Nice cover for your mistake there......
OH please, thats so simple, I can't believe you asked it. In 2003 the were a small group of people a fair amount of whom held a LARGE number of units. When the crap hit the fan with the lawsuits, hurricane damage, lack of foreseeable revenue etc., THEY SOLD! The resulting share were purchased in much smaller lots by a much larger group such as this group that wanted a free lotto ticket or those that just plain didn't know any better, they were more widely distributed is all,. NO BIG mystery................
well you have to make your witness lists public and available to all parties in this country, so who do you have, where is this smoking gun??? cough it up!...... And taking internal documents from a company when you leave is THEFT, plain and simply. Information acquired and presented by thieves will most likely be thrown out.
Because YOU have a ton of legal fees you must cover.
To answer your question on can PXD afford to put up a bond or cash, here are the complete numbers projected into 2012.

Ron, have a nice weekend, it's always fun talkin to ya............lol
Why not under the TERMS of the agreement they get back every penny from any settlement or court decision ahead of ALL OTHER INTERESTS. MESA backed it up with the assets and any future settlement.
my sources say we will have a new agreement next week, and they are GOOD sources. Lets wait two weeks and see just for good measure shall we, in any case like you and MOSH I am not selling my stock. You can gloat if you wish...but it won't change my mind on that, just as I cannot change yours. Undeclared capitol gain or loss is meaningless till you declare it.
They are obligated to keep nothing beyond what the SEC and the IRS ask for by law. There is no law that says you need to keep your big bad conspiracy files, the whole point to something like that is to NOT document it, why would you??
how is 125% yoy revenue growth that beats analysts estimates considered bad earnings?????
MOSH has $4 million in debt and no positive revenue at all.
I doubt that they have any knowledge whatsoever of the inner workings at PXD beyond the deal on the well. I worked for a large division of Square D for years, we had MANY partners on multi million dollar projects and NOT ONE had access to our internal memos, plans, politics or e-mail. Such data would have to come up from within. A judge can order it released, but when you don't know whats there to begin with your pretty much stuck with PXD's word for it.
Its hedge funds selling of to cover withdrawals, they are doing it to the entire energy complex, when they are done selling ENERGY as a whole will recover. Where do you think all those MOSH shares are coming from?
they could fabricate ANYTHING that has not previously been filed in a prospectus, press release or with the SEC over the years and NO ONE WOULD EVER KNOW, how could they, without a past reference????? IF PXD TRULY hatched this scheme, why stop now????
easily
do you truly believe any such memos would STILL exist??? If they ever existed at all? No whistle blowers have stepped forward and they have had years to clean up their files. Your post seems to indicate they were smart enough to hatch this big conspiracy but not smart enough to erase the memos, what kind of logic is that?
You are hoping for selective stupidity on the part of management....
why not????, they have 10 billion dollar market cap and hard assets worth billions.
careful dude, when you ask hard questions like that the whole group will turn on you and accuse you of being me...... the answers you get ought to be amusing.
Pffft, I can afford to wait, pretty much to the end of time on that one, I'm just not hurting that much here you know what I mean? It's not like I'm loosing a digit here. But if I get down to 7 I'll let you know.......
And those big blocks of 10000 came from where? Why are people selling, those shares didn't just come from air, someone is trying to unload, thats my opinion........Everyone seems so happy about this but I think your all being set up for a fall here, be careful.......
Looks like a classic pump and dump to me.......
Technicals indicate MOSH should plunge back to .25, I would hold on buying if your new here.
Some of the smart money is probably Dumping shares...in other news, will PXD mention MOSH this month? http://biz.yahoo.com/e/080905/pxd8-k.html
Update on West Delta property, has anyone got any info on this? is it undamaged? http://www.rigzone.com/news/hurricanes/gustav_map.asp?m=Wind_FPS
Actually the answer is yes, and yes because your all so EASY to stir up, its just too much fun watching Ron defend the stock against every post I make like the rest of you can't figure it out for yourselves or something, He is the most fun of all. Free man is a good for laugh with "don't respond to my posts" also. And Vol, well he's just plain angry, my advice to him would be, pick up a job a a merc so you can get it out of your system. Smiles with his dysfunctional English translator program is another laugh a minute, or at least I hope that's a translator program! The only ones that seems to have a grasp on reality are CA$h,Mike White and the Cork.
"Sometimes in order to improve morale you have to fire all the unhappy people." Jack Welch retired Chairman GE.Companies don't send our jobs to foreign countries, greedy Unions do
The Mesa Offshore Trust represented as MOSH on the OTCBB has not written any letters to the judge about that, nor have they purchases seismic data from a third party! Please stop telling us the trust is suing PXD. It is very annoying.
PXD is being sued by MOSH holdings LP, a group of 12 unit holders. MOSH holdings is a private entity and does not represent the Mesa Offshore Trust, ticker symbol (MOSH)
It would be a real twist if the courts incompetence leads to a mistrial.
Your assessment is correct, looks like MOSH's remaining revenue source will dodge the bullet. We will know when crews get out there by Wednesday. Brazos 39A is on the outer band of the "good" side of the hurricane(that where the wind flows south off of land). West Delta is also on that side ( in the western eye wall), it will catch the eastward wind flow off eye wall later today however, so it is not out of the woods yet, but it can probably ride this out.
Congrates on your good luck.
Refineries are probably the play now, as crack spreads will widen due to high demand and low supply from the shut in.
Good news and bad news, after researching MOSH well locations I have learned, that Brazos well should fare pretty good, they appear to be outside the Hurricanes path. West Delta properties are dead center in the projected Hurricane path.
Does anyone have an idea what this production shut in for Gustov will do to our revenue and production numbers this month??, some of you must track this. From what I have seen this has gone right across the midway platform.
It sounds like one should invest in Plywood and Medical supplies Tuesday then. It looks like the Governor is going to order evacuation so any lives lost should be minimum, hope everyone is smart enough to move this time.
Your conclusions are all wrong, Im sorry. The jury cannot award for anything that is a result of the Weather. MOSH HAS been producing revenue and it has been set aside each month for ongoing abandonment expenses for which MOSH must pay the operator. The loan is legal, approved by MOSH and must be paid back or MOSH will have to file for bankruptcy.
The reply was to a comment about MOSH being to repair Possible Hurricane damage out of a possible settlement or court award, my point was if that should happen there will be less money for shareholder as it will be going into repairs. Context is important.....
So less money for share holders in the short term if it must go to rig repairs and make up lost revenue to pay the loan? Interesting analysis, Bravo for seeing that.
The truth about Mercury contamination in the gulf. You'll be happy to know, that PXD will probably not be able to use this as an excuse. Just the facts.

Still no solutions, Who will step up to operate MOSH properties when this is done, it's a simple question.
That all takes revenue, MOSH has little or none at this point, once they throw out the operator, who they gonna call, ghostbusters? MOSH will be like a leper after this NO ONE will want to work with a group that bites the hand feeding it.
Looks right on track to me. One should not rely on a single model. Also main stream media tends to be more accurate.

thanks for pointing the spelling error out, I have corrected it. And no one wishes harm from a storm, but one should learn that there will be profit made off them if you know where to look or invest, sad but true. Jim Cramer once said "If you feel bad about your profits donate them to the Red Cross."
UP date on Hurricane track.
All 15 weather service models now have Gustov head straight into Gulf off shore Oil and Gas installations, here's your proof, I don't make this up just report it to you.

Things change, the appeals court, the only one that really counts here may change things shortly. Pinning ones hope on one court is almost as foolish as pinning ones hope on one stock. Most experts would say don't do it.
Appeals courts exist to correct the mistakes of lower courts.
I understand completely that the trial is unrelated to the Hurricane, but this IS the MOSH Board. You know the Trust, The stock. If there is significant damage the trust will almost certainly be history and be desolved, NO MATTER WHAT THE TRIAL OUTCOME. It will be the end of MESA.
The trial may go on but MESA could very shortly become a thing of the past.
That is MY ONE and only point here, please don't confuse MEASAs survival with the trial outcome.
