It is no longer blue, it is red, because the asian market fire protection codes: quote: "red colour, it is mandatory that fire-protected wood in certain markets be colour-coded red. required it. Mandatory= codes requires it! Call the CEO.

Call the CEO of that company and ask him. As the article states:

ECOB wood is in HD because HD needs go compete with Lowes treated wood product. HD isn't going to use the same source as Lowe's, so they are using ECOs product. It is a company out of Canada and is the direct competition for ECO. Their wood used to be blue and they had to change it to red, because of fire codes. Check it out on the Lowes website under treated wood.
