it's getting closer to happen...
i doubt if mitch will even put it on the floor for a vote...
i know the red tape in government slows the wheel way down but,...
they might want to wait until after georgia runoff or after jan 20th jmho
no problems here....
get a license.... (very easy)
farm like a wild man (hard work)
i've been in the green industry for 40 years...
just do it.
sounds like the "sore loser syndrome"......
it would be pleasant.... to run with the bulls
hahahahaha....
cheers
i understand what you're saying....
cheers
p.s. it sure was so exciting with bruce....
love and miss that guy --- that was a fun part of the ride
i must of miscommunicated....
i agreed with you concerning the usa companies consolidating and getting a larger piece of the pie in america.
i don't think aphria will dominate the usa market, just like canopy will not dominate the usa market.
getting a slice of america will add to the other global market share of the global mj industry for apha...
the usa companies don't even have a toe dipped into the global market yet.
and in 20 years i'll most likely be dead with the worms... so my sons will be in charge of making portfolio moves....
here's to all of doing well in this mj market adventure $$$ cheers
STZ may want to dominate the global cannabis industry....
if so, they will buy and own aphria just like they bought and own canopy.
winners... cheers
i like a cold corona and lime +++
i think you are right about US companies consolidating and taking over the industry... ( in the usa ONLY) 330 million population
i think apha much bigger player globally... 7.5 billion population
both apha and cgc will get a slice of the usa pie.
cheers
well a bunch of us have been here for 5-6 years and made a nice pile of jingle with cgc...
too bad you missed the boat being here for 6 years of no green in your pocketbook...
you must be smokin something special not to have made $$$ here for 6 years.
oh well ... and the band plays on
cgc
bingo.... we got a winner
great post, thanks for sharing....
the one topic that you touched on "taxes", i sure hope they put some DEEP thought to... of course it will be taxed and should be...(state sales tax),now the other taxes to be determined on the businesses is where they MUST BE smart about...
i believe they at least should of learned a lesson from is out in california, where the taxes were so insanely ridiculous and unfair that the mj businesses could not thrive let alone exist.
but yes government could certainly foul things up with too much red tape, regulations and over reaching with taxes.
cheers
so you said "we were doomed" for the past 6 YEARS???
well you've been a weee bit off.....
how much longer do we have to wait nostradamus ?
hahahahahaa...
and make sure all the silverware is still there !!!
oh yes i agree...
i did not mean in any semblance of near future....
heck i think of apha and the mj industry as a whole, not as an infant but maybe a very young toddler... hahahaha
i believe there will be plenty of positive shake and bake moves in the future for the successful beasts of the mj industry, which i also think apha will be a top tier leader in the sector for a long time.
on a personal note i am happy as "my dogs on a fresh deer kill"... with joe biden being elected president in america !!!
see what this week brings with some er coming out from other outfits and a new u.s. president being announced... should be interesting +++
personally i got out of acb, i think in 2017? (foggy) but ...
it sure would of been sweet to have gotten in for the last 2 days... hahaha over 100% in gains
DAMN WOWZA
cgc reports on monday...
acb also ???
for the investment monies apha layed out to acquire sweet water, i think it is a great broad step into the usa market.(also new products in canada)
also a positive money making avenue instantly adding to the balance sheet.
also retain control of the company
i think this is a piece of the puzzle in irwins' plan, just like the pharmacies in germany(jmho)
dorothy, you are correct with the "niche" market with craft beer...compared with a giant in the alcohol industry. i think keeping control of and the directional paths apha takes is very important to the existing leadership team. say compared with cgc with constellation running it and calling all the shots.(which that deal is okay with me, i've been in deep with cgc for 4 years -long position for me).
getting into the usa market was and is big time important for future long term success, i think this was a great first step in. i don't think irwin is done making moves involving the usa.
and as far as sweet water... right now it stands as #14 in usa craft beer,i'm wondering if it will eventually be #3, #2, #1 in usa craft beer market... it'll be a fun ride
enjoy your weekend --- cheers
beats the hell out of me... hahahaha
it never ceases to amaze me how this "stock market"game plays
makes absolute zero sense today here at apha
i'm hoping for that --- tortoise and the hare story....
keep those builders in line john1311 and have fun doing it.
well that was not a very exciting day... hahahaha
glad i got to hit the golf ball around a little today...
monday, canopy puts out quarterly er ---
i wonder, wonder who, who-oo-ooh, who wrote the book of love...
hahahaha - cheers have a great weekend
they are all cheap, sp wise... gwph high sp at 112.
google canadian mj companies and check those with research and dd...
google usa mj companies and also research dd...
if you are an investor? if you are a trader?....
check info for past 3-6 month, 6-12 month....
balance sheets --- money in bank???
does anyone have a clue why acb is going nuts ???
41% yesterday and 46% today??? 116 million traded... damn
WTH? hahaha
"georgia on my mind"....
cheers
acb up 41%... damn
tlry up 30%.... wow
what a funny odd game we play
fingers crossed....now that would be the cherry on top !!!
i'm thinking of that song "georgia on my mind" hahaha...
i remember visiting savannah,ga.... beautiful city --- historic district has the landmark, gothic-revival cathedral of saint john the baptist... outstanding parks and a cool carriage ride.
hammertime for the run-off.
oh i figure they wish they had not invested that much... hahaha
but i have a feeling that the bean counters at constellation will eventually turn the cgc books positive-green.
personally i still like cgc and still have holdings with them.
when i first got involved with canadian mj (2015-2016) i spread out in i think 9 different outfits.
canopy was always my #1 and aphria was always my #2, then others followed.
right now apha is my #1 holding and cgc #2 i also hold a weee bit in a third mj outfit.
i have zero usa mj companies in the portfolio yet.
now we add the usa into our network --- apha global beast
i'm thinking you're a weee bit off with this one bob...
ask the folks in colorado.
the us government "will not be involved at all" with selling, distributing, setting up or running stores of any weed products at all ever.
the government will collect sales tax on weed sold be private/public companies.
so the government will collect taxes and spend it... that's how it'll work in the usa.
hahahaha... i was there.
maybe 300 million verses 5 billion hahaha
you were hoping for that big 22% whopper ....
eventually we see dollar days --- hahaha
cheers
???
i'm talking about fed legalization in the usa...
tax monies would be a huge plus for government spending on projects ie(education, roads, infrastructure).
happy people hahahaha
could be a pleasant ride for the end of 2020...
have to deal with mcconnell in 2021.
hopefully the mule will be willing to work across the aisle a little bit.
the people want it... the tax revenues will be a tremendous, tremendous boost for states and positive projects in the usa

BINGO.....
i'm good with this "set up" plan...
we'll see how it all matures and pans out.
wheeling and dealing... cheers
looks like some pavement is being laid on our 4 wheel drive bumpy, muddy road up the mountain... hahaha
apha long... cheers
yea, i certainly like the "acquisition" merge deal at this point in time, rather than a "merger" deal that gives up too much power to another outfit.
irwin and his team runnin this show is just fine with me.
so far so good...
it'll be fun, when they can have commercials with jingles... hahaha
cheers
apha is on nasdaq...
i feel like a dog on a bone at the moment... hahahaha
cheers
u.s. senate still gonna be republican...
mcconnell will slow roll or just shelve mj legalization just for spite and he will get away with it.
even with intense pressure, the mule will sit on his hands
and we wait longer --- apha long
SURF'S UP...
DAY of the BLUE TSUNAMI !!!
MJ Will Soar +++
Gonna Go Pound Pound... hahahaha
Zoom zoomZoom... apha be like "Hear me Roar"
it would make for a nice present, if they announced a partnership with a u.s. outfit around christmas time....
hehehe... cheers
