theroc, at first you had me looking for a pr 8k, then I saw the volume was under 8k, lol, that must have been me driving the 5% rally as I was buying over 25% of that volume, haha, didn't know I was such a power player
there must be parameters for PP pricing being given to subscribers as investors are not going to essentially sign a blank check
I would guess there must be some sort of formulation based on a percentage of the weighted average closing prices over a selected timeframe, and perhaps there is even an expected range of price with low and high caps given
maybe one of the subscribers could let us know the parameters given
technical pullbacks are not uncommon, as I posted #4010 on 9/3/14 (see reply post) this would likely test the 200 day sma and this has been done now, so I bought some shares yesterday in low 40's, it is not unthinkable that the pendulum over swings to the downside the same as it did to the upside, the super support line on the 3 year is at 26 cents, the way I see it the best/worst case numbers without a "breakout" are 75/25 and todays price is 45, so 20 down/30 up, but of course I think we all believe there is more upside beyond the 75 cent marker, and very few believe there is any downside from the super support at 26 cents, if we continue the selloff into the 30's I will be buying more that is for sure
maybe someone participating in the PP could tell us all here if they already know the pricing, Walter, I know you participate in these offerings, do you (or anyone elese here) know the pricing?
interesting chart inversor, if you look at the 10 year you see it is back to approx where it was at the time of the 2008 elections, fwiw

Gary did you ever get a reply to this you wrote:
Quantum's (Now called Niocorp) 2011 drill Report.....Does anyone remember what happened here? Can the drilling 2011 results be included with the current drilling tests?
http://www.slideshare.net/RareEarthsRareMetals/quantum-rare-earth
Gary, I am curious about this too as it seems the drill results from 4 years ago are much the same old same old as recent prs report here, do you agree?
yeah so crazy 25 buck thin air price projections are fine in keeping with your agenda, but the truth about support lines on a 3 year chart need to be banned
what country are you from?
15¢ - 20¢ recent offerings and now looks like an offering for double that would be sheer magick to pull that off imo
you nailed it Makemoney, the first strong support is in the range of .39 to .43, if that failed the super-support is at about .26
if they get the pp filled at .45 it would be a great job pumping this up so quickly with such limited amount of actual new info
hopefully the monies will fund the things that really will prove this out so all here can profit bigtime
again, congrats to all the sub-20 cent buyers, hold on to those huge profits!
I agree Walter, mega-booyah coming soon!
investors here starved for news, hard to believe almost 2 months after an ASM where so much enthusiasm was displayed on an array of topics, and yet Z has nothing to share with investors?
the patience required here is mind numbing
so greenlee couldn't cut it at Nanometrics either, hope Jabil works for him
I'm banking on a pr this week to fire up the discussion here which has dried up quite a bit since the ASM, I believe the development of the materials/devices is at a point where something investor noteworthy should easily occur within a six week time window
c'mon Z, where's the beef?
seawolf, agreed, and the temptation for holders of multi-bagger gains is always quite great to cash some in, and with the great number of shares recently issued sub 20 cents this is certainly relevant in understanding why the pps is experiencing what is likely a technical pullback currently
this one could go much much higher, but it is certainly not a sure thing or a done deal at this point as many here wish to paint the canvas as such
it's possible, or a lot less, it all depends on how things progress, in the meantime celebrate the huge profits you are all sitting on!
congrats to all the sub 20 cent buyers!
Gates, I do remember that and I do agree as well, I just think there has to be something newsworthy in 6 weeks time based on all that was discussed with such unbridled enthusiasm at the ASM
we'll see
if the pp goes off at .45 that would still be 3x higher than the raise done just a few months ago, not too shabby I'd say, the first technical support is near this level as well, so it makes sense
congrats to all the sub 20 cent longs here, and with the amount of shares issued on the last raise I know there are many here, hopefully all will stay strong and not cave in to booking those multi bagger profits in the short term
due for a pr, it's been 6 weeks since the ASM and with all that was discussed then, I would guess they get one out within a week's time
we'll see
c'mon Z, investors need to know!
seawolf, from the pr numbers, is F55 one of at least 55 similar tests?
it kind of looks that way based on the Hydrometallurgical tests (PL13, PL15, PL16, AB13, AB15)
just curious, I would hope they would not just cherry pick one result as opposed to giving an average result if that were the case
Highlights of the results from the bench scale tests at SGS in Lakefield, Ontario include:
Flotation test F55, which demonstrated a niobium recovery of 61% to the flotation concentrate;
Hydrometallurgical tests (PL13, PL15, PL16, AB13, AB15) of pre-leaching and acid baking on the flotation concentrate, demonstrating a combined extraction of 98% of the niobium contained in the flotation concentrate;
Additional hydrometallurigcal tests (Test NbP25) demonstrating the recovery of 98% of the niobium contained in the pre-leach / acid bake products into a precipitate containing 21% Nb by weight
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Question, is F55 one of at least 55 similar tests?
congrats to all the longs who got this sub 20 cents!
thanks george, that was a good short video
thnaks snez, is the 30 days out the OpSIS run?
did they receive the IMEC run?
Does anyone know if there are design differences between the two?
IMEC chips vs OpSIS chips, 2 questions
1) Are these chips the same or different designs, and if different, for what specific development needs?
2) Did someone here post that the IMEC chips have been received, or are we still waiting on these too?
late summer early fall, about time for a pr I'd say
thanks Scope
reds, poetf website has a pdf about their tech being developed and they do talk about polymers as part of their "longer term solution" but for now it appears they are focused on inorganic gallium arsenide (from my earlier post 13384)
here is a link to the seeking alpha article you referenced(?), looks like they hold to the same view
http://seekingalpha.com/article/2522485-poet-technologies-revisited
interestingly the poetf stock rocketed up recently to about 2.50, now it sits at about 1.20ish after a quick fall to the .80's, but their market cap is still 400% of lwlg
I'm ready for Z to put out a pr that ignites our pps
hopefully this week!
X, so does this mean the long awaited chips from OPSIS are a no go, or does it mean we are part of their final run and would need to find another foundry for future runs?
is IMEC able to fill that gap for us?
largest Niobium deposit on the Earth. It is called Seis Lagos and, believe it or not, is still waiting for the Brazilian Government’s decision to let miners extract and redistribute its enourmous wealth.
INTRODUCTION
In 1975, during a geological mapping program, CPRM's geologists discovered the remarkable structures of Seis Lagos Alkaline Complex intruded in gneissic terrain. It comprises three different intrusive bodies.
Seis Lagos Property at the Amazonas State is the world’s largest niobium reserve of 2,897Mt @ 2.81% Nb2O5 or 81Mt of Nb2O5 and, possibly, a very large titanium and rare earths deposit.
WORLD RESERVES
Total world reserves of Nb2O5 are estimated at 5.4Mt (excluding the Seis Lagos deposit) being 88% in Brazilian soil.
Known ore reserves, at the most important producing mines, are 464Mt @ 2.5% Nb2O5 at Araxá (Brazil) and 16Mt @ 0.68% Nb2O5 at St-Honoré (Canada). Other niobium resources are reported from Tapira (179Mt @ 0.67% Nb2O5), Catalão (1.4Mt @ 2.19% Nb2O5) and Salitre (Brazil), Lueshe Lake, Panda Hill, Chilwa Island and Kalubwe (Africa), James Bay, Nemegosenda, Lackner Lake, Oka (6.3Mt @ 0.32% Nb2O5) and Manitou Island in Canada.
TH, keep us posted when buying 1.04 on up to 10 or so, after that every man for himself
Advocate, I agree, and based on the bubble pps now would be the best time to go for it
Steve, pretty good idea but I actually agree with the buzzard, not very likely to happen that way, that said, I do think it is time for Z to step up the communications to the next level, I know Z has said he does not put out pr's just for the sake of putting out pr's, I get that, but based on all that he and other top management have told us is going on now, and there is quite a lot of things that are going on I think we can all agree, there should be no reason investors cannot be given progress update letters quarterly, and that in essence would spell out what you are requesting and perhaps more as it could add color to a black and white number
Gates, Rick, et al, exciting times indeed, anyone with half a brain can see things are finally heating up in our arena of play, in addition all the ducks seem to be lining up on internal developments; both people and material/device wise, and Z's recent super enthusiasm disposition is NOT his norm, imo something big will happen within the next 6-12 months, really pretty darn close to the 18-24 month design in window set back iabout what, April 2012?
15k shares pushed above the ask of .98 to trade at .99, that was 50% of the days volume, guess somebody wanted to get in whilst still below a buck eh?
Rick, Corning is involved in two major joint ventures: Dow Corning and Samsung Corning Precision Glass.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corning_Inc.
Dow Corning website
http://www.dowcorning.com/
Scope, I threw it out there some time ago that I didn't believe the Corning materials license deal just came out of sky blue with no prior working relationship, and this article referencing Corning and IBM may be a big clue as to how that all happened, and why now IBM seems to be key too, nice find
x or anyone else know more about this, and whether it really is related to us or not?
white, glad to see you have branched out to bashing others here beside myself, still wondering who you are the second rendering of on this board?
still contend if you are unhappy here, best for you to SELL SELL SELL, you can always head for the creek, just be sure to bring a few extra paddles with you just in case
thanks x, that makes more sense, so LPC has 1/2 of 1.3 mil shares or about 650k shares avail to sell as of this S-1, historically they sell off shares issued to them correct?
speaking of LPC, do you know if they were tapped recently as the pps was above 1.00 for about a full month, so in theory more funds could have been raised, but were they, or do they think better raise opportunities will exist within the window avail cash being now through end of 2015?
th, not sure what impact, if any, today, also, can you or someone explain the details as shown on p70 and p71, it looks like LPC and individuals (like walter) are selling shares in this offering ?
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1325964/000155335014001061/lwlg_s1.htm
six, nice job, let's hope IBM pans out along with many other potential JV's in the hopper now, and would feel even better if internal developments could yield devices for us to sell in the market as well
six, nice find, also didn't Jim M talk of attending executive meetings at the OFC 2014 in San Francisco mentioned in that article?
I definitely recall Tom talking to the slide showing the 25gb "building blocks" which I believe were to be CMOS on-chip sff, and that matches what is discussed in the IBM article
http://www.lightwaveonline.com/articles/2014/03/ibm-discusses-silicon-photonics-commercialization-strategy.html
th, I just bought some a couple days back at .96 and thought I was doing good, who knows, but I expect news flow to be better going forward, we'll see
still, keeping the faith
Steve, here is the profile for them
