I don't think it was ATLJ that gave him a bad taste in his mouth. I think it came from his bad experience over at BHUB. He probably just lost his patience with the hold and wait situation over here and the hold because I "halted you" over there.

Not trying to prove anything I'm just saying, considering this is the first time I looked at it, it just seemed strange that with all the investors in the world with their eyes on stocks the best DD they could do was the exact same thing we have/had on our page. I went there thinking maybe they had people doing some digging of their own and could add something fresh to the situation and only thing I found was ART's stuff.
Yeah it a little out dated but for some of the people that haven't been here before it's interesting especially since we don't have it posted at the top anymore. I was just posting stuff as I went through pages. This is the first day I really had time to just sit and browse and not get bothered.
http://www.wallstreet-online.de/community/thread/1126913-1.html
As I was going threw fishing for stuff I was wondering?
Has anyone ever been to the Frankfurt-Wallstreet online.
Not to be a party booper, but why does it look like Art set that page up too. All the posts are the same and if you go to the bottom all the raw DD links goto posts that he has on IHUB.
You would think that a place so for away would have their own "ART" doing DD. I just thought that it was crazy that, that was his creation as well. Even though I know he was just an assitant over here.
Communications ministry leads Azerbaijan into the digital age
Internet clubs and cafes are springing up everywhere
“I remember during the Soviet era, when there were only a few telephones,” says Minister of Communications Nadir Ahmedov.
For seventy years, it was Communist authorities in Moscow who determined who in Azerbaijan could have a telephone. They didn't allow many. The authorities wanted to control all access to communications, especially communications to the outside world.
Meeting the long pent-up demand for telephones which built up from the Soviet era, and leading Azerbaijan into the digital age of cellular phones and the Internet, have been Ahmedov's chief challenges since he became minister of communications in 1997. The ministry he heads has broad control over wired telephones, cellular telephones, and international telephony.
In addition, his ministry oversees Azerbaijan's Internet infrastructure, the national postal service, all radio and television transmission, and newspaper distributing.
"In the Soviet era, we had a five-year plan that called for the installation of some 60,000 subscriber telephone lines over the entire period." Ahmedov recalls. "At that time, installation of such a number would have been considered a real accomplishment for Azerbaijan. But after we gained independence, we have installed 120,000 subscriber lines per year." The ministry expects to complete the extension of telephone services to the country's small villages by the end of 2001.
Still, demand for telephones has far outstripped the ministry's ability to install subscriber lines, though the advent of the cellular telephone has helped meet the needs. To establish mobile capability, the Ministry formed two joint venture companies, Azercell and Bakcell, about five years ago. Together, these two companies now carry about 35% of the nation's telephone circuits. According to Azercell Managing Director Erdal A. Otuzbir, Azerbaijan now leads the CIS countries in mobile telephone coverage, and rates are the most reasonable in the CIS.
Ahmedov points to international telephony as another area of spectacular post-independence expansion. "In Soviet times, we had two telephone cables going to Moscow, and all international calls had to be routed through those channels. Since independence, we have expanded to some 1500 international telephone channels, 800 of which are via satellite. Our land routes now go mainly through Turkey to Europe and the US."
Such rapid expansion has its costs, however -- international telephone call charges to non-CIS countries are among the highest in the world.
Minister Ahmedov defends the relatively high rates as being necessary to finance the continued extension and updating of telephone services to Azerbaijan's rural areas, and says that rates have been reduced three times in recent years. While some subsidizing of service will likely continue to be necessary for these areas, Ahmedov said the Ministry is also engaged in downsizing and combining less profitable activities into more efficient and better-managed entities.
Internet Penetration Expands
The Ministry estimates that Azerbaijan now has about 50,000 Internet subscribers. This relatively low number is due to the purchase costs of personal computers; while similar to US retail prices, they still remain out of reach for most Azerbaijanis.
To fill the need Internet clubs and cafes have sprouted everywhere in Baku, and in 15 other cities and towns across the country. These clubs provide Internet access at very reasonable rates, and are highly popular.
Ahmedov acknowledges the exploding Internet demand, and says that Azerbaijan is now testing some fiber optic cable installations to bring broadband capability to the country. The ministry is seeking foreign, particularly American, investment to establish manufacturing plants for fiber optic cables and connection equipment. Moreover, the minister says, American credit for 3-5 years to finance further expansion would be welcome.
The ministry moved early into the establishment of joint ventures, particularly in the cellular telephone and international telephone areas. The ministry has a one-third interest in Azercell, and a 25 percent interest in Bakcell. In international telephone activity, the Ministry has joint-ventures companies such as Catel (Caspian-Azerbaijan Telecom), Oltel (a joint venture with Turkey), and AzEurotel, a large joint venture providing international telephone capability between the UK, Russia, and Azerbaijan.
Ahmedov notes that further privatization of Azerbaijan's telephone infrastructure is imminent, including Aztelecom, the company that operates most of the country's telephone infrastructure outside Baku. Currently, there are three joint ventures with U.S. companies in the works, the Minister adds.
Radio-Television Tower Shows Azerbaijan's Innovative Skills
On a high bluff overlooking downtown Baku rises a 1017 foot symbol of the importance of communications in the life of independent Azerbaijan.
Baku's radio-television tower serves as the primary transmission point in the country for the two government television channels. It also transmits most of the government and some private radio stations. The tower is used by the cellular telephone companies to reach a significant area of Azerbaijan, and provides satellite up-links as well.
Even more important to Azerbaijan's current oil exploration, private companies use the tower for radio and data transmission to offshore oil exploration rigs.
Rajab Abdulrahmanov, Chief of Tele-Radio Production Management for the Ministry of Communications, says the tower was originally planned by the Soviet Union. But it was left in a half-finished state when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. During the chaos of Azerbaijan's first years of freedom, no work was done on the tower. When President Heydar Aliyev came to power in 1993, however, he made the completion of the tower one of his early priorities.
Accordingly, Azerbaijani engineers made several significant improvements to the tower’s design and took over its construction. The tower was redesigned to provide shielding from transmission radiation.
Abdulrahmanov emphasizes that the redesigned tower has a significant transmission capacity that is not yet fully utilized.

This board is getting out of control I thought all off subject crap and bashing was getting deleted. I just spent the last ten minutes or so reading personal attacks back and forth. Simple:
Own shares in ATLJ: post to ATLJ board
Don't own shares in ATLJ: don't post to ATLJ board
Well the CEO of the company also had a position in a company called Oxygen Internet Company and when I looked up the website, it's a web design company. So maybe he called in a favor and the person that did the page for him was also working on a page for the other company that day.
I'm going to go for a little optimisum here and say that the reason why everything is taking so long is because they are apart of a project that is bigger than just laying a little fiber. I found this while you guys were bickering. It does mention the compnay by name but it is worth reading.
Caspian section of Trans-Asia-Europe fiber-optic line estimated at $7-10mln
Interfax 28/03/2007 20:00
The construction of the Caspian Sea section of the Trans-Asia-Europe fiber-optic communications line (TAE FOCL) between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is estimated at $7 million-$10 million, Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Minister Ali Abbasov told journalists on Tuesday.
The various sides involved in the project were unable to reach a definitive decision on the issue of how much the cable will cost at the first round of talks, he said. "I think that a second round of talks needs to be held on this issue so as to give the negotiations a second wind," he said.
Abbasov also said that Turkey is interested in the construction of the section of the TAE FOCL that is to run under the Caspian Sea.
"Turkey is trying to accelerate the realization of this project. A Turkish delegation is to arrive in Azerbaijan today to discuss this issue with Azerbaijani officials," he said.
The new 400-kilometer cable through the Caspian Sea, which will originate in Siazan (120 km north of Baku) and run to Aktau in Kazakhstan, will become a branch of the Trans-Asia-Europe fiber-optic communications line (TAE FOCL) linking Asian countries with Europe.
The TAE FOCL project envisions the laying of a 27,000-kilometer global telecommunications cable through 20 countries from Frankfurt to Shanghai.
At present, all sections of the TAE FOCL have been built except for the section under the Caspian Sea. In the meantime, information exchanges are transited via Iran and Russia.
Maybe they are driving the price down to accommedate the people who get paid on the 1st and their money hit their account today.
Looks like this is the companies last chance to put up or shut up. This bad boy is sinking :O
I will, thanx :)
Well since it's going down might as well buy some more. :)
2000 shares
I thought I did but that whole .01 thing happened so fast, it had to be some sort of mistake. Maybe they just wanted us to see what our money would look like from a .01 perspective. Because it said .0038 I put in the order the order went threw and as soon as it did the price said .01. I almost got happy for a second there. Everyone at work started asking me if I was ok. But fun time is over now, not like I got, got for a million shares or anything(just 2000), I'll live.
I use USAA because that's my bank and for the most part they are a good organization. I would like to switch to Scottrade eventually but I am still new to trading, so I am just getting a feel for "the game".
Even though I feel kind of silly about it today, being that I paid .01 and two seconds later it was .0038 again :(
I always do, as long as it's under .004
Well it was definitely .01 for about 5 min, because I put in an order for 2000 thinking the price was below .004 and I ended up paying.01.
Did everybody and their momma just sell or what, how did we go from .01 to .0038
DO THAT!!!
DOES ONE
Maybe since it seems to be moving on it's own Palmer is waiting to see how it moves without news before he puts out a PR. No reason to waste a good PR when the share price is already going up by itself. We maybe impatient but maybe he/his company is not. With somethings timing is everything, I think stocks might fall under that catagory as well.
My BHUB position monitor updated for the first time since the 11th, does that mean that we will be trading tommorrow or at least preparing to trade. Because since the 11th my monitor has had the same information and date on it until I checked it just now.
I received it on Friday. Right after I received it I posted it.
I am concerned that threw, limited amount of information people will loss interest as they have stated time and time again on this board.
The replies that people have been getting from their e-mail are replies that have no substance and when you have no substance in what you say and no actions to follow your answers. "Next week", " in two weeks"," etc. people start to wonder.
I have no reason to want this to do bad considering I have shares, but I was wodering about this CEO that was not hesitant to respond with a full sentence.
Well, I have been waiting, but I can say that my concern and very serious e-mail got a responce of more than three words. :)
First we are very concerned and upset with the price slide,
second we will not participate in any message boards
and our main concern right now is doing the right thing for shareholders
I wrote:
Hello,
How are you today. I have been following the progress of your company for a couple of months now and have noticed that it pretty much dropped of the face of the planet after March. I have been back and forth with other shareholders and only thing they seem to get from you are three word "8 Ball type responces". It's almost like you have your e-mail set up for automatic response. I have questions but I would also like answers. I own a good amount of stocks in your company and everyday it looks worse and worse for the shareholder. You will lose most of your shareholders starting next week just because they no longer believe. At this point most of them depend on the posts of other shareholders on investors sites, because there is nothing else available. What is being put out is not keeping the interest of the shareholders anymore.
1. Are you concerned with the current status of your stock?
2. It is possible for you to go to some of these boards like Investors Hub and post something with a little more substance, to keep people that have been in support of your venture for some time now?(http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=7266)
3. What is your main concern right now?
That's my point they don't have to halt it, it has halted itself. It's not stupid to notice that this thing is not moving. Especially since everytime it does move it going in the wrong bang blasted direction.
I sent your oh fearless leader an e-mail, got no responce probably because I told him that his responces sound like some stuff I would get off an 8 Ball, after you shake it. I wanted a real answer to my question.
I am a busy person too, but when someone askes me a serious question I slow down for a minute and give them a serious answer, for the purpose of being taken SERIUOSLY.
Can't flip it if it won't budge. This one seems to be on an unspoken halt.
Not if it's at a hault!
I been trying to point the BHUB'ers in this direction but they need sometime to get over the shock.
I was planning on buying more shares with my bhub profits but I now "my assets are frozen in my Swiss Bank account". :)
No worry I'm not like some other that sold the house to buy shares, but the funds were suppose to go here.
If there was an interview why would they not have it on there streaming message like the other CEO. You would think with everything going on you would post the CEO that people have the most interest in, so they don't miss it.
