The Pain is Subsiding!!
Must have been those tax selling Guys(those anonymous sneaky ones) that caused me so much pain on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday was a small plus and today is better still at +2%. I think by Friday I could be smiling again.
Gotta be in a positive mood to get enthusiastic about a good zipcodechanger stock!!! Actually I haven't run across a real great undervalued microcap for a while. They have all run up quite a bit. Bobwins

check nwau board here at Ihub. I posted a PR from July 04 that announced his coming. I posted that he was involved with mvco and Factory Cards. If you do a google search, you will probably find the notice I found about him being involved in providing financing for I think mvco. Took me a while to find it. He was listed as a principal with Beacon Capital Partners. Sorry, that's all I have. Takes times to dig up everything. Good luck. Bobwins

Jim_WI re mbah.ob I am still holding. I am kicking myself for not selling more in the .20's. I knew it was going to take longer than originally planned when they pulled the directory off the website. I should have taken the hint and exited. Still have a triple but wavering. Need some actual positive production numbers where they have shown momentum in signing up dealers. You can't sell group insurance to 4 dealers and make any money. Need 400 or 4000. Still a great concept but motorcycle dealers are small businessmen. They need to see how nmda is going to save them lots of money before they are going to fork over even $600 for one year membership. Hopefully company will have some positive results. You can see that PR doesn't lift the stock anymore. Bobwins
swampboots, if you want, you can use your pinky to put the $2K in an envelope and mail it to me!!! I will use my pinky to take it out!! LOL! Congrats. Won't always happen this easy but this is a very practical application for a hi tech gizmo. This company has found just the right geographic/demographic location to exploit the opportunity and turn a boring used car business into a growth, profit machine.
Let's hope they can actually make .30eps. We will make a lot more than $2K. Bobwins
swampboots
Not sure why Nwau is taking off so soon. I think the idea of the gps device catches people's attention and they can see how it can be put to use in a practical way. I think it's one of the few ways that a small used car lot can stay in business now. Very tough business with new car lots offering so many deals on cars and financing.
I am happy except my greed wants more shares at .28, the price when I found it, not .74!!! Bobwins
Two thoughts. I am a pretty good judge of character. During my banking career, I interviewed a lot of company managers. Miller seemed to be conversant with financing. He didn't sound like a used car salesman. That fits with the story that he is a venture capitalist who just came on board in mid 2004. Also I searched for public records that would tie Miller to the two public companies that he claimed to have helped.
I found this PR when he came onboard. I also found another one where his name was mentioned as providing financing for Mvco as a principal in an investment group. I am waiting like all of you for the financials but my initial DD says this is legit. Bobwins

Automotive Capital Group Agrees to Acquire Colfax Financial With Two Auto Lots Expecting to Generate $8,000,000 Annual Sales and 25% Growth
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Automotive Capital Group today announced plans to acquire 10-year old Colfax Financial located Phoenix, Arizona. Colfax Financial has two automotive sales lots located in Phoenix and Tucson. The company currently sells and finances upwards of 100 cars each month at an average price of $8,000 per car. Colfax Financial also offers financing for other automotive dealers. Since conventional banks have ignored the sub-prime auto market, Colfax has focused on this market and made a very successful business out of it.
Automotive Capital Group has the ability with Colfax to sell $800,000 to $2,000,000 in automobile sales each month. These figures are based on the sales of their current lots without expansion. Automotive Capital Group will finance every car with rates of 29.9% to 35% depending on the buyer's credit and job.
Automotive Capital Group, Inc. will also be launching an E-commerce website to sell vehicles online across the country. The new websites will be available in both English and Spanish and allow buyers to buy an automobile, get financing, and purchase instant insurance coverage via the web. The launch of the new website is expected in mid-August. This website is believed to be one of the first 'Buy-here-pay-here' or as the company calls it, 'Click-Here-Pay-Here' e-auto lots.
Navicom, Opens GPS eBay Store

Navicom GPS will offer finance companies asset collateral monitoring devices for the $25 billion dollar sub-prime automobile market. These solutions include automobile tracking, auto disable/enable capability through Internet, and point and click auto repossession. The company's website is http://www.nowgps.com/ and http://www.gpsstation.com/.
The company announced last Friday the appointment of new CEO/President, Scott Miller. Over the past 10 years Scott Miller, CEO has managed over $1 billion of financings and transactions, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, leveraged buyouts, acquisitions divestitures and corporate turnarounds. Prior to joining the Company Mr. Miller was Managing Director of Beacon Capital Partners, LLC where he managed over $200 million of distressed corporate transactions wherein he gained considerable experience in corporate management. Mr. Miller has served on the board of directors of numerous public companies listed on NASDAQ, the American Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange.
With this acquisition, the company plans to file for the American Exchange (AMEX). The company has completed the financial audit of Automotive Capital Group, Inc. and the company is in the process of preparing and filing the form-10.

jw135792002 At Value Microcaps we are looking for profitable(net profits) low p/e value plays. I haven't investigated but I am guessing your mining company has no revs. We have been trying to keep our focus on profitable, undervalued companies. Please post no rev speculative stocks at our new VM ZipCodeChanger board. Thanks Bobwins
New board!!!
Here is the url:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=3294
Title of the board is "VM ZipCodeChangers" Putting VM at the front end of the title means that when you list your favorites, this one will be right next to Value Microcaps on your list.
Let's see if we can keep the boards separate and unique to everyone's benefit!!!
No more guilt about lousy fundamentals. If you have done your DD and the stock looks juicy, post the symbol and tell us why you think it will change your zipcode!! Bobwins
Welcome to VM ZipCodeChangers.
I stole the name from a poster on the CPTC Raging Bull board. Cptc.ob is the ultimate zipcodechanger!!! The story is about to come true. Which will come first, the China Joint Venture or the first big order thru General Cable?
Good luck all. Bobwins
Zen lunatic420 I recognize that we have posters in common with Microcap Kitchen. I never felt comfortable buying many of their stocks because most relied upon Gary G's endorsement without asking for facts or numbers. He has been very successful at picking stocks VERY early. I never figured out how he separated the wheat from the chaff.
I guess I would like to keep our little group together as much as possible. There is value in the trust that you build over time. I would prefer to have our own board. If it doesn't work, then MK is an option. Bobwins
DonsHub re OT nwau.pk Strictly guessing. I don't think you can nail it down to 3/6/9 etc. We don't know so many things like 1. How profitable are they now? 2. How much are they depending on Navi-com sales to generate the .30eps 3. 10 million shares out but I bet Miller and his crew got a lot of options. He said they wouldn't be involved unless they had control of the corporation. That means they already own 5.1 million shares OR they have been issued options/warrants at a low price for enough to have a majority ownership position.
4. If they are already earning .03-.05eps and they go to otc in February, they should hit 1.00+ right away. If q1 shows an increase that makes .30 look possible, it should take off to $2 and hit $4.50 during the year. Progress of Navi com units will probably determine share price. Used car lot will not excite investors due to limited ability to scale it and limited markets. Navi-com units will excite investors so rapid sales and consistent increase in sale will light a fire. Not predicting that all this will happen but there is a possibility that Miller has enough info to make a good educated guess from his venture capital background. Bobwins
OldPro I stand by by assertion that big revenue increases are unlikely. They have three contracts. One contract was due for completion in 12/04 and delayed to 1/05, another is due to complete in 12/05 and the third in 8/06. If they have two projects left, it is doubtful that revenues will be higher than when they had three projects going. The deferred rev asset is 3 million total. Not significant versus qtrly revs of 7 million/qtr.
Q4 will likely be normal but I am talking about 2005.
They need to sign another contract fairly quickly. I don't know if the Chinese govt's attempt to cool the economy will have an impact on granting of contracts but let's hope not.
I am holding long but am a little concerned. Bobwins
OT nwau.pk
I posted some notes from a phone conversation I had with Scott Miller,CEO. I was impressed with Miller. He is a venture capital turnaround specialist. I put my notes in the Ibox on the nwau board. I was going to save it until they published their SEC docs but it appears the cat's out of the damn bag. You can't keep any decent secrets around here. I got interested around .28 and just when I was getting excited the damn thing took off and hasn't looked back. I've been mildly chasing it ever since. Don't have as much as I would have liked but it's getting expensive without any backup financials!
Let's hope the finanicals show profits and Scott Miller has a Navi-com unit on his car so we can track him down if he has sold me an '83 Taurus for $7,000!!! LOL! Bobwins
How about SpongeBob SquarePants Squirely Ones??
Bob's Bogus Bombers
ZipCodeChangers is a takeoff from the Cptc board. I love the Trailerparktrash guy. He always talking about how cptc is going to change his zip code for the better!!
You gotta believe!!
Enough foolishness. I will use one of the suggestions or come up with something only moderately stupid and get on with it!!!
Bobwins
gitamancip I took the liberty of posting my notes from a recent conversation with Scott Miller in the Ibox. I figured if you were going to make me an assistant and give me the car keys, I should take it for a spin. Hope you don't mind. Edit if you find something you don't like.
Had to chase to buy some more today. I first talked to Miller when it was .28 and was just about to load up when it took off. Been chasing ever since. Bobwins
I thank you all for your valued opinions. I have decided to setup a separate board and try to keep this board focused on true value microcaps. I am open to suggestions for a title for the new board. Should we keep Value Microcaps in the title???
Value Microcap Flyers
Value Microcap Story Stocks
Value Microcap Traders
Value Microcap Fundamentals
Value Microcap Moneymakers
Please give me your suggestions and we will setup a board later tonight!! Bobwins

dndt.ob with a resounding 500 share volume, dndt.ob is up 30%!! to .24. Volume stinks and spreads are killers but I think these guys may be getting their act together. Obviously need new financials to determine whether they can consistently increase sales and profits. Seem to be solving their problems one at a time and moving forward. Will do some more DD and see what I can dig up. Bobwins
I'm open to suggestions. I do feel that one of the strengths of VM has been our focus. As we welcome new members with new views, we do risk the success of our core competence.
When hweb and I started the original board, we lamented the fact that there was no place where we could talk about fundamentals and value microcaps. So we started VM and I think it's been a success.
There are definitely other stocks out there that have merit but are out of the target category. I want to retain our primary focus here on profitable, low p/e stocks.
nwau interests me a lot but it is definitely a story stock without numbers to analyze. It should at the least be an OT. So what's the feeling. Would you rather start a whole new board and bounce between them or just broaden the topic at the risk of degrading our successful formula? Bobwins
copper and zinc recovering but gold still weak. I am tempted to buy more bwlrf.ob but am not sure about profits going forward. tgb may be more undervalued due to moly production that is due to add to revs starting this month. Moly is still climbing due to limited supply. Used in stainless steel.
Bobwins
re cgih.ob note earlier in the day. It has fallen further to 5.16. Reason is likely the SB-2 filing that has numerous shares being registered for possible sale. No additional dilution but some long term investors and shares that were used to buy out companies may be coming to market.
I still like prospects of cgih and a move to Amex would really help share price. Bobwins
purboydp re nwau Didn't ask about capital sources. CEO is a venture capital guy so they came in with some capital when they took over mgmt. I think this is going to turn into a real deal. Waiting for financials before I say for sure. Bobwins
Big selloff today. down to 5.25, back up to 5.50 now. 86K volume. Someone must have decided to take profits. I think we are closer to takeoff than landing. If they would get their AMEX listing approved, we would have a better chance.
Bobwins
those with dry powder might look at cgih.ob and sotk.ob. Both are down fairly sharply today. cgih at 5.50 and sotk at 2.30. Fundamentals are good at both. cgih is internet advertising/search engine optimization, sotk is nano application of coatings.
Bobwins
hitex Have you decided to be more subtle here on IH? small case rather than Caps?? Always wanted to be suave and mysterious but couldn't pull it off. LOL! Bobwins
Hi PalmBeach re TGC
I remember listening to some interview with TGC. Doesn't look like they are increasing production. Didn't participate at all in energy run last year, went down.
I didn't go back and look at their PR. Figure out how big a well they would have to hit to get to profits. Then look at what they plan to drill in the next 6 months. If they aren't going to get to profits soon in this kind of market, I would bail now and look for an undervalued energy stock or another of the value stocks mentioned here. Salvage what you have left and double it someplace else.
bsic.ob is improving production
pdge.ob or ipii.ob looks good
There are lots of choices where near term positive events exceeds tgc. JMHO. Good luck.
wade, I think oil and gas service companies will be busy for quite a while. As long as drilling permits are up, these service companies should be quite busy. One of the problems is that these companies don't have any long term contracts. They have to build up staffing, equipment or expensive databases of informations but get no ongoing stream of income like the drillers do when they hit a well.
Weather causes more seasonality. If you look at many of these companies, they have only recently become profitable. If there is a bust in prices, they will be one of the first casualties.
I am an energy bull so I don't expect really low prices on either oil or gas but $30+ for oil and 4.50 for ngas could happen and would still be profitable for many US drillers. They might not get the premium that they would get at $40+ oil and $7ngas but should be busy.
Good luck. No easy money but a reasonable chance of success. Bobwins
Attention Value Microcappers
There is an Identity Crisis at InvestorsHub!
I can't remember who changed their id's from Raging Bull to InvestorsHub.
If you did change your login ID, please reply to this message with your old RB id and your new, improved IHub ID.
I will list all the "namechangers" in the Ibox so we have a ready reference.
Thanks Bobwins
By carefully covering my eyes and only looking at my monitor at an angle, instead of straight on, I have reduced my losses today by 50%. I am only losing 3% today versus 4.4% yesterday!
Anyone wanting to learn this advanced method of covering your eyes and ducking should let me know. I learned this technique in elementary school when we had air raid practice drills. We got under our desks and waited for the Soviet bombers to let loose but they never did.
Bobwins
OMM was a low p/e stock before it took off. ENG has increasing revs but only earned .03eps last qtr vs 2.49 price so fairly expensive. We are looking for low p/e microcaps. These aren't prime candidates. We are looking to make money so if you think the p/e's are going to be dropping because of big increases in profits in the near term, we are interested. Bobwins
Mat
I don't understand your response. The gas is being produced and the hedge is in place. If prices had gone up, aspn would have suffered. Since gas prices are down, they will benefit from the hedges. What about demand??
Do you mean overall demand for ngas?? They get going price for unhedged gas and hedged price for hedged amt. Combo determines price X production = total revs. Customers don't get to pick hedged vs unhedged production.
I'm confused by your post. Bobwins
Ngas and oil price down lately but Aspn locked in ngas prices in the mid to high sevens on a decent % of production. I think it was 40%. So increased production plus a guaranteed high price should bode well for q4. Bobwins
Copper had been edging up for several weeks. Hit 1.48 yesterday and down .05 today?? No news that I can find. Maybe the Chinese flexing their muscles again and trying to get the price lower. Holding for earnings report. Bobwins
Lam is working with them. They have agreed to license DND to sell more of the old line. I think they have come to an understanding with LAM. That was the big deal and Merrill deal is done. They have debt payments now but they have settled on a fixed debt amt and pymts.
Balance sheet is not good but they are making progress and cashflow will help fix things.
It's iffy but steady progress and becoming a source for Lam's old technology may not be a bad niche. Why beat your head against the big boys when you can go low tech, provide new, used or refurbished equipment that still needed and make some money.
I don't have a lot of this but another qtr of profits may lift the price. Bobwins
hesse
Just when you think its safe to go outside, they rake up old wounds and rub salt in them.
Aklm, my big video game bomb. "Turok" was going to be the next Grand Theft Auto. Alas, for some reason the damn kids and young men jerking their joysticks didn't like dinosaurs as much as I do.
And look at all the other stocks I listed. There are some nice winners there. Wuda...cuda... Oh well. Doing fine without them!! Shows that you get multiple chances in this market. And that you just have to keep trying to refine your tactics and strategy until you get it right!!!
I do get it right every once in a while so there's hope!!!
Bobwins
oildesk, hanging on to EGY. I think this was more profit taking. We'll see if 2005 is kinder to this undervalued oil. Bobwins
StevenRisk I post everywhere, LOL. I liked Hema but it took off on me right when I got interested. I think there was some leaks inside so I stopped watching when my bids didn't get filled. Does look like they made the right moves. Bobwins
MikeS re egy
I agree with your logic. The question is the eventual full profit oil tax and how many times they float in and out of the profit tax. The early expenses will be important. There are 3million in seismic expenses that should be expensed in q2 and the drilling expenses for etame 6-h. So q2 could be close to normal.
Of course we need etame 6-h to be successful so they can pump more oil and overcome the effect of the tax AND the lower price of Gabi Prime.
I intend to hold because I think EGY is still going to successfully develop their two new fields. I think mgmt is top notch both technically and financially. Hopefully the private placement will be quick and complete in January. That will remove one uncertainty.
Bobwins
With oils, -4.4%!! Yikes!
I say we blame Investors Hub!! We need a scapegoat!
It can't be my fault!!! LOL!
Bobwins
