fastlane may have jinxed the rally with that parabolic sar chart
just kidding, I'm not in the least superstitious, I do however believe that without news of substance, the mm's can push the pps around like a little ragdoll, lol, let's hope we rally back
good for you Buz, I grabbed a few at 74 myself, now if these guys can just get this party started, we are all very tired of waiting for x's garage door to open, phil's rocket to launch, etc etc
lol
buz, hope you bought 70 cents when I called it, and sorry bud, but respectfully neither you nor any other debbie downers here will bridle my boundless enthusiasm for this true next gen tech
enough may have been enough for real
It felt good today, hope my call for a bottom back on 8/14 holds up (check the re: post #6931 if you missed it)
Now, what we all really want is a NEW HIGH, let's get a run to break through the somewhat recent high of 3.33 and even through the all time high in the 5's!
reds, I was just replying to Rickface on the subject he introduced with an article just out today
Intel's upcoming MXC optical interconnect
Intel teases 1.6Tb/s optical interconnect tech
Published on 15th August 2013 by Gareth Halfacree
Intel has announced plans to unveil a new optical interconnect for servers at the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco next month, boasting a peak transfer rate of 1.6Tb/s.
Designed to replace existing inter-server optical interconnects, the new standard is dubbed MXC with Intel boasting of numerous improvements including smaller connectors and, crucially, significantly improved data throughput. While MXC development began two years ago, Intel is only now making it fully public with a planned presentation at the IDF in September.

oddone, so I guess that is dilutive elimitutive, a real bonus for us shareholders since the pps is so low, lol
enough is enough
I'm calling the bottom here at 70 cents, crazy to think this was valued much higher for the many years while long term investors here sat on our hands for years at a time, first to get the spacer development news and then again to get the key patents issued, geeesh, now we have the science pretty well sewed up, the materials repeat-ability process pretty well perfected and we are developing the devices on multiple fronts, we have a dream team of players on board, we have gotten the needed financing to take us off of the shoestring budget that handicapped us for so many years, we have the real labs with the real staff, and we are trading at an all time low, wtf?
yup, and hoping we get some definitive progress notes that are worthy of increased positive speculation here, particularly in relation to the time line, we'll see
99.9% sure we get a pr this week
10Q due out right?
kind of ironic that after 1st airing of the radio spot, the volume all but disappears here, thought it was suppose to increase interest/volume lol, guess we need a prototype, who'd of thunk it, c'mon guys.. push push I know you can squeeze one out for us investors soon
thanks x, too bad the 1st radio spot filled up all the investors who listened caches with this issue too, oh well, on the bright side, seeing the old website on their first visit and then upon a re-visit seeing a new visit can make it look like things are really happening at light speed around here, lol
new website seems to have a bug, the old website home page is still active, and then any selection causes an error, but then you are jumped to the new website format and its choice become activated
needs some work
also, would be nice to re-include some of the more technical charts, and if they are too dated, then perhaps re-do them
"in some cases" -> operate in ambient conditions without the need for additional, expensive packaging.

Wow based on the drawing on the web site, it just clicked of just how many possible molecule combinations are available. The other co has one that I know of.

x, where do you think we stand today in relation to info from this post?
snez, are you in NY or LA or one of the markets of Lightwave's campaign?
check out this polymer application
oops, forgot to put the question with this,
Lou has 8 patents with Lumera, Lou and Alan were ground floor in the device development of Lumera, Lou says that Lumera tech was designed for a specific market that is not necessarily a core market that Lightwave is targeting
question being did you (or anyone) sidebar further with Lou/Alan to understand what specific market (and size thereof) versus ours?
x, from the q&a on Lumera
Lou has 8 patents with Lumera, Lou and Alan were ground floor in the device development of Lumera, Lou says that Lumera tech was designed for a specific market that is not necessarily a core market that Lightwave is targeting
Tom on LPC "cause we needed a lab, we needed full time people, we needed to get things turned around"
yup, what do ya know, operating now on something more than a shoestring is going to make a significant difference in our pace of progress, like I said I am more confident now than ever!
glad to see the doubting thomas's here are giving it a rest, at least for now, lol
interesting commentary on gig tech in the ASM audio, anybody have any thoughts on what was said?
buz, nice, I like that chart on pps effect
fwiw, Lou sang Jim praises in the ASM audio
just finished listening to the ASM along with the slides, it sure looks like my thinking on these guys making progress at an accelerated rate with hurdles of lessening size going forward holds water fairly well
if I had to characterize my 8 years of patiently waiting here in terms of progress notes somehow, and do it succinctly, I would do it using the Fibonacci numbers as my correlation, so
yr 1 = 1
yr 2 = 1
yr 3 = 2
yr 4 = 3
yr 5 = 5
yr 6 = 8
yr 7 = 13
yr 8 = 21 (2013)
if this pattern of progress continues I would be thrilled as the acceleration curve grows rapidly from here
yr 9 = 34 (2014)
yr 10 = 55 (2015)
rapidly approaching Phi, 1.618, the Golden Ratio
http://www.goldennumber.net/
jmho as usual
agree with your thinking odd, has anyone heard the radio ad yet? was it previewed at the ASM?
Gig they said is not issue, that patent thing, they just looked at the ceiling and rolled their eyes, something like “Oh Please X, that is not an issue, our material is completely different”
yeah man, that is what I said too, gig patent may cover any other e/o mod producers who cannot stand up to CMOS, but certainly not one that CAN
new website next week, what? have I been caught in a time warp?
personally I think the website is fine, just add to it, I mean really, have we not bigger fish to fry here at this point?
will do, I am hoping this to be our final trip to the patch, lol, again
so the ASM lasted several hours and then ended with a bus trip to a lab tour, and most in attendance posting here seem to have renewed confidence, and it's a "when" not an "if" etc
ok, but with all that time spent, were there not any specific progress notes given with respect to the LSS or UCB?
was there any indication for a revised timeline, one that incorporates all of the various projects in motion including the SLM, etc?
perhaps it is time for an open letter to shareholders that address these things, this would be in keeping with Tom's promise to increase the level of communication with investors
and where the heck is x, will he ever weigh in on the ASM event?
and finally, please please please get the ASM on the website ASAP!
snez, thanks, can you or others share more on the EMP situation with us who were not able to be there, tia
did x get left behind and locked in at the lab?
was there any discussion as to why the EMP efforts were consolidated into the UCB efforts?
Buz, welcome back to the fold, from what I've been reading it resonates everything that I have been preaching to growing list of dissenters here, boy I wish there were no hurdles left, but I am glad to hear that the hurdles are lesser, and that it is deemed a matter of "when" now, and not a matter of "if"
a great big thanks to all those who attended and posted here afterwards!
see ya all in the patch, one more time!
maybe prop, else lemme guess "we now expect to have a proto by end of 3rd quarter or start of 4th quarter"
arrrggghhh, back to waiting for the GP?
where's the proto?
proto proto proto!
did they make you guys sign nda's
what up dogs?
maybe kickoff with a list of rockstars present
no pr yet is disappointing to me, please give us here on the outside any updates from your smart phones that you can, gltai
oddone, makes sense for pr friday afternoon versus say today, don't want to steal the thunder of the ASM presentation
I disagree however with your thinking there will not be any news of substance at the ASM, personally I think the time is ripe for some substance here, and as such I am fully expecting delivery at the ASM
we'll see
