my board post apathy index is starting to signal an alert, this could mean a pr is coming soon, if the level of apathy continues a few more days, I am fairly certain the index will run off the charts, stay tuned people, lol
Rickface, booyah, we are on the same page!
and for the same reasons,
it's all about the fact that they are now developing
devices devices devices
and on multiple fronts
obviously you are not a chess player
so someone here pays six 40% above market for his shares today, and tomorrow he buys them back on the open market and creates a new alias to post under here, lol
duh ok
six, if you are serious about selling and are willing to put those 70k shares up at the market now of 85 cents, I bet we can get enough support from folks on the board here to digest those shares for you, I just picked up another couple thousand shares at 85 cents myself a few minutes ago, and could probably even help out others here grabbing up your 70k shares, let us know
we are one team!
six, you are asking a 33.33% premium to the current market price, I would bet that barring a long awaited pr of substance, anyone could grab up 5k to 10k shares daily over the next week or two and walk away with a much lower average basis than you are currently offering
duh ok, that sounds good to me, I can get shares from you at 1.20 when I'd have to pay 90 cents in the open market
ps - you recognized yourself as one of the whiners, and that is the first step of the nine step program I hear, lol
pss- personally still more confident by far than ever before and patiently waiting, a lost art
I'll give ya that, however, none of us here know what is happening day by day, and Tom has told us point blank that the number one priority has been satisfying needs of the LSS, so it is possible that delays in the expected timetable of internal developments were delayed by unexpected requests of the LSS, and it is impossible for us to know too what extent those delays might have been or are currently
not everybody is born to be a public speaker, and there are more ways to add value than to be a great public speaker, and a great public speaker does not always add great value, food for thought for whiny ones, bet they are all great armchair quarterbacks too
WoW, the mayhem on the msg board indicator rocks the house!
booyah!
reds, I think you are right, doesn't LPC only have to buy when the pps is above $1.00?
also of note, a $10 million or more raise is astronomical amount of new funding compared to our past, I think you have to believe we are making strides now, and big things will be happening in 2014
thoughts?
booyah, my mayhem on the board index has gone off the charts this week, the lights are all flashing wildly, and it looks like a pr may be in the works for next week, if it happens, I hope it's a doosey!
keep the faith!
Rickface, are there any specific juicy bits from the pay per view version that made you a believer in them being a true competitor of lightwave that you could share with us all here? tia
I'm not doing the research for you
correct me if I am wrong but you seemed to inform us all here that you HAVE DONE this research work already, all anyone has asked you to do is link them to your findings, else your credibility is questionable I'd venture to say
bsmith here is a link to an early paper with this data
http://third-order.com/print/third-order_tech3.pdf
please let us know your thoughts
snez, I did not mean anything bad on greenlee, just because he did not fit here does not mean he will not be of great value where he goes next, he has my best wishes for success!
I knew it!
the whiners have been drudging on and on about how greenlee's departure was a statement of problems he found with the materials, never once did they consider what I really thought, which was most likely that greenlee turned out to be the perverbial square peg in a round hole!
BOOYAH!
bsmith says --> I come from an engineering/physics background (see reply post)
early bsmith post from july 13 would indicate he is not greenlee unless referring to himself in the 3rd person
gates, why do you suddenly think we are getting very close, I don't recall you being of that mindset so much recently?
(but I am glad to hear it )
also interesting to watch the fireworks on the board of late!
the firestorm of posts of relevancy has begun to trigger my patented post relevancy index, more on that later
great buckyballs x, I was thinking the same thing, bsmith sounds like the reincarnation of optiprof to me too, is it true bsmith? cmon, fess up?
spooks, here is the Intel reference -->
Member Company Benefits and Technology Transfer
We continue to work closely with several companies on this project. Our primary industrial collaborator is new CIAN IAB member Intel, with whom we are exploring the development of new sol-gel cladding materials for silicon photonics. Intel has strong interest in sol-gel technology for both photonics and electronics applications, as well as applications of the multiphoton imaging technique. We have also worked closely with GigOptix, an IAB member company, and we collaborated to submit a proposal to the NSF SECO program for the transfer of first generation UA sol-gel technology to GigOptix. Adam Jones continues to intern at Sandia National Laboratories, a role that is becoming increasingly important given CIAN’s engagement with Sandia on CMOS-based integrated photonic circuit fabrication.

Wow EYE OPENER on GIG from EMPLOYEES

Alex Jen and U of Washington so it is quite possibly an offshoot of the CLD family of chromophores, interesting that the LLC was founded in 2010 and is just surfacing to view now
They are CMOS process compatible and adaptable for large-scale photonic integration.

x, buz, prop, riddle me this, would you expect a pr to be issued in the next week? month? regarding whatever it was you saw
so are you a believer now prop?
I wish someone here would let us all in on this mysterious siting, apparently it was pretty good news
buz, x, give us some sort of clue as to what the heck you found, I have tried but no luck so far & now buz says it is gone, lol, so I guess I can quit trying
development stage company that produces prototype electro-optic demonstration devices
sounds like there must be some devices to me x
if you want to be at the mercy of the lss than ok, why tell the world what's going on here, but correct me if I am off base, we are busy on at least 4 fronts in the device building stage, and we need investment dollars to bring home the devices being designed in-house and out, so why not work to get the investment world on board and "get er done" from within which will result in greater value for the shareholder both near and long term, just look at how much was spent on lumera eo and they still have not sold any of the devices in mass, we can and will, just a matter of time and money now imo
so please whiners, SELL NOW & GO AWAY
Stonegate Securities link
http://www.stonegateinc.com/
uncanny, the whiner index rules!
x, can you give us any clues to start our excavations, lol
Booyah! PR must be imminent!
whining index is off the charts!!
ps- I heard everything is done and working, but they are holding back the great news until all the whiners sell off all their shares, lol
KCC based on my frequency of posts on this msg board indicator which is trending significantly higher, combined with my let's all whine until we get what we want now index also trending significantly higher, I would put the odds of a pr next week at approx 62.5%, lol
not quite that bad, lol, avi gets a salary of over $400k, sacks the cfo gets almost $400k, and the cto gets $250k, but the real kicker over at gig is how seriously avi dilutes the common shareholder with incentive compensation, anybody ever look at gig's financial presentations? avi has already awarded more than 50% the number of common shares outstanding in less than 5 years, and at the current pace those awards will tally over 100% of the common shares outstanding in another few years, now that is crazy
Tom's getting a 50% raise? looks like $225,000 a year versus what I see on Yahoo Profile page of $150,000
sure hope this means we are getting super duper close to that long awaited news of substance
if you mean on the 50k shares bid, I could only wish I had that much available coin laying around to throw down here below a buck, I did manage to scoop a few shares in the low 70's though, still a mile behind you guys I'm sure, but if this ever rockets like we all want it to one of these days, I'll still be making some decent bucks I'm sure
Jeez, looks like somebody wants in badly this am
50k on the bid now at .90
what is this initial validation of the materials in device use worth to you?
I ask you, is it a tip of a very large iceberg that is about to be seen by the world?
we've got liftoff! sales!
