I have used the link a few times before, it works , though the content looks like off topic. Of course, if more people use the link, the better the effect on the target stock.

I think NYSE is trying to catch up the NASDAQ in ECNs and by upgrading the trading systems... not sure what's in the buzz though... however, I would love to see these exchanges to go public... should be a safe investment since they make money for sure... sort of like universities, they make gazillion amount of money every year and increases tuition fees every year as well... I'm wondering if I can actually take the universities to public? Should make some good investment sense.

The Live! chat feature should be embedded into the page. It's very often that users will use the Live! page to load other links, as a result, the chat will be shut down, and this cause a lot of hassel to restart it. JMHO. As far as I know this is the V2.0 "bug", because they want to make digichat to run smoothly in most platforms. However, V1.5 can have the chat window open and you can still use the login page to load other stuffs.
For the advertisement links, I think I've mentioned it, they don't open up in a new window... you know the rest.

hum... when I hit the reply button, the following page doesn't include the poster's name of the previous message (just the main message body)... maybe you should include that, since sometimes, people like to put the poster's name as the topic of the reply message...
Or... did I overlook again? ROTF.

Yeppy Steve, I just don't understand the function of that button... thought that it will stay here permanently.
Sorry for being picky LOL.

What about Internet Crackers/Hackers?
How would you avoid them if the angry users intend to use their skill on certain threads or the Hub as a whole?

Nice the refresh mail box counter works... but at the first place, how could you let the counter screws up anyway? A function to fix the site's bug by the users.. weird...

I'm talking about some sites offer co-branding, and the service is simply created by changing the color and logo. As a result, the overall setup will basically look the same as the original service provider.
Take FreeRealTime.com as an example, I think they have a different quote page than SI, even though SI uses their real time quote service. The real customization means you can alter the different components that are being offered and change the size, color, where to display etc to what and where you want... IMHO.
Just come back from Toronto yesterday and bought FIXN and MJXC, let's see what they will do next week, I'm trying to do posistion trading here.
Maybe I should explain why I bought these two stocks... so this thread can actually has some real discussion here LOL. Just give me some time.

Interesting financial data integration, I'm looking forward to viewing the latest fine tuning before I start to bitch the site
I would like to see a real customized site, instead of simply replacing the logo.

Yo FM and Gman,
Thanks for putting my site back online!
I would love the thread to be located here:
Clubs/Teams --> Penny Flippers -->
I've just gone out of town for a few days, sorry for this late remote reply!
By the way, I'm using IE and in the login page, the username and password fields don't align correctly...
Actually, I didn't bookmark the page, I opened a new browser window then use the bookmark to go to the hub.. I guested the new browser window expire the old window's login info... anyway, I think if you have the page guard on, the problem should be fixed... work hard Gman! Well, FM, you sux in programming!

Help me please!
I've created a thread under ihub/stocks/.. the board symbol is called OTCCD
I've also written a huge description for the thread, however, after i submitted it, the thread was created, but I didn't see any thread description! Please help me to retrieve the passage, I don't want to write it again!
So... you might want to know how I did it... if it's a bug, I'll tell you after you get back my thread description
By the way, I've found the line "Investors Hub members please Log In:" in the login page a bit weird... you might want to change the grammer or wordings.

Go hire me LOL, I don't mind to work for you guys.. coz' you know, I use my spare time to flip POS all day anyway
I can work in USA/Canada/Asia, no problemo, maybe I won't even charge for any wages until the hub makes her first real buck!
You know... I only have 1 year left, then I would be off the hook, hopefully, the hub will grow to very strong in the coming year, so I know what to do after I get off the hook ==> just sleep in the hub! hum.. maybe you should let me flip pennies during market hour, and work for the hub after 4:00pm... that would be great

I have no idea where the rumor comes from.. and in fact, I have never heard of it.
By the way, I have taken 3 weeks off from going into the pit, I wouldn't know any rumor outthere.
and be honest, I learnt about your site before I knew about the pit... and I believe... the hub and the pit are different sites... you're building your message board system from ground... and they use existing software...
The pit should have enough financial power to do anything they want, and I know the pit is a really BIG business, you'd probably can't see anything just from the site... and you still need angel investors... those who spread the rumor might be afraid that your site will go online before the pit for whatever reasons. You can tell the people from your old posts on SI about when did you have the plan on setting up the hub... those are the facts!
I think it's all about competition here... and the idea to innvovate.
Even though you'll use Digichat in your site... it doesn't mean you're copying them... and I knew you didn't even know about the pit and you've made a decision on using Digichat... I can be the witness...
Just work hard on the site, Matt!
After my "vacation" I would jump in both the hub and the pit to make full force posting and trading!

After I posted a message, the site doesn't redirect me back to the thread like RB... hum...
However, it might be a good place for you to put a banner on that page for people to click back to the thread... just put a sentence like "please help to click on our sponser to make this site free of charge, the sponsor's page would appear in a new browser window."
Well... another bug... may not be you guys fault though... the morgage banner that allows me to select things then click get quote... that banner doesn't open up a new window...
well... I know I'm picky LOL.

FM,
For the register... I mean maybe we can add more explanation about the case insensitive thingy... well, not so important though
Well... now i can see some problems here... I didn't see any of my post contains "_Bernard" as the poster... maybe I'm blind again.. please tell me which post is it...
The "space" I'm talking about is the text features part... the underline function, if you're replying my message, look at the text features below the textbox... you should see a space behind /u .
The color looks good to me.
The ad... I'm not sure about the banner at the bottom part of the page... I tend to only scroll enough to read everything I want... don't think the bottom banner could be as effective as the top banner... so you might want to put small buttons or text links below... you know.. more ads = more chances for others to click on it... better than just showing 1 banner.
Also, I noticed, when I'm replying your message now, the upper part, the "original message" text box is smaller than the reply message text box below... maybe you would like to extend the width for consistentcy or center the whole "original message" textbox... just a suggestion...
Yeah, I'm good at bashing, now if you pay me enough money, I'll bash a stock for ya! You'd better be quick, I'm a red hot basher out there, I got all the secret E-mail all day long!

For the register part... you might want to tell the newbies about the login name would not be case sensitive... for example, I'm glad that I use Bernard to register... however, what if I use bernard to register, all my post would be marked as bernard instead of my beloved Bernard even though I may like to use Bernard to login afterwards, right? hum.. it's getting too complicated LOL

oops... I used the wrong bracket.. due to my HTML writting habbit... I can see that by using [] instead of <> would be a better choice because user doesn't have to press the damn shift key... however, you might want to support <> as well, since it's a convention... just need to support it invisibily... damn I made mistake again coz' I didn't read the damn instruction
By the way, there is a "space" behind your underline function example... you might want to get rid of it.

G, I'm using Netscape 4.72 on Win98... yep words don't wrap at the end of textbox...
800x600... I think most webpage are designed for this resolution.. or at least we don't have to scroll left and right to read the whole page. They somehow use the table tag intelligently.
Believe me, I hate the new RB design... it doesn't fit 800x600 resolution!

LOL FM, look at my KNUR today... ))))
well.. my pocket is getting thinner and thinner as well... hang on man, a real trader can make money on bear market as well!
Just called my broker to get me discount on my commission, else I'm going to jump ship... LOL, they gave me 5% discount!
Hey, you doubled posted the message to me, is that a bug?

As I can see, your site is designed for 800x600 resolution, however, the width of the text box I see is way bigger than 800; it looks rather like 1024 width to me.
Most importantly, the text box doesn't wrap my input text!
