With Amarin one needs to take this data with a grain of salt, tomorrow could be a good day, else why the drastic trading in the past week? We haven't seen this Stock trade like this for a long time. On the reverse we've seen Amarin do a total flip side. The key take away is, Amarin has been driven down so much that nobody saw this week coming for sure. Something's up is my guess because why the drastic change in Volume? Drinks are on me after tomorrow's CC come hell or highwater.....

Hi Kiwi,
Not taking Vascepa too expensive can't afford it. Not on Omega Via. I was taking Carlson's EPA 1000, but after reading about the purity issues with most OTC stuff I've stopped taking any EPA. I don't eat fish (Salmon) too much work since I'm single and don't cook all that much. Fish is not my go to staple. T-Bones more likely.
Another "The Economy is in the best shape it's ever been story" Another Barack Obama welfare story..... Called the tire repair shop, and the sales clerk told me to put my trashed tire and bent wheel by the dumpster in back of their building. So, last night around 9:00 I put my damaged wheel and tire where the sales guy requested, this morning he goes and looks for it and it has vanished. Have we gotten to this point where anything and everything is open season? The tire was trashed, I'm guessing the dumpster diver wanted the wheel to sell for scrap. My bad I didn't take out the tire pressure sensor so, lesson learned for me. Don't trust anyone, any business dealings do it in person.
Kiwi....."Someone more than the average person"...... you mean like Carl (Billy Bob Thornton) from the movie Swing Blade...... yikes, did Billy Bob do a great acting job or what? Kiwi is well.... a New Zealander, they take nothing at face value and are always inquisitive folks.
Nahhh, haven't checked into it. Been too busy with my puppies, 35 chickens, 3 ducks, 4 dogs and a cat named Cloud who likes to bite me..... I stopped taking my Statin meds (Livalo) got to call Express Scripts to cancel my next order. Of course all of this is against my doctors orders. I could give a rip really..... I'll take my chances.
Good luck my friend, keep up the questioning attitude it keeps me wondering as well. Going up to Beautiful Colorado this weekend to pick Chokecherries. They say the juice is good for you, well maybe not in the fresh state, I was thinking more of the alcoholic form (wine) they say it makes great wine. I've got to check it out.
GLTY, Nuke
Caddie; I resemble that remark, been friends with Kiwi for a long time on this board. Heck, we share some of the same likes, we both like bagpipe music, homebrew, wine, heck, he's even the Godfather to my children.... well maybe not. I for one value his intellect. Absolutely nothing wrong with the opposite point of view, perhaps playing the devil's advocate is not to everyone's liking, but if Kiwi says things that are contrary then that is his God given right to do so and by God it's my duty to defend that right. At least Kiwi doesn't rant incessantly about things we have absolutely no control over, like Interim results, when are we stopping the study? Who's on first, what's on 2nd, I don't know is on 3rd......
Nuke the spook
Thanks Bill,
Article is still not educating people enough as it lumps Lovaza with Vascepa in the same Omega 3 FA box. If I were reading this article for the first time I would think that Vascepa also causes fish burps and my hemmorhoids to hurt...... get my drift? At least the article doesn't have "Fish oil" and Vascepa in the same context as older uninformed articles had.
Zum; what you say is true, however, the real key is getting Vascepa on these Mega Insurance company "Preventive" drug list. I currently have Express Scripts which has Vascepa on it's "Maintenance" drug list, which requires the patient to pay full price. In my case $640 for 360 capsules (90 days). By forcing these Insurance companies to put Vascepa on it's Preventive drug list the patient pays a substantially reduced co-pay, thus allowing more scripts and make it more affordable. I'd really like to know how some of you guys get a V script for $9 for 30 days, because I've tried without success. Albeit the doctors have to prescribe V, but they can do so much more than they're currently doing. If the doctor determines the patient requires this drug they (Dr. Clinicians) can justify why V is necessary for the patients well being. It's a game really. Some get it, some don't. I think they (Doctors) worry more about their tee times than they do their patients well fair.
FDA needs to be revamped....totally. Our citizenry not only requires it but demands it.... including Sarepta and Amarin. See how much notoriety Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy (Jerry Lewis) gets over the number #1 killer of Americans.... pathetic.

Your real name isn't Ernest P. Worrell is it? Just joking STS. I'm going to stay far away, I'll watch you work from a distance, like say 100 ft. I do have my own electricity stories, but using a drill with bare feet on a cold/wet floor, you may as well be standing on a Van de graaff generator. Seriously, I don't like to be shocked, I've been shocked too many times by my electric fence. 4000 Vac, .0001 amps thank god......
Ha ha Kiwi, I'll run on a "Homebrew for the Hungry" campaign. At least I'll get the Homeless vote. plus, keep the populace stoned all the time. Should get me a couple of Million $$ in campaign funds.
I made a great Porter and just bottled it this past week, the best beer I've ever made. I call it "Brew 72" melts in your mouth good......
Kiwi; What's your mailing address? email me @ pschwimm@yahoo.com
The President is pretty powerless anyway, they have the Congress, Supreme Court and of course our upstanding media to contend with.
regards,
Nuke
Volume 3,003,826, 2.12 x 2.13...... Glad I bought yesterday..... Happy day's to come.
To me owning Amarin is like owning a Shrimp boat named "Jenny." Same luck day after day until the "Big Storm" hits and Jenny's the only Shrimp boat left afloat.
What's your mailing address; I want to gift wrap and send you a bottle of my Stout.... :D). >70%?....for a gambling man those are pretty good odds....
Bought more this am, It's amazing the number of Diabetics have been diagnosed since 1980 - 2014 (22.0 M)... 4 fold and Amarin is right in the middle of it. Now when we get on the "Preventive Medications" list at the Pharmacies we are golden.
http://www.cdc.gov/diabetes/statistics/prev/national/figpersons.htm
Today's action is exactly why I never set STOPS...... bass turds took it down to 2.10 and took out those poor suckers stops,
CBB & BioBill,
I think you're both right in a way. $100 Billion potential drug....yes. Buyout? Not exactly, Partnership is more likely (IMHO). Like Medtronic is doing with Mazor (MZOR), buy a major stake in the company for chump change and let the company do most of the work. You need help with marketing? No problem, we'll co-market your product. You need a cash infusion once in a while.... no problem, as long as you're showing a profit we're good with that. GIA has been Amarin's Mantra all along, they won't be selling the company unless there's an offer beyond a reasonable point.... No, I won't guess on what that would be..... but I'm sure I'll be happy as a clam....
Zip and All..... a couple of things... JL's return made me open up one of my prized Stouts. Two, Amarin is still a screaming buy @ $2 anyway you look at it.....
Nuke
Hey... watch it fellas, those are close to my numbers for RRR!!! I'm still good with 45%, based upon my hyperbole' analysis of the right triangle sphincter anomaly. Just my date for the news was a little off..... :D)
Thanks HD for John Theros salary info, don't really know what to make of it, other than it's quite high for a small bio startup don't you think? Now, if we get to the price target we're all expecting, a six figure salary will be irrelevant.
Nuke
Thanks Kiwi, IMHO it was money well spent. Got to get the word out there. I wonder if Dr. Mosca is single????
The Nuke
Todays news is not news to us (longs), it does portray the plight of women with the same conditions as men. Although a small subgroup size of women = 36, it doesn't matter. The sentiment is there, women will help drive this market. Amarin is taking full advantage of their 1st Amendment rights by soliciting this truth.
Bully I say....... Theodore Roosevelt
Whatever..... and if it does are you going to go screaming to mommy and want a hug? If it does go below $1.50, I'll be loading up the truck. Selling my Grandkids, calling my cousin Vinny for a loan... etc. to buy more Amarin stock.
This action should bode well for the Vascepa Sales force going forward. And yes, I would even accept 5% per month sales growth.
Amarin is such a steal at these prices. Now if we can get a stop and get the Insurance Companes to approve Vascepa a "Preventive Drug" then its....; "To the Moon Alice"
Thanks Sam. I ditto BioChica..... can't wait for the monthly numbers. Things are looking good. Wouldn't it be nice to have 5% uptick in Scripts every week.....
Nuke
Kiwi, seems you're the boards "Poster Boy" these past couple of months. Reality can bite sometimes. Yes,if above $90M this is good.
Just made a batch of really good Stout, wish someday we can share a liter or two..... Good luck my friend.
Nuke
Oh Great Mogwai, no tell us, what really happened back when JZ ran things. Me thinks there's a Gopher among us.....
JT is doing a great job curbing cash burn. Me thinks he's doing a much better job than JZ could have never done. Hmmm, was that a Yogism..... :D)
Caddie; Forget about Amarin being "For Sale". JT knows what he has and I have every confidence he will do what's right for the shareholders.
JT: if you read this board do not sell Amarin, stay the course. You have a winning drug here, just get the Insurance companies to approve it as a "Preventive Medication." Are you listening Express Scripts?
Kiwi; if its any consolation, I would have to pay $610 for V for 90 day script.
High and tight,
Nuke
Sweet!!! Bill..... it'll be a Home brew for me, although Johnny Walker Black is good..... never really been one for the hard stuff. Give me a Good Porter or Stout and I'm in Heaven......
Tonight is a light brown Ale, 71 IBU's.... now if you know what that is welcome to the club.... :D)
jfmcrr Outstanding post, calm down people, "Relax have a Home Brew"
Nuke the knuckle head.....
Not that it means much but, don't docs use family history as an indicator for "what Ale's Ya?"
My mudder had dimentia before she passed, My Faddah didn't have it, he was still sharp but really mellowed out.....
Since I've stopped taking V I've felt like I've slipped a couple of notches myself (Mentally) and I'm not as sharp as when I was taking a full daily dosage of Vascepa. Frankly, I blame the Insurance Companies like Express Scripts. As a matter of fact they're in my Top 3 as far as most hated organizations.
It used to be the IRS, Banks and Insurance Companies in that order. I've since rethought my most hated list and have now replaced the Banks with the FDA. Heck they're all tyrannical and need to be shut down... just think.... the need for V for the American people would have benefited everyone had it not been for such an ignorant decision by our wonderful tax funded FDA.
Careful AH..... some of us do have a life you know. Love watching my chickens, playing with my dogs, grandkids. Anticipating the big day......
Darn Kiwi, you beat me to the punch. Does building chicken coops, duck ponds and growing Broccoli qualify me for an ignorant construction worker? Heck, I get a dozen eggs a day from my hens and sell them at the Farmers market. People just lov'em. No wait that would be an ignorant Farm worker. Where's Cesar Chavez when you need him? He's in heaven with all the other hardworking, back breaking, low wage laborers.
Zip; That means a buying oppty in my book..... Good luck.
Someone mentioned free donut holes? Pass some my way hey sts.....
Homer Simpson
Oops, former Counsel, sorry not the FDA. Would like to see something PR'd from Amarin.
Amarin on deck, FDA beat us to it. Counsel for FDA reinforces the Amarin/FDA settlement potential.

It was a little better in 1996 when I first visited Moscow. At least they had Kefir with your sliced ham, cheese, bread for breakfast.....
I even took my fiance' to McDonalds in Moscow, the napkins were heavily guarded..... :D)
Somehow I don't disagree with you on living beyond our capabilities. I surely don't want to end up in a Managed Care facility eating crappy food. Too big of a topic, don't even want to think about it.....
My ex-wife's never looked that good, she used Beets instead of carrots, and pickles and peas. It was okay, kind of bland. I'm sure it was good for you, but I missed my PorterHouse......
Thanks HD; When I visited Russia and the Ukraine, my then fiancee' took me to a Meat market. It was amazing..... their beef was not trimmed at all. It had all the fat, the lean meat was about 50% (half) of the piece of meat. As a matter of fact, the Russians and Ukrainians preferred it that way. The folks do this because they get more energy from the fat, which is what they want in the first place. Keeps them warmer. Oh how we're spoiled in the US.... but little do we know.....
Now for a cooking lesson: The people then boil the piece of meat, fat and all, then its removed after a broth is made. This forms their soup base for "Borscht" cabbage based soup. They dice up lean meat and make a Potato salad with peas....etc. Borscht is excellent and packed with energy and vitamins, heck I could work a 12 hour shift and still not be hungry after eating a bowl or two. The salad was pretty bland though, it wasn't loaded down with Mayonnaise like I'm used to eating.
Hopefully, Amarin recruited some Russians and Ukrainian men that also smoke and drink. Shouldn't have been a problem as most men do both. Some women do too...
