Looks like the selling has stopped for now.
APPI all buys, seems like the selling has stopped and now its going up. Only 3MM left at .006
APPI UP 20%
APPI suddendly breaking out!!!
To APPI shareholders and interested investors:
Please find below Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) regarding APPI/World Health Energy specifically and biodiesel in general.
Why did APPI change its business focus to renewable alternative energy?
The biodiesel industry is rapidly expanding from government mandates and overall interest in diversifying from standard oil reliance while helping the environment. In addition, the availability of capital from investors is greater with biodiesel.
Is the company close to closing on the $1.2 Million in financing that was announced last month?
Yes. The company is still working towards closing on the $1.2 Million financing for the construction of two biodiesel plants. As with all contracts, final terms need to be negotiated. The acquisition of World Health Energy was a requirement in these negotiations. The company will issue a press release upon closing.
Will the company name change? What about the ticker symbol? What do I do as an investor if there are changes?
Yes, the company will be changing the corporate name to World Health Energy to reflect the company's new focus on environmentally friendly alternative fuels. The ticker symbol will also change to mirror the name change. APPI investors do not need to do anything --the name and ticker will change in your brokerage accounts once both changes are completed.
Where will the first biodiesel plant be constructed?
The biodiesel plant in Kentucky is slated to be constructed first due to the immediate needs of a coal mine which will require 4-5 thousand gallons a day. Revenue for the first full quarter of operation for this plant is projected at $1 million ($4 million annually). The second biodiesel plant will be constructed in Florida.
Why would a coal mine have an interest in biodiesel?
Biodiesel offers safe, practical applications in underground mining applications. The flash point for biodiesel in its pure form is a minimum of 260 degrees versus about 125 degrees Fahrenheit for regular #2 diesel. Although fires are not a frequent occurrence in mines, they can be devastating and diesel equipment is often involved. Biodiesel can help eliminate that concern. Also, the exhaust is reduced, which is important in mining. Also, biodiesel operates in conventional diesel engines. Essentially no engine modifications are required, and biodiesel maintains the payload capacity and range of diesel. The use of biodiesel and biodiesel blends results in a noticeable, less offensive change in exhaust odor. Users also report having no eye irritation. Since biodiesel is oxygenated, diesel engines have more complete combustion with biodiesel than with petroleum.
How long does it take to build a biodiesel plant?
Although a difficult question to answer due to the variables that may come up specific to the site, production capacity, weather etc. , the biodiesel plant in Kentucky should be completed within 60-90 days of breaking ground.
After completion, how long before the company can ramp up production?
The company will feel more comfortable answering this question when the plant is close to completion. But the Kentucky plant already has a customer needing the biodiesel, so APPI/WHE is very motivated to start production as soon as possible.
How soon after the Kentucky plant is constructed and producing biodiesel before the company starts construction in Florida?
The company does not need to wait for the KY plant before starting construction in Fla., however, there is no schedule that has been released at this time.
How significant is this new process of ultrasonic processing?
Very significant for the company. Most biodiesel is produced in batch reactors where the energy required is generated by heating and mechanical mixing. However, ultrasonic processing is a more effective process to attain the required mixing while generating the necessary energy. Significantly, a biodiesel yield in excess of 99% can be achievedthrough the use of ultrasonication in a very short time duration of less than 5 minutes versus the one hour or more time frame necessary when using conventional batch reactor systems. The higher yielding process will provide the company with production cost advantages.
Has there been any interest by media regarding your plans to enter the biodiesel market?
Yes, there has been media inquiries from a Florida newspaper, an investor publication and a biodiesel-focused newsletter. We are not aware of any published coverage as of yet.

Frequently Asked Questions on Biodiesel in general
What is biodiesel?
Biodiesel is the name of a clean burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic, renewable resources. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. It can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with little or no modifications. Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, nontoxic, and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics. Biodiesel is registered as a fuel and fuel additive with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and meets clean diesel standards established by the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Neat (100 percent) biodiesel has been designated as an alternative fuel by the Department of Energy (DOE) and the US Department of Transportation (DOT). Biodiesel is made from renewable fats and oils, such as vegetable oils, through a simple refining process. One of the main commodity sources for biodiesel is soybeans, a major crop produced by almost 400,000 farmers in 29 states.
How fast is the biosdiesel indusry growing in the United States? How much biodiesel has been sold in the US?
The biosdiesel industry has been rapidly expanding as the awareness, acceptance and appreciation of the benfits of biosiesel has grown in the past few years.. According to the National Biodiesel Board, the following sales volume estimates for the US have been released. 2006 volume is expected to show greater growth than exhibited from 2004 to 2006.
2005 -- 75 million gallons
2004 -- 25 million gallons
2003 -- 20 million gallons
2002 -- 15 million gallons
2001 -- 5 million gallons
2000 -- 2 million gallons
1999 -- 500,000 gallons
Is biodiesel used as a pure fuel or is it blended with petroleum diesel?
Biodiesel can be used as a pure fuel or blended with petroleum in any percentage. B20 (a blend of 20 percent by volume biodiesel with 80 percent by volume petroleum diesel) has demonstrated significant environmental benefits with a minimum increase in cost for fleet operations and other consumers.
How do biodiesel emissions compare to petroleum diesel?
Biodiesel is the only alternative fuel to have fully completed the health effects testing requirements of the Clean Air Act. The use of biodiesel in a conventional diesel engine results in substantial reduction of unburned hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter compared to emissions from diesel fuel. In addition, the exhaust emissions of sulfur oxides and sulfates (major components of acid rain) from biodiesel are essentially eliminated compared to diesel.
Of the major exhaust pollutants, both unburned hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides are ozone or smog forming precursors. The use of biodiesel results in a substantial reduction of unburned hydrocarbons. Emissions of nitrogen oxides are either slightly reduced or slightly increased depending on the duty cycle of the engine and testing methods used. Based on engine testing, using the most stringent emissions testing protocols required by EPA for certification of fuels or fuel additives in the US, the overall ozone forming potential of the speciated hydrocarbon emissions from biodiesel was nearly 50 percent less than that measured for diesel fuel.
Does biodiesel cost more than other alternative fuels?
Biodiesel costs rank well with other alternatives. The cost of biodiesel depends on the market price for vegetable oil. In general, biodiesel blended at a 20 percent level with petroleum diesel costs approximately 20 cents per gallon more than diesel alone, although this comarison is highly dependent on the recently volatile market pricinig of diesel. Given the other advantages of biodiesel, though, an emission management system with biodiesel is a least-cost alternative. A study by Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc., found fleets using a 20 percent biodiesel blend would experience lower total annual costs than other alternative fuels. Similarly, results reported by the University of Georgia indicate biodiesel-powered buses are competitive with other alternatively fueled buses with biodiesel prices as high as $3 per gallon. When reviewing the high costs associated with other alternative fuel systems, many fleet managers have determined biodiesel is their least-cost-strategy to comply with state and federal regulations. Use of biodiesel does not require major engine modifications. That means operators keep their fleets, their spare parts inventories, their refueling stations and their skilled mechanics. The only thing that changes is air quality.
Does biodiesel need special storage facilities?
In general, the standard storage and handling procedures used for petroleum diesel can be used for biodiesel. The fuel should be stored in a clean, dry, dark environment. Acceptable storage tank materials include aluminum, steel, fluorinated polyethylene, fluorinated polypropylene and teflon. Copper, brass, lead, tin, and zinc should be avoided.
Can biodiesel be used in existing diesel engines?
Biodiesel can be operated in any diesel engine with little or no modification to the engine or the fuel system. Biodiesel has a solvent effect that may release deposits accumulated on tank walls and pipes from previous diesel fuel storage. The release of deposits may clog filters initially and precautions should be taken. Ensure that only fuel meeting the biodiesel specification is used.

Do not be concerned about asking questions. We are here to field them, so ask away.
Since the FCCN/Aero Exhaust Letter of Intent has a 30-day term, we expect to have an executed Definitive Agreement on or about January 10th. Once the Definitive is reached, an 8-K filing would be required within 4 business days, and a press release will likely be issued concurrently. We would hope that the filing and press release would follow immediately, but that is the disclosure requirement following such an agreement.
