Yes, EDEX should reach the target within 3 days, but they would then need to evaluate the find. That would take a few more days. I'm still looking at Friday at the soonest. Even one day earlier is a bonus.
I didn't fill at .145 even though SP dropped to .14 ask. My order was only for 5K shares. Need to get off of pinks ASAP.
You guys are thinking too low. .68? If EDEX has oil spewing from a well this week, and word gets out, it will jump straight to $1 that very same trading cycle. I doubt it would even stop rising, except to take a breath, or as the SP passed through some low GTC sells. Suddenly, the float will be too small, and on real news, MMs will not dare to artificially inflate the float by filling orders selling short.
David T. (Tom) Laurance, Consultant
Although untitled as a corporate officer, and working as consultant without pay, Tom Laurance plays a key role in determining SFCI'S strategy and in executing it. He has diverse aptitudes, attended the University of Oregon, and is a member of Mensa (the high IQ society.) He has significant experience in operations management and new market development. In addition, he has managed seven public offerings, has a successful drilling record in the domestic oil business, and was Assistant to Jack Kent Cooke, the former owner of the Washington Redskins, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
This is the greatly shortened bio for Tom from when he worked with Surface Tech, Inc.
By the way he has a great sense of humor and does a weekly routine for "Standup Wednesdays" at The Body Shop. Of course, coming from OU, it's mostly cow-tipping jokes.
Might it be a quiet period before a major filing? The SP has been going sideways since the correction. Very little downward movement. This indicates some solid events coming to pass in the background. Counting back to the last PR, we would be near the end of a self-imposed quiet period. Not saying either way, because I don't know for sure. But, I've seen this a number of times before.
Sh$t happens...
...after lunch.
Might want to brace for a totally solid finish for the week. The line in the sand is .178.
When I finish for the day waiting here for the drilling to complete, I plan to go to the park. I heard that maintenance is painting park benches today, and I can watch one dry.
I don't think it's Parkin time, I think that it is Moscow time. You ever try to impress urgency on someone raised in an intensely bureaucratic environment?
CEO: Really. This is urgent. I need those documents right away. They are critical and are holding up completion of this phase.
Ivonovich: Urgency. Emergency. Always in rush. You are too... how you say... stress. Relax. Have some vodka.
Looks like the boys are walking it down again. Anyone else notice the double posting with lower transactions immediately following every initial transaction? I think we can all look forward to a buying oportunity tomorrow.
Last year I sold my SUV and bought a hybrid. Now, I make a pretty decent living in the low 6 figure range, but even at last year's prices, I felt the change in mileage deep into my pocket. I now fill every week for under $10 (I like to keep my tank topped off) and travel between 120 and 150 miles on that gas. If I drive around town and keep the average speed under 30 mph, I get even better mileage. So, I went from spending over $150 a month on gas for one car to less than $40.
At a cost of more than 2500 American lives and $100 billion annualy, Iraq does not produce cheap oil. We need to reduce our dependence on foriegn energy sources and seek the far less costly resources available domestically.
Turbine technology only extends increased dependence on fossil fuels and should not be taken seriously as a "polution solution." The goal must be to mix and blend technologies through innovative hybridizing that reduces the use of sequestered carbons while sustaining world growth and development. Now, if the patent applied turbine technology to a zero emission technology, then they would have something.
I'm glad he responded here because I couldn't post on his site after you deleted it. Whovever you are, thanks for responding to me.
I say we all go over there and drive the guy crazy.
Thanks for the spam. However, how does a turbine engine producing 300 to 1000 HP deal with reduction of carbon emissions? Hello. It's a turbine engine. Hello. It burns complex carbon chains and emits carbon gasses. Hello. It emits green house gasses. Hello, hello? Get a clue as to what the problem is. What a bunch of pumping idiots. It's a turbine engine.

You're not an investor? Well, then. Thanks for your input. We now understand why you chose not to invest here. You can move on now to your next big money maker.
I just looked at that chart, and EDEX has a beautiful chart. If it was a woman, I'd marry that chart. Another moderately green day tomorrow? That would be nice. Up .005 to .01 every day for the next week is just fine with me, maybe even a few more even days.
So, the guy is waiting for local and state permits and can't PR anything but real events, and that makes him an ass? Also, since you brought that word into the thread, how is this a scam? He has the plans for the plant as well as the location, the patents, the technology, but can't speed the local buraucracy? Where is the scam? A scam and an ass is when there are a string of PRs and they are all fluff or LOIs and MOIs. Seems more like CLME CEO is more of honest to a fault rather than anything you call him. He returned your call, didn't he? Sure I'd like to see some up-dates, but heck, I can wait. By the way, why would you invest in a Pinkie without confirming anything first? You do know how to research county permit filings, yes?
Yes, there would be an instant $1,000,000,000 worth of intrinsic value over and above the $500,000,000 worth of intrinsic value after a Texas strike.
Although the $1 billion in value is easy to see based on a minimum of 1 TCF of gas, the $500 mm is more difficult as it requires my top secret Intrinsic Value Algorthym (IVA) which converts undeveloped asset value to market value and automatically adjusts for increased speculative value based on successive strikes at pre-identified prospects.
Although a strike at the Texas prospect would have a lower asset value than the market value, the market value would be determined by the increased likelyhood of a second strike after a seccessful first strike. Following the second strike, unless it proved to be below the 1 TCF PIP estimate, market value would then increase beyond total asset value as speculation would then include the increased likelyhood of a strike at a 3rd prospect. This in theory would go on until there was finally a failure to strike, at which time the cap would in all probability stabilize and not receed, unless there were 2 successive PIP failures to deliver an increase in marketable reserves.
Three successive strikes might increase the cap to as much as $3 billion without regard to increases in positive money flow or the actual final confirmation of the size of the undeveloped asset.
But what do I know. I only have a BA in Economics.
I just wanted to get 4000. Did I?
According to Tom,
"If we are successful in TEXAS the first check could come in 3 to 4 months and in NM it might take several years for a pipeline to be built but Eldo would have big avenues of finance open up for us."
Texas already has infrastructure in place and it would be a simple matter of extending existing oil lines to the new wells.
Natural gas would require development of supporting infrastructure to take it from the site to market. Also, the collection of gas is far more complicated and therefore requires more time to develop and more money. However, if EDEX finds it, the money needed will find EDEX.
My crystal balls showed me 23 acres of island property. Still, a Corvette is a cute little car. Think I'll pick up one of those with the leftover spare-change.
Just think what it will be if EDEX hits the Bifecta on the first 2 sites, Wolfcamp and Mesa. That would make 2 down with 98 prospects to go.
Also keep in mind that the valuation for Wolfcamp was set at $60/bbl. We haven't seen that price in a couple of months and oil is currently marching toward $80.
Don't pay no 'tenshion to my fren Low over yonder, he jus' had two many Buds. He ment 2 say don't burn yo bergers on 'a girl. An' I say don' matter how ya cook 'em if ya got a'nuf "Salsa Americana" an' Buds ta wash 'em down. Happy Indepenense Day, y'all.
Going to see the 3rd largest fireworks display in North America. They are passing out special glasses so that it can be seen in 3D. 3D fireworks display, and we have a spot 100 meters from the launch point. This is going to be good!!
Hey, wait a minute. Aren't all fireworks displays 3D?
Drilling completion as per last PR: "The company has 5 percent working interest in the well and results from drilling should be known in 16-18 days."
Counting 16 days from June 29, puts the results a week from Friday at the earliest. The window is Friday July 14 through Sunday July 16, which makes Monday July 17 a most interesting date to look forward to.
And, champaign for the ladies!! As I said...
Quibbles over a few cents now will seem insignificant in 3 weeks. Yes, it's irritating when MMs hide bids and asks within the spread, and then double post either as sells when they want to hold the price down, or buys when they want thr price to rise. But, really, it is only irritating and MMs cannot buck the trend nor fundamentals without a lot of help from market forces.
This is the end of the quarter and by ending the Q under a $25 million cap, EDEX gets to fly under certain types of SEC radar for another 3 months. Although it can be questionable, and should raise a yellow flag of "Huh?" there are benefits to holding the cap down by management and for all investors. Clearly .15 is a solid support given that with the Friday selling pressure it did not breach that price. We may see some softness and consolidation next week, but we have a new base this week, and .20 will pass like so much methane in the wind.
Stale cake? As I always say Lowman, no matter how old and stale, given enough champaign, you can get anything to go down.
What?
Champaign? Friday before a holiday! Conductor, strike up the corks!!
OT: The numbers I posted for CYGX were as of today as per TA. So, if we take that poster's numbers to be correct then there has been an addition of almost 6 million shares. As I have noted bfore, I use the $25 million cap rule. If you have a microcap and want to know if management is messing with you, determine the current and past o/s and see if the decline in SP matches the increase in shares. In this case, I'd say there is a correlation. $25 million cap marks a line for bookkeeping, reporting and auditing requirements. A move across that threshold draws new SEC attention.
NNVC cut through the $25 million line like a hot knife through ice cream. Slowed down, but kept moving, and never looked back. CYGX stalled at that line and has declined with every increase in o/s. So, 2 yellow flags are that 1) it has stalled at that cap and 2) the TA won't report on the float. The last time I ran into float problem was SWKJ. Bounced between .03 and .08 after declining from a high of over 1.50. It was all dilution and shorting, and they are a reporting company. The TA would not give the float and insiders from Thailand (legally untouchable) were offshore shorting through Berlin on top of dumping.
Looks to me like they need targeting nanomicelles to deliver concentrations of ssDNA. In fact, the ligands of the nanomicelle can be modified to allow it to pass inside the target melanoma cells, like an artificial virus, to deliver the ssDNA more directly to the nucleus. I especially like the fact that two of NNVC's team are directly involved in the project.
Interesting share structure. But one thing that bothers me is that the TA, The Nevada Agency and Trust Company, does not give out or track the number of shares in the float. Did not even have a number for 144 restricted shares. The person I talked to, a manager, called that insider information. Hmmmm. Makes it difficult to invest in a company without that information, especially an NV registered corporation.
a/s: 150,000,000
o/s: 125,377,370
Float UNKNOWN
Hmmmmm.
Free shares? What a novel idea. Where can I get some?
I would play with free shares, in fact I had all free shares until last week, except that I am slowly shifting the bulk of my accounts to NNVC. I'm even thinking seriously about dropping MSFT (Still holding all of it since December '97) from my IRA, and putting a chunk into NNVC.
I resemble *hic* resent that remark.
I think I got a *hic* picher of the dril*hic* drilling platform. But... [burp] Look out for the stuffed hali... hali... hali... stuffed peppers. What was I talking 'bout? oh, yeah... But can't figure out how they drag *hic* dragged this thing across Texas.
I think they may be in a hot spot because all they did was set the rig down and look what happened. Just imagine after they finish drilling.
Momo players, Jag. They didn't get what they wanted yesterday, which was some startling revelation that would send the sp over .25. Instead they got a little clarification of already known information, and so must wait for ticks up and basing. Very frustrating for the momo crowd.
Love this action here. I'm looking for the usual EDEX EOD (End Of Day) buying. I think we finish up, at a healthy .185. Any painters in the house today?
I'd call 2.00 resistance, but I'd also have to call it psychological. There is actually a series of resistance lines from 1.80 to 2.25, but note that the real resistance is abot 2.25, which it bounced off twice during the slide form 2.20 to recent lows. I think once the breakoout occurs past the 50MA, it will cut through 2.00 like a hot knife through a block of ice cream (I don't eat butter).
Also, watch for a golden cross very soon.
I don't want to know what you get for $2.25 at the chicken ranch. Eeeew.
Looks like a breakout above 50MA takes us straight to next resistance at 2.25.
OK you guys. Who drank my lunch?
As I said yesterday on another board, all I want is a little grass shack on a beach...
...with an estate attached.
