pretty presumptuous saying that he got out, especially when I don't recall him saying he ever got in, seems to me when he posted here some great time ago it was purely about the science, not the investing angle at all, show me where he ever claimed to have been invested here tia
What has changed, well, for starters punkipoo, from the recent Lebby presentation at the PIC international conference I previously posted all of these things qualify as such >
I think the most important things to focus on are:
p26) purity, consistency, commercial scalable quantities
p27) multi-chromophore perk; increased e/o activity, etc
p28) predictive software
p29) class 100 clean room; all in-house quick turns
p30) attributes summary
p31) 2000+ hours thermal, 4000+ photo-chem stability
p34) impressive lightwave device stats (bench-top proto?)
Rick, I agree with you, the Lebby presentation to me was eye-popping, and yes I too believe it was telling us that there indeed was already one (or more) working proto(s), I posted to this effect after initially going thru the presentation some time ago, and if I remember right it may have come across on two different slides, I asked here on the message board and got nothing but crickets, perhaps the proto(s) is a working benchtop model only?
I felt that Lebby's presentation was by far the most bullish thing I have ever seen out of our tech, and I don't think Lebby is the type to pump something without extensive vetting
and yet punkipoo what many would consider to be one of the most prolific names in the industry recently jumps on-board to deliver the lightwave logic story at the international PIC conference
so ok, who should I trust more as to knowing if this tech is going somewhere or not, should it be Lebby or should it be punkipoo?
for me, I think I will go with Lebby (not to mention Leonberger et al)
we must have stopped trading in anticipation of the next round of testing results, ho hum, this week marks 5 weeks and counting, I know the drill,
patience...
patience ...
patience ...
depending on the news flow related to the all important device testing ongoing, and any news flow on potential JV's, this year may find more investors in attendance than ever before
looks like today everyone has hopped their way into the Easter weekend already, vol off 99% from yesterday so far today
interesting, I would think that L&L could possibly give us a best fill recommendation, no?
btw, do you know if OpSIS chips are to be used in active testing? (spooks posted this a couple days ago)
In March 2014 we began the process of manufacturing an advanced design Silicon Organic Hybrid Transceiver prototype and we released the completed chip design to the OpSIS Center at the University of Delaware who contracted with a third party to produce the initial silicon chips, which were delivered to us in December 2014 and January 2015. We are currently qualifying and testing these chips for utilization in our Silicon Organic Transceiver. The initial application will target inter-data center interconnections of more than 10 kilometers. Our next design will utilize a different frequency and address the current bottleneck in the rack-to-server layer at distances greater than 500 meters.

thoughts anyone?
vol 76k in first 50 mins, somebody know why, is pr coming?
ok, so its been a month since 1st testing results were released, seems to me 2nd round of testing results s/b imminent, but hey, who am I?
cmon Z, wow us & wow us now, TIME is of the essence
and that's why I never put anyone on ignore
my thoughts and prayers go out to my Belgium friends here, just waking up to learn of this horrible terror attacks on your people there
Sources and Uses of Cash
Our future expenditures and capital requirements will depend on numerous factors, including: the progress of our research and development efforts; the rate at which we can, directly or through arrangements with original equipment manufacturers, introduce and sell products incorporating our polymer materials technology; the costs of filing, prosecuting, defending and enforcing any patent claims and other intellectual property rights; market acceptance of our products and competing technological developments; and our ability to establish cooperative development, joint venture and licensing arrangements. We expect that we will incur approximately $3,540,000 of expenditures over the next 12 months. Our cash requirements are expected to increase at a rate consistent with the Company’s path to revenue growth as we expand our activities and operations with the objective of commercializing our electro-optic polymer technology during 2016.
Our business does not presently generate the cash needed to finance our current and anticipated operations. We believe we have raised sufficient capital to finance our operations through January 2017; however, we will need to obtain additional future financing after that time to finance our operations until such time that we can conduct profitable revenue-generating activities. Such future sources of financing may include cash from equity offerings, exercise of stock options, warrants and proceeds from debt instruments; but we cannot assure you that such equity or borrowings will be available or, if available, will be at rates or prices acceptable to us.

Our Proprietary Products in Development
As part of a two-pronged marketing strategy, our Company is developing several devices, which are in various stages of development that utilize our organic nonlinear optical materials.
They include:
·
Ridge waveguide modulator
·
Slot waveguide modulator
·
Spatial light modulator
·
100 Gbps telecommunications modulator
·
200 Gbps datacomm/telecomm photonic transceiver
·
Integrated photonic system
Additionally, we must continue to create and maintain an infrastructure, including operational and financial systems, and related internal controls, and recruit qualified personnel. Failure to do so could adversely affect our ability to support our operations.

when you are feeling up to it, we always appreciate your efforts in "finding" the waldo's in it for us, tia
x, nice job summarizing some of the greater hurdles/obstacles that had to be overcome to advance this technology
six has been the greatest long-term antagonist here constantly slandering the integrity of this company and its management, and when this technology succeeds he will vanish like a cockroach does when the lights get turned on
btw, it took several years of waiting just to get the first patent issued
I agree with Walter too, I believe there will be a tipping point, whether that be an operating proto with specs, or a JV with a Tier 1, I won't try and predict what event/pr triggers it, but when it goes we will all know it, and an initial move of a doubling/tripling in a day or so, of the current pps level of .61, is well within bounds imo
I also believe that as pr's come out with additional testing results, they may begin to have a cumulative positive effect on the pps as the overall proposition of an operating proto with game changing specs evolves over the coming weeks/months
Lightwave Logic is working with numerous Tier 1 photonics device suppliers and photonics integration companies that are currently under mutual NDA agreements
wait, how many Tier 1's again? numerous !
boyah! thanks Dutch, I think you are right about the updates here
also like that the Spatial Light Modulator, and All Optical Switch are both still in the works as well
at the risk of sounding impatient, it has been 3 weeks since the initial positive testing results were released, so my expectations are to receive the second round of testing results any day now
cmon Z let's knock this thing out of the park already
walter, thanks, I found this stat very interesting,
Handel Jones, the CEO of International Business Strategies, reckons that a fab for state-of-the-art microprocessors now costs around $7 billion. He thinks that by the time the industry produces 5nm chips (which at past rates of progress might be in the early 2020s), this could rise to over $16 billion, or nearly a third of Intel’s current annual revenue.
important point to recognize is the need is HUGE and the $$ to solve the parabolic need are virtually unlimited
re: I think the most important things to focus on are:
p26) purity, consistency, commercial scalable quantities
p27) multi-chromophore perk; increased e/o activity, etc
p28) predictive software
p29) class 100 clean room; all in-house quick turns (and don't forget JILA labs access too)
p30) attributes summary (including no need for expensive pkg)
p31) 2000+ hours thermal, 4000+ photo-chem stability
p34) impressive lightwave device stats (bench-top proto?)
In relation to purity & consistency, I believe it was not until 2014 that we were able to achieve this in our batch creation process; that is most likely why Turpin's 100 modulators never moved forward way back when, it is also most likely why many early collaborations were abandoned imo
Also, remember in 2014/2015 we were focused much with the LSS, and this would likely have been the silicon hybrid
So now we are quite well targeted on polymer photonics, and Lebby seems to think we have something pretty special here based on his PIC presentation, and now we have virtually everyhting within our control, so no excuses now, place your bets folks
Hoping next week we get a 2nd round of positive testing results!
Wise, note the dates on those "developments" that gig is part and parcel to, there are 6, and all are from 2012 & 2013, this is prior to gig jettison of the lumera tech (kept a minority interest); the 7th was a collaboration that incls U of Wash but not gig

p27) multi-chromophore perk; increased e/o activity, etc

Dutch, check & double check, both potentially bullish especially if fueled by the next level of positive testing results which should be ready soon
cmon Z, keep let's em coming !
?? Initial Prototypes Have Been Demonstrated ??
found on p38, is this some sort of bench-top proto Lebby has seen?

double booyah!
Thank you Dutch, awesome presentation by Lebby!
now maybe some of the numb-nuts around here will begin to get it
booyah baby!
we need some more positive testing results to be released, I would hope that the pace of such pr's accelerates now as we enter these final testing phases before debuting a true game changing proto complete with full spec sheet
how soon will the next phase of testing results be available, imo should be only a matter of weeks right? so since it has been two weeks since the first batch of testing results were released, my expectations are that any day now we should get the second batch of testing results, thoughts?
lwlg stock traded just under half million shares on the first test results, hoping to top that volume on the next test result pr
hello... hello ... is there anybody in there?
just nod if you can hear me
It "Matters" because it helps define the window I and others here may be blessed with continued "buying opportunities" , lol, that's why
and this of course will all be trumped once we present a true next-gen working device along with its game changing specs, then game-on for pps take-off
Gates, x, I agree, no need for anyone to obsess over LPC financing agreement in place, it was punkipoo who started the discussion with his fear mongering over LPC being a "death spiral" financing vehicle, even providing a listing of companies financed and a limited view (12/12/12) of each's performance post financing; I shot holes in the theory though by pointing to one of companies at the top of his list that today is actually about 350% or so higher than when LPC first financed them; my questions regarding exacting stats on our LPC financing as follows is simply an attempt to reveal how much near-term pps manipulation power LPC may be exerting on lightwave currently
1) shares issued to-date to LPC (including fees)
2) shares sold by LPC into the open market
3) shares held as of today by LPC
Again, I think the best snapshot of these stats comes with the 10K which comes out in about a month, if anyone here has the data, exacting or estimated in some fashion, please share with us all here complete with links and/or basis assumptions, tia
buzzard says , Proto asking about "how many shares did LPC get" (I paraphrase) is a prime example.
pretty crappy job paraphrasing buzzard, but actually I asked for exacting stats if anyone knew them as follows,
great question Rick, I might add, does anyone know answers to the following questions regarding LPC
1) shares issued to-date to LPC (including fees)
2) shares sold by LPC into the open market
3) shares held as of today by LPC
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=120900373
BTW, I don't think anyone can have exacting numbers on this except LPC, and maybe lightwave management, a closer picture should be presented in the 10K which comes out in about a month I believe
everybody please take notice of punkipoo's M.O., when he shows up it is hammer time for the pps of lightwave, his handlers "turn out the dogs" (punki) to create maximum scare tactics to create fear and selling pressure here to facilitate their gaming of this small cap stock, don't be fooled by this fool, he knows nothing of the true potential currently under development, if the tremendous potential was not so then let me assure you Lebby would not have been presenting our tech at PIC this week
punkipoo knows there will be many fresh eyeballs on this stock with interest in investing on Lebby's word, so punki's job is to blackball us and get new investors to turn away based on his bullcrap rants because ole GP and his peeps know that when this one runs, katy bar the door
booyah!
good one Scope! I had to laugh
punkipoo is back to dominating the boards here like dennis rodman, BTW, his M.O. has always been to show up here for attacks on the pps
my guess is that coming off a very positive PIC conference, and knowing there would be many fresh eyeballs here, punkipoo has been instructed by his handlers to "step it up" on the attack front here
sorry GP, lightwave will succeed despite your underhanded low brow attacks here
RE: wow, interesting listing GP, so I looked at one of the companies on the list, Bio Path Holdings (BPTH) which you listed as financed by LPC on 6/4/10 when pps was 0.43 and your chart date of 12/12/12 has it at 0.31 down 28%
but now the good news is today BPTH pps is at 1.91 or up 344% from the time LPC financed them per your chart !
http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/stockdetails/fi-126.1.BPTH.NAS?symbol=BPTH&form=PRFISB
booyah, not so toxic after all!
full disclosure, I only looked at 2 companies on the list AXIH which is currently toast, and BPTH, so others here may wish to check all the other companies on the list, I satisfied my "toxic" concerns GP raised with his list
inversor, "We are extremely pleased to receive this new commitment from our longstanding investor, LPC, to provide a continuing source of growth capital which we can access at our discretion," stated Tom Zelibor, CEO of Lightwave. "This, in conjunction with the capital we raised through our recent private placement, in which LPC was the largest single investor, puts the Company in a stronger position financially. We appreciate the support of both our private investors and LPC and believe our balance sheet is strong with $3.7 million of cash as of January 27, 2016."
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/lightwave-logic-inc-secures-20mm-162700047.html
wow, interesting listing GP, seems lightwave is down exactly the average of all companies on that list based on the 1.11 price shown on the list as of 5/7/2011 and today's 0.60 for a net change of 46%
question, is this a complete list of all their financings, and do you have a link to share with us please, tia
then the next question that needs to be asked is how were these companies doing fundamentally, I would presume if the company succeeds the pps will rise despite what you propose to be "toxic" financing, no?
in lightwave's case, there is cash now to operate through all of 2016, and my guess is that by then working protos get JV monies to finance forward, and the need for LPC lessens or goes away entirely
lastly, GP may be on to something, seems to me potential is greater / nearer than ever before, and our market cap languishes, could it be LPC is working against us, if so that s*cks, but I still think we will overcome any manipulation they are causing in the end
btw, GP why CDEL, is this who they trade through?
don't worry dickie, I think they are just trying to work up pitcooks blood pressure a little
booyah!
I agree with you Wise, let's license, partner, etc., but please don't sell us out
great question Rick, I might add, does anyone know answers to the following questions regarding LPC
1) shares issued to-date to LPC (including fees)
2) shares sold by LPC into the open market
3) shares held as of today by LPC
tia
jssdmm, great post, I agree with everything you said here
