Can you provide any documentation?
My pleasure. ;0)
Yes, the lawsuit was allegedly filed in August, 2009, involving $5,500. See post #34022. The amount was also restated a few days later as $6,050. See post #34059. Originally it was stated as being filed against "him", meaning Steven Aronstein. Later it was stated as being against Somatic Systems. Whatever the amount is, in California any case involving less than $10,000 is handled in Small Claims Court. From what I've read, in Massachusetts claims involving less than $7,000 go to small claims court.
As previously discussed on this board, the lawsuit in question was only over an alleged $5,500 personal loan which was advanced to Aronstein so that he could attend the Battlefield Healthcare Conference years ago. 2009, I believe. We're not talking about a major lawsuit here. And no court documents have yet been produced to verify any of it.
That's right, Jahiles. They would need to reinstate with the Nevada SOS, which would require fees of $45,100. And they would also need a market maker.

Sure does!
Odds are against it.
Once again, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary I must consider this to be just another false rumor about the company. This is the second one in two weeks. In the future please provide a link to substantiate such claims.
You'd hear no complaints from me, that for sure! ;0)
Nor could I, Jahiles. I did see that the website still lists only one retail store location.
http://somatics.org/shop/catalog/retail-store
I see that Somatics just had another training class in New York on August 16th through the 20th.
http://somatics.org/events
But I can't find any mention of a store purchase. Could you please link to this, Brittany? Thank you.
We've had a number of false rumors about SMAS over the years, and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary I consider this to be just another one.
You are going to provide nothing to back this up? No evidence? No explanation? Nothing?
Can you provide proof that Steve said he intends SMAS to file for bankruptcy?
You're welcome.
It's true that it is rare for stocks to come off the grey market and trade normally again, but it does happen. I'm not saying this will happen with SMAS, but it is not impossible. Years ago I compiled a partial list of such stocks. In order to avoid off-topic conversation on this board I will post that list in the IBox (Intro page) for any who wish to check it out.
Mimi Walters, the wife of Monarch Staffing's CEO, is quite a piece of work.

Thanks for posting that!
Volume could double! ;0)
We're rich! ;0)
Good work, and thanks for posting those. And I agree with you that he has treated his investors reprehensibly, and it pisses me off too.
Good morning, Jahiles. Got up, got myself together, got the cats fed, and got your reply. Thanks for the dates, and for doing all this research. And thanks for doing what no one else has ever been able to do, which is get me to finally join FaceBook. ;0) I appreciate it, and definitely don't doubt your veracity at all. My FB account doesn't show the messages on his page that you mentioned, but I believe you saw them. I have no reason to doubt you at all. It may be as you say that they only show up on your business account. Regardless, I'm sure Steve is involved with this Whole Solutions company. I can see the evidence right there on his FB page because he links to its website on his contact page. Furthermore Steve lists his languages as English and Latin, and the Whole Solutions site has a whole section in Latin. Now, that's something you don't see every day!
So I'm coming to some tentative conclusions here. As you discovered, Whole Solutions lists the 32 Masonic address. Remember the poster who discovered that Somatics had moved out of that address last year? Steve seemed annoyed that investors had discovered this move when I contacted him about it, and said he had intended to announce it later himself. But he never mentioned anything about what organization was going to be moving in. It's looking to me like he was simply moving the Somatics headquarters out to make room for his other business. Kind of moving Somatics off the back burner to an even more remote back burner. And if so, he likely didn't want to tell SMAS investors this. I could be wrong, of course. Just speculating, but it's looking that way to me. If so this would also suggest that the other poster who posted that Somatics was "evicted" from that address was wrong. He never did provide any evidence to back up that claim, and I have always suspected because it wasn't an eviction. It would now seem Steve just wanted the space for his other business.
So far it doesn't appear to me that Steve has "left" Somatics for this other company, or given up on Somatics. And on 8/30/2012 he posted about Somatics, and linked to a page that includes upcoming Somatics events on 6/29/2013 and another next year. I just think he's got several pokers in the fire at the same time. The frustrating thing about SMAS is that the stock just sits there on the gray market year after year with no market makers, few trades, and thousands of dollars required to reinstate Somatics Inc. with the Nevada SOS. But at the same time the Somatics website remains active, and the company occasionally has activity. Frustrating! I'd like to see the stock trade again. I know there are those who would like to see SMAS de-listed and Aronstein in jail. While it might be personally satisfying for some to see that, I don't see how it would help those who still have money tied up in SMAS. So here we are, hoping against the odds that something good will happen. Who knows? It appears Aronstein has money and other prospects, and he says he wants to revive the stock. Of course he's been saying that for quite some time....
Anyway, I will continue to try to find those specific messages you mentioned. I do notice that messages on his FB page can be copied, so maybe you could post them that way.
Thanks again.
Ah, I'm starting to figure out Facebook. I found Steve's messages. I noticed a number of fairly recent ones about Somatics. So maybe if you could give me the dates and titles of the messages about Whole Solutions that you mentioned I could find them. Thanks.
Ok, I got into Steve's Facebook page, and I see a number of links under contact information including links for Somatics and for Whole Solutions. Now help me out. Where do I find these messages you mentioned?
Thanks. It says the content is currently unavailable. I'll try again later. Am going out right now, but will look into this as best I can. Thanks for your work. Good sleuthing!
Thanks. I don't have a Facebook account, so would I still be able to view this info? If not, is there any way you can link to it?
Jahiles, if you go back on this board to post #42060 you will see that an investor discovered that Somatics moved out of the 32 Masonic address in April of 2012. If you follow the posts after that, you'll see in post #42062 that I subsequently inquired and got an e-mail response from Aronstein saying that they had moved. He gave me a temporary address of 351 Pleasant Street, Suite B #314, Northampton, MA. 01060-3900. Another poster made the assertion that Somatics was "evicted" from its former location, but the poster never provided any evidence to back up his assertion, despite my repeated requests.
Aronstein told me he was going to correct the website to reflect the new address, but I see that he still hasn't done so more than a year later. The website still lists the 32 Masonic address.
So this leaves me wondering what is going on, since we on the board were under the impression that he is no longer at that address. You mentioned in your two posts today that you saw where Steve made many posts about the company at the 32 Masonic address, and that it appears to you that he is involved with this company. Can you share that source with us? How is Steve involved with that company, and what makes you believe he is doing this now instead of Somatics?
Oh, of course. Sorry. It was the other message that was by phone.
Thanks.
Yes indeed, Jahiles18, there are many similarities. Thanks for posting about your recent conversation with SMAS CEO Steven Aronstein. And thanks also to Hckyguy for reposting the conversation with Aronstein from three years ago. In many ways it's Déjà vu all over again. For purposes of comparison I have copied both posts into this message.

That is good! I have emailed/posted through FB. My girlfriend finally got a response. Here It is
Sammy,
We appreciate your interest in the stock as well as what we do. We're sorry to hear about your experience with pain meds. That is one of the many reasons Somatics is so important.
Maybe Somatics can help you with your pain. Can you tell us more about what you are struggling with? We can see if we can be of help -- there is no reason to struggle with pain (even if you could take medication) if it can just be gotten rid of altogether!
Regarding the stock, we don't usually correspond about the public operations on Facebook -- as these FB pages were created to serve customers and promote and educate about the benefits of Somatics, not the company's business -- and many people who are interested in Somatics are very disinterested in business talk.
However, we appreciate your respectful inquiry and we know you've reached out to us a few times, so we want to make sure you get your answers. We don't know how new you are to the stock, so we don't know what history you know: The short story is that a few years ago, the stock lost it's market makers -- which is why it's in the state you describe as being gray market. There is nothing wrong with the company or stock and it has not been penalized or expelled in anyway -- it really is just difficult to trade fluidly and quickly b/c no market makers on it means it can't traded in the usual unsolicited fashion.
This is obviously not the state we'd like the stock to be in. However, it is a lot of work to get market makers quoting a stock again once they stop if you do so honestly and legally. The economy and the market of the past few years had made that a lot harder still. We have been working on it, and it is a slow process unless we have some big event(s) that increase our demand.
So, as we have been working methodically and patiently on the stock side of things, we have also been devoting most of our time to operate and grow the company regardless -- as this is not only important for all people we help and for the future of Somatics and pain care -- but it is also productive towards getting markets maker support and shareholder value. We have tripled our training campuses and are working on several other significant and lucrative projects -- and we've done that without raising any more money or any other support from trading.
We hope those are some indicators of our intentions and our integrity, as well as the future prospects and potential of the company. We have not lied to shareholders, we have not misused funds, and we have not exploited the company -- the people who work here are deeply dedicated to Somatics, and often work at great personal sacrifice. The future of the company is bright and already has a proven record of success and growth. However, the trading aspect of this has not been able to reflect this reality in recent years. We are confident that that this will change -- and shareholders will then be able to reap the benefits of our hard work we did while not trading once healthy trading resumes. We are confident this will change in the near future, and our goal continues to be to achieve this as soon as possible. Since several components of this are not under our control, we can not promise a specific time frame. However, we are working on several projects right now that promise to raise the profile of the company later this year, so we do also have confidence that trading will resume this year as well.
So, yes, we do expect the stock to trade again, and we do not think there is relatively much waiting left to be done. We do know you have all had to be patient, and understand that further patience is difficult. We thank you for that.
The best consolation I can offer is that you should try our work -- call us for help. The real benefit, value, and evaluation of the future of Somatic Systems is experiencing and understanding our product -- and its unprecedented and unparalleled treatment for pain and injuries that no one else can cure.
Thank you again for your continued patience and enthusiasm for our work. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
And there you have it. If it is bs or not I am really not sure.

Tiles- I spoke with Steve Aronstein yesterday. Although a little "salesman" like, I felt like he was being sincere, plus they pulled him out of a meeting to speak with me. I give them credit for that availability.
I took notes on what he said, he speaks a little quickly, but I will tell you I am going to hang out here for about 3 months or a little longer. By the way he talks, things sound like they are going to be amazing, the truth and trust in that I dont know, I guess we will see how first qtr. goes. Below are the things he had told me yesterday.
1)The fake press release had gotten many people worried and the SEC (or whoever put on the suspension, I cant remember right now) will act many times before they have proof.
2)The suspension has been lifted completely and it takes a few days for it to catch up.
3)Now that the suspension is lifted they are waiting for MM's to come back to the stock then all will be good again.
4)SMAS is in the middle of some plans (wouldnt say what plans) that will definitely come to fruition shortly (in 1st qtr.)
5)Mentioned all that is coming to fruition will definitely have an upside for the shareholders within 3 months.
6)They are working with the military here near me in Denver and I have heard that also from another company here that a family memeber works for (so I now believe it is true that they are working with the military).
7) I didn't tell him which board I had heard the negatives on, but he kept mentioning i-hub and mentioned that I do my best not to be influenced by all of the negative commentary floating around i-hub.
I guess the way I look at it is, to me it sounded sincere, I, at .0001 have no reason not to believe it as we really cant go anywhere but gone. So I will hang in there and see if I can gert something out of my millions of shares!
GLTYA hopefully MM's come back and we can get this to move! Happy New Year to everyone too!
Thanks.
Jahiles18, thank you very much for your efforts, and congratulations on your success in getting a reply! I have stickied the post. It seems consistent with what he has said before, but also contains some new information. Time will tell if things happen this year. As always the good news is that the company continues to function. So we'll see. Again, thanks for your efforts.
I just went to the site. He used to ignore my messages. Then out of the blue I got a reply. We had a short back-and-forth, all of which I posted here with his permission. Then I tried to follow up on his failure to update the website with the new addresses for the Massachusetts and New York offices, and got no reply. I think he was annoyed that some investor found out that the home office was no longer in the original Mass address. He also made some very generic statements about his keen interest in this stock which didn't impress. I figured there's no point.
Not since the e-mails and replies that I posted here some time ago. Steve Aronstein made some promises in his replies that he didn't keep. So I don't see the point, I'm afraid. But anyone is free to e-mail him.
I've seen it happen with other gray market stocks. It is not impossible for SMAS to come back to life. Chances are low, of course.
So would we all! ;0)
I'm sure I'd cash out at some point, but not ASAP. I'd have to wait and see what was happening, I guess.
Lol! True, jahiles. ;0)
Somewhere a sell order must have matched a buy order. Thus is the gray market.
Must have been back in 2006.
