Bio...agreed!
Should be much higher by then as well.
That's what we need..a good old fashion bid....(smile)
Something big? What happened..am I missing something?
Thanks smitter... Jim
SMITTER..WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE DEAL HERE?
Yes Jerle I agree...she probably thought JPM's attornies would do the right thing...as of now looks like they are willing to face the Wrath of Weil in court.
Fred..One of those days...weeks...lives..LOL
I meant to say "Yes it does...Is Warath..."
Yes...Does Is Walrath considered a great Judge? As I have stated Im not savvy on judicial workings but she seems to be dragging her feet.
Jerle..yes I tend to agree...I pick up a few here and there when i can.
More towards $4 If common stays intact..Its been tumbling lately ..inmho
K...thanks loco
Thanks for your comment... I am sure that the conversation is going something like this,(remember I'm not an attorney).. "There is either a settlement that we (WAMU)is happy with or we will destroy you in discovery..we will deposition those plants in WAMU and they will spill their guts onstage and this will turn from bad to worse for you real quick...at that point the FDIC will get the kind of unpopular press only nightmares could create and dropped jaws will be the order of the day....get ready to burn.
Thanks fsshon for that post on Cramer ~Jim
TPG is the common man's savior in this whole mess !!>
I wouldn't put all my faith on the shoulders of some other entity.
So when do you feel this stock will start moving upwards instead of down?
$10+
Many thanks as well..I'm not an attorney but a business man so all of my interpretations come from the street "gut". Jim
Thanks..No I know what a reverse is.. an example.. 1 for 10 is like reducing share amounts to a 1/10 of previously owned and pps would rise by factor of 10.... at this stage pps would be $1 (aprx)and now for that elusive $12 Diamond figure you would have a 1200% rise from $1 instead of 12000% rise from .10. long as we're throwing crazy numbers. Values stay the same in a reverse except the rise is not as great % wise i.e. .10 to $12 versus $1 to $12. It's all smoke and mirrors at this point anywho...
Lawrence..thanks...Too early I guess to get excited about anything..much more to come...FDIC and JPM not going down without a huge fight INMHO.
Tom...a couple posts ago you stated, "Unfortunately I think the reorg plan will have a reverse split in it"
Now you are saying no restructuring of the shares? Which one is it? I don't see a reverse split. The commmon holders are not going to have gone through all of this (including TPG) then sit through a reverse split.
tomcougar...explain the revers plit deal..i dont see that.
fsshon..thanks I agree. So do you feel as one poster here said that any settlement might involve a reverse split on WAMU?
Unfortunately I think the reorg plan will have a reverse split in it>
Wow that would destroy the $8-$12 dreams here.
fsshon..so are you feeling 75% good about this going forward? Thanks for you commentary... Jim
Well the higher the better!
sidedraft..exactly! (smile)
Dont'put the cart before the ...well you know
right
I hope they are avereaged higher than that
I hope you don't invest based on that..
Anyone know what TPS's avereage price per share is? I hear alot about them but little supporting evidence. Thanks.
Yes TPG is an important part of this
I don't think that is possible at this point but it would be great. I would transfer all my funds there immediately. I always did like WAMU.
Ok thanks Jerle..
pennyrich...thanks..Jim
Jerle.. Has bopfan ever suggested what he feels common will be worth in the end should they survive? Is he closer to Diamonds' $12 view? Thanks.
So Weil and company get us a large settlement and A&M hold the flag for the common group walking us safely out of bankruptcy.
