I'm sure the "shorters" created the NI 43-101 also. You are aware that the geologist who SAEI claims surveyed their grounds has spoken out against the company and said he never provided his services. Maybe the "shorters" got a hold of him and had him lie for them so they could make a quick buck? Seems far-fetched IMO.
Did the "shorters" also release the numerous PR's under the guise of SAEI? Seems like an awful lot to risk (not only money but your freedom) just to flip a quick buck!
Impeccible DD, you certainly have gone above and beyond. We need to get you in touch with an SEC investigator. You can certainly help them uncover the fraud here, and they might even offer you a job! lol
Also, an email to "investors who call the IR hotline" is not PR! A PRESS RELEASE is available to the public, not a private email to those who "signed up" for it.
This REEKS! How many different allegations of fraud does it take to keep some of you away from trading a stock??
Breakout? Because the PPS is now over a dime? The buyout offer is at $2.50. Any "breakout" here should send the PPS well over $1. Anything short of that (and this is WELL short of that) is manipulation made to suck in more misinformed investors, and entirely unrelated to a $2.50 buyout offer.
1) They misspelled his name and business on purpose, so as not to implicate themselves.
2) He is not the 5th richest man in Russia, but the 2nd. Another 'misquote' so they can claim it was a different person if need be.
3) The buyout offer was at $2.50 two full trading days ago, yet the current PPS is under $.10, or less than 4% of that offer. Fear may account for PPS being slightly lower than the offer, but not 4%. However, fraud could certainly account for PPS being less than 4% of a buyout offer.
I just looked at today's PPS and it is still under .10, yet you still believe a $2.50 buyout offer is legitimate. Whoever "Lisa" is, she is either lying or incredibly misinformed. If a $2.50 buyout offer were legitimate, the PPS would not be less than 4% of that offer 2 days later. Use your head.
PR saying they were loaned 10m is one thing. Putting that in a 10Q is another.
If you can find any information in any of their SEC filings indicating they have received a 10m loan, then you may have something. If you cannot, all you have discovered is yet another misleading PR by SAEI.
Not telling anyone to sell or buy or hold. Make your own decision.
However, the FACT is that two days after a $2.50 buyout offer, the PPS is under a dime. Less than 4% of the buyout offer.
Skepticism and/or fear might have kept it down maybe 10% below the actual offer, but only fraud will keep it that low for that long.
Also fact:
Two full trading days after a $2.50 buyout offer, the PPS sits under $.10.
Would love to see some volume here..
gm gumzsa, a meaty 8k today would make for a mighty fine hump day!
I agree. I am long and strong here!
http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0001431837&owner=exclude&count=40
Refresh this page every 10 min or so looking for an 8k to pop on there!
That is making a lot of far fetched assumptions. I have seen stuff on this board in the last few days lending to the theory that there are organized shorters targeting specific stocks. However, it seems they would be taking on a lot of risk to keep a company with a $2.50 buyout offer under .2 for a couple days.
While it is plausible, it seems incredibly far fetched IMO. There are so many differnt plays to make in pinks, I don't see any reason to invest/attempt to flip SAEI, best bet is to steer clear. If you are already invested there, GLTY.
I would love to see the 8k for Christmas, do not get me wrong! The sooner the better!
I was only replying to someone saying this will go subpenny if we do not see it soon, which I strongly disagree with, for the reasons I already listed.
I disagree, if traders want to buy xmas presents for their kids they will sell other positions before getting rid of their LOCN shares for .05 each. Very, very poor trading selling at these levels. Few people will decide to sell here, and if they do, their shares will be scooped up in the blink of an eye by stronger hands. LOCN for under a penny is an opportunity of a lifetime. If the PPS goes that low, the float will be even more locked up than it already is.
Wait for the filings like the rest of us. If you are impatient, sell for a loss and move on. No one is forcing you to hold, buy or sell. You are free to make your own decisions.
Support is so strong here. Looks like anyone who is waiting for lower levels is going to be left out!
It is certainly something I will consider when I see returns from some of my other positions. As of now I am tapped out, unfortunately. It is definitely smart trading to average my position down, for the reasons you mentioned. Thanks for your advice!
I haven't. I wish I did back when it was a lot lower, but at this point I have already devoted my available cash to other positions. Maybe I can use some returns from one of them to avg down a little, but after seeing SIRI's performance in the last year I am confident it will get back to a level where I can profit if I am patient enough.
I stepped away from trading in '08 after a lot of my stocks lost value and only recently got back to my portfolio a few months ago. SIRI is doing a lot better than some of the other ones which never recovered at all.
At least they spelled Prokhorov's name right, which is much more important. SAEI got it wrong and they supposedly received a buyout offer from him.
Only if you bought at 1.41 and expected it to spike and it didn't happen. $1.41 is a great position for this stock long term. The slow climb here will continue through 2011, you will see steady gains month after month.
Back in '07, before everything crashed in '08. Still holding strong though, looking to recoup my investment. With the way things are going, seems I will be able to do so in about a year and a half or so.
EDIT: More specifically, $3.26/share
LOL! Yeah he said he did
Relax my friend, I didn't say you lost money. I was merely speaking hypotheically saying that the only way anyone were to lose money is to sell for a loss before filings hit. All I was saying is to calm down, if you need to reread the DD to remind yourself why you are holding, then do that.
I don't think we have been waiting for the filings for a 'very long time.' In the grand scheme of things a month and a half is not an unbearable waiting period. It is possible it will be another month and a half until the filings come out, or it could be today, we don't know.
I have not lost any confidence whatsoever. Nothing is wearing thin here, and I believe most on this board are still extremely confident and can continue waiting however long we need. Just remember, Heskett will not fail us. To reiterate my previous post, the only way anyone fails on this play is by selling before the filings come out. GLTY!
Only thing causing you to lose money on this play is a lack of patience. We can't will the 8k out, it will come out when it is good and ready, and I plan on having every share I currently hold when it does.
gm gum!
You ignored the content of my post. I never claimed to be an excellent speller. Answer the one question I posed and maybe we can engage in discourse over the topic.
The only spelling errors I came across in the PR's were associated with proper names (people and companies). If, as you claim, their spelling in general is so poor as it is not their native language, why did they not misspell anything except the most important identifying information?
Like I said, I really don't care if you believe me or not. I am an opinionated person and I have been reading the board so I add my 2 cents. I don't know why that is a difficult thing to believe, but whatever. I am reading a discussion and joining in, there really is nothing more to it, and it shouldn't be that difficult to believe that some people do this.
English is spoken/written by anywhere between 500,000,000 and 1.8 billion people. They should have no problem finding someone to compose or edit their press release in English. Spelling errors in an email or memo are one thing, but an official press release to the public is another. On top of that, the only spelling/grammar errors in the PR are associated with proper names and companies, please explain that to me if you can.
If my company ever filed an official press release I can guarantee you that there would be no spelling errors, especially wehn it comes to proper names. If that press release were to be in another language I can also guarantee that somebody who is completly versed in that written language would review it.
Not that it matters, but I have never purchased SAEI stock, never plan to, and I do not short any stocks period. You can believe me or not believe me, I don't really care either way. I can also only speak for myself, not anyone else.
That being said, I am not "bashing" but simply pointing out what some SAEI investors may find difficult to see as I am from the outside looking in. My only reason for doing so is that it honestly pains me to see my peers in the OTC investment community taken to the cleaners by what I can see to be a blatant scam.
The misspellings are calculated and done on purpose. This way, they can claim that they never solicited "Greg Parham" but "Graig Parham" who is a 'different person.' Same with Prokhorov (leaving an 'h' off) and his company.
They did file suit, against internet bashers. So instead of defending themselves from allegations of fraud they whine about anonymous people calling them names on the internet.
Yet there are still people here imploring others to invest in this company. It is purely mind boggling.
Someone with incredible foresight obviously decided that this was the best way to use their gift and scam a bunch of people.
Agreed, how many red flags does it take for some people to actually question whether or not a company is legitimate. There have been a large number of allegations towards this company and people are still throwing money at it. There are so many different plays to flip or invest in, I am clueless as to why new traders are getting involved here after all that has already happened.
Buyout offer of $2.50 and the PPS sinks to .18, and people are still defending SAEI?
At the very least, people need to acknowledge that the buyout offers were not legitimate. If there were any legitimacy whatsoever to either offer, regardless of fear and skepticism this stock should be well over $1 by now.
C'monnnn 8k!
I am under.
Probably, I thought they would walk it down this far last week, surprised it took them this long.
It's all good, we still have a very strong majority (IMO around 90%) of this float locked up, so when the filings come out, we will have liftoff!
Looks good! I'm content with my position at .0002, still waiting for this thing to eclipse .0005
Yeah you are making me feel better about my 4's now!
Glad to see a good crowd here today. I think if we are patient and persistent we will be rewarded on this play.
