IPII - Blue Sky - Low Float
You may want to look at IPII. Steady top and bottom line grower in SE US construction. Extreme low float. Uncharted territory entered.
PDGE - Buuurrrrpppp!
I have filled up on so much PDGE I can't swallow one more share. It may go lower and it may take longer but it will get spotted at some point. Top and bottom line growth virtually guarenteed with backlog and focused management. I think the mold business will be steadier than people think, in 1984 Florida building codes were relaxed allowing the use of paper-backed drywall and insulation. The mass builders went in and slapped up 100,000's of homes that are big time giant pitri dishes! Asbestos isn't going away anytime soon either. Too bad we don't have the cash to do the $Billions of upgrades and asbestos removal needed on military bases alone.
Good Luck

Thanks for WIRX on 8-30-04 HWEB!!!!
I went back to Raging Bull and Harry posted the 2nd message on the WIRX board 8-30-04, and the stock was around $1.20/share when he lit the delayed fuse. It took a while and then BOOM, another explosion!
Thanks Bob and Harry for starting this board on RB and bringing us over here to Ihub.
If there is one thing I have learned from you guys it is how to be patient after uncovering undiscovered value, eventually it gets discovered!

Bought some WIRX.OB today. Q2 earnings of .07/share vs. a loss last year. Q2 revenues up 39%. Solid balance sheet with tangible book value of .70, including .36/share in cash. Stock up 20% today, but still looks very cheap around $1.20. 10Q said second half of the year is typically stronger leading into December holiday season.
CEO gave an interview last week, in which he said the stock price should grow to the point where they qualify for an Amex listing in 2005. I believe you need a $3 stock price. Mentioned Q2 earnings of .07/share and said results should continue in a positive direction. Talked about signing new customers, including Amazon! Overhead relatively fixed, so increased sales should really benefit bottom line. Just starting an investor relations program that will begin in earnest in the coming weeks.

What if China needs a billion dollars worth of cable?
What if the Chinese are going to buy so much cable it is taking a long time to figure out just how the heck to supply the product? The speculation here can get really crazy based on peoples expectations of instant wealth. It takes a long time for "novel" products to make it to market. This company is still a crap shot, everything or nothing. Place your bets and see what happens over the next few YEARS.

CPTC - ZERO SUM GAME
People seem to have a hard time realizing that this company is either worth a ton of $, or ZIP, ZERO, NADA. They have a solution to a big and ever growing problem. Will they be able to SELL the solution BEFORE they go broke?? I think so. I am with Len, this one went in the lock box to be looked at in a few years, when it will either be worth a boat load more than it is today, or be trading with Len's old favorite WRLT.PK.
CPTC and BIPH are the only 2 stocks I own that are ZERO SUM GAMES. They'll either sell the solutions or they'll be broke!

Why I read 10Q/K's VRTC Chapter 11!
I was interested in a turnaround company called Veritec in the $.50's - 3D barcodes, homeland security play. I dug into the 10Q and found lawsuit paragraph. I sold my shares around $.70 - .80, it shot up to $2.95! You know what I was thinking....brrrsheebdow@#%$(*$#&*%^!! Then I look at the stock the other day and it is $.30....headline reads: "Veritec Files for Protections Under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Act".
This was my post on Raging Bull when I decided to sell:

10q is out lawsuit spooked me away:
On January 10, 2002, we initiated arbitration against Mitsubishi Corporation in Los Angeles, California, alleging breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation and interference with business opportunities; seeking several
million dollars in compensatory damages, punitive damages, legal fees and accrued interest. Mitsubishi counterclaimed on similar grounds, also seeking similar damages and amounts. The arbitration was split into two phases. The first phase, completed in July 2003, resulted in an interim award dismissing
most of our claims. No decision on the second phase, completed in September 2004, has been issued by the arbitration panel. A final resolution is expected prior to the end of 2004. Veritec is seeking $1.5 million in attorneys' fees and costs if it prevails on the second phase. Mitsubishi has made a claim for
compensatory damages of $11.25 million, punitive damages of $2 million and legal fees and costs of $3.9 million in the second phase. No opinion can be given at this time as to the final outcome of the arbitration.
Read those 10Q/K's guys and post anything that could wreck a company! This was just one paragraph in a 37 page document and it destroyed them!

Nat Gas Summer Outlook
This is one opinion
From today's GasDaily…
"Analyst offers bullish view of summer prices
U.S. gas prices will shoot as high as $8/MMBtu this summer thanks to high and volatile crude oil prices and a lack of hydro supplies in the West, according to a new report from Colorado-based Enercast. "While weather is expected to provide basic support to the market, it is not seen as the main driver of higher prices given the high levels of storage," according to the analyst's Spring/Summer 2005 Outlook. With tight oil supplies expected to keep crude trading between $50/barrel and $62/barrel between now and September, both gas and heating oil prices will rise in sympathy, it said. "Increased geopolitical uncertainty, weather-driven demand and strong industrial sector growth are all key factors" in driving energy prices higher, Enercast predicted. "Natural gas demand is expected to remain strong. During the summer period, electric utilities are expected to burn more Btus like natural gas to serve peak load, adding further demand-side pressure as compared to last year."
The report also cited a strengthening El Nino weather pattern that will have a "bullish impact" on gas prices this summer.
Agbeli Ameko, Enercast's managing partner, said the resulting increase in cooling demand in parts of the Northeast, South and Southwest will create higher electricity loads than last summer, which will translate into more gas demand as new gas-fired power plants come on line.
The shortage of hydro supplies in the Northwest this summer due to lower-than- normal snow melt also will squeeze gas supplies as the region turns to new gas- fired electricity plants to fill the demand gap, Ameko said.
Meanwhile, with the withdrawal season winding down, Ameko projected that gas storage inventories will start the refill season at 1.23 Tcf, 12% higher than the five-year average and that net injections will start a week later than usual in mid- April. He based those assumptions on "a combination of both abundant storage and a pretty strong end to the winter in terms of heating degree-days and the increased weather demand, especially in the east consuming region."
Even though May and June are expected to experience slightly above-average storage injections, an expected warmer- than-normal July and August will boost consumption and draw stocks down to within 109 Bcf, or 4%, of the five-year average by the end of summer, Enercast predicted."

I have been a bit of a cheerleader on this stock since Hweb2 found it and I did quite a bit of research on it, so I wanted people to know that I sold 80% of my shares yesterday afternoon and earlier today. SWTX C.C. Indium Replacement?
I listened to the SWTX CC and they are talking about a replacement for Indium in their thin film products. Southwall is one of the largest Indium purchasers in the world and the Indium price has gone up 1000% in 2 years. They said within 1 to 3 years they may be producing products with a replacement for Indium. This could be huge, millions per year, but is at least 1 year off. I am learning that management of Southwall is conservative and not a big pumper. I was turning blue holding my breath for earnings results today. Glad I held. I think earnings per share will be in mid to low $.30's. P/E of 10 stock price is $3.00 to $3.50. I encourage all to listen to CC.
**Also said strong EURO is big plus.

I still have all of the Southwall I purchased since the mid $.50's and am holding my breath for a good report and CC. I may be wrong on this one as I had several chances to book some higher profits and did not. Looks like you bailed in the mid $1.40's. We shall see!

I don't know what to say. Just seems crazy to me. However, there are a bunch of retiring baby boomers out there with many millions of wealth. Many of the boomers parents are dieing and leaving their children huge bucks. I wonder what the recipients of the million dollar homes are doing with the cash, plowing it into a more expensive home down the street? Is that called a "ponzi" scheme?

Bobwins,& Oil Investors ERHC?
US Oil Company ERHC Eyes Nigeria, Sao Tome Jackpot
by Norval Scott
Fri, Jan 21, 2005 16:42 GMT
LONDON - A little-known company with no history of producing crude could be on the brink of becoming a significant player in the West African oil game.
Houston-based Environmental Remediation Holding Corp. (ERHC) holds preferential rights in a maritime enclave jointly operated by Nigeria and Sao Tome & Principe, known as the Joint Development Zone. Now the tiny company is set to gain equity in five blocks when the JDZ's second licensing round is finalized, possibly later this month or in February.
