A real classic. Seems to me that he and this Huffman character are made for each other. Is he still an SFRX attorney?
Quote: Why would you consider selling to competitors.

What competitors. Thats just part of this joke. The State of Florida doesn't issue salvage contracts other than those grandfathered in under Fisher. Outside the USA, near all countries, covering lucrative treasure hunting areas, have signed on to the UNESCO Underwater Cultural Heritage Treaty. No commercial treasure hunting.

It wasn't that long ago when Tinkerbell and the new 'Indiana Jones' genius was the amazing all and everything. Now forgotten, swept under the carpet. Now its the buck rogers sea mobile find-all. It seems apparent that few posting here even know anything about marine remote sensing surveys. If a actual wreck site was in the current SFRX lease area, a competent survey with a cesium marine magnetometer would have found it a long time ago. Its my understanding that kind of survey was already done - no wreck. No treasure. For the next act. The buck rogers sea mobile to the rescue.
It seems with these people, it never ends. The dangling carrot for the hold-over until next season. This one is just about over. I keep forgetting, the new buck rogers sea mobile can work in bad weather.
Quote: Can be used even in bad weather.

A rather key statement that tells me they don't know what they're talking about. Remote operated vehicles. or otherwise, need to be deployed and retrieved from a support vessel. These procedures are not done in bad weather. I don't see the likes of a vessel like the Iron Maiden doing this. Have they installed a hydraulic handling crane?
Quote: You might want to listen to Tim Renyolds talk about the SeaSearcher before you keep calling it a joke.

Who's Tim Reynolds that I should be impressed? When I see actual performance and something beyond all talk and fantasyland drawings, then I may take a different view. Better yet, when it finds the wreck that isn't there. Until then, I'm still laughing.
I mean, what can I really say. A drawing of the new buck rogers sea mobile. What a joke.
Where did they pick that up, at Toys-Are-Us? You have got to be kidding.
Oh boy, and the band played on.
Quote: Yes, I was one of those smart shoppers and am laughing! Love it!

'Hot air' promotion profits. No substance. This company has had no success in the so called treasure hunting business in well over ten years. Always a 'now for the next act' carrot dangle. Now I suppose its the fantasy land 'buck rogers find all under the sea mobile. The Tinkerbell, answer to all, was a dud but this invent the wheel all over again apparatus is going to find the wreck that isn't there. If it were, a cesium magnetometer would have found it a long time ago. Didn't the CEO say 'we're on the wreck' three years ago? Where's the evidence. Where's the gold and silver? You say you are laughing. I'm laughing louder.

Appears the 'hot air balloon' is on a slow deflate. I guess no worries though. Tinkerbell fizzed but the new buck rogers sea mobile's coming to the rescue. Maybe next season? Better than going to the circus.
And the band played on. What a show. So maybe next season?

You first claimed this........
Quote:
I bet it really says the SeaSearcher will be used for commerce and the application was submitted May 15th, but I cannot get to the root link.
So we’ve gone from “will be” to it was first used in commerce on May 15th, which is what I said they claimed in the application.
Too funny.
Where’s the silver and gold?

they should consider trading with China.
Maybe they’ll sell em some cheap artifacts. They certainly can’t seem to find any.
But Tinkerbell 2.0 works, huh?

This is an on going 'and the band played on' scenario.
'Galleon Quest' quite an outfit. Dr. Lee Spence Chief Archaeologist. My understanding is that Spence is a 'mail-order' PhD archaeologist. As to finding hundreds of millions of dollars of sunken treasure, that's really a statement for someone who never found or salvaged a Spanish treasure galleon in his entire life. Its rather clear that squire Hoffman (SFRX attorney>) is part of this band of merry men. I wonder in what UNESCO Underwater Cultural Heritage Controlled country are they going to hunt for sunken galleons in?
Quote: Thanks for the clarification, i do not agree with the assumption that Huffman is conflicted, probably because for some strange reason we have different definitions of the word.

Now that I come to think of it, possibly I was trying to communicate the fact that if this squire Huffman is a SFRX attorney, now being a principal with the other 'Indiana Jones' Spence seems to be a conflict of interest.
Quote: Spence was directly or indirectly responsible for the discovery and recovery of an estimated $1 billion in treasure including playing an important role in the researching and locating of the treasure-rich wrecks of the SS Republic and SS Central America.
________________________________
Spence had absolutely nothing to do with the SS Central America as found by Tommy Thompson of Colombus America. Burt Webber working with Colombia University was in competition with them at the time. I know this is covered in his new biography "A Master on the Spanish Main" Amazon.com
As time goes by I view the 'Peruvian death mask' incident with more and more suspicion. As just casually found on the beach by the companies new 'Indiana Jones', having just waltzed into the picture on the launching of the coincidental PR. Great timing. Remarkable.
Not trying to tell the BOARD anything. I never used the word board in my previous post.

A billion laughs but don't offend the sheeples.
This I have known about for quite some time. The so called DR. Spence hasn't ever found or excavated a Spanish treasure shipwreck in his lifetime. I had to assume this was the same Huffman of SFRX fame. Apparently Huffman and Kennedy had a parting? Anyway, he and Spence belong together. Birds of a feather. I love Spence's self-assessment of himself; another Indiana Jones (how many are they?) and the real Dirk Pitt. He indeed dresses the part. Maybe a Hollywood scout will take notice.
I listened to the interview. Impressive career back ground in the U.S. Navy but quite naive respective to this industry. Nothing in that entire interview clarifies that they are 'on the wreck' as the CEO said three years ago. As to his comment with regard to Mel Fisher - I'm smiling. The actual registry of the 1715 Concepcion doesn't even hold a candle to that of the 1622 Atocha. Nothing new; gonna be, wanna be but don't worry, Tinkerbell II coming to the rescue. That will most assuredly find the wreck that isn't there.

Quote: Ownership isn’t a moot point.

With the exception of those shipwrecks of the 1715 fleet previously known, being salvaged, and having been grandfathered in to Mel Fisher, the State of Florida hasn't issued an actual salvage permit in decades. The closest it came was with Global Marine. When they made their major discovery of a historical 16th century believed to be French shipwreck off of Canaveral, the state went and stabbed them in the back legally, never granting them the rights to salvage. Thats still being fought in the courts. Here, with this company's cheerleaders bedtime stories seem to prevail believing that when and if they'd ever even find a treasure wreck, everything is going to work out just fine. Live and learn.

Quote: This time picture a piece of equipment that works the way they want. Then picture them selling this equipment to other folks, people with other contracts,
_________________________________________________
Why don't you explain what this 'invent the wheel all over again' piece of equipment is suppose to do and how? You keep ignoring the aspects of cesium magnetometry surveys and what the inevitable results are when surveying for a shipwreck. Where the shipwreck is, there's where the bulk of the treasure is. If one is not familiar with Spanish Colonial period shipwrecks and are not experienced with the procedures and results of magnetometer remote sensing surveys, then one has hardly a clue of what I'm talking about. As to selling or applying the 'invent the wheel all over again Tinkerbell II (if it even worked), you seem to be forgetting all the countries that have now banned commercial treasure hunting under the terms and conditions of the UNESCO Underwater Cultural Heritage Treaty. Perhaps gold mine prospecting in Arizona or Colorado might be more productive if the new Tinkerbell II technology even works.
Quote: You seem to have blinders on? Why is it you are missing the equipment they are working on? The contracts with the government? I'm sure the equipment they are working on could be used in any area. Most of us realize that once the equipment is working or maybe it all ready is? Then the treasure will be in hand!! The equipment will be worth $$$$ JMO
_________________________
'Seem to have blinders on'. The question is who's wearing the blinders.?The equipment they are working on, I suppose this second round on Tinkerbell II. Question is what they even need it for? Probably the sixth time I've said it but if a proper survey had been done (which I'll assume it has) utilizing the G-882 Cesium magnetometer with altimeter control, if this shipwreck was there, it would have been found a long time ago. Flotsam is not a shipwreck. So I must assume that the new yet to be proven Tinkerbell II will magically produce the wreck which the now gone Indiana Jones stated has (ridiculous) four billion dollars in treasure. The wreck that apparently isn't even there. Can't disregard those repeatedly stated government contracts that represent one percent of a percent of what? No disclosure to date of profits if any at all. Who's wearing the blinders?
