Enormous upside but Larry must deliver on his promises" except, for me, my desire "to do somthing" so that I feel in control has lost me money in the past. Larry does need to deliver or tell us why not. If he doesn't speak soon I think investors will think he's hiding something and leave. That's all I was trying to say yesterday.

I don't believe the Ecuador project has been terminated, but I don't have the info you do. During the last interview on MN1 (near the very end I believe)Larry mentioned the project. Just wasn't on the front burner is all. If I might ask where did you find the info that Ecuador was terminated in 2005?

Arturo_Bechstone, I don't think EQBM has terminated anything. From the last PR "TORONTO, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Equitable Mining Corp. (Trading as EQBM.PK & E5W.F) is continuing to move forward on all of its previously announced projects." I'm just waiting for this "Equitable intends to issue additional updates periodically as transactions progress toward closings." The upside potential is just to great for me to sell anything. I will only sell sooner then I want to if (big IF)something materially changes in regard to stock (more shares start being issued) or the China deal goes south. As to the later, I believe it's still a matter of patience which is not my strong suit. I'm not selling early and missing out on a 100 grand like I did with MSEV (now MNEV).

Larry, if you don't get a deal done no later than the 22nd your stock PPS will be worth much much less. If not sooner. And that's the name of that tune.

There's one of those possible signal thingees. 100 shares (and 500k shares) @.0105 and they jump the ask to .012. Really though, doesn't matter much to me. Either there is contract or there isn't as to what makes a difference to me. Off to work.

Since all of yesterday's trading except 6k was part of a block trade I believe someone or something big is doing something with a VERY large block of shares for days now. I don't think is necessarily the MMs except they are doing the trade for "them". I know that is all vague and everything, but it's the impression I get from the double posting and the info from the broker about block trading. FWIW (not a lot).

Just bought another 100k@.011. I had the buy in @.0105 (not AON)for a couple of hours and nothing happened. Raised it to .011 (not AON) and it filled right away. Followed (so my broker told me) by a mirror 50k@.0105. He told me all but 6k shares have been part of a block trade today. FWIW

Just got done listening to the MN1 interview of 7/19 and he did say Aug 2nd or 3rd. And it sounds like most of his connections are in Europe, which I'm guessing now, are where most of the lawyers are. So since if it didn't happen by 8/3 then there is just about zero chance any deal would happen until Sept. It is my understanding that Europe comes to a dead stop in Aug. Now if nothing happens by the end of Sept. I would start to become severely worried. Probably a little sooner than that actually. Nothing happening in Aug. I can believe though.

The last official PR on 8/17 said everything was still on track so Larry would have lawsuits all over the place if he knew of a blown deal prior to that. Maybe jail time? So his excuse is reasonable to me and allowed me to buy in cheap. If Larry is a liar and we've all been had I'll start working on the torches and we can have someone else can work on the tar & feathers.

I can relate. I might call in sick or take a day of leave. Emotionally I would be just a tad bit out of kilter so I'd probably opt for sick. ;~)

Bigdogs, do you have a feeling small stocks are about to take off in general? Of course my judgment may well be influenced by my liking of small stocks, but here's my ob. The big money managers have been pushing large stocks relentlessly for quite a while and they are finally showing it. But dropping interest rates are suppose to favor small stocks and the 10 year has dropped to 4.75 a full .50 below the fed funds rate and most think the Fed is done (not so sure about that myself)and their next move will be down. It "feels" like people are starting to be willing to take on more risk again and be willing to put more money into the riskier small cap stuff.

People like to compare Larry to a hurricane and for a strong hurricane you need the right conditions for it to intensify (use to be a Weather Observer in the Navy many moons ago)of a stable high pressure near by. I think with not much of a hurricane season so far, dropping oil prices, dropping interest rates, and gold & silver about to start another bull run for seasonal as well as dollar & supply & demand reasons, and just as contrarians to the play on large cap, the conditions in the background are all favorable. All that's missing is the tropical wave to start the circulation in motion. That would be Larry of course. And JR has listed many times the positive things that could make that happen.

I apologize to all for the "Easy" thing. It's just the market doesn't seem to favor small investors much and statistics show that most end up in the red. It's not very easy to make a lot of money in the long run. Guess I'm just "lucky" to get into this stock when I did. It's taken a string of bad luck for me to get here though.

Ok,OK. Let me change it to I'm not usually that lucky. I started following this & XPLI when they were just over .02. Sold out of XPLI at about .012 & transfer my money over here almost straight accross. I haven't figured it out but I'm down about 10 to 15K. This year. Needless to say I'm a little gunshy. The refi makes it so I can stay put for some time. I do think Larry's reason is plauable about the delay, just a bit nervous is all.

OT sort of:Bought mine a year ago April for 250k did some remodeling. 3/4 bathroom in the basement, replaced most of the galenized steel with copper, added double pane windows which brought it to 270 or 280 depending on who you believed. Just reified my second which added another 28k to my loan, but my car & windows are now paid for. In the processes the house was reappraised at $318 with my loan being about 288k. Since I'm in Seattle (actually just outside of it) that is considered "affordable" around here? If nothing else I want to pay off my second for 78k & what's left of my Thrift savings loan which is 20k. Let's see 78 + 20 = 98k.

Yes, very much so. If we get a positive announcement on Dalian then there will be next to NO SHARES available at these prices as most are relatively tightly held by the people on this board. Unless, of course, the float is a lot larger then we're led to believe. When Couch can paint the tape with 10k shares I believe the former to be true. I'm lovin it.

If that is the true amount of shares by people on this board then either A. the float is bigger than we think, B. the only people investing in this stock almost all post on this board, C. there is a large number of "unreal" shares as in naked shorts, D. we don't have an accurate count of shares for this board, or E. some combination of all of the above.
