good post...
i've been in the canadian mj sector since 2014-2015 early days...
as i think you also have been around the mj sector for a good spell also.
been very very good to me --- nice pile of jingle.
i'm not in cron at the moment, i might throw a small chunk back in - am very interested in the patents and their commercialization future.
it sure has been a fun ride, bumpy, muddy, exciting - put it in 4 wheel drive at times...
many will fail

unstoppable monster beast of planet earth
But... this will never happen.

Reality Check
apha = winner
acb = loser
No Deal.....
Big League here --- sub penny land wrong board
are you giving away all your product bob?... free shipping?
none of us shareholders have any idea what the deal would be.
but if this actually happens, i sure as hell hope that aphria has a top notch team of investigators to research every nook and cranny concerning the state and health of acb as a company. i would have spies working for the acb outfit in as many departments as possible.
acb has been a bag of extra large shit for several years now...
it looks like fools gold to me /// one inkling of stink and i hope aphria walks --- it MUST BE an incredible great deal for aphria to pull the trigger.
i would certainly like to see future solid pathways into the usa and israel markets for aphria $$$
cheers
i would like to see us get into israel ...
doing some serious business lately in the cannabis arena.
my gut "Screams" don't do it !!!
it would be "The Mega Cannabis Outfit on Earth".....
just real bad juju vibes.

again just my gut.
glta cheers
now that is great news....hooray !!!
so when cgc becomes part of the sp500....
you will buy a share?
Initiating Coverage of Aphria: Profitable Canadian Producer With Overweight International Exposure
2:34 PM ET 6/26/20 | MORNINGSTAR
We are initiating coverage of Aphria, a cannabis company with operations in Canada and internationally. Our fair value estimates are $11 per share and CAD 15 per share, based on a 10-year explicit forecast that assumes a nearly 27% revenue CAGR and a 2029 operating margin before plant fair value adjustments of 22%. At current prices, shares look undervalued as the stock is trading over 60% below our fair value estimate.
In line with the other cannabis companies under our coverage, we assign Aphria a no-moat rating and a stable moat trend, as the probability of material value destruction over the next 10 years remains high. We also assign a very high uncertainty rating, which includes impacts from the pace at which legalization is passed, distribution is expanded, and the prevalence of cannabis consumption.
Aphria offers attractive exposure to the international market, where we forecast roughly 21% average annual growth through 2030, excluding Canada and the United States. International distribution revenue composed 67% of Aphria's net revenue in 2019, far higher than any other cannabis producer we cover. The global market looks lucrative given higher realized prices, and exporters must pass strict regulations to enter markets, which protects early entrants like Aphria.
Aphria has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada, including Colombia, Argentina, and Jamaica. It acquired CC Pharma in 2019, a major importer and distributor of pharmaceuticals that has access to nearly 70% of Germany's pharmacies. It is also constructing a cultivation facility in Colombia, which will allow for lower production costs than in Canada for serving international medical cannabis demand.
hi happyglass, hope you have a super weekend.
yea, this one stings a bit. many of us sure thought this would be an outstanding pathway into the usa market for canopy... (and of course it still is a great possibility or not?)
i think both of us have been involved in this mj sector since the 2015 days... just about nothing has gone on a straight easy path for these outfits in the industry. whether it has been market/world circumstances, government red tape debacle circumstances, self inflicted circumstances, it has certainly been a bumpy, muddy, windy, up and down 4-wheel path for the mj sector.
by the time the trigger is pulled in usa,(longer play 2 years) might still be a good return for shareholders.... but like you, there are other goodies in the portfolio to have fun with.
cheers sister
so instead of getting .58 share of canopy per 1 share of acrgf...
we are only getting .30 share of canopy per 1 share of acrgf.
plus we get some kind of 1 time dividend of 30 cents per share of acrgf.
that is a BUMMER for us shareholders, no matter what spin they put on it.
woowee wowza fun in the stock market for the regular investor guy and gal.
well, it will probably be a couple years before "trigger" event, so ---
have to see what the numbers are then and when.
not as big a win as all of us hoped for. oh well
the band plays on
good medicine my brother john1311....
the twilight zone...... gibber - gibber
oil --- gold told you missed it ....
spike the disinfectant..........
acb going crazy after r/s....hahaha
will it be like tlry?.... shoot to 300. then down to 5.

for the win apha
i did not think they "let go" of NY hemp operation. i think they stopped cultivation of hemp this year in ny. i think it is because of the huge giant stockpile they have along with all other growers in usa, still unsold from 2019.
plus a side note in ny not passing legal rec this year with covid issues they have been dealing with.
though i think hemp is a separate issue due to over supply in usa.
i think they still are holding onto ny assets at the moment, just like i think they still own the jumbo licensed greenhouses they shut down in canada.
if or when they put those facilities back online ,i wonder if the licenses will still be valid? or if they will have to go thru all that bullshit of waiting again for new licensing ?
oh the twists and turns in the green industry.
puttin a little polish on my shiny dancin shoes......
the a p h a shuffle
bingo --- we got a winner here
cheers
hahahahaha.... have a great weekend --- oh that baby duck
hahaha friday flop oh well/it'll be alright....
entire sector ruby red today on real low volume.
one good sign, in my opinion... constellation exercised more warrants in cgc --- now owns 38.6%. that is a stud company that still believes strongly in the Global cannabis success story, which is still in its infancy.
we at apha are in a big way,one of only a couple of cannabis outfits with the stature and making of a Global Leader in the cannabis industry.
aphria gonna be conducting successful business for a long time - GLOBALLY.
cheers have a great weekend
1 share of acrgf will equal .58 share of cgc...
when usa fed gives green light on legalization (within 6 years)
one of theses weeks --- kaboom... hahaha
