Nice Bio!!! Coming up for air in between patients to see we are having quite a nice run over the past couple of days. Keep up the good work on LTT, he will need it
LTT, not desperate at all on your end?? Keep working double overtime to get your message out to your captive audience. I'm sure these "weak, marginal, subpar" results are what prompted the HE by the PEI, that's just how they roll in Germany, right?? Really weak results on Direct as well huh? Maybe you should just call LP and let her know to throw in the towel now based on your assessment given your level of expertise. I have LG cell phone # if that would make it easier for you. I really think you need to let them know your position on this before they move forward with anymore resources and of course wasting the time of us clueless investors. TIA for being so concerned for everyone's well being!
From what this non-statistician can guage, we is but the is may be a little further out on the horizon!
Flipper, nothing yet but I did email him the questions again today. I have his cell phone and plan on calling him on Monday if I haven't had any response. Trying on my end
Afford, yes I am still hoping to get a response from him. They were at the Jefferies yesterday so I am not pushing the issue yet but I did email the questions to him again today. If I have not heard back from him by Monday then I will call his cell phone.
rabbit, did you get any of my posts on adrenal related issues or mercury toxicity related to your autoimmune issue?
So, is this you in 1st gear
Here is my email to Les. I decided to email him knowing how busy he will be tomorrow at the conference. Thanks for all the input of questions to ask!
Les~
Thanks for taking my call today in between your flights. Hope you made it to NY ok? I had some more questions and I certainly don't want to take liberties but would appreciate any answers you can provide or are allowed to.
1. Are you going to stick with a final enrollment size of 240 for the main body of the trial and 72 for the pseudo-progression group, or are you going to enlarge the trial? If you are enlarging, which groups will you enlarge? (If you are still considering it, what is taking so long -- is "considering it" also being used to control timing? I know this is a cynical question, and financing is part and parcel of investment, but you've got some long-term investors….)
2. How many patients are currently enrolled in the L trial?
3. Did the German (PEI) have clinical trial data that included the 66 events from NWBO's phase III trial when they made their decision to allow Hospital Exemption and Reimbursement? NWBO's PR back then stated they had all clinical trial data to date.
4. The effect of Germany HE on the trial in Germany? Are the opening of new Centers of Excellence on hold or are they still on track? If possible, how many patients have been treated under Germany HE? What has the level of interest been for being treated under the HE? This might be a good PR to put out if you are able.
5. When do you expect to have German reimbursement settled and when can we anticipate to see some hard #'s? Will the yet-to-be-announced German price point amount for DCVAX-L reimbursement be used by other countries to assist them in establishing their price points?
6. While we know Progression free survival and Overall survival are being used as the primary and secondary endpoints (and TTP), on the Accelerated approval side of things, is progression free survival being used as the surrogate endpoint, and pfs + time(aka: additional events) being used as the clinical endpoint? If not, what is being used as the clinical endpoint for Accelerated Approval?
7. Did you receive breakthrough status on DCVAX-L? If not, did you apply for it? If not, why?
8. Do you anticipate formally adding the two phase 2 trial products from UCLA, that NWBO currently cosponsors, into the NWBO pipeline? The expected primary completion date for those 2 products in phase 2 is September 2014. What can you tell us regarding their status?
9. Are you considering slightly expanding your management crew? (I am not looking for work:) Linda has been burning the candle at both ends as I am sure you all have been.
10. Please tell us whatever you are allowed to tell us regarding DCVAX-L trial status? Also, possible reason for delay from DMC? When does NWBO anticipate 88 events (2nd interim) to occur?
11. Japan already has the most advanced legislation on the planet considering cell therapy access. How far along is NWBO in countries outside of Europe and Israel -- like Japan for instance?
12. We are currently at 100 million outstanding shares fully diluted….correct?
I know that was alot and am very appreciative of your time and willingness to answer my questions. I also would like to THANK YOU as well as Linda and the rest of the team for your tireless efforts to make a difference in the lives of patients who truly need answers and hope! FYI, you still have a strong support level of "long" investors who truly believe in the Company and the Science!
Regards,
Scott
Thnx Evaluate! I will keep you all posted on what I find out and make sure it meets the "appropriate criteria and response" for all on this board some of whom don't find anything of use or positive
Afford, I am a business owner, in fact I own more than one so I do understand what you are saying! My conversation with Les was brief so I was not able to get to more of the substantial questions. My first question out of the shoot directly related to a PR coming out of ASCO. That's as far as I got b/c he went into detail on how well it actually went. I don't think this is sunshine being blown up my rear, I think and he stated, "investors just haven't seen the positive affect on the pps yet." Instead of seeing everything a negative maybe you can look at this for what it is, they felt they had a great showing and got ALOT of attention which will serve them well in the long run! If you have specific questions you would like me to ask Les I am more than happy as I am compiling of list of questions others have sent. My advise is that if you have to pull some money out then do it on the next bump b/c it may be a while before we see this going North with any significance. I am not a HFT or one who shorts stocks and although I am in this a little deeper than anticipated I still see the grass being quite "green" ahead of me
Theel, one thing I forgot to also mention is that Les stated he had a bit of time during ASCO to directly speak with Dr. Subbiah about the results they are seeing so far with Direct and that Subbiah was "very excited" by the early results they are seeing for patients that are essentially on deaths bed!
Sentiment, Adam is a pimple on our collective butt. He will go away when he is short-squeezed. (that's gross - sorry). That is the best thing I have heard all day!! Still laughing at that one...he is such an arsehole
Certainly will!! I was going in that direction but we only talked for about 5 min before he had to hop off. If I don't hear from him tomorrow I will call him on Thurs. given Jefferies is tomorrow. Any other questions you may have or want info on just let me know. Regards
I can vouch that he was at the airport b/c I could hear the announcements going off in the background. He responded to my email today that I sent out yesterday and included his cell phone # to call which I did. I trust he will call me back given our conversation was cut off due to having to board the plane (this is not some sort of conspiracy). If you or anyone else on the board would like me to go thru some bullet point questions with him, I am more than happy to. I spoke to him thru the eyes of an investor in NWBO and as I stated, he was certainly upbeat about where the Co is at in the trials and what transpired at ASCO.
Just talked with LG at NWBO. Fairly brief conversation given he was hoping on a plane from Chicago to NY for Jefferies Conference. To sum up what he said: " We were very happy with how ASCO turned out even though it is not reflected YET in the stock pps." He said that this was in essence, "our coming out party and that our both was busier than we would have hoped for." He went on to say that they got alot of attention from Big Pharma who quite frankly had no idea of what they had been doing with L and Direct nor where they aware of their results. I found this a little hard to believe but this is what he said. He said they was "ALOT" of interest especially in Direct and the results that they were already seeing in the various categories of terminal cancer patients. He was adamant about from their perspective the success at ASCO and simply stated that the fruits of this have not been seen yet. He talked about AF is some detail and was candid that what AF does is illegal and that he represents many "shorts" and that is his only motive for hammering out his garbage. This is not news to any of us. He said that to go after AF legally would be a waste of resources and that they are only focused on continuing to progress with what they are seeing in L and Direct. I started to get into asking about the delay from DMC on L and he had to hop off and board the plane but said he would call me back. He was very forthcoming with info and I can only reiterate that he said that they drew alot of attention at ASCO and are very happy with the results they are seeing in L and Direct. Not sure if this helps out but thought I would let you all know. He said there was a great piece put out today by Summer Street specifically on NWBO and ASCO but I have not been able to find it yet. He said he would email it to me later. GLTA
Great video link Long, thanks!
I'm hoping he starts tomorrow
Great article! That along with the 2 hour trail run I just did got me out of the morning funk Thanks for your continued hard work Pyr!
Pyr is just trying to add a little humor to the moment as well as LTT constant drivel!
I am at a loss here! Will let this play out some more but this is absolutely crazy! Notta as far as a PR from the weekend??
Great Forbes article this am highlighting ASCO and Immunotherapy but no mention of NWBO? I don't understand why this Co. is so off the radar from analysts or any significant attention?
Diamondjim, thanks for putting the pic up!! They definitely did it right! Let's hope we all see this spike up next week.
staccani, you put together a nice one there! You should send this directly to LG or LP and see if you get a response. I am of the mindset we still have more good news coming very soon but the constant attacks from AF every time NW has a PR especially to the malicious extent of the attacks does need to be addressed!
Afford...really, it just feels empty out there and silent and cold.C'mon, your suppose to be this tough shrewd business guy. You gotta let some of your emotion go here and think a little more logically. OK enough, last night in Paris and don't want to babysit. Like I said earlier though, if it too cold, lonely and unbearable then just sell but the soap opera needs to come to an end my friend!
iclight, EXACTLY GLTU
Afford, you said So now another wasted PR because it appears no one is looking ahead to see how the Gutter boys will be attacking the newsNot sure this is so accurate. What was it..maybe a week ago we were all guessing at the # of PR's NW would come out with..2 so far seems pretty good to me and its only Wed. Not sure what you expect this incredibly small Co. with limited resources that rightfully so are focused more on their product should be doing? AF attacks most all small cap biotechs, that is how he makes a living. No matter how pretty or powerful we package our PR's or as you state..blow them away with strategic force such as a military strike, it honestly would make no difference. Let the Co. that you invested in b/c of their science prove themselves to the market and the FDA as they have already done in Germany! Sounds like you are already up in this stock to date so if it is so gut wrenching then sell your position and buy something safer. Just not sure why lately you are all over the board on your stance. I don't think any of us need convincing that you much more than just a cheerleader! GLTU

Back from Nice to Paris today and checked the "big board"..what an expected pleasant surprise. Get PR today and nice to see the market react somewhat appropriately. More PR's to come and who knows, we might see the likes of 10 or 20 sometime soon. GLTA and profite de la vie (carpe diem in French I think)
I'm especially reminded of the importance of "quality" food being in France. The food here is so different, cleaner, healthier than it is in the states. We are in Cannes now, had an amazing dinner again last night and I told my wife, I don't feel heavy or inflamed after meals here in France. Proper gut function is the KEY to overall health! What we ingest, how our body processes and assimilates and then delivers the nutrients is what dictates our health. Leaky Gut Syndrome is so prevalent in the states it's scary. Anyway, needless to say, not only have we thoroughly been enjoying the food here but the wine is pretty damn good too U need those antioxidants right?
BB, always something to chase bigger and better that doesn't always live up to your hype huh?
Thanks Long!! Yah, I'm a bit of a car freak we plan on going down there Sunday given we are in Nice Sat-Tues
Rabbit, check this site out. Chronic Mercury Poisoning Symptoms & Diseases from Amalgam ...
www.mercuryfreenow.com/layperson/symptoms.html En cache
Symptoms & Diseases ... The amalgam filling particles that are removed ... This table lists some of the common symptoms directly related to chronic mercury toxicity.
Rabbit, last post for the day from me. Pls also look at symptoms related to mercury toxicity if u have amalgam fillings. Not sure if u do but I have had many patients over the yrs with a myriad of conflicting symptoms that ended up being due to long term mercury toxicity.
Rabbit, I know once you get into the "auto immune" world there can be many crossover ddx symptomotolgy. Do me a favor and look up central nervous system hypersensitivity disorder as well as severe adrenal fatigue. I will share my private email with u if u would like to discuss more. Regards
That sounds quite nice indeed! My wife's luggage made it but looks like I'll be shopping today, somehow mine got lost. Oh we'll, I needed a style update anyway have a great trip!
Afford, pls wait til the beginning of June before u jump ship! Take emotion out of this and just look at the facts...and there are some really good ones go make yourself a manhattan a call it a day.
Dang Fox, go easy big guy!! Pretty sure everyone on this board is feeling the squeeze. No need to kick a guy when he's down
Perfect way to end my long travel day!!!
Hello from Paris! Can't be checking the computer too much, my wife and I are celebrating 11yrs with 5 night in Paris and 3 nights in Nice. I guess this is as good excuse as any not to be anally checking this every hour I hope next week is huge for all of us and like Laser said, don't get caught up in the current day to day pps, remember what NWBO has already achieved! GLTA
Fox, might want to take a look at "Lower Cross Syndrome" for some tips on your back pain. If you need any further tips/info. please feel free to pick my brain.
