The smart money is with you pal. Gonna see 90 then 100 pps. Bless my dear wife when she convinced me to put a boatload of money into buying this stock around $10.00/share five years ago. Smartest thing I've done.....Pays to listen to the wife once in awhile.
Japan is gearing up it's reactors and U is becoming hot again. This is a fine company to own in this energy group and DNN has some great properties... http://finance.yahoo.com/news/denison-announces-high-grade-uranium-133000376.html
Sure would be awesome to get a dividend out of this deal..
Lookit it GO!! Yeah! BMSN!!
Ride the Rocket! Go BMSN!
I think it's prime for a breakout above these prices. Lovin' this stock....So far a 3 1/2-bagger and counting....
"A signature and a deal in a little over two weeks." Remember, we're all agreed that these gentlemen will not face an audience of angry shareholders in May....
OK, that's a little over nine weeks, but by AGM time, it must be done. The recourse if it isn't? Probably a mass dumping of shares. JJ will never see his .10 pps conversion price and there would be a lot of general unhappiness. Just don't see that in the cards (or tea leaves), by kracky.
“Please note, that for a two-week period, beginning February 26, 2013, a representative of the Company will be traveling to South America to conduct corporate business.” I take it that this business is “completing the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with the major tier mining company” mentioned in the first sentence of the update.
If so, we could have a signature and a deal in a little over two weeks.
Your're right in your assessment of the man. In my neck of the woods at least, when a man says he's going to do something, he does it. Anything else demonstrates poor character, regardless if the man's line of work is sales or not.
Like many others, I hope that the mountain will prove itself despite the distractions of this person. I've always maintained that if an investor were to take stock only in what was published on the official company website, expectations would be considerably different from those garnered from the gossip circuit.
“And sorry, but I can't name my contacts,” the tea leaves wouldn’t work anymore for me.
You’ve identified the tea leaves as your source repeatedly in the past, Krak. Has anything changed?
We don't usually finish people's sentences for them. Not unless we are inserting our own information. This takes an exchange from fact to conjecture, not a good thing for those doing honest DD.
Care to name your source, Krak?
Krak, you are inserting your own words into a posting that occurred on another forum. The exchange actually looked like this:
“_______wrote:
there seems to be a rumor that an announcement will take til MAY. SO I heard that this morning and asked LES his thoughts on that rumor.
FWIW
Quote:
Garbage as usual”
The qualifier here is the word "til". Omit that word and the entire meaning of the exchange changes completely. It becomes a meaningless fabrication.
In my opinion, this deal is going to have to be so sweet that all will be forgiven. That’s the only way the BOD will withstand the crowd. Can you imagine an interrogation coming from a ticked off BE, for example? Or an obscenity laced rant from a hot headed Jersey restaurateur? Roundmot would look like Chatty Cathy in comparison.
No, there’s a far different mood this time. What self-respect the Board members had would be whittled down to shavings. That kind of spectacle is just not going to happen. The AGM would have never been called if that were to be the result.
Beth, It may be my imagination, but I am getting the impression that more than ever, shareholders have really had it with excuses. I just can not believe that Mr. Chapin or one of the other gentleman of the BOD would face this current crowd unless they had actually delivered the entire enchilada on a golden platter.
If I were an officer of the company, it would not make very good sense at all to call an AGM, face a crowd of angry shareholders who spent time and money to come to Vegas, and then ply the crowd with promises of “very very soon” or “I have a contract in my pocket.” At this juncture, that is beyond nonsensical. It would be mad. We've all read the many, many posts expressing shareholder disatisfaction. The entire BOD would risk tar and feathering.
When the officers report at the upcoming AGM, they had better have more than just promises of a deal. Anything less than a completed, signed deal with some drilling results thrown in as well as solid updates on the LDM will be met very poorly by the shareholders. There is no way a meeting would be called with anything less offered to the shareholder base. Management is well aware of the current mood.
The thought crossed my mind that the AGM announcement was made to buy time, but that's an improbable option. The fallout coming from a delayed or cancelled meeting would seriously hurt future share prices. Remember that value of the common stock affects everyone now, including JJ.
Everything considered, the only smart conclusion here is that the "news" we have all been waiting for is good, probably very good. Any other conclusion just doesn't make a lot of sense.
Excellent presentation of an important fact. Thanks to the technical analysis provided by you and another poster, many of us were able to curb our enthusiasm and look for buying opportunities in this stock when the price was right. When the MACD crossover or other indicators presented themselves, you let us know then that that pps was a good entry point.
The market rewards those with a pragmatic outlook. If we are swayed by emotion or are taken in by the scuttle, we lose.
Sure, I got carried away once or twice and paid too much. Thanks to your advice however, I was able to keep my cost average at around a nickel.
Yep, ready for the big boomage...Let the good times roll!
Yep, that's pretty simple..and always leads to the truth about motives.
You're entitled to your opinion, Krak. I really question why anyone would choose Medinah as a trading stock. There are just so many much better choices out there with better volatility and much better swings.
I'm going with what Rick says and consider this to be a one-shot "binary event" play. And that's not withstanding the fact that the pricipals have surely made some money the bad old-fashioned way...
Yes, very impressive. "In 1984 he and transplant surgeon John Wallwork founded Imutran Limited, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of Novartis Pharma AG in 1996, and Dr White was appointed to the Novartis Global Research Management Board"
Of course, "Novartis International AG is a Swiss multinational pharmaceutical company based in Basel, Switzerland, ranking number two in sales (46.806 billion US$) among the world-wide industry in 2010." -en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novartis
Could be the start of something big. Is this stock a sleeping giant?
Good questions, Krak. Of course you know where the scuttle originates. To be fair, posters on this forum refuse to divulge sources too.
Heard Roberto is being groomed to field the avalanche of phone calls coming when this thing erupts.
Right here...Ready for some long term capital gains..
The language in their report is guarded but they do indicate fuel runs this month. That's a promising statement. Keeping my shares. My position is showing a profit already. Show me a multi-bagger!
Well, they have some patents and the main guy seems pretty bright. This will be a keeper. Something might pan out..
Darn good inside source you have there, Krak.
Will Bogdan stop at nothing to derail this deal?
Halfway through discovery with partnership?
"When companies go through discovery, preclinical and clinical stages in partnering deals, usually the licensee obtains a right or an option right to license the licensors product or compound. These deals tend to be multicomponent, starting with collaborative R&D, and commercialization of outcomes".

What I'm saying, Krak, is that while my Medinah profits (on paper) are currently around 20%, some of the other pennies in my portfolio have been at 2500%, and blue-chips up to 800%. Yes, I'm bragging. Of all these stocks, Medinah holds my interest the most. What about you?
Averaged out over the past three years, my average carrot price has been just under a nickel a share. Well worth the price of admission for this geo-nut. If it just so happens to be the "world class deposit" some have thought it could be...Well that would be just grand. Meanwhile, I'll make my money (and plenty of it) elsewhere.
For those who have put all their carrots in one Medinah basket, well, live and learn. That's not so grand.
Here's to a 24 carrot week!
This is incorrect. Perhaps viable partner is the qualifier here. Ulander was a potential partner, but he couldn’t raise the cash. Some of the other JV's are still cloaked in their NDA's.
By the way, there are very few absolutes in our world and "truth" is not one of them.
OMG, I left the board for morning break, come back, and....ESPN, PR, Beast Mode, heavy volume ,WOW!
Movin' up a bit on light volume....
How could we forget the widows? By the way, there's no need to tell me to be careful.
That's right. No point in beating a dead horse.
Mining is a slow, slow business to be invested in. Couple that with the "manana" way of doing things found in the Latin countries and this story can get old in a hurry. Not a scam IMO, but not a "get rich quick" proposition either....One should certainly spread ones money around in the market and not have a majority of funds stuck in a slow performer. There are plenty of more exciting opportunities out there.
The "AK" caption behind the cartoon head refers to Mr. Allan Klepfisz, CEO of Brilliant Technologies. This drawing originally had no intended reference to Medinah Minerals.
This stock has been dogging my portfolio for several years since the Fukishima accident took me from a four-bagger to being a bagholder. Excitement in the U sector is growing, however. Always thought this was a fine company and would recommend this stock to anyone wanting exposure (the good kind) to uranium.
That would be some incredible publicity...
Will be a week to enjoy!
