Cinderella Travel Corp.
Cinderella will be booking passengers on Baltia. Cinderella has main offices in New York and Moscow. (an office in Rego Park, NY how convenient)
I quote from letter in the the DOT Application:
".......Most of our passengers desire non-stop flights....
In the last 4 years, Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States and various CIS countries have become our main destinations for a larger number of private clients, corporations and organizations.
Of special importance to Baltia, I want to mention that we recently have started a division exclusive to the St. Petersburg market. In addition to ticket sales, we are providing vacation and tour packages to St. Petersburg. This is our fastest growing market.
We are interested in a close working relationship with Baltia Airlines. I look forward to speaking to you shortly."
Sincerely,
Natalie Azarov

Baltia is Well Prepared
Some of the naysayers, keep harping on the fact that Baltia has been trying to fly for years. At this point that is a positive, not a negative. Baltia knows the FAA, the FAA knows Baltia. Baltia knows the drill, they have been there before, they are not rookies.
Baltia has been preparing, organizing and finalizing this Certification Process for well over 2 years, that is in their SEC Documents. That Process has been long, tedious and perhaps even boring. Lots of T's to cross, and I's to dot. However, current investors will soon reap the benefits of all that hard work and research.
Goodness sakes people, this is a business that will take the lives of 400 people up in the air, over a vast ocean, to a foreign land. You do not just throw that Business Plan together overnight. There are steps to follow, and Baltia is doing just that. They know what they are doing, let them do it.
.
BLTA Family Assistance Plan
Baltia Air Lines Filed another Document today with the DOT, Family Assistance Plan. The Document totals 7 pages, looks like Baltia has to detail to DOT how the air line plans to deal with any potential disasters. For example, Baltia in case of a plane crash, has to notify victim family members in a timely and sensitive fashion, provide assistance to those family members, set up an 800 number where information on the accident can be shared, the handling of human remains and personal property, and so on. Basically, they have to be prepared, BEFORE a crash happens. Perfectly logical.
That is now 5 Documents that Baltia has recently Filed with DOT.
1.) Application of Baltia Air Lines, Inc.
2.) Motion of Baltia Air Lines for Confidential Treatment.
3.) Baltia Air Lines Family Assistance Plan.
4.) Consolidated Answer of United Air Lines, Inc.
5.) Consolidated Answer of United Air Lines, Inc.

St. Petersburg
City Facts
St. Petersburg is not only the largest city in Northern Europe with over five million residents, it’s the fourth largest city in all of Europe. In many respects unique to itself, St. Petersburg is on par or even surpasses the greatest of all European cities – London, Paris and Rome.
Originally named in honor of St. Peter, the name St. Petersburg, coincidentally enough, must have pleased its founding father, tsar Peter the Great. Founded in 1703, Peter called the city "Russia's Window to the West.” Today, St. Petersburg is a treasure of unparalleled proportions with world-renowned theaters, palaces and museums, fine restaurants and outdoor cafés, and a myriad of elegant hotels.
With its beautiful crisscrossing rivers and canals, St, Petersburg is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture with wide avenues and winding streets, 379 legendary bridges, over 1,000 major monuments and 19 theaters and concert halls. Among its rich array of cultural attractions are the Hermitage, Peter and Paul Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, and Mariinsky Theatre.
Over the centuries, St. Petersburg has served as an inspiration for such noted historical figures as Rastrelli, Montferrand, Petipat, Tchaikovsky, Rubenstein, Musorgsky, Stravinsky, Prokofyev, Dostoyevsky, Pushkin, Tolstoy, and many other world-famous composers, painters, writers, poets and artists.
But St. Petersburg is much more than one of the world’s leading cultural centers. The city is also a major industrial, scientific and commercial hub – with 400 research institutes, 41 colleges, 787 libraries, 5 major shipyards and thousands of factories, many with Western ties. What’s more, St. Petersburg has been called Russia's “Silicon Valley” and high-tech center. The key role the city plays in the economic, cultural and political development of the Russian Federation is undeniable.

Anyone On Inaugural Flight?
There are getting to be quite a few investors here now (136 Bookmarks). I was just wondering, is there anybody here that plans on being on the Inaugural Flight in Feb/March 08?
The website says: "A grand inaugural event is planned for Baltia's maiden flight consisting of a ceremony at JFK Airport including the christening of our aircraft, an exclusive maiden flight with 100 honor guests and 180 inaugural passengers, and a very special celebratory itinerary in St. Petersburg. The date of Baltia’s maiden flight will soon be announced."
It would also be awesome to attend the JFK Ceremoney, and see the actual Christening of our aircraft. Anyone live in NY near JFK, that would attend the Ceremonies?
That would be super DD, and a great service to investors and this board, to fly the Inaugural Flight, then upon your return, you could give a first hand, up close and personal report on Baltia and it's exceptional service. With the large and growing number of investors here, it sure seems like we should have snoop on the Inaugural Flight.
The Inaugural Flight, and/or Ceremonies, anyone?

Year-To-Year Chronological History
Hi all, i'm new to the board and to this company. I have just started my DD and was wondering if someone could give me a quick overview of why their first application was rejected and why this time is potentially different. Any information would be much appreciated.
The first application was NOT rejected. The first application was approved by DOT and FAA. In fact BLTA was granted the Approval over 11 other Airlines. What happened was that BLTA was just days away from their IPO, when the Underwriter unexpectedly and inexplainably pulled out and the whole Financing collaspsed. This hindered the launch of Baltia for several years.
From a SEC Document:
Without Prejudice
The Company was organized in the State of New York, August 24, 1989. Its objective is to provide scheduled air transportation from the U.S. to Russia, and former Soviet Union countries. In 1991,the Department of Transportation (DOT) granted the Company routes to provide non-stop passenger, cargo and mail service from JFK Airport in New York to St. Petersburg and from JFK to Riga, with online service to Minsk, Kiev and Tbilisi, as well as back up service to Moscow. Due to a lack of sufficient working capital, the US Department of Transportation terminated the Company's route authority without prejudice to reapply when financing was in hand . Thereafter, Baltia has engaged in market research, operations development and planning, as well as activities to raise the requisite funding in order to reapply with the US Department of Transportation.
In law, the phrase "without prejudice" means that a claim, lawsuit, or proceeding has been brought to a temporary end but that no legal rights or privileges have been waived, or lost by the result.
In the DOT Application there is a Chronological History of Baltia that gives a good brief overview of the Company's history. Starts on Page 204:

AmSpec Letter To SSTP

August 8, 2007
Sustainable Power Corp.
91 Carthage Point Road
Natchez, MS 39120
Dear Mr. Rivera
Thank you for your July 27, 2007, invitation to inspect and personally witness your process at your Natchez facility. I am writing to attest to the fact that I witnessed the input of 20 pounds of crushed soybeans into your test reactor and the amazing results 10.69 pounds of liquid oil, 3.77 pounds of gas and 5.44 pounds of 7-3-7 carbon fertilizer.
Since soybeans weigh 60 pounds per bushel, we multiply these results times 3 which equals an unprecedented 43.38 pounds of fuel and 16.62 pounds of fertilizer. With an average fuel weight of 7.5 pounds per gallon, you are getting about 5.7 GALLONS PER BUSHEL
Using samples we received on this visit, maintaining a full chain of custody, we returned to the lab in Houston and made biogasoline (BG100), marine fuel, and a replacement for gasoline in E85 flex fuel from your oil. We also tested and analyzed your oxygenated diesel fuel (OD-66) which meet all and exceeded some ASTM specifications for on road diesel.

Sustainable Power Corp. Commences Preliminary Discussions on Commercialization of Biogasoline
Thursday October 4, 12:44 pm ET
Topics Include Potential Financing Structures for Plants and Equipment, Geographic Plant Locations, and Sale Contracts for Sustainable Power Corp's Product Lines
NATCHEZ, MS--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 4, 2007 -- Sustainable Power Corp. (Other OTC:SSTP.PK - News), an international green energy service provider focused on environmentally safe power generation, today announced that it is engaged in preliminary discussions with undisclosed parties focused on the commercialization of its revolutionary biogasoline product (referred to by SSTP as "BG100"). In addition to BG100, preliminary discussions are on-going regarding the Company's other breakthrough "green" products developed and proven to be direct replacements for conventional petroleum products.
AmSpec Services, LLC (www.amspecllc.com) has previously stated that they have witnessed SSTP's production of liquid oil, gas and carbon fertilizer from soybeans in their Natchez, MS facility. AmSpec secured representative samples of these products for its own testing in its Houston laboratory. While maintaining a full chain of custody of the products, AmSpec tested our "biogasoline" (BG100), marine fuel, and a replacement for gasoline-E85 flex fuel from SSTP's oil. It is these results that have led SSTP to feel confident in making the statement that they do in fact have "green" replacements for many conventional petroleum-based products currently in use today.
Discussions to date have been comprehensive, entailing potential financing structures for the plants and equipment, geographic plant locations, and the ultimate sale contracts for Sustainable Power Corp's product lines. While the discussions should be considered preliminary, initial feedback is encouraging and talks remain ongoing.
Keith Mazer, President of Sustainable Power Corp., stated, "We're pleased to have attracted the attention of what we view as some very credible parties displaying interest in our planned commercialization of what we believe is the only environmentally safe biogasoline (BG100). We believe this product has the potential to prove revolutionary, as a truly cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuels."
Mazer further commented, "We are cautiously optimistic that the discussions are moving forward towards definitive agreements and we will promptly communicate any such progress. In the interim, we will continue to work diligently at laying the groundwork for future growth."

La Romana.- The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) said it will provide all the help the country needs to develop projects to produce biofuel, such as ethanol from sugar cane and biodiesel from vegetal oils.
IDB president Luis Alberto Moreno, speaking in a meeting with Dominican government officials held this weekend in Casa de Campo, said biofuels are currently a great opportunity for the country, and are part of Latin America’s most important technological revolution in the last 50 years.
"We are in a true revolution in which each Latin American country has special conditions and those conditions are given in Dominican Republic in the measure in which each farmer can produce foods and can be an energy company," he said.

The Rivera Process Attributes
Here is the latest list of "The Rivera Process" qualities. Not necessarily in order of importance, not all inclusive, subject to change via new additions. As of September 26.
1.) Low Cost - Less than $1 per Gallon to produce (soybeans @ $6 bushel), other Biodiesels on market about $2.50.
2.) High Yield (Quantity) - 5 Gallons of USSE BioFuel per bushel of soybeans. Compared to 1.5 gallons of regular biodiesel.
3.) Faster Yield (Process Time) - 8.5 minutes per batch!! Compared to 24 hours for other biodiesel.
4.) Higher Heat Output - Heating value of 128,000 BTU per gallon, on par with regular diesel. Biodiesel typically has a heating value of 118,000 BTU per gallon; premium gasoline has about 116,000 BTU per gallon.
5.) No engine retrofits needed - USSEC biofuel can be used at 100 percent in diesel engines and with a 50/50 blend for gasoline engines without retrofits or modifications. Its lower viscosity eliminates the formation of gum residues on engine parts that has been a problem with traditional biodiesel fuels, requiring them to be blended with petroleum fuels.
6.) Highly Miscible - Until now, greater than 15% ethanol and diesel was just like oil and water that do not mix (almost limitless combinations of mixtures).
7.) End result < 1% water. Unheard of from Pyrolosis, others contain from 15 to 30 % water.
8.) Produces 3 Components:
a) Liquid BioFuel
b) Carbon Ash
c) BioGas
9.) Extremely Clean Burning - Greatly reduces Toxic Emissions.
10.) When using Biomass, Process is non-Toxic, so no Air Permits Required.
11.) Improved Lubricity over conventional Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. (Some engines have been operated without the required oil lubricant).
12.) Low operating temperatures - Running engine is cool to the touch. (less wear, longer engine life)
13.) Much lower Pour Point (Cold weather operation)
14.) Lower Cloud Point
15.) Wide selection of Feedstocks.
16.) Feedstocks are Renewable.
17.) Does not Clog Engine Filters.
18.) Improved Flashpoint
19.) Higher Viscosity
20.) Dramatically Lower Sulfur (PPM)
21.) Less Copper Corrosion
22.) Higher Cetane Index
23.) Dramatically Less Carbon Residue
24.) Qualifies for Green Certificates, State & Federal Fuel Subsidies, Blenders Credits and other Credits. (Huge Revenue Source)

Welcome investnow.
Earlier this year USSE spun-off SSTP. In April USSE granted to SSTP, an exclusive world-wide License to Distribute the USSE suite of Biofuels. As compensation, 640 million Restricted Shares of SSTP were deposited in the Treasury of USSE. USSE will produce the Biofuels, SSTP will Distribute and Sell the Biofuels.
To make a long story short, this arrangement, allows SSTP to be eligible for Green Certificates and/or Emission Reduction Credits they may receive from the appropriate state and/or federal governmental agencies for supplying its clean energy solutions. USSE would not have qualified for these Credits, on it's own. Yes, the Credits have the potential to be extremely valuable.

Help For Dominican Power Sector
September, 23 - 8:21 AM
Washington, D.C.- The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank are considering special financial support for the Dominican electricity sector with the aim of making it more efficient. The IDB is also looking into supporting the national road infrastructure development.
This news came during a lunch meeting hosted by the IDB for the organizers of Dominican Week and a group of Dominican business representatives.
The IDB’s Gustavo Romero said “We are willing to continue supporting the power sector. We have experience in this sector and want to continue supporting”.
He added that they are also looking into the role of ethanol and biofuels as a way of contributing to the sector.
He said that the IDB had a one-million dollar fund donated by the South Korean government for the purpose of alternative energy research. Taking part in the meeting were Dominican Week organiser Luis Heredia Bonetti, Frank Moya Pons and Roberto Saladín, among others.

-the last speaker mentions that they are trying to arrange for the DR president to meet JR and to witness the process...
-the videos will be shown on Monday on one of their local channels to introduce the technology to the Dominican people
-they just need to test the technology on an industrial scale (mass production) before moving forward
-He mentioned orders for 40 plants

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic: The United States and Brazil have chosen the Dominican Republic as one of the four countries where biofuel will be produced with their assistance in financing and technical support. The other countries are Haiti, El Salvador and St Kitts.
In March of this year, a biofuel co-operation agreement was reached between the countries involved and now feasibility studies are to commence as early as next week.
The advantage that the Dominican Republic has is the abundance of large sugar cane plantations, which can be used to produce ethanol and also a native tree that can be used to produce oil to be used to substitute for diesel fuel. This native tree could be cultivated in large numbers especially in the south of the country and also in neighbouring Haiti.
The biofuel produced could be used domestically and also exported. It is expected that this will attract foreign investment and create a large number of jobs for the Dominican Republic people in the chosen areas.

U.S., Brazil To Help Dominican Republic Produce Biofuel
Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic is one of four countries the United States and Brazil selected to technically advise, finance and operate renewable energy projects.
The biofuel cooperation agreement began in March, with cooperation by the Inter-American Development Bank (I.D.B.), the Organization of American States (O.A.S.) and the United Nations Foundation. El Salvador, Haiti and San Kitts & Nevis are the other nations the U.S. and Brazil chose to identify their energy need and cooperate in their plans to produce biofuel.
The U.S. biofuel and alternative energy expert Johanna Mendelson Forman was contracted to interchange information with the local sectors interested in the topic.
A U.S. delegation will also arrive this week to evaluate the country’s potential and provide technical assistance, conduct feasibility studies and advice on the biofuel industry in general.
Doctor Mendelson said Dominican Republic can use its large sugarcane plantations to produce ethanol and plant trees called white piñon, which grow in barren zones of the country’s south and extract its oils to produce biodiesel to substitute diesel. She said Haiti has similar potential with that tree, where it could be massively cultivated.
The U.S. expert said the new Renewable Energies Law gives the country a legal framework to attract investors and get I.D.B. funding for projects to produce biofuel. As to sugarcane projects, the ethanol could be exported and jobs would be created.
