Ok....
But this still doesnt say anywhere that a permit would have not been approved. Looks to me it was mainly a financial decision.
Funny that group thinks it was because of their 4000 voices that stopped the project. LMAO
It just says they withdrew!!!!!
Given the Company's newly refined focus, along with a current market environment that does not attribute the value to early-stage, high-cost exploration prospects necessary for their advancement, Timberline announced today that it has formally withdrawn its application to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for an exploration drilling program at Conglomerate Mesa and its lease agreement for the project has been terminated. While Timberline has developed excellent working relationships with permitting and governmental authorities in California, significant uncertainty regarding the project's viability remained. Despite the property's outstanding geologic potential, the aforementioned factors had severely impaired its market value to the Company. Timberline management strongly believes that its efforts to deliver value to shareholders are much better focused at Butte Highlands, which lies on patented ground and is suitable for near-term, low-cost development.
Im sorry, I still have to disagree with you, the BLM doesnt run a popularity contest. Timberline walked away because of the cost involved. Had nothing to do with those organizations.
There is no documented proof of this. i even talked with the BLM in Cali and was told that Timberline got a permit. He said there were objections, but a permit was issued regardless.
When asked about SUGO getting a permit, he said he couldnt comment.
Blah, Blah, Blah.......
This why they are probably searching for a ceo with mining experience.
Talk about mm games, my buy just knocked auto off the ask, but then boom here comes etmm. talk about holding it back.
wow a whole 5 mm's to 0018, man that is extremely thick, lol
Actually it proves nothing, the market as a whole is weak right now. Why are you still here?
Latest 10k shows 60000 cash on hand. Not crackerjack money for a pink, IMO. Apparently you dont do much DD.
If you dont like the company all you have to do is leave, that easy. See ya, you are going on ignore
IMO, you couldnt be more wrong, this company is in good shape. All you have to do is look at the latest fins.
A CEO with substantial mining experience would be nice. JV or buyout more likely IMO. Who knows? Heck, they might do nothing at all. Although i dont think this will be the case.
IMO the chart looks ok, We had a doji candle today, which could signify the bottom of a downtrend. The trix is starting to turn up, the macd is starting to turn up the cci is coming out of oversold range at -94, the rsi is turning back up. the slow stochastics is turning back up. 6 out of 8 indicators i use say downtrend may be over. The A/D line has stopped going down and started back up, I dont feel this is a strong indicator though.
You are right, but they can sell the rights to the claim, not saying it will happen though. IMO they will at first try to get a partner to help develop and explore the property. At least thats what I would do.
I totally agree with you on the short statement. MMs are smart and would not short a stock at this price. And yes if they were shorting, means they expect it to drop. IMO you dont want to see shorting.
My question is, why is this stock still trading at these levels? IMO, after reading the balance sheets it should at least be in the sub penny to penny range. Someone doesnt want this stock to go up for a reason. How many trip stocks do you know of that has over 60000 cash on hand? I dont know of one, oh yes i do, TYTN.
I agree, you dont see many trip stocks with over 60000 in cash on hand. They are definitely playing games with it right now.
This is a step in the right direction, shows commitment to actually bring the company to life. IMO, it will also increase investor confidence.
Just making sure information posted is as correct as it can be. You are right, I could find no info on the others still being involved. But BHP and Newmont are large corps with plenty of cash on hand. Could they be looking to acquire SUGO. Who knows, only time will tell.
If they were, it would be good for all involved.
JMO
Thats not entirely true, From What I read on BHP's site sounds like they are still in the game somewhat:
BHP Billiton is one of the world's top producers of copper, silver, lead and uranium, and a leading producer of zinc. We provide base metal concentrates to custom smelters and copper cathodes to rod and brass mills and casting plants and uranium oxide to power utilities. We aim to become the pre-eminent supplier in base metals through capacity expansions, reliable supply and innovative solutions.
We have an excellent portfolio of large, low-cost mining operations with substantial growth opportunities. We have a number of expansion opportunities — both greenfield (new sites) and brownfield (developments on existing sites) — which are sufficient to allow us to expand copper production significantly through various projects.
Beyond conventional mine development, we are also rigorously pursuing advanced bioleaching technology, which has the potential to achieve significant reductions in the cost of producing base metals.
I couldn't agree with you more. Moore even goes as far in his report to say "properties of this quality are hard to find."
IMO the risk is well worth the possible reward.
How did people find google when it first came about? The same applies here. Word of mouth, advertising, etc.The same goes with any business I believe.
Even if it were to drop a little more, it will not stay there long, IMO. The CEO seems to have his head on straight and leading the company in a favorable direction. IMO we should at least retest the .004's soon. Maybe not this week, but soon
Uhhh.... type in www.thedirectory.com into your address bar, hit go, and what do you know, up pops a website that allows you to search for local businesses. geeez.
Like i said right now it is mostly businesses in the tampa area ( where eysm is located), but if it catches on it will grow
I have been searching the site www.thedirectory.com. They do have businesses listing on their site. Sure their customer base is small right now, but over time it will grow. When searching google sometimes you have to sift through results to find what you are looking for. This site gives you a direct listing to what is in your area. Like I said, customer base is small right now (mainly businesses in the tampa area) but if it catches on it will grow.

Holes have been drilled and will be drilled again.
Believe what you want. The report speaks for itself. Throughout the entire report, Moore suggests the property holds generous amounts of gold and other minerals. He also states "properties of this quality are difficult to find". With such an obtuse way of thinking no wonder you cant interpret the report properly.
Interesting:
From the report:
The results confirm the presence of gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc mineralization and in the
relative value ranges that have been reported by the historical documents.
10.4 Results and Interpretation
The drilling programs were successful in verifying the presence of ore grade gold mineralization
on the Conglomerate Mesa project in numerous areas over a very large area.
And many other quotes throughout the report confirming gold exists.
I guess you are hoping others are not reading the report.
If folks read the report they will see your posts about no gold are untrue.
Which is the reason they are searching for a partner or financing to continue. Nobody knows for sure how difficult the permitting process will be. There may be obstacles, as there are with any business of this nature, but they will not prove insurmountable. Time will tell, I'm sure.
The potential of gold and other minerals is all they need. Which is the exact purpose of the 87 page report, to show potential. Every mining property in the world begins with this stage. POTENTIAL. Stop being obtuse.
Read the previous 10-k report. It shows that it took the company 2.6 million shares to acquire the claim. And these are restricted. Only so many can be released every year, probably to avoid dilution. Its all stated for you, in lehmans terms, in the previous 10-K.
This part sums it up for me:
Conglomerate Mesa is a quality prospect that should be drilled on a grid system and several
+2000 foot drill holes should be placed in strategic locations based on geology, geochemistry
and geophysics. If this prospect was in Nevada, it would have hundreds of drill holes, as
properties of this quality are difficult to find.
Im sure his resignation wasnt voluntary.
Sungro Minerals, Inc. (OTCBB: SUGO) today announced the resignation of its CEO.
Effective December 15, 2009, Mr. Malkeet Bains tendered his resignation as President, CEO, and a Director of the Company with immediate effect. Simultaneous with his resignation, Mr. Bains returned to the Company the shares he had been issued at its founding in August 2007 without consideration. The Company owes Mr. Bains approximately $24,000 for payments made by him on behalf of the Company, and will reimburse him in the ordinary course of business.
The Company expresses its thanks to Mr. Bains for his efforts since its inception on behalf of the Company, and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
Which was orchestrated by the CEO who was promptly fired after this occurred. Steps were taken to fix this action. Read the prior PRS.
You are right, times have changed. With increasing deficits, it would be stupid for government entities to stand in the way of retrieving the gold, silver, etc that lies within this property and many others. I have attempted to contact the BLM office in California, but have not received a response. At least we do agree on something though, times have surely changed.
Rbtree...
Believe what you want, I cant find any documented proof of a public outcry. How did the holes get drilled to compile the report. hmmm someone had to get a permit to drill...............At least when I post I provide documented proof not just hot air.
If this property was a major wildlife habitat I could see permitting being an issue, but the government has declared it a non wildlife area. Here is a link to the government study releasing the land from WSA status. You will find cerro gordo in the first list.
http://www.blm.gov/ca/pa/wilderness/wilderness_pdfs/wsa/Volume-1/Vol-1-TOC.pdf
Permitting is not going to be as big a problem as you are making it. The entire country is in debt and California leads all states in deficits. And permits HAVE BEEN ISSUED IN THE PAST. PERMITS HAVE BEEN ISSUED IN THE PAST.
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho, Jan. 31, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Timberline Resources Corporation (OTCBB:TBLC) today announced the receipt of necessary permits to proceed with exploration and drilling at its Conglomerate Mesa Project in Inyo County, California. The project hosts structurally and stratigraphically controlled, sediment-hosted gold mineralization similar to the "Carlin-type" deposits of north-central Nevada. Timberline management believes that Conglomerate Mesa represents one of the premier gold exploration projects remaining within the Great Basin province of the western United States.
So your continued posts about permitting are pretty much useless.
no its not $1 a pound, its $1.1099 per pound
u probably didnt refresh your l2 quotes , when the 11 went through on my l2 it was 11/12
