so few shares avail. I would not be too complacent at this point if it were my intention to fill a heavy position in Alda. - Paul
Don't have much faith in this poster to be honest. He/She is all over the place one post saying what a great company we have here, the next suggesting TO is incompetant/unfocused /with Mngt having a lack of concentration and implied if the patents had not beeen "given out" to APH he would now think this was a "Scam" company. I will stick to my original post of several weeks ago, when IMHO I stated that it would probably be after labour day before we see any real movement in SP. I think I also allowed for a S/P climb to about .40c prior to end of summer session as people in the know re-position themselves for the next push north bound. Time will tell but only 8 more trading days till the end of the summer session. - Paul
I agree SN & had this conversation with MNM once before in a PM but I think he wants to keep his info secret for only the paying customers of TC. My take is, the more investors are allowed the insight of the CEO the more it will help APH in the end. He rejected this view as not important, oh well, to each thier own !! Thanks again. Paul
Thanks Surfin for picking off that update when not all could view it at it's origin... Backs up my opion that the company will sit till after labour day. Only 11 more trading days till then - Paul
Have a great vacation!!! - Check into a drug store once a week and you will probably see our first products on the shelves before you head back home !!(You won't need the internet at that point to know that we are having lots of fun back here too) - Enjoy - Paul
Hey D.S./Surfin - Can't help but think Dr O will just let things ride now until Labour Day when all the money comes back to work. Could be wrong if something "HAS" to be announced. (Out of Alda's control) But IMO we sit and relax another 4-5 weeks. - Paul
Hi Cosmo - Shortly to me...? with regards to APH would be prior to the end of summer. Bear in mind that many variables can influence our outcome here. IF the markets continue to at least hold their own & not continue to erode investor confidence any further I could see us somewhere between .50-$1.00 by Labour day. To escape being called a sensless "Pumper" I will define the reasons for this Share price escalation. 1. IMO we will see our US listing at least announced by the end of summer. This does not necessarily mean instant rise in SP but increases the number of possible investors in the pool by 1000%. 2. With this new found exposure to Alda's product possibilities there will be many more investors trying to join in on the next upswing, many of whom will have never heard of APH prior to the new listing. I believe that these new buyers will be able to pick up those shares that are ready to be dumped by investors that are tired of waiting for the price to head north. 3. With only 50 MM s/o the value of the company can be increased very quickly with the proper news & promo. Unlike other posters who have stated their belief is that the DIN is at least a year away, IMHO we should see it within the next couple of months as well. I have no concrete info on this but am drawing this asumption from info recieved from a member of my family quite familiar with the process. (Works for a major Drug company and has overseen many DIN aplications.) This timing can also become unatainable if the government official responcable for our DIN is off on vacation half the summer. In closing... If the DIN is aproved before summer's end & our US listing has been anounced by Labour day we will see $1.00 share by then (remember JMHO and full of IF's and variables)-Paul
Live long and prosper !
I hope TD has unloaded their full load of APH - Yesterday as I watched the trades executed I saw TD sell at least 150,000 shares of APH in less than 1.5 hrs. With blocks of 50,000 at a time hitting the bid there was absolutly no finesse used in the transactions. Why would an individual trade like this? He probably cost himself close to $5,000 by not being a little more intuned with the trading volumes of late. Hope we don't have to listen to too many whiners who sold out in the last couple of days at these "give-a-way" levels when this company turns around shortly - Paul
