No company puts out news until they can put it out there. Even though they may like to put something out they simply cannot until said event happens.
And to think Elite puts out a PR because they are forced to is simply wrong. No company is forced to put PRs out. Elite is no exception.
Hope the bears keep raiding those Elite picnic baskets.
JJM, LTD
Tangerine my thoughts are much like yours on the microtablet. Possibilities are limited only to what idrugs are currently on the market.
Elite sure is putting a lot out there. Speculative? Not hardly. Elite is the real deal.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
tangerine I have been reading your DD on the microtablet. All that you have posted from the USPO about this patent.
This patent has me very excited. Will not go into it on this forum but there is reason to be just as excited about this patent as shareholders were with the abuse resistance patent. Although
the microtablet is not diectly connected to abuse resistance it can be indirectly connected in my not so humble opinin.
Not only that but all of the drug applications this process can be used for. Some will try to
poo poo this patent as just another meaningless attempt at an arrow in Elite's quiver. My expertise in this field tells me otherwise. This patent is potentially huge.
Thank you and Lasers for some fine reads. This board is awesome. Most of you have your thinking caps on.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
Just wondering who if anybody is supplying companies like Watson or HiTech or Epic with microtablet technology. How good is it if they are using it? What makes Elite's technology so
unique that they would get a patent? Or is it the way in which Elite manufactures the microtablets? The method or process they have created.
If other companies have this technology available why isn't everything in microtablet form?
This is supposed to be the more cost effective means by which to do things. Not only that,
better control on dosing, more efficient overall. Perplexing as to why these other companies have not cashed in on their microtablet technologies.
And yet Elite, if they get their patent approved, will have something unique that does all of the above. Imagine ECR Epic Actavis aka Watson licensing Elite's microtablet technology out.
If it gets patent approved there has to be something that sets it apart from all of the others.
James joseph Meeker, LTD
Not the Elite way. It will be interesting to see if Elite infringes on anyone elses technology.
My guess is that they will not. Their method is unique.
JJM
Sorry about that last reply, all in bold. Just meant to highlight overdue.
James Joseph Meeker
One thing is obvious, there are many things overdue. Could be many reasons why. One that comes to mind is work on the opiate and BE study.
For a small company they have their hands full. That IMO is a good thing.
JJM
Elite has some fascinating med delivery technologies. Couch I am sure they have ideas for other types of delivery as per your private mail to me. =>Not sure why either. So sorry I could not reply to your message, I am not a paying subscriber to this board forum.
I do encourage those who invest in Elite to please call IR Dianne Will if you have any questions at all concerning the company. The worst she can do is give you a non-response due to the nature of the information.
All the best Couch.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
Could you please post links to those similar technologies? If "they" are working on those similar technologies for medication delivery when do "they" expect to have those technologies available for market or their own patent? TIA doctor.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
poorme what I think is that shares are in stronger hands as time goes by. The trading levels we saw a year ago are a thing of the past. Oh yeah...that occasional blip on the upside, but just as quick the share price came right back down. With potential news coming I do not think that will happen with Elite this year as much if it does happen at all.
Levels are going to increase as we are seeing right now.
Elite could dip to 10 or 11 cents,,,, but seriously I think those days could be over as well.
Someone has gotten word of something. There is major accumulation ongoing not just from the average Joe Six-shares like us. There are those on Wall Street well aware of what is going down in NorthVale NJ. They were ready to jump on Elite just before the FDA pulled the rug out on Lodrane and that is a fact. Heard that from a very good source. If this company becomes anywhere near cash flow positive with no problems in sight I think Elite shareholders sit in a very uncommon and unique position. Just hold and smile.
I have bought shares as high as 23 cents and as low as 7 cents. I continue to buy if and when I can. Could be this company is all smoke and mirrors, that my chance for financial freedom is baseless, that Elite could languish at pennies on the dollar for years..... but in my heart I know what this company once was and what it is today. This is termed a fallen angel with a golden opportunity to make its partners and us shareholders some good money.
As Boz Scaggs says, "dont sweat the small stuff, just get on that natch".
Accumulate at these prices while you can. This will not last forever. Mark this post if you like.
See if I am right or if I was wrong.
Accumulating when I can....
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
conix, I really like the MACD.
cargo, I agree completely. Have been thinking about dumping another position to grab more Elite. Have not as of yet and will probably do my usual regrets later.
Skydog I see $0.20 as a near term possibility. Ms. Will had once told someone news would be coming in waves. I believe she was a bit premature when she said that back then.
If it comes in waves I think it will be in the near term future. Sell out on news may be a mistake
if they have multiple PRs coming. A big if, but..........
Jimmy Joe
To all ELTP longs:
It seems as if Elite Pharmaceutical share price is creeping up on something anticipated. Now it may well be that the share price will be built into the news once an announcement is made, but one thing strikes me as funny. It is how the share price is "creeping" up.
Over the past few days the end of the day has shown the share price to spike with the last few
trades. At first I thought this was manipulation, but as I am looknig at today's action I see accumulators starting to chase the price up.This has become more evident as the week has
gone on.
Anyone else see what I am seeing? Or is it wishful thinking on my part?
Comments welcomed. TIA
Jimmy Joe
Will anyone from this board be attending the shareholders meeting this year?
Would like to get some perspective from someone that actually attends.
Should be an announcement soon.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
Why is it you think manufacturers put out such lists of drugs in short supply?
This is not rocket science. Think about that one please. Why would manufacturers provide that information? Time to put on your thinking cap.
Supply/demand.
Elite could well be in the catbirds seat with Naltrexone approval.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
Great board and great DD. Just so that this remains unbiased, a reminder to try to keep an open mind about your investments, lest we get accused of pumping,
Okay, with that disclosure out of the way I will be buying more ELTP soon. LOL!
Kudos to the moderators.
JJM
Not giving you advice doctor. You do what you think best for you about this company.
If I did not know better I would say you come off a bit jaded. Whatever.
My only advice is for those that have looked at this company as a long term investment and decided against it, to look again.
Train is now boarding passangers. Leaving Central Station sooner than later. The ride will be a slow sentimental journey.
By the by, I never give advice to those who already made their mind up. Just let it ride and watch the dust settle.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
BTW, the company I mentioned had to have $20 million in revenue just to become CFP. Elite needs what? Maximum %1.2 million? If
that?
Someone needs to put on his/her thinking cap.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
20 million in revenue is chicken feed in the generic drug biz. When you couple that with specific types of medication delivery that noone else has, well, maybe you get the picture,
maybe you don't.
My point was that Elite will be CFP at a much lower cost than the company I mentioned which
spends bookoo dollars on cancer R&D. That in itself should help to offset the shares outstanding that Elite carries.
There are many facets to this diamond. Some people do not see. Enlightenment and be enriched.
JJM
As an aside the mayor of Trenton NJ arrested on multiple counts. One of which is involvment in an oxycontin drug trafficing ring. It is bad out there folks. Epidemic is putting it mild.
Jimmy Joe
Hi all.
Been reading many of the posts here, all very informative. Helotours, thanks for your posts.
Very interesting indeed.
Couch you were right about Elite blipping on more and more radars. Recently took a look at a small pharma with $20 million in revenue. They have a total of 109 million shares outstanding.
Recently the CEO of that particular company projected cash flow positive in 2012. They go for $3.90.share right now.
Even though Elite has a higher shares outstanding by a factor of 3, I think Elite is way undervalued at current shareprices. When they get their next launch the whole picture will begin to change IMO.
Adding more products to thier portfolio only solidifies their position in the industry. They have a lot going on for such a small work force. Trust me, these guys are doing a big job. Timelines
must be set up for the Hong Kong customer as well. The push is on in so many ways. Do not envy those that work at Elite right now, although the payoff will be well worth it. Also IMO.
Keep up the good DD over here, Moderators are fantastic.
James Joseph Meeker, LTD
Hospital setting may be totally different than R&D in a corporate setting. Yvonne Patterson
owns patents specific to Lysteria platform developed at the the U of Penn (could be HUP).
Those are her own patents.
I know of folks who worked for big corporations like DuPont where their research developed at DuPont's R&D site is a patent developed by them with their name on it but owned by DuPont.
When you are hired in you sign on the dotted line specifying any IP developed by you is the sole property of the company.
Do not think hospitals have this type stipulation.
Jimmy Joe
"I think there will be two patents on this as Lasers noted. One specifically identifying the Eli 216 aspect and the one I noted today."
That is how I also see it. Shareholders meeting will be interesting in how far they have come in a year for those that attended last year. Anyone that attended last year and will be attending this year please keep us informed. Not sure my Jazzy can make it to NorthVale at 3mph.
May also need a recharge.
As noted by some of you youngsters (65 and younger) the micro tablets could pose a problem
for the elderly whose eyesight ain't what it used to be. You wise guys! LOL! Free eyeglasses
with every prescription.

FWIW, I contacted ECR about the Lodrane 24/24D. Their reply FWIW:
Hello Mr. Meeker,
Regarding the Lodrane extended-release products: The 12-hour product would
likely be the first approved as it is submitted and under review. The two
24-hour products would follow and decisions whether to market all three
would be made when the 24-hour products are available. We are unable to
provide an expected product launch date at this time. Twenty-four hour
products offer advantages for allergy and chronic conditions, as well as
more acute conditions. Twelve hour products may be useful in both but are
likely more useful in acute conditions. The availability of the products
will influence market decisions.

Tangerine, related but different? In that case I think we shareholders can also look foward to yet another patent app in the near future. Would be interested in finding out if this patent is SO
related to ELI-216 that it would be hard for a competitor to go through this procedure without infringing on the current application.
This is getting awefully interesting. Elite is not your typical one shot pony "OTC BB" "penny stock". There is REAL possibility here.
Think of the micro process as also being a possible cost saver. Less money spent on fillers, more effective and accurate dosing.
And another point, Chris Dick is not just a suit. This guy knows his stuff. Is Chris any relation to Tim Dick CFO of Akorn, where Jerry Treppel cut some of his teeth?
Very small world. Eh?
JJM
In a conversation I had with Dianne a few months back, she had talked about Elite trying to get a patent for the method/process used to make ELI-216. Wonder if there is some connection between this method and the current manufacture process for ELI-216?
Or maybe the manufacture process/method is different for ELI-216.
Anyway, I thought I would pass this on FWIW. Nice find tangerine.
JJM
Constipation is a problem with all opioid medications. Sennicot,
Dulcolax stool softener, 1-2 ounces warm prune juice, bananas, plums, fleet ennemas, smooth move senna tea are all used to
make constant use of opioids more comfortable for the patient.
Just been there for about 2-3 years where a family member had very painful cancer.
I'm now an expert. Know as much as most Docs/nurses, maybe more.
Been there done that.
What I am sure of is that most heroin/oxycontin addicts do not think about the constipation issues. They just want to get high.
That goes for all opioids whether prescription or off the street.

Truth be told, if one listens to the conference call, Chris D basically tells you that Hydromorphone has had limited sales. It is just starting to become established.
The quarterly conference call: one product has had about 6 months of sales and the other two less than 3 months of sales. Hydromorphone was introduced late last quarter. Read between the lines. Next quarter & CC will be right on the heels of this one.
Not expecting much of an increase in revenues. A $650,000 start to the year would be very nice as compared to nothing last year.
I hope to see them come through with $700,000-$725,000 next quarter. Baby steps for now. The babay is getting bigger though.
We investors must remain patient.
The hydromorphone will sell well. Demand is pretty good right now being that there is a shortage out there. hydromorphone is on that shortage list.
Abuse resistant hydromorphone would be a plus. There is nothing available right now and nothing in the foreseeable future.
Unless Elite comes to market with it. LOL! LOL!
Cheer all you wonderful Elite longs!
JJM
In creating the API, hydromorphone, it would take too much manpower. Best to get the C of A from the primary manufacturer of the API.
Maybe at a later stage they will make the API, but I would be very surprised if they are doing so now.
Like I said earlier this is a moot point.
What we are looking at here is a drug they can do commericail scale up with over and over again. Not a once a day, but their own product with the abuse resistance technology.
JJM
Elite would more than likely purchase the API from a manufacturer
of the active pharmaceutical ingredient. Johnson Matthey for example is one such API manufacturer.
The active has been compounded for over 100 years. Not rocket science here. Whether it is synthesized or other is a moot point.
What is interesting is that Elite is going to be needing an opioid with which they can couple their patented abuse resistant formulation. Hydromorphone seems to be the perfect candidate.
Nice catch Lasers. You should put that on your stringer.
Good eating size catch.
This board has some very estute individuals. Kudos to you.
James Joseph Meeker, LLC
Hydromorphone is Elite's product? My apologies to the board. GOt confused with Methadone. If Hydromorphone is Elite's drug soley owned by Elite then read between the lines.
They need an opioid to scale up and market. My guess is Hydromorphone they already make.
Cheers all you wonderful Elite longs!
James Joseph Meeker, LLC
Hello everyone, thank you Hikeleader for the transcript. It sure beats listening to the call over and over again.
The reason I am posting this is because I was just a little confused about ELI-216 and Elite's strategy to partner with someone for the big Lewbowski, Oxycontin and other once a days.
So I wrote Dianne an email, and she was kind enough to call me and explain what would have been much more difficult to write in a return email. Suffice it to say LASERS recent post is a BINGO in my opinion. All Dianne would say is that a generic or branded
drug could be used by the company, that it will be their product
whether it be through an abbreviated new drug application or a 505-2-B. This would be with non once a day. The once a days like Oxycontin would require efficacy testing with is too cost prohibitive.
What they are shooting for (Elite) is a drug they can bring to market with abuse resistant technology. They can apply their abuse
resistant tech (double beaded) to any number of drugs.
That's about all I will say. Jerry and Chris basically went through the strategy during the CC.
One thing she did say to me is that the Q/CC coming up is almost on the heels of this one. We went through this last year longs.
I tried to tell her it is no biggie. We don't expect much change in 60 days.
Maybe during the next conference call they can clarify the Eli-216 strategy further for shareholders.
Lasers, your hydromorphone post has me thinking good things.
They already make it for someone so. Things that make ya wonder.
Anyway, I think ELTP has made such strides in the past year or so.
GLTA
James Joseph Meeker LLC
The guys at Pfizer must really be sweating. Jerry et al plan on moving as quickly as possible while bringing maximum value to their PATENTED technology which can be utilized for all opioids.
Some seem to be uncomfortable with the optimism shown after the conference call.
Interesting...... and I just smile.
James Joseph Meeker LLC
Glad CC was as good as I thought it would be.
Phentermine ~6 months sales in and growing. Lodrane D and Methadone < 3 months sales and growing. Hydromorphone started sales in March. This was the product late to the quarter.
Currently hydromorphone establishing itself in sales.
Like their strategy with ELI-216. First work on an opioid of their own then get a partner for Oxy and other extended release opioids. Value of ELI-216 will be greater with an opioid first established by ELTP. Good strategy. Shrewd.
Socius also explained along with stock conversions.
Good Q & A session.
JimmyJoe
Have to say Packfanbud, excellent DD.
For any new investors to Elite Pharmaceuticals I have given them Yahoo 5 star posts and InvestorsHub.
Keep up the good work all you wonderful longs.
James Joseph Meeker
First off nothing happens fast in the pharma business. Things are methodical often taking what seems to be too much time.
Another way to look at Elite is to look at where it was a year ago
at this time, then to look at it now. They have come a long way
my friend. From almost busted to close to break even or profitability.
The patent was a huge win in my opinion. Ask the DEA how big a deal oxy abuse is. As an undercover cop my next door neighbor will tell you that is THE main drug problem in our neck of the woods. Prescription drugs with the main culprit being oxycontin.
My thoughts are that there are some radical changes coming to the drug industry whether they like them or not. Think something cannot be shoved down a manufacturers throat if it has an outcome on public safety? Watch and see my friend. The abuse problem is much more acute then people realize. Oxy is the #1 drug of choice. Even heroin does not compare for the sense of pleasure oxy gives. Find that hard to believe? Just ask any addict and they will tell you they prefer oxy to heroin every single time.
Hype? Could be. Now that Elite has the patent it will be hard for the competition to infringe without something completely different.
It is nice to sit back and relax while others create drama an LOL like this is nothing. Perhaps it is. All I know is that I have mine and am accumulating more for what I believe will come.
There may be a dramatic change coming to the pharmaceutical
industry with regards to opioids and I want to be in on it when it happens. Aside from that Elite will do just fine.
Such a stir from such a tiny penny pharmaceutical company. LOL
JJM
FDA rejection of pixanitrone, yet EU approves.
FDA approves compounded form of Gestiva to "reduce" cost for those
that cannot afford the better FDA approved version Gestiva, which BTW also has been independently found to be far better than the compounded version.
No politics involved in either of those cases, right?
Not saying this would have made ELTP. What it did do was delay ELTP's success a bit. In a sense it forced ELTP to find other ways
to turn a profit. And that they have done without Lodrane.
Fast living? No, just want to live the rest of my days in comfort.
Not over extended. Independent of having to report to an employer.
A break from the mother ship. Not greedy, just real. Keep your dancing girls and fast times. Been there done that. Time to enjoy life.
Jimi
Disagree.
One of the reasons why Jerry was so upset when the FDA took Lodrane off the market. He realized the political side of the FDAs
decision. Get rid of the lower priced competition and you can better sell the other high priced drugs.
Hopefully ECR gets it all back. Elite gets Lodrane 24 and its off to the races again with just the Lodrane.
Elite should be pretty close to break even or profitable this Q, right?
Should be an interesting quarterly coming up. As with everything, Elite management is very tight lipped. Very good move IMO.
Not new to Elite. Not a basher by any stretch. Noticed Yahoo is grayed out this morning, no message board. Everything seemed different. For a moment I almost thought a reverse merger had taken place.
Bought what I could afford to buy. TonyNJ's post on Yahoo yesterday made me think. It is way too quiet.
Wave Systems is still around?
Wow!
Now that the markets are down and the economy
sucks beyond belief Wave should do very well.
Computer security should be at the top of every companys
list of things to buy.
Let me know if it breaks $4 EVER again.
